Hi team,
I need your help on urgent basis, i had purchased hush puppies shoes for my mother in last week of dec’16 in non sale period, but i had to exchange that product because she didn’t like it, then i went to hush puppies store on 2nd jan'17 to exchange it and brought another shoes which is inr 4999.00 (30% discounted, the footwear costed me inr 3499). Unfortunately that was a sale period.
Now my concern is, this product is tight from the toe and my mother is not at all able to wear this shoes. Recently i had visited to that particular store from where i brought this shoes and they checked the product (Product is unused) and suggested me to email you then he will exchange this product if they get the approval from hush puppies/bata.
I would like to add here that i'm a regular customer of hush puppies and inr 4999.00 is not a small amount to ignore. My mother is +60 year old and in this age if she wear such a uncomfortable shoes you can understand that how painful it will be. Hence i request you to please help me to exchange this particular product.

Thanks for the positive response, However today morning I visited to Hush Puppies Store SHOP NO.12 GREAT INDIA PLACE MALL NOIDA U.P. I’m so much disappointed because Store Manager did not exchanged my product. I have shown him the original bill and shoes (Product is not at all used, ITS PURELY NEW and UNUSED) and I have shown him the email which I have received from Bata Customer Care on 9th Jan’17 but Instead of exchanging the product he told me ‘ In BATA email, there is nowhere written that I have to exchange your product, Store Manager has also taken the pics of the shows, He told me I will share the pics with the concern department and if they will approve to exchange your shoes then only I will exchange your product, He also told me that I want email where 100% exchange word is written and we have a different Email format for exchanging the product. I have told him the Exchange No is : A61779739 but he was not agree to exchange the product’’.
I’m not able to understand where is the gap in your process and what email format he was requesting.

On 9th Jan, I received call/email from BATA customer care and they advised me to visit Hush Puppies Store and show him the email for exchanging the product, but when I visit there they are saying some different process.

It’s not an easy for me and for my mother to visit the store again and again. Please discuss with Hush Puppies Store Manager and help me to solve this matter ASAP.

Also extend Due date of exchange the product because 20th Jan is on Friday and its working day for me I can only visit on Weekdays ( 21st or 22nd Jan).

    I am a regular customer of Hush Puppies footwear and am utterly disappointed with one product. The black straps of these sandals are bleeding colour onto my trousers and feet regularly. Attached pictures for proof. Shown to the store manager Mudasser ([protected]) at your Mantri square store, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru who suggested we lodge a complaint online. Please arrange for replacement at the earliest.

      I have purchased hush puppies chappel from coimbatore r. S. Puram shop. The sole is of very bad quality and it is getting cut and also coming out. I have paid around rs.2000/- for the same. You please help in changing the sole in both the pairs (Service) urgently. Now i am in tiruchirapally. Your product is so bad. Please help otherwise i shall escalate the problem. Also i shall publish in watsapp, facebook etc. I approached local bata but they are not interested in helping. The bata shop fellow is telling he is not having the sole. Even a local brand will be better. A photograph of the same is also attached

        Hi..i got a pair of shoes (article no.[protected], dated 24th Jan '16).The leather of d shoes wored out and cracked after sometime.I approached to your AJMAL KHAN Outlet from where i got but they didnt showed a proper behavior n ignored n told to go to DWARKA outlet but dere also no response was given.I have been using hush puppies since 10 yrs and this is the first time i am facing sumthing like this.I want a replacement of my shoes .hoping for a positive response from your side.

          I am a regular customer of your reputed Bata brand and it is a really very painful experience I have ever had from a branded company like you. I have purchased Hush Puppies shoes worth Rs 3250/- from "Bata Shoes Store, City Centre Mall Dwarka, New Delhi dated 07.08.2016. Shoe no.number :[protected] was found defective within 15 days of the purchase. I was using it within one month less than ten times and continuously facing uncomfortable regarding sole and when I showed to the store manager to identify
          the problem, he told that the sole of this shoes bend due to internal problem of shoe. When I asked replacement of the defective article the person on duty refused to change the article and suggest for complaint lodge on call.

          Requesting you to please instruct your authorized dealer to
          do the needful.

            I purchased shoe from Bata India Limited, GIP -Noida, Shop No., Great India Place Mall, Tin:[protected], CST:LK:5008715, Cash Memo # 343871/1/21022016/00010, Amount is 5504, date-21/02/2016, Time:14:15:14.That pair was sold to me in pretext of comfortable, with passing time it’s size will increase. But nothing happened .I wore that shoe repeatedly, it was very uncomfortable pair .I report to the staff there. The staff told me the manager deals with this matter.I visited many times to meet that manager .I am a working lady. Then one day, I met that manager. He kept my shoe for repairing and took my phone number to inform me after repairing is done.I waited for 2 weeks then I visited that shop.The manager gave me that pair without any mending/ repair.I informed him same time .He told me you can inform customer care through mail.I had done that also.I got a mail from customer care that is natural wear and tear. Not the company’s fault.

              Please provide assistance, this is my second attempt to reach out to hush puppies for a solution. As a regular customer of hush puppies, my expectation from your product is comfort, care and long lasting products. And mostly the promise is fulfilled except this time when i purchased a shoe, to wear on my daughters wedding day, cause i knew only hush puppies will assist me to stand this long without hurting my feet. But within two - three months of purchasing the shoe the sole broke off, and somehow i just forgot about the shoe and left it laying in my cupboard and after a few months went to hush puppies to help me, i was told that cause my purchase is almost 1 year old they cannot help me. Disappointing the response was. The idea behind buying a hush puppy is that it will stay with you for long. I don't believe in products that are one time use, and this product is nothing else but a use and throw type for me. Complete waste of my money, i would call this. Next time kindly inform the customer that if something goes wrong with the shoe, leave everything else in your life and bring the shoe to us otherwise your time is up and the product, however expensive it is, will be fit only for the bin.

                I bought this sandal in orion mall hush puppies store. The details of which are: bill no.[protected] dated 25/01/[protected] for rs.3999/-. Within three months, the straps are fully worn out. They have split into two and have become extremely loose. I went to the store and they insisted that i login a complaint. I am surprised to come across this type of the low quality in the branded hush puppy product. I always thot of great in quality...

                I bought a pair of formal Hush Puppies leather shoes from Bata, City Centre, Gwalior vide c/m No.15-08-15/1/0046. It is the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I have bought. I was expecting comfortable shoes but this pair is far from comfortable. I was expecting it will become ok after wearing for some time but that has not happened .                   First thing, I have been wrongly advised by the store executive Indiranagar 100 feet road Hush Puppies to buy rain and stain repellent for my Lee cooper Leather shoes. But being a product of hush puppies the quality of this particular product is hopeless, it doesn't even spray properly. Feels like a local product. The product cost is just 400 rs. The reason of writing this is not for any refund or replacement.
                  My suggestion for you people is to re-check the quality of the product and do not loose the brand name for these kind of products.

                  I purchased hush puppies Millenium Slip on model .The shoe name is Millinium slip on.
                  But I can not slip it in as it is having very less clearnce space at the back.Every time I have to use both the hands to tuck my feet in with a heaving of chest and heavy breathing.I am enclosing images for your observation purpose.Also while wearing it is not true to its size.A possible reason is extra padding at bottom as well as rear part.Then I suppose next size may fit me.This is to be supported by show room person.Also I humbly say that these points can not be found out in the first go itself.
                  We will be of openion that it improves in two or three days.When it is not so, the reason is tight stitching and heavy padding, Alarm starts.
                  So this is the problem.
                  I need more clearance for the feet while tucking in like that As presently I feel very unhappy to the very thought of wearing it.I can surely say it is not a relaxed fit.It is a very tight fit
                  It does not come under slip on
                  This is the problem I am facing.I explained to the store person as well customer care but store manager is of the opinion that my reason is invalid

                    I would like to bring it to your notice that I have bought a pair of shoes from HUSH PUPPIES shoes store at Fraser Road, Patna, Bihar. I bought it on Friday, 31st July 2015. Within six months of purchase I noticed that the sole is getting detached. I have approached the store manager and asked him for the return and he suggested me to file a complaint to the customer care department.

                    I have been using the products of Hush Puppies since long tome and purchased almost 10-12 pairs & this is the first instance I found the product is unsatisfactory. I am highly disappointed by the quality of the product I bought.

                    However Hush Puppies is known for its quality and comfort but this time it is not justifying its brand name.
                    Hence while I am writing this to you and request you to suggest me proper channels/ways to replace the shoe and regain my lost confidence in Hush Puppies products as I never expected this type of quality from a well renowned and reputed shoe manufacturing company.

                    Cash memo – bill lost but attached here with the account statement of my account showing debiting Rs. 4499 in favor of BATA India dated 31st July 2015.

                    I have also lodged a complaint through toll free number and get a response on my email having complain number - CRF597120

                    This is my humble request to please take care of my concern as soon as possible and make provision to return my shoes.

                      Dear Bata/Hush Puppies India, I bought a pair of formal shoes from your Kamla Nagar Store in Delhi-7 on 28/12/2015. Though the shoe bears a manufacturing month as 04/2015 but on wearing them second time I can see pasting coming off. What worrying is that I have been seeing this phenomenon for the past few years. This is the third pair of shoes that I have witnessed pasting-issues. In the past I experienced sole cracking in couple of sandals especially those stiched at the sides. However you replaced one of them but now a days your staff do not even entertain complaints.

                        Dear sir im currently holding 3 pairs of hush puppies ladies wear and love to use these shoes i was extremely happy that earlier i used to ask people to bring them for me from united states and later from delhi when stores opened in my own city of jaipur india i recently bought a pair of red shoes during a sale held from the world trade park store in jaipur later they gave way the thread binding these got loose a new store opened on mirza ismail road and the counter staff happened to recognise me i showed him my shoe and he said yes they would be happy to repair it when he called me back with the work done i was surprised the colour of the thread was different on the inside and part of that was showing on the upper of the shoe the thread used in the original stitching was off white i told them the same but they flatly refused to do anything about it i tried to reason that if i want to wear a shoe that is world class then i would like thier customer support and backup work /repair to be of the same standard he has not relied but just hands me back the pair in the same unruly done condition if i needed such shabby work i could have asked a street shoe maker to do the job and better i dont accept such customer support from you the last time i met them was this morning at the store this is my third attempt to try with them they said they had sent it to gurgaon and got it back from there and they cant do better than this im very upset that now they say if i have a bill only then will they look into it further earlier they recognised me by face and of cource the hush puppie red and beige shoes that i had bought from the store how come today they are so unresponsive and not ready to budge as an international company with a brand value i looked forward to a more courteous approach but since they said no i was very annoyed and said that i shall file a complain with their international office support as well and also do the same on online blogs as i expect a better approach hope im given my due and get the showe done in the same colour thread or if the company so wishes replace i may not have the bill but im sure your showe is not a fake and all three pairs i own currently have been bought right here in jaipur a white body flat as well a sa beautiful black pair of heels i wear ur shoes for comfort and the smart classy look i shall be said if i have to break this long association on the basis of an unmannered sales person and an off white thread used in the stitch TX $ GR 8 DAY 2 U MANJOOSHA BAIRATHI, DIRECTOR.                           Today I have visited to your Hush puppies store at Phoenix market city, Viman Nagar, Pune shop Code is 02348, for repair of my shoes purchased within 6 month time from the same store. Once I enter your staff without looking to the condition or any discussion asked me about the Invoice, of the shoes. On being said that I dont have Invoice please look in to the condition and give me a solution. Your Store amanager Chandan singh has refused to see even the condition of shoes. And humiliated me infront of other customers and staffs. I said please have a look. Then he replied in very bad manner that people buy product 5 years back and come to us, and say they buy recently. Once I told him that this is not the way to talk then he started shouting and scolding me. He used the bad words and told me that he will throw me out of store with the help of staff. Do we expect these kind of return from Hush puppies. I am a regular branded accessories buyer and have never seen this kind of behavior of staffs at any store. Your person said you complain about me anywhere in India you want, nothing will happen to him and he has seen several customers like me. On asking the contact details of senior person to him he he said he is the store incharge and go and complain to gurgaon and nothing will happen, he used the word off. These behavior of your store manager is really to my surprise. I have logged complain against your staff on line complain no is 528512 and 528516. I request you to look in to this matter immediately. Also I need the employee ID of the store manager I will file a complain to the consumer court. Today I felt that on giving preference to Hush puppies on other brand I have been cheated and the kind of service I received without looking to the problem is not acceptable under consumer Behavior. I request all India buyer that never buy any stuff from Hush puppies and this will go long if I have not receive a justification from you. I request you to immediately give me the complete details of your employee and take a appropriate action against him.

                            Sir i am a regular customer of bata because i trust in this brand but at this time i am facing a problem with this brand. I have purchased a pair of hush puppies shoes in feb 2015 from gurgaon central mall by payment mode of dabit card and my receipt no is 0006641.With in three month this shoes loose from pasting from all side so i want replacement for this because i don't expect this type of thing from a reputed tata brand.

I NEED AN URGENT ACTION ON THIS . AND SPECIALLY I WANT MY SHOES TO BE REPLACED . I WILL NOT GO TO DELHI ON THAT PARTICULAR STORE FROM WHERE I BOUGHT MY SHOES. I GOT A MAIL FROM YOUR END AND ON THAT MAIL I HAVE SEEN THAT I HAVE TO CARRY MY CASH MEMO WHILE VISITING THE STORE . WHO WILL KEEP THIS CASH MEMO FOR SIX MONTH .                                 Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter in deep anguish and frustration. I had bought a pair of Hush Puppies some time back (around 4-5 months, as I don’t remember the exact date of buying the shoes) from Lifestyle, located at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, New Delhi. This was my first purchase of a Hush Puppies shoes, as I am a great fan of Red Tape since last 7 years. I decided to migrate to Hush Puppies listening to great reviews from my friends and internet. I started using the shoes only after the monsoon season (understanding that the leather might get damaged in the monsoon season) In the last few months, I use these shoes not on a very regular basis, as I use them only for my important meetings (considering they are hush Puppies) as I generally use my Red Tape shoes along with another brown pair I have. Last month, I noticed that the leather is peeling off from the back part (Heel) of shoe, I thought that It might happen due to my mishandling – may be it got shrugged off with some rough surface or my cars break or clutch paddle. But last week I noticed that the same thing is happening on both the shoes and the back part is peeling off without any reason and now the shoes is looking like only a cheap piece of leather. I had a great respect for hush puppies while buying, but when I see this, I seriously doubt, if the piece sold to me is original or not. I would like to raise a complaint through this mail to the concerned authorities regarding the quality of the material used and the pair sold to me through lifestyle. I hereby would like to request you to kindly direct the concerned authorities to take action and kindly replace the pair sold to me. I bought my pair with high hopes and great respect for the brand, but considering the quality of shoes sold to me, I would never ever either recommend anyone to buy Hush Puppies Attaching is the pictures, which shows that how bad is the quality of shoes sold to me. I am seriously now regretting my decision to migrate to Hush Puppies from my older brand A line of confirmation in this matter would be highly appreciated. Expecting a quick and positive reply.                                 Hi, I Bought your shoes early November 2014, since i was travelling out so did not even used it till January and now after using it for 10-12 days sole from side is coming out which is really not accepted from a company of such repute.

                                  Hi Hush Puppies, I am writing here because of my pathetic experience with Hush puppies. This is my second bad experience with Hush Puppies. First time, when I purchased my HP shoes, I was really happy and ecstatic because of its high brand value. Everything was good about shoes except the fact that I could not walk with shoes in rain or washroom in office. I just could not walk when the floor was wet or raining outside. To my surprise, I fell also once in office and I was like kind of butt of jokes. But I did not take it seriously since I thought; it could be problem with one pair of shoes. The shoes code was 824-6813. Since I was happy with shoes in terms of its comfort level, I thought of buying shoes again from HP. When I asked the sales person and apprised him about my past experience, he assured me that these shoes have different sole and they won’t slip on wet floor. But WTF, again same problem with brand new shoes, how come. I reckon this is the problem with sole material that is not all compatible with wet thing. The shoes code this time was 824-6938. Both these pair of shoes was worth 4K... My concern, what about my money?????? It’s totally waste...?? Would Hush puppies care to listen?? Thanks. Yogesh [protected]

I am a loyal customer and strong advocate of hushpuppies and Bata since 20 years and take pride in using its products, but now I really feel that both hushpuppies and Bata doesn’t deserve to be brand. The pathetic customer service and inferior and shoddy quality of your product not only caused me a monetary loss but because of all this I am facing mental and physical harassment. I purchased a HP Shoe model no. - "8246825", SIZE – 8 from your authorized and Exclusive Hush Puppies store, shop No. 133, 1st Floor, Ambience Mall, Gurgaon, Haryana, 122001 in Dec ‘13. To my surprise the shoes started to wear within 6 months of purchase and a hole was formed in the sole, I found it strange and immediately contacted your customer care representative and explained the issue. After seeing the shoe condition, HP declared the shoe as unfit & advised me to contact the exclusive Hush Puppies store from where I had purchased. When I contacted the showroom (Hush Puppies Store, Shop no. 133, 1st Floor, Ambience Mall, Gurgaon), Instead of exchanging the product with full amount I was compelled to purchase a new product, Model No: "8246826", SIZE – 7 (Bill/Cash Memo No.: 28-07-14/1/[protected], by paying an additional amount of Rs 1319. To my surprise even the new shoe began to wear in less than 2 months but now in different fashion. I once again contacted the customer care and mailed images of the same and requested for full refund. My subsequent communications both written and oral regarding the refund/reimbursement went unanswered and you didn’t even care to acknowledge the same. Please note the following facts. 1. I chose a premium brand like hushpuppies because of its brand, trust and commitment towards quality, considering my last two experiences I believe purchasing a shoe from a smaller brand with much lower market value would have been a better option. What is the use of purchasing such a premium brand new product by paying a premium price? 2. Both the shoes had a manufacturing defect that is inferior quality was used and was unfit for selling then why it was sold to me. Don’t you have any quality standards and checks for the same? 3. Why the customer has to get harassed for the defective, inferior, poor and shoddy quality of product which is entirely company’s fault, mistake and responsibility. Buying your defective and poor quality product, going to your exclusive outlets, customer care centers and calling your representatives each & every time accounts for both monetary and non monetary cost. Doesn’t company realize what customer is going through? 4. Why after my several requests I was not connected directly to the concerned person’s who had authority to take decisions in this matter. Are the customers so insignificant for Hushpuppies and Bata that the concerned persons don’t want to resolve the issue? 5. Why it was every time I followed up through written and oral communications with the company and none of the executives contacted me. Why was I forced to buy higher value product by paying the additional cost and I was not offered the same product or full refund for the billed amount. The same was bought to the notice to you through your customer care representatives but you intentionally chose to neglect and ignore it and chose to remain oblivious to the fact that your customers have put their hard earned money and valuable time in your product just because of company's Brand value. On the other hand, you tried to dupe them by supplying defective and inferior quality products through your spurious and forceful services just on the pretext of your policy. Please note, because of this incident I am facing lot of physical, mental and financial harassment in addition of being deprived of my hard earned money and my rights. I felt cheated and deeply hurt because of the actions and inactions of your organization. Also note, I once again request you to replace my defective shoe with a brand new non-defective same product or to return my money within 48 hrs of receipt of this mail.
