[Resolved] ICICI Bank — credit card wrongly debited amount | |||
I was holding icici credit card no. [protected] but cleared by dues in 2011 and also got letter as well as mail from icici bank on 25 july 2011 that i have no outstanding, but still it showing dues in my card and this i got to know from my cibil report its reflecting that the said card number [protected] is active as i was under the impression that its already closed. I have the said letter as proof of deactivated said credit card (Attachment below). When i mailed icici bank in march 2019 they said within one week they will revert and after reverting they said i have to clear my dues and when i said i will escalate to the higher authority they said they will reply on 10 april 2019. I got the reply from their side that i have purchased in april 2016 thats the reason my dues are showing. I cannot understand when the credit card is deactivated in 2011, then how can purchases be there in 2016.
