I am Sreya (who once owned a number [protected]) I have registered complaint regarding call getting forwarded and of the SIM card being lost. However I have been receiving calls asking me to make payment for a bill to which I am not responsible. As per the last call in the month of February, I made a payment of Rs.300 where the caller promised to waive the outstanding amount. Recently I have received a notice from a lawyer asking me to make payment for something I am not due. If these things continue, I am left with no option but to make a complaint against the Company to stop all these calls. I even received a call from some Delhi high court lawyer's assistant which sounded like a fake one. Kindly let me know as to why I should suffer for something I am not liable and for which I have no liability to pay. Is owning an Idea SIM a crime to face a criminal and legal charge?

Dear Sir,
I tried all known means to reach Idea (namely, mail, phone and through online portal). But none of them gave me a response.
1. The mails to Appellate.[protected]@idea.adityaborla.com got bounced back saying that the id has been temporarily shut down by the service provider. 2. The mails to ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com got bounced back saying that the mail box of the recipient is full and hence no mail can reach them.
3. I tried calling TN (both prepaid and post paid customer care) and AP customer care service centres and they seem to have no details about this number.
4. I tried to upload my Complaint to the Idea online portal and the portal says the number does not belong to Idea and hence the complaint cannot be accepted.
5. Calls through automated customer care numbers doesn't pass through asking me to check the 10 digit phone number which I keyed it (the number in question is the Idea number that once owned)
6. I received two calls from Idea customer care of which one is asking me for payment and when I explained the problem, they said they are not aware of it and will get back to be at the earliest. The other phone call was asking me if I need any new Idea cellular connection.

I really need to know why I am being bothered for a number for which I reported lost in December 2014. Kindly resolve the same. If the number doesn't exist as per Idea, why am I receiving calls asking me for some payment which has already been made? Why am I receiving notice from lawyers asking me for payment when the number does not exist?

    I am receiving abusive phone calls from Idea for paying monthly mobile bill on behalf of some random person(this random person was the broker who helped us get the flat).The girl who spoke over the phone during this call, used abusive language, what not slangs and harassed me, I am literally fed up of these calls.Have received n number of calls and this has resulted into severe mental torcher. The same experience is shared by my flat mates for the same reason .The mobile number I received the call from is: '+91-[protected]', her name is 'Priya' as told by her(Can't really confirm if that's her real name though).Enough is Enough !! If nothing is done against this caller then i might have to raise the bar and reach out to concerned officials(Police). Regards, Anu Chawla

      I requested for the deactivation of 1GB net pack on 17th Feb with SR C1-[protected]. May I know the reason why this was not processed and why Rs. 250 was charged in the march bill. If you dont have the answer then please provide me the details of appellate authority.

        I had applied for a new Idea broadband connection through your salesman Mr Kishor. He said that I would have to pay Rs 2700 for a new connection. I gave him an advance of Rs 2200 and he gave me a receipt (See attachment). After calling up Mr Kishor day and night, he finally received my call and informed me that the connection in my building would not be feasible and my money would be returned in 8-10 days. After 8-10 days I called him up and since then he is not receiving my call. I have called up the customer care to complain, but they gave me no solution, other than to keep calling him. Today itself, I have called Mr Kishor at least 8 times, but he still does not pick up the phone. I am a working professional and I do not have the time to call a person day n night. It is seriously appalling to know the low level of customer service provided by your company. I am disgusted by the shameful nature of the salesperson you hire who does not even have the basic sense of courtesy to return a call, or even call a customer and inform him of the status of his request. Kishor's number is [protected] I want a confirmation email at [protected]@gmail.com and my money refunded immediately. Also, I want the address and phone number of the office where he works. This is a case of fraud and if you do not take action against the person concerned, I shall be forced to lodge a police complaint.

          I have changed my post paid plan from 299 to 199 middle of the month. So I have used there benefits of 299 plan for 15 days therefore Idea charged me 1073 Rs extra. Already company charges us rental for the benefits they provide and again they are asking me for extra charges of 1000 RS. They are not giving me exact reason also. Requesting you to please help me out for this.

            On 17th Feb, Idea activated Internet package of 1GB on my mobile without any request from my side. I immediately called CC and asked them to deactivate it with SR C1-[protected] (For which i got the waivered after posting on this site) On 5th March again the same service was activated. When I called CC, they told me that they are going to deactivate it immediately and because you have not used any internet data so far, there will be no charges in Mar bill. But, the march bill was again with extra charges of Rs. 250. On 2nd Apr, Idea CC executive told me that its a mistake from their side and Rs250 will be waivered in your account on 7th Apr 4:04 with the communication ID C1-[protected]. Now on 6th of Apr I am getting the message that we are unable to process your request. Regret the inconvience caused and the reason is that the service was deactivated in the middle (05 mar) of month.

              SIR, I HAVE THE ABOVE MENTIONED PREPAID NUMBER [ [protected] ]FOR LAST 3 TO 4 YEARS, NOW DUE TO CHANGE IN HAND SET I HAD I TOOK A MICRO SIM CARD FROM YOUR IDEA STORE, BUT THE SAME DID NOT GOT ACTIVATED FOR A WEEK, ON INQUIRY I WAS INFORMED THAT THE PAPER SUBMIT ARE MISS-MATCHING. IN THIS CASE I CALLED THE CALL CENTER WHERE I WAS INFORMED THAT SAID NUMBER IS REGISTERED IN THE NAME OF MR.RAJENDRA.R.PILLAY WHERE AS MY NAME IS MR.YOGENDRA.R.PILLAY, ALL MY OTHER DETAILS ARE MATCHING. THE IDEA STORE AND THE CALL CENTER BOTH ARE ASKING ME TO SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTS IN THE NAME OF MR.RAJENDRA.R.PILLAY TO GET THE SIM ACTIVATED, WHICH I CANNOT DO AS THERE IS ON ONE AS MR.RAJENDRA IN OUR FAMILY. IT IS SIMPLE CASE OF DATA ENTRY MISTAKE ON THE PART OF THE IDEA DEALER WHO SOLD ME THE SIM THAT TIME. I WANT TO CONTINUE WITH THE SAME NUMBER AS IT IS BEING SUBMIT AT VARIOUS PLACES, I CAN PRODUCES ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENT IN THE NAME OF MR.YOGENDRA.R.PILLAY.               On receipt of massage from idea customer Care on this compliant
              on 11/04/2015, I called up idea customer care toll free no. [[protected]]
              today morning 10.47, regarding the same and provide alternate No,
              But shocking they say there is no complaint regarding this number and
              if there is any provide the complaint number. So I called IDEA LOCAL
              COSTUMER CARE NO. 12345 to get the information, but there also
              I wad informed that there is no complaint as such regarding this no
              and if there is any provide the complaint number, They also told
              me that on my last call to Idea Costumer Care on 10.04.2015
              I was provided information regarding SIM CHANGE only, whereas
              My so called call was transfered to senior Executive and I was
              informed by Him that my Complaint is sent to the Technical team
              and I will get some information soon say by 48 Hours.

              AND TODAY THEY SAY THERE IS NO COMPLAINT,

                  My Idea n. [protected] was deactivated from Jan. 15. When I am approaching to Idea, they take my necessary documents along with Photograph & assure me to reactivation within a week. I get the Sim card . But till 02 April they only raises different queries. Lastly on 04 April, they call me & told me that Idea does not release this no. to u. & they are offering another number to me on free of cost. They are catched my previous number for another. (Our other CUG numbers which was deactivated with my number are activated, but not mine). How other numbers were activated & only my number is catch up ??? We do not expect such type of poor & hopeless service from such a big (???) & respected (???) Telecom company.

                    My Name is Malay Roy. My mobile no is-[protected] today(6/4/2015) at 3pm i recharged RS 155 for my mobile Internet pack.After the process it showed a " Failure Message" but from my account the money has been deducted. I called two times at customer care but as usual they don't have any information. The saddest thing is that this is the 2nd time i faced the same kind of problem. In the first time the problem was not solved and again same problem. Please tell me how can it be solved. Regards Malay Roy

                      1) Message recieved from 612345 regarding free dialer tone on dated[protected]*888*88#), accordingly I activated the same and message received from 54300 that this dialer tone activation is free for 05 days( reference SMS enclosed.) (2) complain raised on 1-2-15 after activation of Vas immediately due to deduction of RS 30. (3) Vas services deactivation request registered email recived at your end 3-2-15. (4) screen shot required by you on dated 3-2-15. 5) screen shot forwarded by myself on dated 4-2-15. 6) Action taken by your self on 5-2-15, without returning my money against vas activation.Document enclosed for ready reference.

                        without intimation 2G rental charges increased from 98 rupees to 180 as my register company/corporate account ideacellular should inform me through mail or sms also after several complaints they deactivate my 2G plan but immediately activate 3G plan Customer care service is also not good and they are unable to understand problem and unskilled Calling to customer care is just waste of time ideacellular have to refund my excess amount and immediately stop all Internet plans on my account my cont no [protected]

                              Dear Sir/ Madam, I am Rakesh Malviya my Mobil no. is [protected]. I had rechared from 100Rs.few hours ago but I have deducted 75Rs.activation mHealth service without my permission and knowledge let me tell you that I have not activated such a service on my phone. I had called to customer care on 198 they told no option for refund. This is cheating from idea so i request the consumer court take a proper solution for it not only for me but also for peoples who suffer same issue.

                                  breaching a policy and word from idea I was a idea post paid customer since last 2 years but recently i through the sim in dusbin with a great disappointment. i paid for idea 1000. 2000.. 3000 whatever the amount is whitin the given time but suddenly i got the Unauthorized Bills with higher amount. although the CCE replace my plan with a higher plan with a promise that you will get the bill more than 2000. i was happy with my old plan but i trusted that CCE and this is my first mistake and your first breach. after getting much amount and hearing my prob regarding bill they agree to give me waiver and not to cut my connection for upcoming 12 days if i paid 1000 rs. i paid 1000 rs immediately but there is no such waiver adding to my bill. just following day they cut my connection. i beared a bigg loss due to this. i completely lost my trust on idea and since im not using idea no. ryt now your recovery agent using the confidential contact which is not only against your privacy policy but also against the Indian privacy act law. im always agree to pay the... kya likh raha hu... dhamki bhari call aa rahi hai un contacts par aapke agents ki.. yaad rakhiye isse idea ki chavi ka jyada nuksaan hai. mera to hai hi.. i know that you can not going to do anything against them ..but recovery agent's no [protected]... [protected] [protected] [protected] athe all are girl and talking vulgar (ashleel baatein) ..ek or baat inme se kisi ka no. idea ka nahi hai .. yani ki baad me aap kah sakte hain ki aapka inse koi lena dena nahi hai.. isliye main inpar bhi bharosa ni kar sakta.. lekin aap apne customer kho rahe hai ye chain bad sakti hai

                                      Toomuch of flash messages are coming to my Iphone and almost 50 per day and money is deducting automatically. I have called to customer care many times to resolve the issue but they are simply escaping by saying that "Idea can't stop the services.your phone settings has to be changed". But we don't ahve any option to change such settings in my Phone. I raised ticket to idea customer care but still they are not taking care of this. please help me.

                                        My mobile no:[protected] I took idea 3g unlimited plan of Rs.646 which stated after fup, the speed will get reduced to 80 kpbs.But after fup, Iam only getting 2kpbs.And there is more than one proof for this.I tested it in many speed testing site.
