Dearsir, I had connection of loop mobile, when loop close its services idea cellular company cce calls me for MNP giving offer of 1 GB net pack monthly. But after 3 months they added net usage charges in my bill make rupees 4440.79/, I make call & sending mails regarding that, but no one response for my mails & calls. Now they send email for paying bill in 7 days else they take legal action. Please help us

    As a customer of idea for last 8 years, took a switch of plan to iplan 399 with all packs and moved the maximum packs to my internet usage.Was using the plan within my limits but never knew thiss word called prorata basis works on splitting the subscribed data in number of days per month, i was using roughly 35 to 50 mb data per day and at times there were days were merely 10 mb was used as i was keeping the usage under limits. But this month billing has overcharged me amount of 1900 rs for internet, so i asked the call center and was surprised by their reply where they told if i used beyond 30 mb like 50 mb per day, then i would be charged extra money for the 20 mb though i had limit of 1gb per day. Now this is ridiculous way of looting money from the customers. Why should customer use internet based on limits set by the idea ? If customer is exhausting all the limits then he can aalways opt for a new pack. Now i request the concerned authorities to look in this mater and resolve the issue as this is a new way of looting people. Regards Shrinath Rao [protected]

Agent name Yousif -contact no [protected] But till know it is not activated which i purchased on 20.4.15. and it is more than 24 hrs Pl still not got activated why agent give false promise that it will get activated in less than 24 hrs Pl activiate Shekhar [protected]

        Hi I got mobile connection, prepaid no [protected] Today i bought a voucher for Rs 70 unfortunately when I scratch that coupon the number also gone. I called customer care they told me to go to shop and inform them about this and they will resolve the problem. I went to the shop and the shop owner told me they can't do anything, before that also it happened with so many customers but idea didn't do anything. Please resolve this as early as possible.

          I got Mobilr connection from Idea Cellular Company under Portability Scheme (Mobile No. [protected] ).
          A cheque for Rs. 300/- was collected by your Authorised Channel Partner, as Security Deposit. who retained the amount with them and never forwarded to Idea Company.

          There is no record of my Security Deposit in the Company Record

          Several repeated requests and reminders were sent to Customer care centre of Idea, but no action is being taken by the them. They just do not bother to ask their Channel Partner


          Further, I sent them (1) Scanned copy of the Receipt issued by your Channel Partner and (2) Scanned copy of my Bank statement which reflects that the cheque has been paid out from my account.

          Following is the details for your kind perusal please:

          Security Deposit of Rs.300/- vide Cheque No. 549662 dated[protected] drawn Canara Bank, Vikas Puri, New Delhi-110018 and the said cheque was paid out on[protected].

          The Security Deposit was in respect of Mobile No[protected], which I got under Portability Scheme from Your franchise/Agent Name is SOLITAIR DEBT MANAGEMENT, 70/1/1, MANGOL PUR KALAN, MATBLE MARKET,
          NEW DELHI-110085 Mobile No. [protected]

          I would like to add, It is not a question of loosing Rs.300/- This is cheating by your Channel Partner. If you do not recover the said amount from them, tomorrow they will cheat other customers.

              I tried to port out because i was getting better plan in other carrier but after continuous trial it was idea who rejected documents my documents not once twice but more than six times after complaining every where(198, email, nodal, idea store) i quitted and forced to think leave this issue as i don't have only one thing to do all this thing took place this process started from November 27-2014 to 14-feb 2015(E1-[protected], E1-[protected], E1-[protected], E1-[protected], C1-[protected], C1-[protected], C1-[protected], C1-[protected], C1-[protected])etc and many more request every time same issue cancelled by idea.Went to idea store more than 10 times even they were not able to answer the issue

                  Respected Sir/Madam, I have an Idea postpaid no. [protected]. On 27th Oct. 14 at 6:18 pm I got a sms from Idea that some 3G plan has been activated on my number as I had not made any request I called their customer care immediately at 6:21 pm. The customer care executive told me that I had gone to their My Idea Showroom and requested for the plan I argued that how is it possible. He said if you have used 3G you would be charged for whole plan that is Rs. 250. I argued why I am being burdened with something I have not used nor requested but he said I cannot do anything you would be charged. I thought whatever they will charge would be seen later I should place request for stopping 3G service immediately so my request was processed at 6:38 pm(confirmation sms attached) for stopping 3G. The next day when I was checking my unbilled usage I noticed that I have been charged around Rs. 1100 for three minutes o[censored]sage of 3G. Even the customer care executive confirmed that( recorded voice calls attached). I requested the executive that I have been charged too large a amount for something which I had not even requested so please lodge my complaint that someone has gone to your showroom and made such request on my behalf so that some investigation could be done but he said that you wait for bill to be invoiced than we lodge complaint. What does that mean untill than I should live in fear of paying such an amount and stop using my gprs which could generate amount in thousands of rupees in 3 minutes I fear what could they have charged if I had not called for hours. Now everytime I use my gprs I fear what could they charge and change my plans without sms and I switch off my gprs immediately if I am not using it. These cellular companies like idea are ruthless killers in future people will commit suicide because they would not be able pay such exorbitant bill amounts generated by these companies. They activate random services by themselves and than allege that you had gone to our showroom when everyone knows that such requests can be made over the phone or online which are recorded and cannot be denied. Why should not the complaint be registered when I am saying that I had not visited your showroom either I am at fault and I should be dealt with legally or otherwise you are trying to make a steal of customer money and people responsible should be booked. I know if some poor person like me would have been caught under such mysterious circumstances stealing or making such economical offences he would have been put behind bars but no action is taken against representatives of such company because they are rich not even a mere inquire is put up. TRAI is such an agency which has to take action against such companies but it is hardly heard that some action was taken against these companies but it is only the customer who has to suffer. If no action is taken I request every customer who has suffered such losses to put all the proofs online so that other customer can see like I am putting the call recordings with customer care executive and screenshots of sms received. If customers get united and fight together no telecom company would be able to steal our money. Company which promotes tag lines as "no ullu banawing" because customer has Idea Gprs, customer does not know how costly this gprs could be and Idea itself makes ullu of customer. I request other consumers and readers to suggest legal battle and how to proceed further. Urgent help needed as my bill has been generated for Rs. 2284 when average bill for last five months is less than Rs. 500. I was given rebate after these letters but was forced to use 3G services and have been paying for both 3G and 2G when I can only use any one of them as can seen from my account there has been no 2G usage, and now I am getting almost double the amount I used to get earlier.                   I have an Idea postpaid no. [protected] with plan 999 with 5 Gb 3g data plan
                  Idea internet 3g connection in my Bhosari area is useless to enquire I called up customer care when i complained to customer care they said to change the plan even then Their internet connection is not good and i started using Vodafone sim for internet now when I received the bill they charged exorbitantly sum of 7700/-
                  when contacted customer care the executive says their system are down and cannot answer
                  internet charges for no internet. TRAI is such an agency which has to take action against such companies but it is hardly heard that some action was taken against these companies but it is only the customer who has to suffer. If no action is taken I request every customer who has suffered such losses to put all the proofs online so that other customer can see like I am putting the call recordings with customer care executive and screenshots of sms received. If customers get united and fight together no telecom company would be able to steal our money.                   Idea is worst mobile communications company ever these guys are planning to launch 4g all over India! Like their 3g works best?. I use idea 3g network..3g is just by name, it never works ..It takes two Seconds to switch to 2G from 3G...Even if i am getting full 3G network. But it automatically switches to 2g..

                  Hi i had recharged my account for 147 scheme which gave 1gb 3g+ 1gb 4g data for 28 days which ends 18 nov 2016. wen my 3g data is over, it hs nt activated 4g data. The customer care also doesnt pick up. Pathetic service from idea. should nt send data plan schemes if they do not work.

                  I HAVE CHEATED BY IDEA IN THE NAME OF IDEA ULTIMATE PLAN 499 / 4G. its mean that. 1GB DATA PER DAY.
                  They are not providing at all but there fully charging the amount.

                  BUT THEY HAVE CHARGED FOR 300MB IS 1485 RUPEES.
                  I asked the local customer care center, they just dont now about this scams.
                  One girl said 1kb is 4 rupees and other girl said 10kb is 4 rupees. In my bill also not clear. no where they mentioned the price per kb. who is right and who is wrong.
                  FINALLY I FED UP WITH THIS IDEA . I TRIED TO CALL SEVERAL TIMES TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT, NO REPLAY FROM THEM.
                  Idea is ridiculous...i have a data plan of 1gb per day for 28 days.
                  The problem is that...for example iam using just whatsapp for 3mins(no background apps using data) they will charge me 180mb for 3min...just some texting...no media file downloaded or send...wtf idea...cheating in daylight
                  Iam going to cut this ### idea sim into half after my data plan finishes...mfs

                  I re-charged my pre-paid mobile number with RS 149 and received the receipt saying recharge was successful.I recharged torugh the Idea official site https://www.myvi.in/prepaid/.
                  But the recharge was not applied to my mobile. Whem I tried to contact customer care they kept on saying check after 4 hours .

                  And now they are saying customer service executives are busy and cut the call.

                  This is really a big fraud and I never expected this to happen.

                    Dear Sir, I had taken an IDEA sim on[protected]Mobile no. [protected], Sim no.[protected] and recharged for 3G Internet service. But not only they are no providing 3G service, but the Internet itself is not working properly. I request them to refund my money (INR 208/-) and also to stop their 3G services if they are not able to provide this service properly.

                      Hi, This is to inform you that facing billing discrepancy on my number [protected]. Amount actual amount should be => 447.19 Total billable seconds is – 135602 Sec. and 120000 secs. Is free on my bill plan which is not excluded so it should be charged on only 15602 Sec. so total chargeable amount shall be 156 Rs as per 0.1 paisa per second. So my total amount would be 580/- Rs and 182 Rs is already deposited in advance so total amount is – 398 Rs including service tax- 447.19 Rs.                       Total billable seconds is – 135602 Sec. and 120000
                      secs. Is free on my bill plan which is not excluded so it should be charged on
                      only 15602 Sec. so total chargeable amount shall be 156 Rs as per 0.1 paisa per
                      second.


                      So my total amount would be 580/- Rs and 182 Rs is already
                      deposited in advance so total amount is – 398 Rs including service tax- 447.19
                      Rs.


                      So please rectify 630.80 to my number, other will I will
                      not pay-out this bill.

                        On April 4, On the number [protected].a recharge of 5 was done.the power pack offered local calls att 30 paisa per min and STD calls at 35 paisa per min for 30 days.Today I found ouut that the validity has been reduced and the pack was not providing calls at the said rate anymore. Why did this happen?Is this a new way to fool customers? what an Idea sirji. it's been only 16days and I want the facilities the power pack was supposed to provide. Resolve the issue as soon as possible.

                          Mobile no - [protected]. Plan changed from Rs 169 to Rs. 1599. Reason told, activation from web portal. Another plan internet Rs 750 activated within couple of days. Plan activated on 22rd Feb. Deactivation request sent on 23rd Feb. 22nd feb was sunday, I was at home where no facility of internet is available, no chance of service activation from my end. Already 2 months have been p[assed, no any issue is resolved yet. I have been there at Idea billing office, bhandarkar rd. 3 times Once visited appilate authority centre at sharda centre erandawane, but people over there taken me out saying we cant help. Please help me out, as said monile no is very important to me as my papa is using it and having the same number from long ago. so cant just keep away this number. I have been using Idea pre paid services for 3 years and have been happy with their service till I recharged for last months for Rs. 249 in February 2015and April. Used only for less than 4 minutes without any downloading the amount expired. I reached out Idea customer care to know about unbilled usage and the customer care but I could not get any support. Many friends have got the same complaints and they stopped using this idea net. Expecting a positive response in this regard.

                                    My compliant dated 17/04/2015 and Communication Id C1-[protected]. I have got call from your customer servive as on 17/04/2015 7.17 pm called person number is ([protected]) and assured me that the charge of Rs 843/- hasbeen reversed and i have to make payment Rs 183/-, for the same i have asked him to send an email mentioning the same for my future reference if any Discrepancies happens and he assured me he will send an email mentioning the same. Later as on 19/04/2015 11.27 am ([protected]) from this number I have got one more call from your compliant desk, and the representative who made the call is talking rudely and he told that the charges which was applied is not reversable. Then i told him that, I have alredy got teliphonic call from your service desk and the assured me that one time goodwill to the customer and the charges which applied is reversed and i have to make payment of Rs 183/-. For that the person who called from your compliant desk was telling that from idea you will not made such calls and i am telling lie, and he made arguement with me and also told me that if you are not satisfied with the idea service you can shift to other network provider. Is this the sence of talking to customer?? Fortunatly my cellphone is have automated call recording system and both the calls has been recorded. One more thing for my written compliant insted of sending written reply you are making oral reply and tourchering the customer, and the persons who are calling is not keeping any referances what they replied earlier. If the matter is not settled with proper solution, i will not hesitate to register the compliant with recorded teliphonic conversations to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India as well as National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. waiting for your reply Govinda Rao A [protected] my earlier compliant mentioned bellow Dear Sir/Mam, Mob No:[protected].
