Indian Railways — Fraud by the railways | |||||
Sir, My name is trideep chakrabortty i am from andal west bengal on 23.04.2017 i made a train reservation for katpadi on train number 12867 which is known as hwh pdy express weekly as it was on 22:30 pm at night from howrah south station. Therefore i boarded on 22388 black diamond express from andal as it was on 18:02pm and was supposed to reach howrah on 21:20pm. Its a shame for the indian railways that the train reached howrah at 00:15 am midnight and my train went away on its perfect time i called the howrah inquiry 5 times but i didn't got any help from them. After reaching howrah i met the deputy sm for my problem and begged if he could help me in this issue but he didn't help me in fact a second person in the room said that if i would go to complaint then the ticket collector might fine me for that. I was taking my mom and dad for medical emergency on cmc vellore therefore i took the ticket on tatkal my pnr number is [protected] it was worth rs :- 6585 (Rupees six thousand five hundred and eighty five). I even ran to the ticket counter but they also ignored this thing with a rude behavior that there are no refunds for these issues. That night i had a great problem in the station as the gates of the station were all locked leaving just one entrance and the peoples of inquiry at the south station were sleeping i tried to call them repeatedly but they didn't response i want to know why the train got late and if it happened why didn't i got any refunds as its a problem of the railways therefore why would i suffer. Please help me in this issue so that in future i or someone else like me doesn't face these kind of problems. Was this information helpful? | |||||
