Indian Railways — misleading/incorrect information provided | |||
I had a booking for my parents, through irctc, on train (12222 / hwh pune duronto) on 4th july 2019, boarding from bilaspur, travelling to pune. I received a message on 2nd july from "irsmsa" that train was cancelled. Due to this, i had to make alternate arrangements for the travel which incurred additional cost to me. Since it was such a short notice, there were no direct trains available and unwillingly i had to chose a combination of train and flights. Now my parents will have to travel to nagpur by train, and then take a flight to pune. This entire itinerary costed me approx 10k extra. However it is now observed that the train is not cancelled and is running as scheduled on 4th july. This is very unprofessional from railways. The situation is that i am unable to cancel the ticket now since the chart is prepared. Need your help to get my refund. The pnr number is [protected]. Was this information helpful? | |||
