Indian Railways — refund of e ticket pnr no [protected] | |||
Dear sir Again i would like to submit the following for your kind consideration. This is not a tdr case. E ticket vide` pnr no [protected] was booked or 27 th aug boarding ex delhi 7 am. On 26 th aug afternoon on process of cancellation, msg on the screen : train cancelled. Refund is under process.; hence did not allow me to to go further processing on web screen. I did not travelled against the above pnr. On 28 th aug after understanding that the tarin restored, to be on safe side i applier for refund thru tdr. Today i have been to railway ministry and they directed me to irctc. Irctc confirmed that eastern rrly had rejected the refund claiming, ticket not submitted within 4 hrs of departure. It is a train cancellation and refund is automatic. Subsequent restoration does not affect me as i intended to cancel the ticket on 26 th aug around 12 noon, Pls arrange to refund the full amount at the earliest.
