Indian Railways — refund refused from counter for online cancellation | |
This complaint is with regard to the prs ticket pnr no. [protected], booked for journey from kota jn to shahdol (Sdl). The date of journey is[protected]. The ticket was booked from prs counter from shahdol railway station. Further, on[protected], the ticket was cancelled through online through https://www.operations.irctc.co.in/ctcan/SystemTktCanLogin.jsf Later, on[protected] at 11:00-11:30 am, i went to the prs counter to get the refund from sdl railway station, as the ticket was booked from the same station. But, unfortunately, the person at ticket window refused to refund any amount stating that it can only be refunded from journey commencing station, i. E., kota jn. Even after i told him again and again that refund can be taken from either the journey commencing station or the nearest prs counter, i. E., where the ticket is booked. But still, no authority in station is clear with the rules and therefore, they are refusing to give any refund. Everyday i have to meet some new authority, who also is not acquainted with the rules and process of refund in case of cancellation of prs counter ticket through online cancellation. I am attaching documents for your kind perusal. Please provide some relief and jusice to the passenger, as this is making us suffer a lot. Was this information helpful? | |
