Indian Railways — TDR Refund Declined | |||||
Hi, I have booked a ticket on 10-Oct-2016 for my personal work in Bareilly. I took a tatkal ticket for my journey of Lucknow to Bareilly in Amritsar Mail, dated 12-Oct-2016. But prior to departure of train from Howrah at its origin, I got a message from IRCTC stating that your train is reschedule for more than 10 hours. I have to reach bareilly on the same day at evening which is not possible with current status of the train. So I decided to cancel the ticket and filled a TDR of my journey. Now I have checked the status of my TDR refund on IRCTC portal, which state that (TDR Status : CR Repudiate), Reason for TDR Registration Failed: Not an E ticket When I have booked it from IRCTC website, then how you can give such reason that its not a E ticket, while the print of ticket itself says its a E-ticket. I would like to know from Railways when train has reached Lucknow with delay of more than 10 Hrs. why you guys will not provide me the refund. I have the snapshot of indian railway running status of train for your reference, which I am attaching with the mail.
