Subjest: Cancellation of Indigo Flight (6E 7145) with NO intimation.
Dear Madam/Sir,
BACKGROUND:
1) A seat had been booked for my daughter, Ananyaa Saksena from Ahmedabad to Jaipur for today 18th October 2025, but the flight (6E-7145) has been cancelled without any intimation to the booker : she discovered the cancellation only when she reached the Ahmedabad airport.
2) Ananyaa has connecting flights tonight from Jaipur to Port Blair via Hyderabad, through 6E-816 (ETD 20:50 tonight 18th October, from Jaipur to Hyderabad) and 6E-6305 (ETD 06:25am on 19th October from Hyderabad to Port Blair). This cancellation of flight 6E-7145 has upset our vacation plans and put all o[censored]s into mental stress.
3) Ananyaa had to buy a fresh ticket from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad (6E-6728) at an additional cost - to be able to join the rest of the family at Hyderabad airport for onward journey to Port Blair.
COMPLAINT : I have the following complaints and seek compensation for them :
1. Compensation for the mental distress caused by cancellation of flight 6E-7145 with NO intimation.
2. Wasted time and taxi fare to and back from Ahmedabad airport for flight 6E-7145 and for going back to airport in the evening : Rs 1500.
3. Full refund of the cancelled flight 6E-7145 from Ahmedabad to Jaipur.
4. Full refund of the wasted flight 6E-816 () Jaipur to Hyderabad) for Ananyaa Saksena since it will now become a no show for no fault of hers.
5. Reimbursement of the additional cost of ticket from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad that we had to book because of the above cancellation : Rs 10, 987.
REQUEST : please ensure that -
a) My daughter Ms. Ananayaa Saksena does not face any difficulty on the way from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad, as well as AT Hyderabad airport till the time she is united with her parents in Hyderabad.
b) Due to the No Show that will happen tonight for Jaipur to Hyderabad leg of her ticket (6E-816), her onward journey on flight 6E-6305 from Hyderabad to Port Blair does not get disrupted or cancelled.
c) Please arrange to compensate us for the financial losses - comprising of cancellation of flight 6E-7145, No show on flight 6E-816 and taxi fare.
