[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — claim for lost item in checked-in baggage

Dear sir/ madam,
This is regarding the claim for the lost item in my check-in baggage.
I have travelled from delhi to vijayawada on[protected] with indigo airlines, flight number 6e 423. After i reach home at vijayawada i found that one of my newly purchased wrist watch was missing from my baggage. Somebody has opened my baggage and stole the watch, unfortunately i forgot to lock my bag.
The price of this wrist watch is rs. 9, 500
Herewith i am attaching my boarding pass, luggage tag, photo of wrist watch box. Kindly enquire into this matter and provide me rs.9500 for the lost item.
Waiting for your confirmation and early refund of money as compensation.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you in this regard. We are concerned to note your comments about the baggage services.
As per our conditions of carriage, a customer who leaves the baggage delivery area without reporting a bag as missing or damaged to an IndiGo representative will be deemed to have received his/her bag correctly and in good condition. As there was no complaint raised on arrival regarding the same, we would not be in a position to initiate any compensation in this regard. Nevertheless, we have shared your experience as a feedback with the concerned airport teams for further review and to ensure baggage delivery as per the standard practices.
