I am writing to formally request a refund related to the cancellation of my Indigo flight at short notice.
Due to the sudden cancellation, I incurred significant losses in two ways:
1. Disruption of my scheduled client meeting, as I was unable to reach Pune on time.
2. Last-minute booking of an alternative SpiceJet flight, which cost approximately ₹27, 803, of which ₹15, 803 was an additional expense beyond my original IndiGo fare.
In light of this, I kindly request the following:
• Refund of the cancelled IndiGo ticket (₹12, 000)
• Reimbursement of the additional amount paid (₹15, 803) for the urgent last-minute SpiceJet booking necessitated by the cancellation
I request you to please initiate the refund and reimbursement process at the earliest. I can share all supporting documents and receipts upon your confirmation.
