[Resolved] Indigo Airlines — xl seats paid for but not given

Hi,
I had a reservation done for my father from sin - maa on 07th apr19. I had paid for prime seats & meal for xl seats (13f) since he is a 70yr old passenger and would give him extra leg space.
But during checking he was allocated 6f a normal seat at the check in counter. When i verified with the check in staff, they insisted that i don’t have any seat reservation done and they’ll not be able to give the xl seat i had paid for.
This is poor customer service all around as well as charging additional on my tickets for services that indigo failed to provide.

I hope indigo will follow up with this complaint and make necessary amends for the additional charges that indigo failed to honor the services.

We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to the passenger. Please understand that for safety reasons, senior citizens cannot travel on emergency exit rows which is 12 and 13. Therefore, our staff helped him with the best available seat. Further, one of our representatives will contact you at the earliest.
