Harddisk has been removed from my checked-in baggage without my permission, i request to kindly return the same.

I am director of an it company, and a lawyer by profession. I am frequent traveller. On 04th of march, i was on a official trip and i noticed my harddisk is been removed at bangalore airport from my checked-in baggage and while i found the same missing in my baggage - i have approached the customer care, and they have guided me, to approach the bangalore indigo team/desk at bengaluru airport along with a authorization letter to collect my harddisk, as i was already in chennai on an important/business trip. I authorized one of my relative to collect the same from the airport on my behalf.

The indigo team have asked my uncle to wait, until they search for it and made him wait from morning 11 am till 04 pm and finally at the desk, they have stated they are not relevant persons to be approached and asked to come the next day.

I had to ring the customer care once again, to know the procedure to collect my hard disk. I explained the executive that my hard disk is a corporate article, belonging to the company, it has highly confidential/ protected files and project code worth 1.5 crore and it is very urgent/important that they return it back to me.

The customer care, person connected to a team called international and 2 persons by hemanth and manasa attended and promised to trace my hard disk and come back to me on my number. I have been waiting and trying to reach them and there is no response. Once again i had to contact the customer care and they state that they have guided me everything as per their protocol and they disconnected the call or put me on hold for long.

Highly disappointed with such an response. I am requesting the indigo team to return back my harddisk safe and secure on receipt of this.

    My daughter could not reach the destination due to prepone of flight followed by missing the same on 25 march vns to mumbai 6e 579. Pnr lkys9k she reached vns airport at 2:00pm. The flight was scheduled at 2:40 pm but preponed and take off at 2:25pm. She had handbaggages only but indigo personnel refuses to board her besides it was little rush there. Pl look into the matter and reply what refund could be done in due course

      I am a regular traveler of indigo, yesterday (29th march) i travel back from delhi to kolkata flight no 6e 283, seat no 6f pnr no xymgyb, as usual my baggage took time to arrive at the belt. While unloading the trolley (Drank maroon) i found a portion of the chain was open while the lock was intact. Since there was an emergency back home i had to rush out does i could not loge a complain at the airport.

      On reaching home late at night when i unpacked my bag i found everything was enact expect my wallet (Long brown leather, with kashmiri embroidery, with three chains) which had shirdi sainath & hanuman ji small statue and some inr new notes, the second chain consisted of a long gold chain with a ganesh locket and similar ear top and another pair of gold plated pendent and ear top with ruby in a small gold plated chain and the third chain had few coins.

      Today morning 30th march i called to log a complain in the customer care no[protected], the executive who received my call was patient enough to hear me out but at the end of the conversation said, we are sorry madam we can not treat this as a complain since it was not registered at the airport on arrival, however we will pass it down to the right department and you expect to hear from us in next 24hrs. I requested the executive to kindly help in case some staff has found the wallet and is kind enough to hand it over to the lost and found department...

      My point is whatever happen the airlines is responsible only till we are within the premises of the airport in case you find anything missing later out of your baggage once you open it back home they withdraw their responsibility and will not question their staff who must have committed the act and penalize them.

      I can refer this matter as a theft by some person within in the staff and the airlines image is at stake. As a regular corporate customer i will ensure that the tie up with indigo is with drawn unless my complain is registered and i get a cost of my lost jewellery which is in excess of a 1.5 lacs and someone on the senior level from the indigo management should intervene to further take action.

      I must have travel in excess of 100 times in last two years till date in indigo and this is the first time this kind incident have happened and i am literally stocked and it is a major shock & jolt for me to accept the incident.

      My earnest claim to the management is to react immediately on the matter or it will die a natural death and a passenger of your airlines will lose all humanity and will be forced to take legal action.

Yesterday 8th April at 17.22 hrs i received a notification on my Email Id that my Bag / Pouch have been identified and handed over to Airport Authority of India - lost and found department in Kolkata. i immediately contacted the authorities and they asked me to come over immediately to identify my stuff along with certain Id Proof . which i did and reached within an hour after certain verification i was asked to identify and write the details of the items which was in the wallet. and to my life time surprise i was handed over each and every stuff / item which was in the bag and handed over to me My heartiest thanks and appreciation to Indigo Staff and not to forget Airport Authority of India Team.Thank You so very much for the coordination and action. i will remain Gratified to each and every person who have been involved in helping in returning my lost ornaments, cash and most importantly my SaiBaba and Bajranbali Statue which was in the bag.           Hello, i was traveling from muscat to mumbai on 3rd march. I was carrying a bicycle with me. Indigo airlines charged me 19 omr for handling charges. Form and cerial number[protected]. When i collected my bag i found it torn. The inside content was also broken, that includes handlebar of my bicycle which costs around 50 thousand rupees. The bag itself costs around 40 thousand rupees.in total i am in a loss of roughly 90 thousand rupees. When i reported this to the authorities at the airport, they kept me waiting there for 2 hours. Asma shaikh and joel dsouza both were very rude to me and both denied to show me their id cards. No action was taken instead they offered me a 1000 rupees voucher for my loss. I registered a complaint on call when i reached home. I got a call from airline after 2 weeks for confirmation of loss. They promised a call bsck within 24 hours and i haven't got a call yet. This is really unacceptable
          1) i want a refund of handling charges.
          2) i want full reimbursement for my loss
          3) i want indigo to take strict action against asma shaikh and joel dsouza.

          There is no prove of status of passenger in your text:
          - e-ticket / PNR .
          - Indigo air carrier miscellaneous document for transportation of your lugguge (19.000 OMR)
          - POPERTY IRREGULATORY REPORT, which air carrier had to issue to passenger following the passenger complaint at the air port.

          You can attached documents here if you have them or to exlain the reason of abence of such documents.
          It is impossible to see the prospective result without such documents in tyhe persent case.

          In addition, rude is a personal and unproved perseption, which is difficut to prove by a fair statement.

            First of all i'm not expecting any response for the below msg as i am sure that this will go to the trash. I am a frequent traveler of indigo in the domestic sector b/w mumbai and calicut and you can see my name in the 15th row every second week at 129e. Due to some unavoidable circumstances i had to cancel my today's flight and change the schedule for tomorrow for which i had to pay a penalty of rs.2400+ which is an unjustifiable one as far as i am concerned.in every body's life there will be some occasions which can go beyond our plans. So today after check in i had to reschedule the flight. Unfortunate for me even after so many requests ur officials have deducted my rs.2400 + and i had to pay another 6100 for tomorrows ticket. I am sure indigo has their own t&cs but being a loyal customer i was to be treated in a different way. Nevertheless having understood the situation, may be next couple of bookings already done will be my last with indigo and i will find another alternative if you can't provide a solution. Apart from this i am working in an organization where 45000 plus employees work and my experience with indigo i will share with hr. Pls find below the pnrs for your perusal and if this doesn't go to dustbin i am expecting a response:

              I booked a ticket from kannur to goa and goa to mumbai by indigo. All this multi city trip was booked in make mytrip.

              The pnr of the ticket booked is cnn to goi — lb6wyl and goi — bom is qiq8fd.

              I missed out in putting my nephews last name as cleitus.
              The name change should be from jaden jaden to jaden cleitus.

                  I’m writing this to convey my very bad & worst experience with indigo domestic airlines which hasn’t happened with other airlines. I’ve booked a indigo flight (6e-2652) today (27/03/2019) to delhi from chennai at 4.45 am. I reported to the desk where we will get boarding pass at 3.50 am and reached the desk at 4.00 am, but the indigo airlines representative in desk said that boarding has been closed and i’ve reported late. Actually i had a interview at 9 am in delhi, i begged the representative to consider me as it was only few minutes late. Representative informed me that she can’t help me and redirected to indigo manager and they conveyed the same, i informed them about my interview but nothing helped me. Then they said that at 6.30 am a direct flight is available to delhi to confirm the ticket in that flight i have to pay rs 4736 extra. I had no other option at that time so have paid the extra amount and went in 6.30 am flight to delhi.

                  I have returned from delhi to chennai via same indigo airlines (6e-2124) which was at 18.05. Due to morning incident i reported to delhi airport for boarding at 14.00 itself. But the boarding of flight from delhi to chennai started at 17.35 which is delayed comparing to normal schedule. So why indigo airlines is doing these kind of cheating to pay extra amount from the passengers.

                  From the today experience, i’ve decided that i will not prefer indigo airlines for future travel. Please don’t make passengers to pay extra money do consider their emergency situation as well.

                    I kiran, from bangalore. Created my profile on shine.com and updated my resume. I was consulted by an airlines consultant the next day. He explained me about the recruitment process and asked me to pay 2900/- for initial processing. I paid it. I even got the payment bill.

                    The next day they called me and told me i'd be having an interview over telephone (I suspected but they seemed professional). I gave the interview. And they sent me the training joining form which said i should further pay 7900/- for training/ security fees. And they promised they would refunded my money on the day of joining. (I've the call recording). Today (27/03/19) they called again and told me i should pay 13k+ for uniform and shoes. I now got to know it's a fraud. And i requested them for a refund. They told to write a mail to them asking for refund, i wrote and they've said i would only get my money back if i pay 13k.

                    Please help me. Where should i file a case?

                    I've all the documents (Job training form, payment bill andcall recordings)

                      error in retrieving travel certificates

                      I've been trying to generate the travel certificate for my journey on 23rd feb 2019 with pnr cy9frs on your online portal (http://bit.ly/11v2V9b) but i've been receiving an error fro wrong email address. I am pretty certain that my email address is correct.

                      My daughter's flight was. Scheduled on14:40 but it departed at 14:25 hrs on 25 march from vns to mumbai (6e579) we reached airport at 14:00hrs but they refused to board whether she had only handbaggages we requested indigo personnel s at airport but they refused to board. Besides varanasi airport being a small airport with little rush it was quite possible to board my daughter. Such incidence is highly objectionable. What refund could you set in said matter let me know. My family is a regular user of indigo flight

                      We have investigated the concern and would like to inform you that our staff has no reason to deny boarding to passengers who report on-time. In fact, they try to accommodate passengers who report marginally late. As checked, the passenger has reported post the counter closure. Hence, our staff was unable to accept the passenger for the same flight.
                      Further, our endeavour is to assist our valued passengers at all times, therefore with an intention to help reach the destination, our airport team offered to accommodate on the next available flight, which was denied by the passenger. We look forward to your understanding in this regard.

                      This is to state cleraly

                      1. when and where the events happened,

                      2. what happened,

                      3. who was envolved (physiscal person or the company),

                      4. what was the result,

                      5. to experss the claim in fugures to the correct responder (the company).

                      6. To own evidences (PNR, receipt, communication from air carrier)

                      If the author do not know the basic elements of the complaining,
                      he or she can hire a lawyer or legal profesiinal in the demanded field for the agreed monetary remuniration.

                      Nobody has a duty to examine the unidentified complaints.

                        I travelled by indigo on 16th march 2019 from mangalore to chennai.
                        I forgot to take a small bag and belt after the security check at mangalore. Upon reaching chennai, i submitted a report at lost and found and the receptionist confirmed so. Already submitted complaint via email but no reply given and no call to date. Called the receptionist today, and up till now bag remains unfound. Airports shud be a safe place, especially when things are left at security check. How efficient are indigo staffs? Pls advice accordingly. Tq.

                          Dear sir,

                          Assalamualaikum.

                          I am extremely sorry to inform you that me Mrs. Momtaz Begum and my friend Jhorna Begum bought your ticket from Kolkatta to Dhaka and our flight was on 23 March 2019 at 16.10. Accordingly, we entered your airport at 14.30 but your office/officers did not cooperate us once they told us to follow (C) this line and another one asked us (F) then again someone told us to follow (H). Then finally they refuse us from H counter. they told us "You cannot carry and handbag with your hand, if you want to carry you have to pay us 9000 rupee". But why we want to pay more but your officer did not allow us to entered into. they we tried to throw some our cloth and chocolate. But your officer did not allow us to throw any of it.
                          Finally we want to go out your officer could not allow us to go out. Then 19.30 we get out from the airport.
                          Such a behavior is not accepted from your reputed company and now we would like to inform you to return our money alongwith the compensation for our harassment.

                          We are sorry to hear that you feel this way. However, we would like to inform you that the baggage allowance per passenger per flight is 7 kg hand baggage and 20 kg check-in baggage. We have investigated the incident and found that you were carrying 16 kg of excess check-in baggage. Hence our staff was duty bound to charge the excess baggage above 20 kg per passenger. Since there was a delay in the payment of excess baggage from your end and boarding was closed till the time. Our staff was unable to accept you for the same flight. We look forward to your understanding.

                          The passenger has aduty to present the flight related documents to the servicing staff at chick in counter prior to the time of the notification of the closure of registration in the airport, if sucu passenger has the checked lugguge.
                          You did not own and failed to presnet the documents reharding the transportation of your extra lugguge in time, based on your explanations.

                          The agent the IndiGo carrier was eintitled to deny your boarding, if the passenger failed to present the document producing payment for chicked luggaguge.

                          I am not the air carrier staff.

                            We where harassed despite arriving for our flight on time. Our flight was overbooked and the gates where closed before 60 minutes prior to departure. Me along with the traumatised and exasperated 82 year old grandfather where made to move from one counter to another then another total 4 in total. Airport manager ratan, indigo supervisor pompy who where all cocky, rude, ignorant and happy to declare how we had missed our flight totally and had to pay more money to get the next one. Nobody believed that we where on time, my grandfather almost slipped on the airport while running from one counter to another hoping to catch the flight that indigo had already overbooked and had no place for us. Nobody bothered to tell us that until after 30 minutes of shouting when they took our names and matched with the fact that we had reached the counter on time and a call was placed putting our name to the supervisor to have us on the next flight. Unbelievably pathetic and callous service from indigo.

                              I have booked a flight from jaipur to bangalore on 21-march-2019 having pnr no. As pfrsqm flight no. 6e 556.

                              No meal provided in flight despite having complimentary meal at the time of booking.

                              I am having my boarding pass with me in which there is a strip for complimentary meal but no such meal provided to me in the flight.

                              Complimentary meal is a part of service.
                              In order to get the compensation, the passenger can hire a lawyer (from 3000 rupeess) and submit the complaint to the customers court (payable fee ~100 rupees) forthe compensation of meals,
                              if no suitbale compensation, for example in the form of voucher is provided by the air carrier.

                              Thought, the attached document does not show the reference to the complimentray meals deuring the flight.

                                I was traveling in indigo flight 6e135 from pune to ahmedabad on 24 th march 19
                                This was my connected flight to reach my final destination varanasi on the same day with indigo flight 6e719. After reaching varanasi i did not receive my bag so look to the matter it has caused me a great loss. I want my bag in a proper way and with all my things in and my loss too.

                                  I recently travelled from goa to bangalore in flight number 6e 6323 on 23rd march 19 a glass bottle in my bag given in the checkin luggage was broken even though the bag hada fragile sticker on it
                                  The bag was properly packed and it was broken because of the fault of the airlines so the airlines should bear the cost and provide me with a refund for the same

                                    I had a flight today morning at 5:05 from bangalore to kolkata. I reached the check in point at 4:15 and asked the queue manager to let me go in on priority. He asked me my flight timings and asked me to come by the queue as it wont be an issue. When i reached the counter it was already 4:30 and they told that he check in has been closed for the flight. I had a small luggage with me which weighed around 9 kgs so i requested them if i can take it along with me and proceed for the security check in but the lady at the counter was not helpful she asked me to go to the counter and buy new tickets with extra price. Later they accommodated e in the next flight with extra charges of 1000 rs.
                                    The next flight did not take off for atleast half an hour after their scheduled departure. The passangers were kept to suffocate in the flight with no ac with no support from the staff.
                                    Pathetic services. I want my whole money to be refunded in this scenario.

                                    If your text is correct, you are entiled on the compensation for denided boarding and on refund according to paid amount of lugguge from the Indigo air carrier

                                    The attached receipt is one for processing of the credit card. It is not the receipt for the air travel.
                                    it looks that you became of voctim of double fraud, if your words are true.

                                    The Indian law foresees the exact amount for doble denied boarding in the stated 2 cases.

                                    You are entitled to claim the exact 2 equal amounts from
                                    - air carrier at the air carrier site
                                    and / or
                                    - due to froud from the AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA in your state.

                                    You can copy this text and keep your e-ticket and copy of receipt till the final examination.
                                    the decision regarding the such examination and on refund (compensation) must be delivered to you not later than in 15 days on the part of air carrier and in 30 days on the part of AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA following the day of your correct complaint to both addresses.

                                      I was traveling from lko to sharjah. At lucknow airport the indigo staff stoped me and said you can't travel becz your passport is damage. The staff have lot of stories. When i asked to the emigration they do not have issue. Staff of indigo are not well trained. Atleast they should know there work and let emgiration do there work. Very poor service by staff. Please give full knowledge to staff of indigo. They are like kid.. For any details they are roaming here and there they do not have confidence.
