Ixigo — Full money not refunded by ixigo on cancellation of my Air Ticket | |
I have booked my air ticket in the name of Ashutosh Dube from Bangalore to Lucknow in Indigo flight no 6E-503 (date of journey 02.05.2020 and PNR No- FNVJKX). I paid Rs. 3, 953/- on this booking. However, due to COVID-19 epidemic, this flight was cancelled by Indigo and the ticket was cancelled automatically by Indigo. But I received only Rs. 3, 391/- ( Rs. 120 in ixigo wallet and Rs. 3, 271/- in my bank account) on cancellation of my ticket. Since, this flight was cancelled by airlines company i.e. Indigo. I am eligible to get the full amount as refund. But I have received Rs. 562/- less. when I called to Indigo to know the reason of this shortage amount of refund, indigo told me that it has refunded me the entire amount as refund i.e. Rs. 3, 953/-. It means the ixigo has taken the balance money of Rs. 562/-. I requested many times to ixigo to refund my balance money, but no response has been given by ixigo till date. Please take appropriate action against ixigo and direct them to refund my balance amount of Rs. 562/- immediately.
