Flight ticket from New Delhi to Bangalore on PNR 5BM7CL was booked through Ixigo APP. Flight was through VISTARA AIRLINES on 18th of Feb 22. Due to Covid i had to reschedule my ticket from 18th Feb. 22 to 22nd Feb 22. The Ixigo customer service AGENT and the WhatsApp message to the customer confirmed the airline is doing free rescheduling without any charges. Therefore this was done on 17th Of Jan. On 1st of Feb due to prolonged illness i had to cancel my ticket and over the call the customer service representative confirmed ticket has been cancelled by the airline and full refund will be issued.
On my follow-up from 2nd Feb to 10th Feb the customer service stated i received different statements on the status of cancellation that the flight has been cancelled from VISTARA and pending at IXIGO until 13th of Feb.
Finally ON MY FOLLOW UP for the 18th time an email from IXIGO stated
no refund will be issued.
Now i request the consumer court to take strict action against IXIGO for NONREFUND of the amount even on basis of COVID. Following necessary
action will be forwarded to necessary authorities for this unprofessional attitude towards customer and swindling the money of customer assuring them of assured fare. All facts are been recorded in IXIGO customer service records. Was this information helpful? |
