[Resolved] Ixigo — Refund my ticket amount for train's fake cancellation

I booked 3 tickets through ixigo app on 11 November for journey commencing from 1st Dec 2020 from new delhi to panvel train no. 02432. On 24th November i received a text msg from irctc that train is cancelled due to some inconvenience. I checked ixigo app to cancel my tickets on my own..but it was not showing any option to cancel it by ourselves. So i kept quite hoping that i will get refund after 7 days of travel date & booked tickets for another date.But suddenly on 1st Dec i received text msg containing that CHART IS PREPARED leaving me utterly clueless. I couldn't even think that this could be happened. I contacted railway inquiry at 139 & they told me that train has not been cancelled but diverted also they didn't give me satisfactory answer that why did i receive Cancellation msg of train .Also ixigo app was continuously showing that TRAIN IS CANCELLED in red block letters even though train was restored. I immediately tried to file TDR after seeing text msg of chart is prepared but it was showing error because there wasn't enough time of 4 hours from the departure of train.

So as it is of ixigo's fault that i didn't receive any massage containing that train has been restored..& i missed my journey along with such a big amount of Rs 7982, , .. i kindly request you to please refund my ticket amount 7982 Rs as soon as possible.

I had posted my complaint through this portal before too..but i hadn't received any positive response from Ixigo..so i am complaing again. Kindly refund my hard earned money as soon as possible. My PRN is [protected]. You can also check my prn in screenshots i have attached here.

Please don't rely only on this portal. They take too much time to give responce here. Tweet on twitter or reach them on facebook as possible for you. They will notice you there immediately. I had complained here many times but no satisfactory response has come from Ixigo then i saw someone's review to tweet or massage them on facebook. I tweeted on 15 april.. immediately i got response from them within 2 minutes. They told that they will reach me after verifying my case. After then i received a call from them so i described my issue in detail. So after verifying the process they initiatiad my full refund on 16th april 2021.They shared refund details over my mail. I also had to mail my bank's customer care complaining about not getting refund amount soon ..as they(ixigo) told me that amount will be get credited within 7 working days. So i emailed my bank on 23rd april & finally amount has been credited into my account on 30th april. I was struggling since 2 December 2020 to get my money back through different portals also i did file a case against ixigo through online legal India consumer forum & lost my 500 rs as a fee but nothing has worked till i reached them over twitter. But i suggest you that do complain against them only if you have genuine complaint or else it will be only time wastage for you & them too.

Ixigo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
