Jiomart — Gift Card Partial Redemption

On 05-Nov, 2025, I purchased 1000/- Jio Mart Gift voucher from CRED to be utilized for purchase on Jio Mart. I redeemed the gift card for the purchase of 220/- cart value. The balance of 780/- didnot show up in my Gift Card balance, then I navigated through app to find the reason and then switched back to CRED and gone through the Terms & Conditions. The condition is that Gift card should be redeemed at once not multiple times. It was Crazy to know that condition because, I use gift card to get max out of purchases on Flipkart, Zepto & Instamart. CRED has hosted the JioMart Gift card along with these and hidden the condition. Such exceptions should be highlighted in 2 places, 1. on CRED APP, When I tried purchasing the Gift card that, its one time redemption and on the JioMart app, stating "your cart value is lesser than Gift card, balance will lapse"., but sadly, it missed both and played with the customers.

When reached out to CRED, they acknowledged the issue and mentioned to reach out to them, if JioMart customer care fails to resolve it and as expected JIO Mart customer care person was not fluent in english and not confident. he put me on hold to pass the call to his supervisor, but in vain. he mentioned, that he doesn't know ETA, he didnt know what ETA means basically, I had explain. then again he put me on hold 26 mins only to get disconnected.
