    Hi team,

    I had tried to update my aadhar card address and i'm getting the "transliteration error in the request field". This is not my first time trying to update the address. I googled it and turns that a lot of people have the same complaints like this. Can you assist me how to rectify this error at the earliest?

      I am an Overseas Indian Citizen residing in USA. I have requested Karvy to send my share certificates with Rain Industries. In spite of sending documents through courier including copy of PAN Card, passport, OCI card, Bank documents, Karvy never responds. I have called them many times from US, they always ask me to send another e mail or let them know my phone number.
      I was once told over the phone that the delay is due to the change in my name. It is VARGHESE P.K on the share certificate. They never tell me what I should do. I have given documents on name change including Indian Passports issued in my old an new names.
      It is now more than 2 months since I send the request. I am OK waiting, but I expect at least an E mail from them telling me what to do.

Can you please specify as to which components of the address were wrongfully transliterated so a rectification can be made. This was after several attempts for transliteration correction as specified in the instructions.

                Dear karvy team,

                Transliteration error again and again

                For the last 3 times i am trying to update my wife address in adhaar but every times i get the
                Transliteration error. First time i enter address in english the translation in hindi is totally wrong
                So i enter the right translation by entering the right phrase in english and this way i get the right
                Address in hindi too. After that i receive massage "transliteration error"

                2nd time i have not done any correction but found same massage"transliteration error"

                Please short out this issue asap and revert also.

                Dear Applicant,

                You can call 1947 to resolve your grievance directly. Alternatively, you can follow the steps given below:

                Step 1: Download Google Input Tool for windows/Chrome from (Google Input Tools).
                Step 2: Mark the required local language for input.
                Step 3: Once you are done with installation open the Aadhaar update in chrome/any desired browser.
                Step 4: type the fields to be updated in English and check whether the translation for that word is correct in the local language.
                Step 5: If not select the local language in Google input tool keyboard and enter the correct input in the local language.

                After filling out all the details correctly you are ready to submit the update request.

                  I am trying to update my address in aadhaar card online. Please it is rejecting again and again by giving the transliteration error.                                 You have asked for furnishing pan and bank details first in the month of june 2018 and the details as per format alongwith a cancelled cheque was sent to u on 06/06/2018 via dtdc which was delivered on 09/06/2018. U have asked for the same again on 07/07/2018, which i sent to u by read post on 11/07/18 and deliverd to u on 14/07/18. Third time u asked for the same on01/08/18.                                   I am having account at KARVY
                                  i WANT to close account.
                                  ACCOUNT CLOSURE - CLIENT ID 1162249

                                  I had submitted account closure request dated 3rd august to karvy office at Ahmedabad.
                                  Trading User ID : 1162249
                                  i had not rcd. any mail intimation regarding closure process initiation.

                                  I sent email to [protected]@karvy.com

                                    I have tried to update Aadhaar address online at least 10 times but every time either I receive a rejection email of transliteration error or data mismatch.

                                    Your Request 0000/00524/53232 has been rejected due to: Data mismatch in document and update request .Please resubmit correct request or visit the nearest Aadhaar Kendra for updates.

                                    Please help me here.

                                      Did it solve for you pls? I have a similar situation and I don't know how to get it addressed. In fact getting anything done from Karvy using digital is nearly impossible. It is a must to stop everything in life and keep running after its offices.

                                        I have updated my aadhar address using uidai official site (Uidai.gov.in) by attaching a valid address proof. After 1-2 hours i am receiving an error message saying "your request 0000/00524/48985 has been rejected due to: transliteration error in the request field." the translation to the native language is not correct, there is no specific reason why i am getting this error.
                                        Please help me figure out the error and what needs to be done to fix it?
