My hospitalization claim was approved on 07/20/2018 itself but didn't received the amount in the bank yet.

Initially, when i contacted them, they said it will be credited in 7 to 10 business days but its been more than a month and now i am not even getting responses back from them.

I have attached the screenshot for the reference. Kindly help me get the approved amount.

    I have mailed to the concern person more than 30 times and been in touch constantly over phone for claim id 16797412 even after submitting all the documents i have not received any proper response neither it reimbursed.

    I got message saying the claim is closed for non submission of documents but concerned person said it is still process and not closed but haven’t heard anything over it. Is this the way media assist provide services to its customers.

      Health insurance tpa is medi-assit, without verification the claim has been rejected by less than 24hrs, after submitting the doctor certificate for the same, still the claim status was denied why? Claim is submitted in june 2018 till it is not resolved, service is in very worst condition. Kindly check no of calls and complaints on the claim.

        No any follow up my claim neither answer however results of my claim. Much time to submit my documents, within over three months i have submitted my documents. Last over one month i got one answer, which your claim has under process. But now no any results.
        Please do fast action for this, otherwise i will go to the under legal termination.

          Dear team,

          I have visited to hariyana from ahmedabad for back treatment at arya ved shala in the month of jun 2018. After returning back i have submitted all the documents. But due to unawareness, i have missed the original copy of the indoor case paper. I have managed to bring the scan copy of the same and submit the same to mediassist. But i have been to told to get the original copy. Original copy was couriered but not received.
          However, i have already submitted all the documents, discharge summary medical bills etc in original format.
          This is a genuine claim and i am excepting the support in this regards.

          My mother is a heart patient and was admitted in hospital .. we gave all the documents as needed but while discharging they didn't approve the claim... They don't even answer the phone calls... This is very very bad insurance company... Harassing one.. I never recommend...

            Dear sir,
            I am bank of india employee my i/d 144820. Mahendra singh kapoor.
            My mother mrs kamla kapoor have hospitalize on 09.05.2018 at tejankar health care and medical research inst. Pvt. Ltd., ujjain claimno.16969415
            Cashless. All revant papers send by hospital at the time of discharge on25.05.2018. Your tpa medi ass have approved claim on 01.06.2018 of rs.92493/- against claim amount rs 95383/.
            Hospital has deposited amount rs10000/-at the time of admission. They are not refund my amount till final claim not settled by you (United india indurance co.). We have many time talk to medi ass.co. (Tpa) they said wait for one week insurance payment in progress from 03.06.2018 it is more than 72 days pending at your end.. Medi ass ap show that approved debit note but amount not credited in hospital account why!
            Please tell me how many days we will wait for my deposit amount refund by hospital. Please look into the matter and resolve my problem as early as possible.

              To provide more clarity:
              - my mom is admitted to brs hospital on 11th july morning and discharged on 15th july evening.
              - when we admitted, the hospital was not having the operator for scan, hence doctors suggested to take usg scan from scans world. We took the scan in the scans world and the original bills (Rs.2600) along with original scan reports are submitted for claim.
              - during this period she had been given 4 units of blood transfusion. For which i have submitted all 3 original bills (Rs, 1300, rs. 1300 and rs. 2600). All the original bills are submitted for claim.
              - when i checked with the front desk team in chennai office, they said for blood transfusion, the discharge summary which is submitted by hospital as part the claim will be used. So no need of other details.
              I spoke to mediassist customer care on the clarification requested by you. He is also not clear what details requested for and suggested to write a mail to this id.
              So i am not sure what other details of the bill receipt is required. It is not clear from the letter and mail sent by your teams.

                It's 6 month we have submitted the claim. Every month we aee asked for new document and reason given is they decided the need now. Don't they have documentation around what need to be submitted based on amount? Please learn documentation from your competitors. Worst. Customer service experience. Better to avoid..

                Their website confirms claim settled but employee conveys that its invalid status. Are we living in digital india?

                  My husband hospitalized in Metro Hospital on 02.06.2018 .
                  I am submitting my reimbursement documents on 18.06.2018.
                  From insurance company inform me,
                  We regret to inform you that, your claim has been denied because, "On scrutiny of claim documents it has been observed that, patient admitted at Metro Multispeciality HospitalPune for prolapse of intervertebral disc L4-L5 from 02/06/18 to 04/06/18 and as per date of first MRI report 06/02/2018 and date of inception of policy is 27 Mar 2018 which means duration of illness prior to inception of policy and patient disclose this material fact in his /her proposal form so we regret our inability to admit this liability under the present policy conditions. we wish to point out, that you still have the right of appeal with the insurer."
                  But I sending a mail to insurance company again and again and inform to insurance company;
                  The date of MRI 06/02/2018 is mentioned as per the MM/DD/YY format.

                  In case you have any doubt or confusion with MRI date, can I Submit Original MRI Films/ Copy for your reference/ Verification.

                  But insurance company again and again forward me the following mail.
                  I request you to please check all information by right way & perfectly and then after you can take final design about my cllaim

                    I have corporate insurance (Techmahindra) with medi assist. As per their policy they will allow cashless treatment in their network hospitals.

                    But even after submitting all the reports and blood samples and necessary documents from the hospital they are simply rejecting and asking to come for reimbursement. They are really cheating even corporate insurance holders also. If they are not okay with cashless why they will reimbursement. As per their policy unless patient is about to die its not critical, behalf of this policy better to go for insurance. They will note down your number and answer the calls. I am requesting to withdraw my insurance.

                      Hi team,

                      My humble request, please forward this to escalation team. I informed that, implant rod sticker is not available with hospital nor with dme store. Also provided the reason (Dme store stated that implant sticker is available for imported rod which cost 50000/- plus. Mine was for 21000/- hence sticker was not available on rod, please escalate it to supervisor on urgent basis.)
                      However none of the person is replying with proper resolution.
                      I stated that apart from implant rod bill, please pass other claim.
                      Please get back to me on urgent basis... It has been one month no resolution founded.

                          This is with reference with Claim number[protected] of Vijay Kumar Duggal submitted to Medi Assist by Ruby Hall, Wanowrie, Pune.

                          Initially the amount of Rs. 72294 was authorized by Medi Assist which was worked out based on my Mediclaim policy authorization of room rent and the cost of Procedure.

                          Since I took a private room the final bill amount was Rs. 103638.

                          I should have paid the difference between the initial authorization of Rs. 72294 and total amount of Rs. 103638 with a small variation.

                          However, I was shocked to find out during the final settlement that the authorized amount was reduced by a whooping Rs. 21562.

                          I am a 66 year old policy holder who submitted the very first claim in 15 years and I am totally disappointed in the way this claim has been handled.

                            Myself swapnil r. Bhatulkar employee of bank of india. I have submitted my new born baby medical claim in the month of mar;2018 though our vidarbha zonal office to medibuddy which is delivered to medibuddy on 19th mar;2018 (Claim id:[protected] after 1month i. E. On 30 apr;2018 i received mail from medibuddy that your claim has been cancelled because of your dependent name not updated in their system. I have already added dependent name in our boi hrms in the month apr;2018 and pdc send many times from the month may;2018. I sent mail many times regarding claims approval but always got a answer that your dependent name not added in our system plz contact your ho hrms, i have contacted our ho hrms regarding this issue but they told me that your details are already send to insurance company and this cycle rotates from last 4 months now i am very disappointed & frustated by your service which is given to me from last 4months. (I have mailed many times from 15may;2018 but till date claim is not sanctioned and issue is same) god knows when it will be done. I am psu employee but also get this treatment what is the situation of normal customer of your company. I am requesting you to look into this matter and provide a valid solution. I have lot of hopes from your side.

                                I have applied for reimbursement of my fathers hospital bill, on[protected].

                                Insurance company - the oriental insurance co. Ltd.

                                Patient name - ravasab jayagoud.

                                The claim not yet settled, its keep on postponing, from june -2018 onward,
                                They are not responding, keep on saying the same reason (Technical issue) from long time, they keep on postponing the commit date.

                                  Applied for cashless claim and was rejected saying that cellulitis doest not lie under the critical condition so it is under one year waiting period.

                                  As my father was admitted in emergency and was admitted in emergency for 4 hrs before shifted to wards. His condition was so critical that he his infection was growing high with severe pain and was told to be treated in emergency other wise it need to surgery of left leg and mediassist declined this claim saying non critical.

                                  I think critical case would be the patient who died during claim...

                                  This is purely cheat and will fight for it using consumer court.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      This is with reference to the above mentioned claim.
                                      Checking with Medi Assist I was made to understand that the case has gone for investigation on 31st July 2018. I would like to highlight some of the Facts.

                                      1. Claim was filed on 18th May 2018. On 25th May 2018 it went for investigation. After continous follow up on 11th July 2018 they raised 2 point query.The same were submitted on 11th july 2018. Receipt attached.
                                      2, Again on 19th They raised 11 querry. Out of 11 query 2 were already the same as were raised on 11 th july and others related to the policy were answered on 23rd july.Receipt attached.

                                      Medi assist for the past 2 months are coming with same ans as its under process.
                                      I fail to understand that when the case was for investigation for 2 month again why has the same gone again.Its already 3 months now and it should be settled or denied for further action from our end.

                                      I am 74 years of age and have been asked by Medi asssist to submit claim form twice with hospital signature in orignal. I at this age cannot run around for this. When all the documents required by the authorities are submitted they should come up with a answer of aprroval/denial for further actions from my end.

                                      I request you to please look into the matter urgently.
