Medi assist id 17389366.
My wife had undergone a surgery in a multispeciality hospital in kerala in last june. After which i submitted the relevant documents and bills duly signed by the chief medical officer of the hospital. But they have sanctioned only 50% of my claim amount that i came to know from the meddy buddy mobile application yesterday, with certain lame excuses.
At the time discharge we paid the entire bill to the hospital in which all the break ups are mentioned. But the company asks for separate bills for anesthesia signed by that doctor, nursing charge, lab charge etc... But a team of doctors when a surgery is performed, it is ridiculous to ask this.
I had sent a complaint mail to retailsupport @mediassist india.com, but no reply yet.
Anesthesia charge, nursing charge, ot charge, medicines etc in the bill if the company does not provide to the insurance policy holder, then it is what type of insurance you are providing?

    I have submitted a parental insurance claim on 27th july but still i am not getting a proper response from wipro medi assist helpdesk.
    I have tried to call the toll free number[protected], but all the lines were engaged always.

    I have enrolled in this policy when i was working with wipro, but now i have been moved out from there, so i can not directly upload the documents in the wipro portal. Hence, i have sent all my documents to bangalore jp nagar office & got the acknowledgement receipt.in that receipt itself all the documents are present & i told them 3 times via mail, but still they are asking for that again and again and not processing the claim. Even i have sent all the details again via mail as well.

      My father is suffering for kidney issue... I have raised claim since - march 2018... All the documents they require i have submitted but till today no response... Tpa have no responsibility. Doesnt get feedback. I have submitted may month claim till date i have not get any information on their portal... Poor service. No customer service... I have already escalate this to everyone... If. Any body having tpa like this it will never get benefit of customer service...

        Hi Team,

        This is regarding a hospitalisation claim which I have submitted in march 2018, but since then they are misguiding me by asking for extra documents and when I have provided them the documents from the hospital they started ignoring my mails and calls .
        It's more than 5 months but they never gave me any satisfactory response .
        Even when I called on their helpline number multiple times they didn't transferred my calls to the senior persons .
        I do have all the mails and recordings in which I asked them to transfer my call but they never did.
        Initially they asked for some extra documents which I get on constant follow ups from the hospital and when I have submitted those documents they didn't replied on my mails for several days and later on they come to me with an excuse that we can't process this claim as this belongs to last financial year .
        I asked them that it's your fault, you were delaying the process by ignoring my mails and call, I am not responsible for this .
        Please look into this .
        It's very much unprofessional and intolerable.
        I didn't expect this from Medi assist, I never recommend Medi assist and new India assurance to any one .

          I raised couple of claims 17416019 and 17415976 in June 25th and it's been more than 2 and half month. And the status is not changed in medibuddy portal. If you're not willing to process the claim please cancel so that I will consult some lawyer with legal proceedings.

I filed a Reimbursement of 47510 and your app is showing that 20080 is payable but i got msg that approved amount is 5080. Plus never informed that Reports are required withTest receipt and it is not up to the mark. highly dissappointed.

            Please refer to my claim tracking no. Coc00073810 and medi assist id [protected]. As per the india govt postal speed tracking my claim application is received at your kochi office on 0.24.09.2018, but i have been intimated from your office through sms as 07.09.2018. Whenever i had contacted your kochi office through phone [protected], the staff is seen reluctant to give me the status of the processing and even disconnecting the telephone without ready to hear me. I repeatedly asked that lady to give the contact details of manager or any senior officer in charge of claims she had talked very negatively every time. I have of a feel that the behaviour and approach from your office staff is clearly a denial of natural justice to a customer like me who have been took the health insurance policy for a continuous period of 12 years. So it is requested to bestow your personal attention into claim matter and such staffs without any manners may be posted to any other posts having no direct contact with the public, since it will surely affect the reputation of your company.

                spouse maternity claim settlement

                I have submitted my spouse maternity claim documents towards medi assist for reimbursement as par said in mail by medi assit representative. Below documents i have submitted hard copy by courier towards media assist.

                    As per the status on mediassist portal, it seems that the claim h[protected]c001 has been denied.

                    However, i strongly believe and suggest that the claim was very much valid as per the enrolled policy and it has been incorrectly denied.

                    It was a critical medical condition, where there was a serious forehead injury of my 2 year old son which resulted into a huge blood clot in the affected area (Hematoma in medical terms).
                    Post that he was advised by the doctors for immediate admission along with suggested ct scan etc.

                    The ct scan report as well suggested internal skull injury as well.

                    In such a grave situation, how can mediassist deny this all genuine claim.
                    Does mediclaim suggest against doctor's advise to keep patient at home and suggest hospitalization in such critical medical conditions as invalid.

                    When there is an obvious case of serious injury and probability of after effects, how can this be treated as a mere 'day care' condition only.

And tpa deducted all amount of actual expenses (Including operation theater charge) as a proportionate deduction. But as per the policy these expensese are only limited to sum assured.

                          Dear team,

                          I am anil kumar vc and claim id 17703823 submitted through mediassist india pvt limited company which i acquired through corporate company.

                          I have been diagnosed with eye problem and doctor advised me for an ayurvedic treatment for 15 days. I initially contacted mediassist and they told ayurveda treatment will be covered under insurance. Since the hospital which i took the treatment does not provide cashless facility, i opted for reimbursement. I stay in bangalore and the hospital where the treatment is provided is in kerala. I went to kerala and got hospitalized on 27th july 2018 and got discharged on 10th aug 2018. I had to pay a bill of 42, 275 rupees.

                          When i returned to bangalore, i submitted my original medical bills and reports. I tracked the claim id through medibuddy and found the claim got rejected mentioning advice require from insurer. I connected with mediassist team and i was shocked to hear that my treatment was a day care treatment and does not require hospitalization. I spoke to the mediassist team supervisor roshna and explained my concerns who offered a call back within 24 hours after getting connected with the concerned team. Roshna did not even mention who would be concerned team and also the department name who she contacts when i asked for (I don’t know why so much to hide). It’s been 5 days now and nobody from mediassist called me. I called the mediassist toll free number[protected] multiple time but in vain. The toll free number is pathethic. It hardly gets connected.

                          The doctors strictly advised that i should be hospitalized since complete rest to be taken and shouldn’t go outside and avoid dust and sunlight while undergoing treatment. Paying so much of hard earned preminum amount to the insurance company and when there is no benefit does not make any sense. My family is insured with the same insurance company and how do i trust this insurance company. I need to get this sorted out. Please let me know if any details required

During the processing mediassist company asked for some additional documents which we provided within some time and few days after again they requested to provide doctors clarifications on CKD and DM-II illness since when this started.I had submitted that document also and sent one mail where they requested to submit that. Since then whenever we tried to communicate with the mediassist company regarding the status of the claim, they are very reluctant to give us the reply. They told that we will get the update within 1 week or 2 but we didn't receive any mail communication regarding the claim. I called many times and asked escalation matrix but noone provided and told this will process within 5 days.Today again I received one mail from processing team to submit two more documents now but I had already provided doctors clarifications on that as per their mail .If this document was really reeded then why they not asked earlier.
                            One more thing I wanted to add that my total claimed amount is around 59k and for that I have already waisted around 20k to go Lucknow from Delhi to arrange documents.Please it's my request to process my claim as soon as possible.

                              Hi,

                              I have submitted 2 claims from a corporate policy which got rejected citing some reasons. And since then i have been requesting to get the original documents back to an address. The claimwas raised on 26th june and the request for documents was raised on 27th july, with ticket number-4282052.
                              Even after daily followups for 3 months, i have not recieved any response from the team. It was a personal emergency and got no reply despite every call with the customer care numbers and the personal email ids.

                                Dear team,

                                Insurance claim denied by medi assist insurance company
                                Reason: on the perusal of submitted documents claim is for opd bills of holter monitoring. The claim stands denied as per 4.10. Hence we regret for our inability to process the claim.

                                But as per got policy mail not mention this criteria to denied insurance claim as above reason and also talk with our staff person nikita desai and toll free number and they told condition for claim patient admitted hospital 24 hours and after you will claim and we follow condition but denied..
                                Request to please help to getting my claim amt due to employee suffering.

                                    My mother is an artharitis patient and we went to cmcvellore for her treatment. During diagnosis many other problems came up due to which we have to admit her in the hospital. The patient get released on 24th may 2018 from cmc vellore. I have applied for reimbursement claim on the month of june 2018. During the processing mediassist company asked for some additional documents which we provided within one week. Since then whenever we tried to communicate with the mediassist company regarding the status of the claim, they are very reluctant to give us the reply. They told that we will get the update within 1 week or 2 but we didn't receive any mail communication regarding the claim till now. As per the last communication made with the agent of mediassist team, he said that my claim has been forwarded to head office for further opinion.

                                    Desirable solution:
                                    We belong to middle class family and now we are very financially crunched. Please it's my request to approve my claim as soon as possible.

                                      My claim #96626606, has been closed, with an amount total rs. 20000/- not approved mentioning documents not submitted.
                                      Due to emergency was not able to upload docs.
                                      Now the claim is closed.

                                      I do have the necessary documents, and the medibuddy app does not give any option to reopen the claim.

                                      Please help.
