Recently we have submitted the medical bills for the medicine nivolumab with medi assist and we had admitted in hospital due to the some of the side effects may happen after taking this. We had took two injections in the gap of 15 days and its a costly medicine in the hope of medi assist will pay off the amount. But they denied the claim.

    I got admitted for eye surgery in yashoda, secunderabad on 15.05.2018 after i got initial amount approval. After surgery, the hospital submitted for final approval. But reply has not come on the approval. I am held up in the hospital.
    It is frustrating experience. Pl resove speedy redressal.

      The call center support for medi - assist is highly frustrating. I would have called not less than 20 times for an error made by your team. Highly unprofessional behaviour by all your agents. Please have the calls made by me monitored. Its like breaking my head on the wall.
      Firstly your system was incorrectly updated for the policy, the agent asks for the policy document which was shared immediately. Was assured that it will taken up immediately and will receive the revised claim, this was precisely at 3pm, its 11pm still no resolution. The agents put you on long hold and then themselves disconnect.
      Request if this behaviour is read by irdai and some action is taken.
      One we are worried with the patient and then this kind of frustrating and unprofessional behavior by the organization.

        Dear sir/madam,
        I claimed for rs.34237 but received only rs.27840. My claim no is15765775. Firstly they told your medical bill submitted without date and one report is missing. I gave again duplicate report along with the duplicated bill of medicines which was attested by the medical shop. They gave an email that we received your documents and will process soon. But till date, they processed only one claim which was rs.900 the earlier mentioned (The report is missing) but the medical bill of rs.6397 wat not given till date. After several follow up they are just giving me either your claim has settled or in process.
        What type of service is this? After six months they didn't process my claims even not contacted me. If the date was not mentioned in medicine bill this is not my fault this is the fault of the hospital. Further, as per their instruction, i submitted again duplicate bill as they suggested but useless.
        In simple language, i want my money back hope you will consider my plea. Irda.

          Hi mediassist,

          As communicated earlier the normal delivery economy package is 38055 but mediassist has approved only 25800 (Old rate). Also, mediassist has not approved additional day admitted charges inspite of we sending doctors letter regarding the same which is not acceptable and also a lot of inconvenience. I am attaching hospital’s new tariff rate and doctors letter for which patient was admitted for additional days. Please look into it and do the needful on priority.

            Hi mediassist,

            As per conversation with mediassist representative. I informed hospital to send pre-authorisation to mediassist but they denied. Mediassist representative spoke with hospital corporate representative asking them to send pre-authorisation but again hospital corporate representative denied saying they will not accept oral words instead they need a confirmation e-mail sent to [protected]@gmail.com. They say they are refusing as mediassist as denied a lot of baby claims in the past for them. Later your mediassist representative, also said she is helpless as hospital is not sending an e-mail. There is lot of miscommunication, due to which i am facing inconvenience on emergency situation. I do not want any of our employees to go through these kind of situations. Also, a ticket has been raised on the same concern which is 3767246. Please look into it and do the needful.

              My no. Is [protected] and my wife no. Is [protected]. Recently i submitted two opd reimbursement claims i. E., one in respect of self and another in respect of my spouse. One claim of around rs. 3000/-has been settled. But status of another claim of around rs. 2000/- in respect of my spouse is not known though both were submitted on the same day. Kindly look into the matter and settle the same immediately.

                Even after submitting all documents in mail as well as with regestred speed post... I am getting mail to submitt docs. Even i meet jamnagar office.. They are also not able to solve this problem... Even i mailed at banglore and ahmedabad regional head... But they are giving assurance only... I had an accident on 1 st of february... Still not got amount... And surprisingly today i got mail for closure of my claim i'd... Very very very poor service... No one getting on phone on customer care number only cassets playing... No any kind of satisfaction by mail even after more than 100 of mails...
                Can't understand what to do and how to do... I suggest not to invest in this kind of mediclaim services....

                  Medi assist india — claim status in progress since past 4 months
                  I, velassery eassy paul on 20thjan 2018
                  My claim for reimbursement have been received with tracking no. Coc00006559and coc0000560 and the claim status shows in process since past more than 4 months. I have provided all the necessary doccuments with my claim. Whenever i enquire them about the status the only reply i get is we will update/ progress the request in 4 to 5 business working day and then there is no reply after that... This loop is never ending and i do not understand why both claims are stuck.

                    Two claims raised but not yet settled :

                    1. Tracking no. : h[protected] was raised on[protected] for an amount of rs 8, 700/- but it is still showing under "submitted" status.

                    2. Claim no. : 14440438 was raised on[protected] for an amount of rs 1, 16, 369/- but not yet processed & showing "cancelled" status without any discrepancy & information.

                    Its been almost more than 17 months, nothing was done till now inspite of sending all the relevant documents in original.

                      Worst worst worst.. I request to all people.. Dont ever take insurance from this company. Very poor service. They dont update to customers about the claim status, customer care is insolent and unaware of the process. I am a corporate customer of this company but i have asked my organisation to disregard the relationship from mediassist.
                      Very pathetic and poor services.

                            The insurance that i have taken is not being updated by Mediassist. Its been a month i have updated things from my end but nobody cares about responding to me. The insurance doesn't show the correct coverage. I had claimed a cashless but was not given complete payment because of their lack of timeliness. Very bad customer service from the Mediassist end. I had to take loans to pay the money to the hospital. What is the use of Cashless facility by them?????!!!

                              I have talked to mediassist executive about maternity admition of mrs vandnaben bhavsar on[protected]between 8:00am to 9:00am and he has given me this intimation id. But by his mistake he raised intimation for my mother mrs devikaben bhavsar who is 46 years old.
                              How can a person raise a claim of maternity for his mother who is 47 years old?
                              I have complained regarding the issue to medi assist and they given me the tocken no 3446246 and assuered that issue will be resolved within 3-4 working days but it is already 25 days gone from their reply still there is no progress.

                                My claim no is 16631947. I have submitted (Date - 23/03/2018) all the documents & investigation reports in original & discharge diagonosis. But then again they ask for the same. I mail atlst 17/18 times & called 30 times. But nothing had been resolved till date. They never revert back. One week status shows pending next week it shows under processing. Then again show status pending. Kindly escalate the matter to higher official. Even i ask for their docter email id so that i communicate the same but its been almost a week i didnot get any revert mail.

                                    I have submitted reimbursement claim against claim I'd 16790431 on 12apr to your office. But till date I have not not my claim amount. Where as I have got a mail from your end stating that you further need some more paper. In this regard I want to tell I have submitted all the form along with part B form signed by hospital and doctor .in my discharge summary all the detail is given i.e advice for admission . duration of disease and treating doctor.why now you are again asking paper. I think you are harashing old aged patient.i was asking cashless facility at hospital but you people are denied my claim for unsaid reason. No at present I'm in my home town Samastipur Bihar. So i[censored] want further clarification then ask to your tpa Max saket.

I approaced to hospital, hospital refused to provide so, as hospital had already provided all related room bills, medicine, diagonis bills in original.
