[Resolved]  Airtel - Mobile Postpaid Connection SIM Activation — AIRTEL POSTPAID CORPORATE MOBILE CONNECTION – SIM ACTIVATION ENDLESS WAIT

I had purchased a mobile connection # [protected] from Airtel outlet in Vijayanagar, Bangalore on 1st August 2013 by providing all the documents. I was told the address verification would happen next day & SIM would be activated by 5th. However when no one came to verify the address, I contacted the outlet on 6th Aug & I was told that address verification had failed & someone from verification team had called my mobile & that it was not reachable. None of this was true as my current postpaid connection [protected] from airtel also has the same billing address & it was verified 3 yrs back when I got that connection. Also I didnt get any call from verification team either on 2nd or 3rd Aug. The outlet was kind enough to escalate this & arrange for address re-verification at a time of my choice. The next day 7th, the address was verified both at my residence & office. I was expecting the activation to happen on 8th. Since it didnt happen, I called outlet again on 8th evening & I was told this would happen by 9th. Again on 9th it didnt happen & was told that it would be done by the end of 9th Aug. Finally without success in activation, I went to the outlet on 10th & was told that activation would be done anytime of the day & that I would get a call. Since it didnt happen by 7 pm, I went to the outlet again & I was given another SIM [protected][protected] for the same mobile no requested & I was told that it is a technical problem which would be resolved by tuesday 13th Aug. I dont know if this problem would ever get resolved. It has been 10days without any help from airtel.

i purchased a post paid sim with mobile no [protected] on 3rd the tuesday from vasi airtel centre person'name who sold was umesh and hussain
i was told my sim will be activated in 48hrs
after elpase of 48 hrs i daily followed up every day i was told that by midnight it will get activated
on monday they told me photo identity is not clear i again submitted co id, pan card and driving licence
but same story continues
today when i dial that no it is going to someother cutomer
IT IS HEIGHT OF INEFFICIENCY AND A BLOT ON CUSTOMER SERVICE
i might have spend lot of money on petrol during my daily visit
AIRTEL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THIS

We have issued duplicate sim for the same number mentioned above through your representative at our doorstep at 01/02 July 2008 and we requested to activated the sim but after 2 days we inserted the sim in our cell phone then we received the msg "Your Airtel Prepaid no. is in grace period please recharge immediately to enjoy outgoing and incoming facility". If our connection is postpaid then how r we receiving such type of msgs and we are not able to make outgoing and incoming calls. later on Airtel Executive suggested to buy another duplicate sim and we itself went to the outlet and purchased another one but again we are facing the same problem. Its been more than one week but nobody is able to reply us because airtel people also surprised to receive such type of problem. Now you suggest us what to do because this no. is very urgently required.

airtel corp postpaid connection — no activation

my name is SHARATH B R, [protected], i m residing in secunderabad, i applied for prepaid to corporate postpaid around 2 weeks back but still my postpaid sim is not acitiviated .i was given assurance that sim will be activated within 48 hrs ...i enquired about this but did not get any answer that is relevant to this issue.this is really very irresponsible behaviour ..when i called their manager([protected]) this guy is not taking any responsibility he is not ready to talk to me, everyone are pointing to each other ...i wonder how this company works ...

my sim card was blocked then i made a call to ur cust. care n i entered the puk no. that they gave me .it was wrong i suppose n my sim card was rejected .now i was told that if i mark a mail to you my sim would be replaced within 24 hours .

sir i have paid my balance bill fully. till now i have any balance for my mobile post paid no[protected].until this time i havent re- connected.i told many times but till now it was not rectified . i am not expected from such big leading mobile company.
i have launch previous complaint also .god know when it will rectify.

Airtel Post Paid — ACTIVATION WITHOUT REQUEST

I have received sms for activation of gprs and mms on my airtel post paid account, even though i have not requested. On contacting 121 and after going through all the options, the line gets disconnected. I have not been able to lodge a complaint.
I want the GPRS and MMS facility to be discontinued with immediate effect

AirTel — activation of connection

I have changed my postpaid connection into prepaid but after completing all paper work and getting new sim my connection is not activated; after complainting they have given clause that server is down so after a week they have given another new sim but this is not activated after repeat complaint they have issued another i.e second sim to me but my number is still not yet activated that almost two weeks. I think Aietel is having the poorest service I have experienced.

last from 7 months i had been complaing for network inmumbai although my moibile is in romanig from 7 months as i live in nagpur the sim card is purchased from nagpur and it is postpaid bill stil i get complant no. but no resoultion had been found still now already the bill is coming regulary and i am paying before due date i cannot change the number because i had given my airtel cell no to all my family members who is living in the village . my cell no is [protected] from 7 month i am facing the network problem coustomer care give only complaint ref no. later they forget about the complaint which i file regulary after 7 days to 7 days the answer from airtel coustmer care callcenter within 4 to 5 days problem will slove but still the problem had not been solve from 7 months i had pay rs 7000 to 8500 as bill from last 7 months still i am working in mumbai the call centere gives the arrogant answer that how many days will live in mumbai i answered it is my right only you have to give the service these is only one example i am giving you rest i had many arrogant answer is coming from call center whenever i complaint

Airtel Postpaid Connection — Regarding Airtel Postpaid Connection

Dear Sir,

Earlier I had requested to close my Airtel postpaid mobile number [protected] on 29th of November 2008 and after that i had also paid the rest due amount of Rs.523.00 to Airtel on[protected] with ICICI Internet banking. But in the month of January 2009 I have received a bill of Rs.650.46. Then I had registered a complaint in Airtel customer care regarding this. At that time they assured me that this number will be closed and this amount will be reversed. But again today i.e. on[protected] I have received another bill of Rs.1336.48 then again i spoke to the Airtel customer care executive and gave him complete detail regarding this but they answered that I would have to pay the bill of Rs.1336.48.

So i am finding for a proper and reasonable justice, kindly take necessary action on my request as soon as possible.
From your side i am not reciving the bill and th customer care has given fals promises and i paid bill and they said the will wave the late payment and they will sent bill to my mail but till the day it is not happened and yestard night the have bared the line do thing i am fool to pay with out bill wat all u say i am going to take this issue to legal this is not happened to me once it has become for mental torture and i ask for higer officer they say the are not in the seat and i ask for the land line they say they dont have land line in the HO

Thereis one floor supervisor Balaji and customer care David they talk in a very bad way and give all falls promises
