Details and Background of Complaint:

1. My Airtel main account had a balance of approximately 1500/- rs on an around 16th June 2013.
2. Subsequently I have also received an sms alert for GPRS auto renewal within 3 working days on 16th of June 2013 . Please find attached the screen shot as proof .
3. However, the firm has been wrongful deducting my main account balance since then, without alerting me. The same I believe is due to GPRS usage which should be deducted from my GPRS account.
4. I visited the Airtel Main Branch in Vashi on 8th July 2013 and was directed to register my complaint on 999. which having done so, i have still not received my complaint number . After numerous follow ups for more than an hour i finally received a reference number .
5. The Branch Manager finally understood my case and mental harassment/trauma caused by your staff and customer service executives .( e.g : disconnecting calls, not transferring the calls to senior , not registering the issue etc.) and gave the nodal officers number.
6. Attempting to get in touch with the nodal officer on 9th July 2013 was itself another task. Finally having managed the same - i have received the Service Complaint No:[protected] .

I have Registered a complaint with you since i believe many such cases exists wherein the consumer has been wronged and mentally harassed .

I request for the following to be resolved immediately

1. Full refund of approx Rs 1500/- of wrongfully deducted balance + 200% of that value as compensation.

2. Full refund of total cost expended on contacting your customer care executives + 300% of that value as compensation

The same for the inconvenience, trauma and harassment caused by the firm to a loyal customer of over 7years.

Airtel - Mumbai — Wrong commitment given by a dealer

Wrong commitment given by your executive.
I want to change my postpaid plan by keeping same no. & they said yes this is possible & take deposit of 600 Rs. & not giving the branch address. They send me new sim of different no. which is not required
Please refund my deposit as earlist othe i will take strict action against this matter.

Airtel — Wrongfull deduction of 50/- from my phone

I have an Airtel prepaid mobile no. My number is [protected] and I have activated GPRS for Internet. Rs. 10.00 is deducted from my mobile account. But on dtd.[protected] at morning my account balance was 287/- and at same night Airtel deducted Rs. 50/- from my mobile account (10.00 x 5 times) and my balance became Rs. 237/-.
From the day itself, I have tried to contact customer care 121 of Airtel, but didn't succeeded.

Please register my complaing, so that I can get back my 50 /- at my Airtel mobile Account number.

AirTel — Unauthorised deduction

I took a pre-paid SIM card from Air-Tel 2 months back, There was an offer to download one ring tone(song) free. So, I down loaded one song. On balance enquiry I found that a sum of Rs.30 has been deducted from my balance amount. Aferewards I did not down load any tone/ring tone.
To my surprised, I have received a message that a sum of Rs.30/- will be deducted as a rental for next month for downloding song/ring tone.
I dont want down loading any thing but service provider is cheating me repeateatly

The Service Provider Airtel Deducted many time my balance unauthorized. They even not feedback the position & Cause of such deduction.
i have reported the same but no action initiated
both time i recieved a message from 64611099
u have been charged rs 99 for downloading java game
A similar kind situation has happened with me .I do not use my phone on a regular basis and so every time i switch on my phone i find that my money has been deducted because of hello tune .this has happened for the fourth time and i am very fed up .require your help

I have the airtel mumbai's sim. The no is [protected]. the company started a metrimonial service on my sim without my concent. I stoped it by sending a 'stop' message to 54321. after few days they started it again. I stoped it again. On 14/12/2009. I recieved a message that airtel has started the metrimonial service and have charged me Rs 5. for it. When I complained about it they simply refuse to refund. my complaint no is [protected]. If i asume that they did the same thing with all other customers. then this way they illigaly made more than 5 crore (average of 10 lakh customer). in a single second.
CAN ANYBODY DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT......
Airtel is a useless company. Pathetic as far as customer service & problems are concerned. I am using Airtel service since last 4 years & since last 10 days, I am seeing deduction in account balance every 2-3 minutes. I have not requested any service to airtel to be activated on my handset for this. I have raised this issue 4 times in last week but still no one is bothered. One of their useless supervisor, who doesnt have a sense to speak to clients, told me that I am using service on airtel. I kept complaining that I dont need interenet on my handset but no one is responding to my complaint.
I have lost almost 30-40 rupees without any reason or my mistake. Apart from calling & SMS (including a special five offer for just one mobile number) I have not availed any service from Airtel. But still I am losing my account balance by 30paise every 2 minutes. I am unable understand this & am seek of complaining this to customer care executives. They too are as useless as Airtel is. Worst company in telecom sector. It earns money through cheap things like this.

I am an airtel subscriber mob no. [protected] airtel prepaid. I got an sms at 03 may 10, 2320 hrs ''thank you for downloading 20-20 cricket. You have been charged Rs 75'' and deduct Rs 75 from my account but i don't any downloading from airtel. I contact to airtel costomer care executives like mr Sunny, mr Arjun, and mr nihil but any executive were not provide any clarification and said to to mr sunny submit a complaint for this deduction but he didn't submit my complaint.
Sir i am very harassed with this fraud/420. I thought broaken down your sim and purchased a new connection of other providers like vodafone, reliance etc
I want justice for this fraud/420 with costomer i am waiting for your justice and i want return my money.

AirTel — Unauthorised Deduction from Balance

I am a pre paid custome of Airtel in Jodhpur, Rajashtan. Over 300/- Rs have been deducted from my two Nos [protected] and [protected] by way of auto SMS by the company regarding subscription of some offers. These offers were never accepted by me. As a matter of fact I came to know only when all my balance become ZERO on 18/12/10 and I could not make some very important calls.
It also caused so much of tension and mental harrashment on me and therefore I had to register for Do Not Call.
Pls arrange for immediate credit of all my debits till date in my balance.

I already complaint about my parmanent no.[protected] which Airtel-mumbai,they sold my parmanent no to another customer beacause certain time i was in roaming,i didn't use that no..i kept that SIM in my pocket..Airtel took that chunce & they sold my parmanent no[protected] to another customer..I can't understand how they did that incident..Actualy i paid Rs.1000 to get long life facilities that validity upto Dec'2032.Now i fall in big problem because i registered that no:[protected] in NAUKRI.COM,MONSTER.COM,IRCTC.SBI,MAKE MY TRIPS & SO MANY..Can you feel!!

AirTel — unauthorised deduction

I'm P Sreinivasan my no. is [protected]. Rs. 20/- has been deducted from my account on 16/03/2011for subscription of Airtel Radio special offer, for which I didnot subscribe. Again on 21/03/2011 I received a thanking message for choosing astrology service which was also not subscribed. Like this I have lost few hundreds of rupees & have been charged a number if times for various reasons. After these type of messages are received if we contact customer service, there is no response and the call gets cut every time. Like me there are other customers who are suffering. Please justify.

Airtel India — main balance deducted

dear sir

my friends is use airtel for last five years. his numbar is [protected] last day his suddenly his balace is cut after every 20 to 30 secound for 0.30 Rs/-. and he can't talk with airtel customar care officer.what is this nonsence who will paid for this. and i also try today to connect customer care but there are no reply so how can i salw this problem can i go to police case for this.

Airtel Mobile Service — unauthorised deduction from my account

I am using Airtel Mobile Service to my phone Sony Ericson set bearing No.[protected]. Often I find my balance is getting reduced without myself making any call or sending any SMS message. I do no know how it happens. Please kindly find out the fault and see that my balance gets reduced only when I make call from my Mobile phone to any number. I hope you will immediately set right the mistake without causing me any further loss of money and without driving me to take any legal action agaisnt the Airtel Company.

I found AIRTEL service of inferior quality. It is my experience that the company deducts account balance from its customers without any reason and really the company has deducted amount from my account about 3-5 times now when I am trying to contact to a customer care executive I am unable to contact them. Airtel is the worst service provider and the worst company. Also I used connection of AIRCEL, TATA INDICOM but never found any problem.

Airtel automatically actives a service and then makes charges for it.I asked questions to customer care, but he explains that he has recieved activation conformation from my number.And it happens number of times.Though I unsubcribes from there service, but they refuse to refund the money.

It has to bring in your Notice that Recovery agent from your company (Mr.Gurjinder Singh) from Chandigarh (Punjab Circle) is menatlly harrasing my sister and her friends which are Medical Students for the payment due against my Brother Airtel number which was taken in Hyderbada, AP for official use as corporate connection.

As spoke with your agent and done commitment for doing the payment, he still continueous the harrasment.

AirTel — unauthorised deduction of balance

i am having airtel number [protected] post paid connection. i recharged my mobile by Rs.50 through internet banking and got a talk time of Rs.43 and my earlier balance was Rs3.68 . after recharging i made a call to my friend for 43 sec at 4.21pm.i am having 1paise/sec plan. at 5.50pm when i checked my balance which was automatically displaying on my mobile screeni was astonished to see that it is only Rs.1.18. I called up the customer care at 5.55pm and enquired about that where my balance has gone. they told me that the balance has been deducted towards my Hello Tune monthly rental (Rs.30) and for copying the current hello tune song(Rs.15) from my friend mobile whom i had made the call. i asked them that who has activated this service on my mobile as i have never subscribed for this nor I have ever copied the song from my friend mobile. they said that their system shows that i have activated the service.
I want my balance back as i have never applied for hello tune service nor copied any song. the song which is being taled about (ganesh aarti) is even not activated on my frieds mobile then how come i have copied the song. this is cheating on the part of the company and erasing their brand image. this is not at all expectedof the company like airtel and i will get my money refunded at any cost as i am not at fault.
i would like to go to any form and level to get this money of mine back and till the time i donot get my money refunded i will not make any call nor get my number recharged as a protest to this act of company.

AirTel — Unauthorised balance deduction

I received a call from airtel on my no [protected] asking for me to suscribe to a premier service called health tips. It prompted for me to prees some number. I dont want such service activiated and hence kept phone down with speaker phone on without attending the call. the call repeated and got disconnected but at the end the premium service was activated without my conformation and amount was deducted from my account. I immediately deactivated the service and raised a complaint with airtel. Complaint no is [protected].

So far my request has not been attended and no response from airtel at all.
something 2 to 3 months has been passed away but I haven't got my deducted amount yet... this is the best service of AIRTEL...

Airtel Mobile — Non-updating of Account

My Mobile No.[protected]

By its Transaction ID[protected], Air Tel acknowledged the recharge of my account. I find, however, that the balance in my account doesn’t quite reflect it. A day has passed since that recharge, let me add. What ever has happened to that payment? The transaction ID would confirm the payment. Why is it not reflected in the account? I thought a technically-savvy, customer-friendly company ought to update the account –just as promptly -- as it receives a payment into the account.

And any time customer helpline number disconnect my call without full information.
So please take action and return my balance

Dear sir,
Yesterday on 5th of May 2012, I was surprised to see that my prepaid mobile's balance was remained only Rs.43 or so while in morning it was near Rs.343.
It was direct cheating with me by the Airtel. I contacted Airtel customer care and told them that I have activated SMS pack, activated GPRS pack and only two local calls were made by me on that morning. So they should tell me why they have deducted near about 300 rupees during 2-3 hours time. There was no satisfactory answer from them. They told me that they have registered my complaint but till now I am waiting for their reply.
Certainly it is a clear cheating by the company. Because of big amount of money I could know it otherwise possibilities are there that they might cheat us with leser amount and we could not know it.
please direct me what should I do to get the justice, since it is a matter of money along with matter of breaking the faith.

    Without my knowledge an value added services have been activated on my mobile from AT-AIRINF and without my consent the service provider detected Rs. 99/- today. Refund the amount immediately. I do not want such incidents in future, please deactivate all such services.

      Hi,

      I want to complaint about Airtel who have bunch of B******S who are not responding to my e-maila and even they have barred my number so that I can call to any of their representative over phone. I am trying to get a NOC to port my number to some other carrier which is my right and they are troubling me for last 30-40 days to give the NOC. They don't have any standard procedures for this and unnecessarily delaying the NOC although I have furnished all the pre-requisites by them which they have sent over e-mail and after furnishing they denied over call that procedure has been changed.

      Now for last 1 week, I waiting their response to resolve this issue but no one has reached me until today, I have sent multiple e-mails reminders but no one has bothered to call me of sent an e-mail for confirmation.

      There are multiple requests being registered which they have closed without any resolution. Every representative is providing different process and procedures and unnecessarily troubling so that I cannot port my number to another carrier. I have all the written e-mails from Airtel to which they denied. They write something else what they talk over phones.

      Airtel — Not to furnish any details to anyone

      I am Sub-Inspector of Police and I am using your esteem connection for the past 3 years and paying regularly. (No. [protected]. Of late, I am receiving a lot o[censored]nwanted and threatening calls from various persons including public and my colleagues(Police) which will create nuisance and mental agnoy and it will badly affected my routine life.
      It is requested to not to furnish any bill details to anyone including police or cybercrime cell if approached, without my knowledge.
      Please inform all the concerned.

      i am inder bariya, based in mumbai.i had an airtel number ([protected]) which i am using from past 6/7 years then due to some problem like" cut the balance" start any service without any information" n other i did portability to Vodafone.it was march 2011, my number was activate in vodafone, but due to some paper work they barred my number and when i go and ask for the number they told me to wait for three month as per TRAI information and also told me that this number will be allotted by airtel only after 3 month, so i did wait for three month, then when i been to airtel they told we cant gave you this number go to Vodafone and ask for this number, then for entire 2 month i was going to air tel and Vodafone so many time, then finely Vodafone told me they release my number and they send me a confirmation mail also that " we are releasing this number on this date from now after this number will be available with airtel only"
      then i been to airtel " kandiwili west " sv road, center one guy" abhijit([protected]) told me to wait for 2/3 days then came back and then he will surely provide me the same number.. i did wait for 2/3 days then i went back to him then he told me you will get this number in post paid only i say no problem get me this number then he gave me a blank sim card and took all my document and 300/- also and told me to wait for evening for this number to be activate, when i ask for the receipt he told me he is sending my document to his friend " Dinesh shah`s office at Durvish communication " malad west then i call dinesh shah([protected]) and he told me to wait for 3/4 days and he assure me that i will surely get this number back, but from past two days i was trying to call both of them but they are not taking my phone infect the abhijit is telling me that he is left airtel, so i am afraid that to whom i said all this, i am in rajasthan and now both person is not giving me any replay,
      i tried to mail airtel nodel officer so many time but i still didn`t get any response from their side, i call them also but they cut the phone saying you go to lobby, and nothing else,
      alll i want is that number , as it was distributed all over my work and i don`t want to change my number

      AirTel — Not getting any response from Airtel of my complaint

      Heads off to your Airtel customer care service. I haven’t seen such a worst response of customer care.


      An Airtel customer who register a compliant 15 days back. Everyday got a call from your customer care executive explain the same compliant every time to different persons,send lot of mail regarding this but getting no proper response from your side every time your wording were “Sir we will check your issue with our technical team and revert back you within 24 hour” Please explain how long 24 hour will be.

      Every person who will read this mail and if want to get back to me, Please read my problem fist and then come back to me with proper solution otherwise Thanks a lot for your kind service.


      My Complete:

      My DSL number is 4009652 and I am using this connection from June 2009 with 1099 plan. In this plan I was getting 512 kbps up to 100GB after that my speed will reduce to 256 kbps. But suddenly from your side this month some changes have been done on my plan without asking/informing me, now what I come to know that my plan changed into some combo plan in that combo plan, on change in my billing cycle its same 1099 but now I am getting 1 mbps up to 15GB after that 125kbps. I don't want this plane, I need you to revert these changes.

      Can any any buddy explain me this thing that you can change any of customer plans as per your convenience? That means customer is nothing for you.

        AirTel — excessive amount of bill

        Hi,
        With reference to your letter dated 28/03/2010 regarding non-payment of my dues pertaining to Mobile Services A/c: [protected], I would like to inform you some facts which forced me to deny payments.
        Since the day I purchased the data card I have been experiencing a very slow Internet service. I made Number of complains to your data card helpline numbers and I was getting a response that there GPRS team is working on it but I have not seen even a minute difference. please refer complains made by me with numbers and date for your information:
        complain# 2959408 on 25th Nov.2009
        complain# 29721425 on 3rd Dec.2009
        complain# 30117586 on 25th Dec.2009 and
        complain# 30372765 on 9th Jan. 2010
        Your customer support was worthless to help me out and the cost of the Data card worth Rs.2500/- was a financial loss to me and the kind of frustration I was going through, being a customer only I can understand that. Why you have not acted when I was complaining and now you are asking for payment? Check out how much data I used ? I will pay only for the data used and nothing more than that.

        AIRTEL INTERNET — excess bill amount

        i was being charged the DSL charges without my consent since the time i took this connection. 3 4 months back i asked the customer care people to disconnect the DSL charges and deduct the previous DSL charges which i never asked for nor im liable to pay but they dint deduct the charges.

        as a result of this the amount piled up and late fee charges inculcated in such a way that im not liable to pay these charges at all.
        id words with the CCE and she said the amount will be remitted and deducted by this.

        Airtel — Excessive Spam

        To the concerned person,
        I have been an airtel prepaid customer for the past year and a half and am extremely unhappy with the spam I get via smses or phone calls (despite registering for the DND service). Furthermore, everymonth Rs 30 is being cut for some service that I have never subscribed for e.g Airtel Friends Chat service. I merely get an sms saying that the money has been deducted from my balance. Would request you to please unsubscribe me from all such services or I shall be compelled to switch to another service provider as losing money this way every month is unacceptible to me. Looking forward to hearing from you.

          Hi Team,

          Please note my airtel Number : [protected], Account Number : [protected] has been initially activated from month of Dec-12 with monthly package of Rs 99. Now, my monthly package has been changed to Rs.789 for month of May and to Rs.999 for June month. Please note that I have never asked for any such changes and both changed has been done without any prior information or acknowledgement. These changes have been made without my consent. Even after doing several follow up with customer care executives, none of them have been able to solve my problem.I have clearly asked for to generate fresh bill with Rs.99 monthly package several times, which airtel has failed to provide me with till date.

          This is also the reason I am not doing any kind of payment. I request you to please clear my issue asap. I also request you to please accept my disconnection request with this as airtel has given me much of mental agony and harassment which I don't want in my day to day life anymore. Pls be prompt atleast this time.

          AirTel — rental

          Airtel has been deducting Rs.2/-everyday for my rental.is this the new charge ?(which i doubt) or is this company cheating?Kindly look into this.

          They are introducing some rental basis service.That services are automatically charged from customers without confirmation.Somebody are know that service but somebody dont know about that. So airtel should be stop that service definitely because peoples are cheat by that service. For an Ex- Airtel ratio, Airtel Friends Chat etc

          AirTel — about rental of service

          i have activated gprs service on airtel,for 200mb for 3 days &charge for this is 19 rupees,but i have been charged 38 rupees without activating it twice.

          dear sir,
          i am having airtel post paid connection no.[protected] since10 months and took the double delight 249/- basic plan with the bill limit of 800/- in this plan i choose my bill is generated on 18th of every month and this bill payable date is 5th of every month. I pay the bill promptly on 2nd of every month before the occurrence of the due date. Today morning i was surprises and shocked when i intended to make a call from my mobile I was unable get the call and with an intimation that " the outgoing call facility on this number is not available for details please contact customer care".
          when I intended to contact the customer care a computerized announcement " the outgoing call facility on this number is not available for details please contact customer care".

          I want to know why my outgoing calls are barred with out any prior intimation to me and with out any dues from my side.

          I want to know when the un-bill usage amount is just Rs.545/- how my outgoing calls are barred as my limit is for Rs.800/-

          even i made request to the service center to extend my limit to 1200/- the did not respond to my request and bluntly told me that " If want to resume your outgoing services you must have to pay the august bill of Rs.754/- which is payable on or before 5th sept 2011 then only we will resume your outgoing call services.

          In this situation why I should pay next month due date bill in the month of August Itself.

          Due to your mistake , negligence, lack of knowledge about the services i suffered a lot of mental agony even to contact your customer care also i have to depend on the other person mobile

          the other defect from your company services is that messages, net services were also barred along with my outgoing calls.
          I want to know what is your action on that and your action constitutes a deficiency of services and I want to know when you will resume my outgoing calls

          i'm just fed up with your service. once airtel called me and said that he will check upon this and resolve my prob that time i thought that you must be take some action on this. but alas no use. after 6-7 one airtel executive called me and said that my monthly rental has been increased in apl 30th. i denied upon that i have never received any call for this, how can i choose for my 999 monthly rental for my 200-300 rs uses.may be it could be mistaken from your side, it could be possible some of the employee type 999 instead of 99 and becomes a big issue. Airtel company can check on this and resolve it very easily. airtel executive lying to me. i said him to send me that record ( may be call record which i have made for requesting plan or msg request no.)
          on this he said that i have to go to police and make a fir on this, he is not gonna take any action. airtel is issuing me another bill after so many complaints even they are not giving me any complaint no. also. i can never followup for my last complaint because of this. all the time i have to raise a new complaint and funny things is that after listening my complaint they put me for hold and disconnect it after 10 min. once i asked to costumer care to tell me request no.if any request for plan change. but he said there is no data for plan change request. it shows very clearly that i have never request for plan change.
          what type of service airtel company giving to its consumer. instead of resolving problem they are saying to go with legal action. than fine i'll go to file in consumer court for mental harassment.
          after so many follow ups, i got a call fromm airtel executive. I'm totally frustrated with airtel, airtel's executive called and fixed the date and time for today (7th oct- 11am) so that my mother can listen the call recording... when my mother reached there nobody entertain her for 20 min. after 30 min manager ajay pal singh told his executive sahil to play the recording. Mr. Ajay went from office after this. my sahil mother waited there for 2 hours more but Mr. sahil said he couldn't play the recording as outlet's speaker is not working... my mother had to come back.
          my question is what's that mean to call and ask to come if they cant play the recording.
          why they let waited my mom for 2 hour if speakers was not working, they could clearly said it before that you can go back to home.
          nobody is ready to talk pleasantly they are behaving so rude.

          now airtel is giving as mental and physical pressure.

              I was holding Airtel data card internet services with no: [protected] which I had requested them to cancel in the month of Feb 13 as I was unable to use it at all. I called the Airtel customer care and they assured of disconnection. They kept charging after that month and now demand payment of Rs.1766.03 for something which I did not use at all. Everytime I call and ask for the manager, I am given assurance but no call backs till date.
              I am very disturbed with this practice from Airtel. I heard from other colleagues and friends that Airtel does such a practice and keeps harassing its customers.
              I also asked them to check previous calls made but they ignore all such requests.
              I request you to please help me to get a waiver off and clearance from this false charges.
              Please help.

                It is dismal to note the pathetic services by Airtel Broadband.
                1. On 8th July -13 - based on your call from customer service offering Rapid 30 gb -1599 (8mbps/512kbps) combo plan, I HAD CHANGED THE PLAN.
                2. Ever since then I have been facing frequent disconnection of the internet, disturbing my work and mails to my groups.
                3. I had complained to your customer service Mr Hiju on 12/7/13 and reference number 35479660 @10.50 am.
                4. Your technician came found it was working and after some time on observation he found it was disconnecting, he rectified and closed the file the same night
                5. On 13/7/2013 once again the internet started disconnecting, I complained to customer service on 13.07.13 at 12.50pm and reference number is 35538790
                6. A technician came the internet was working and he said the frequent disconnect is due to upgrading to 8mbps speed and copper wire in airtel cable cannot with stand and complaint was kept in observation
                7. After Observation on 15th july I once again revised the plan30gb/1499(4mbps/256kbps) and it was effected
                8. Even after this there are frequent disconnections

                Airtel services is pathetic, they expect customers to beg, they call themselves as Platinum care Services and it seems to be like Rusted iron services. In fact I feel I am being cheated by AIRTEL, between 13th july to this date I am not able to consistently do my work on PC AND WILL airtel REFUND ME THE MONEY Pro-rata.

                AirTel — Airtel service is pathetic

                I have got 2 connections of airtel and i was promised that i will be getting good network. But the network was so bad that when i tried to complain them while i was in my house then the number would not get connected at all. I had to leave the comforts of my house and try to reach them. All the outgoing calls, i had to go out and make calls. Now, for incoming calls, i had no specified time such that i go out and hold my cell phone in air for it to receive the signal. Not that i stay in some remote location. I stay very much in Thane city and have been using vodafone network and reliance network with no problem.
                At the time of connection, i had paid 500 rs deposit for each connection. When i got my first bill, i complained to them saying, i have bad network and i will not make the payments till i get proper network. They said, they knew the problem and that they are working on it. They requested me to pay for the phone calls i have made and not pay the rent. This was repeated for couple of more months.
                But now i am tired of this phone service. Infact i have to provide service to airtel by leaning out of my window and talking to people and risking my life. The so called free incoming calls never reach me and my friends complain saying you are never reachable. And i say, its not me, its Airtel that is never reachable.
                Having said all this, i want Airtel to refund my desposit of 1000 rs (500 rs each connection). They want me to pay the bill that i have received which i dont agree to pay at all. They are asking me to pay for the calls that i have made. Who will compensate for the incoming calls that were free to me but i could never get any of them. Who will compensate for the pain that i have gone through when trying to reach my dear ones (remember the leaning out of window act).
                Having said all this, i would appreciate if airtel tries to improve the service rather than fighting with me on petty amounts which i will never pay to them and instead refund me the money that i have paid to them as i can never ever think of continuing to use this service which has traumatised me to this extent.

                AirTel — Pathetic airtel services

                Airtel should be penalised for their harrowing services to their customers.

                I'm using airtel services from quite some time and they have made my life miserable with their incompetent services.

                From last three months, i'm calling them almost everyday for my problems and instead of resolving my problems they add on new ones.

                My list of the problems:

                1. From last three months i'm not being able to login into the airtel system by using my username and password. Everytime i call them (almost thrice a week), i get a standard reply that their system is under upgradation and within 48 hours i should be able to access. But three months have passed and those 48 hrs are still to get over. Now i'm being told that the upgradation was over on 21st May and still i'm not able to access.

                Now i call them almost thrice every day, they tell me each time that they will reset my password and sms me the new password in 30 mins. but i've never received such sms. I've wasted much of my valuable time in cribbing with Airtel people.

                2. Very often they deacivate the services on their own. For instance, i was going to Malaysia in mid april, i asked them to activate my international roaming. They assured that it will be done within 4 hrs. But 24 hrs passed by and they didn't activate and i was in Malaysia with no connection. My father had to call them incessantly for the whole day and finally it was activated after 36 hrs of my request for international roaming.

                3. After i cam back from Malaysia, they deactivated my ISD calling facility on their own. This time they said that it will be activated within 30 mins, and again they took 20 hrs to activate my services, i had to call them several times, argue with them and send many sms before the ISD Calling was activated.

                4. I recently requested them for Blackberry services. They activated the Blackberry services but deactivated the CLIP facility on their own. It was a herculean task to get the CLIP activated. They took 3 days for this and i had to argue with them many a times.

                5. 3 days ago i had to make an ISD call and i realised that again they have decativated my ISD calling facility. Againg i had to argue with them to have it restored.

                They have made my life miserable, it is so frustating to face such problems. One has to waste time to talk and argue with them. They just have a standard reply ... 'we are sorry for the inconvenience caused' for all our complaints ... which is so artificial

                No one pays any attention to our problems. The worst is that we have to talk to a new person each time and explain our grievances. No senior person is available to register our complaint with.

                AIRTEL call centre is full of incompetent person, they don't even have most of the information and they don't have the service attitude.

                I hope airtel can treat their customers better.

                When i checked out with the customer care, they have clearly said that the sceheme is prorata. As far as i remember the request was made in 1st week of may and I have received a confirmation that the same has been activated.

                At the end of the month, i have received the bill as per the old plan only.
                Whn contacted the customer care, recieved multiple comments.
                while one said that the bill is not prorate, the other said that the bill is prorate.

                Later they said they would clear out the issue in 24 hrs. Now its been more than 5 days. No reply from your end

                I have not yet paid my bill amount as i was waiting for confirmation from your end. Hope you have the courtsey for not billing me any penalty charges in this context

                But I myself don't know that what has been resolved yet, because my connection has not started working till now... Only after too long follow-up, the wiring has been done with no cooperation from your side and still I am on leave for the third day (means loosing my salary continuously only because of you people) and waiting for my connection to start work. Although I am already paying all the bills on time and even paid more than the billed amount a number of times, I am not able to use your services... why is it so???

                I am waiting for the connection to start work and also for you to clarify me on the subject, or I will be forced to take the matter in the competent court of jurisdiction too...

He said that his colleagues will come and shift the connection to my house (at new address) within half an hour. After waiting for him and his colleagues for nearly 2 hours, I left the house for the doctor, as I was hurt in my right leg.

                Then I got his call after more than two hours and he said that his colleague was waiting for me near the landmark given by me. I told him that I was at the clinic and will be back in about half an hour. He said that they will wait for me. In nearly 25 minutes, I was at the landmark decided earlier, but no one from Airtel was present there.

                I again called Mr Ravinder. He informed me that they will reach to my place within half an hour.

                In the meantime, I made vigorous follow-up with Mr Ravinder and every time he said that they will reach to my place within 10-15 minutes, , , , but that time never came till now...

                Finally, I called Mr Ravinder at 7:00 pm and he straightly said that the connection will not be shifted today in any case, as he was lacking with the number of colleagues.

                BUT THIS IS NOT MY FAULT IF AIRTEL DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF STAFFS, AND THE MATTER CAN EASILY GO TO THE CONSUMER FORUM... WHICH I THINK THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN IN FRONT OF THE COURT...

                I am attaching the recorded talk in between me and Mr Ravinder and request you to kindly clarify me clearly that what is going to be done from your side now in my case (please call on my mobile number given below only), because harassing a customer, who is always paying the bills in time, is really very much unfortunate and it seems that Airtel is now neglecting those customers, who really pay the bill in time and have no issues with Airtel. Please go through the attached recorded file and decide yourself where a customer is wrong or your service or executives are harassing the customers!!!

                Because of your negligence, I am undergoing heavy losses and everyday my rental for the Airtel Broadband is being wasted... not only this, my earnings are also on a halt... only because of you people...

                I feel that Airtel wants the customers to go to the court, , , so please be informed that if I am not wrong on my front, then why should I hesitate to take the issue in front of the court???

                i am holding a land line air tel connection at my residence, at Bangalore, Karnataka, with telephone no. [protected]. Presently I am at Australia and calling the home, Since two days the home phone is not accepting the isd calls, and working for other calls. Please attend.

                Airtel — pathetic service provided by the company

                i am from mumbai i might have complaint about this many times but no response is been taken till now. i am not able to speak to the customercare.they say that your account is being deducted because u have activated something. when i ask for more information they just disconnect. i am not understanding what to do. i think i would have to lodge a complaint against the company in the consumer forum or otherwise just solve my query as quickly as possible.my mobile no is [protected].

                I had airtel corporate connection. when I lost my mobile, , i requested to disconnect the connection.

                They have promised me that within 7 working days the connection will be disconnected. My bills were paid by ECS facility.

                But, after 2 months are also they have not disconnected the line and my ECS was getting deducted of the bill, which was not used by me.

                Then, i thought atleast let me block the outgoing calls and called the customer care people to block the outgoing calls.And also, i had set an transaction password for all my transaction. Inspite of that, whoever had stolen was able to release the outgoing calls and use it. SO MUCH OF SECURITY.

                Who is releasing these sensitive customer data? Is the system does not take care of all these things? how secure the customer's personal information, which is provided to this service provider?

                After calling the customer care a lots of time, one of the customer representative has promised that the amount deducted from my account after the 7th day of my cancellation request would be refunded back to me.

                But till now, no response for anyone. For no reason i had paid the bill for 3 months for the stolen number. and i really dont know whom should i contact for this issue.

                Even i faced the same problem. when i lost my number, i raised the request for cancellation. But they have disconnected line also and ECS also. Even mine was corporate connection.

                After 3 months of struggling with them, atlast i blasted one of the customer representative. It took approx. 1 to 1 1/2 hours transfering call from one to another department. Then they promised me that they will disconnect it in 24 hours and disconnected it.

                But, I did not get any refund for the ECS they deducted from my account. I think, better even you have to forget about that money :(
                Its better you should stop using this service provider. Now a days, almost all the airtel customer arr facing with one or the other issue.

                I was holding 2 airtel numbers viz [protected] & [protected] on my name ( Utsav Kiran Dutta).
                I had logged a request for permanent disconnection of both the mentioned numbers in 2007 but the same was never done.

                On Both the Numbers, Airtel was continously sending me bills eventhough i had put the request long back.
                Also on both the numbers Full & Final Settlement was done, Even though then i was receving calls from Airtel Advocates threatening me of Court Orders & Nasty Messages.

                I dont understand even when the Full & Final Settlement was done once why Airtel was stupid enough to call me & Bug me.
                Even Airtel Advocates threatened of sending my VISA cancellation request to Indonesian Embassy which was totally unfair.
                I had to come from Indonesia to India on my expenses to go personally to Airtel Outlet.

                As i talked to the Airtel representative there it was noticed that both numbers were active.

                I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND THAT IF ON BOTH NUMBERS Full & Final Settlement Was Done, How can Airtel keep it Active and continue sending Bills.

                Think so Airtel is running a nasty gang to snatch money instead of a Telecom Company.

                I have a prepaid connection of Airtel. I reside in Pune. From almost past 2 months there is no netwrok coverage inour office premises. Also if there is a network coverage call does not get connected. Well in such a case the cell almost of no use. I have already launched a complaint in nearby airtel gallery but of no use. What should be done in such a condition? Why should bear the consiquences? Seriouly very pathetic service!!

                Airtel — deactivation despite payment

                I have made a payment of Rs 2500 vide receipt NO 22 on 27.01.2009 at Bangalore Residency Road AirTel Showroom but my line is still to be activated. .Despite repeated phone calls to customer care nobody is in a position to care for a customer and they tell whatever they feel like. When I contacted a senior officer after great difficulty, she said AIRTEL do not have any office in Bangalore and Chennai Numbers cannot be paid at Bangalore. . It clearly indicated inefficiency on the part of the senior staff and if that is the case how do they encourage collection centre at other places officially. we suffer due to inefficiency on the part of AIRTE:L Staff and they want us to fax/scan receipt copies and send it to them.

                AirTel — Pathetic Service By Airtel.

                I got free airtel sim card whose number is [protected] on the name of Santosh Kumar Dubey on purchase of mobile from planetm thane (w). I have recharged it with 50 rs coupon on which i get airtel to airtel 100 rs talk time and 50 rs other talk time.apart from that i have recharged with 10 rs coupon.
                After 2 week it get activated any how by Airtel after long argument.As soon it get activated i found that
                15 rs deducted for gprs where as i have not send any sms to them.When i complaint for the same they refund the amount. Later i send sms to activate GPRS which they activate immediatly but they send me wrong sms no for MO setting request on which i tried for an hour but not able to send the sms. Finally i raise request on customer care and told them the situation.He told me that if i am not able to recieve request within an hour they will refund the amount. I did not recieve mo setting after 24 hrs and they did not refund also. and also they block my customer care service and outgoing free sms to costomer care.
                On calling 999 from airtel gallery, and too much argument they refund the amount. After 2 day again i send sms to acitvate GPRS which they activate but they block the airtel dial up connection. I send deactivate SMS on same night. and raise complaint [[protected]] on 1 feb 2009 on which no action has been taken till now and they deduct all my balance from my account.
                I don't know how airtel service is still running based on this service.Strange!!!
                The type of cheat is still being done by Air tel.i am sekar from chennai and my mobile no is [protected] .i charged with the booster pack of Rs 123 and the information provided in the IVR system was the booster has 3000 free sms.but when sms was sent it is being charged .when contacted it was informed that 3000 free sms had been removed already.all the dealers also selling the booster that 3000 free sms facility is existing.if free sms was not there i would have opted for booster Rs97.Rs 26 was swindled by Airtel .hoping to take up the issue with consumer forum soon.
                One day I got an sms requesting me to contact Agarwal Info, Chennai if in case I need Airtel broadband connection. Guess it is a franchise of Airtel. The following were the nos mentioned in the sms:

He asked for my address to check the feasiblity in my area as I resided in sholinganalur, Chennai. After an hour I got a call back from him stating me that it is possible for Airtel broadband connection at my home. He requested me to pay a sum of 500Rs to the marketing guy named Magesh. His mobile no. is [protected]. He got my photograph, 570 Rs from me and promised i will get the connection in 4 days time. Then 5th day I called him. He told me to talk with a guy named Krishnakumar who is also an employee of Agarwal info. His mobile no. is [protected]. He didnt respond properly. Every day I used to call him. He was jeep on dragging day by day. Then after 3 weeks time he told me to talk with his manager named Baskar. His mobile no. is [protected]. This guy checked with other team and told me that my house is 95M away from the dp box and it is not possible for them to give connection.
                I asked him why the hell they checked for the feasiblity and got 570 Rs from me. He apologised and told that i can be moved to cancelation and I will be getting my money back in 10 days. Yesterday, suddenly Airtel people came to my home for installation. I called baskar why he told that it was not possible previiously. He again apologised and told that his team has achieved the target for the previous month. So, moved my application to next month. So, whatever these people said was not true. They are very big frauds. If you want to get a Airtel broadband connection please go to Airtel showroom direcly rather than going to franshise like Agarwal Info. Because of Agarwal Info., Airtel's name is getting spoiled though they provide good service. Now I go with TATA INDICOM.
                Those people are not ready to cancel my connection too. Now my moeny is in vain. Could you please help me in getting the money back. In this world of recession 570 bugs is really a big money for me.

                i have got my post paid number disconnected and even after that they have deducted 2 ECS from my account and now shamelessly they are blaming it to their franchisee and every other things in the world, but they are not ready to repay the money.                 Airtel customer care is pathetic! The process are not so in place and as a result interacting with the cutsomer care can be mentally and emotionally draining!
                for one problem 8 different people call you asking you for the same information. They note down wrong information in their database, wrong phone numbers and if they say they give you appointment for today in their database they would update it for tomorrow!
                Disgusted totally!!...
                They goo[censored]p even the smallest of the requests and then you end up calling them up following up with them like a hundred times.

                Nobody takes ownership and keeps transfering calls saying it is not the concerned departments.

                Please improve your processes and make your customer's life simple.

                Airtel mobile services are the most pathetic services I have ever experienced….. I have converted my corporate connection to a personal connection ([protected])in last week in June and by giving all the required documents . after confirming that all the documentation and verification is over and there will be no issues they first disconnected my number in first 3 days and then when my ex company employees spoke to to the higher authorities, the same was started again . I was very skeptical about using the same no but still I though that they have confirmed so there should be no issues in future . I also paid all the unbilled amount well in advance to avoid any surprises…. As I am traveling most of the times ….today in the afternoon again I got to know that, my cell was disconnected with out informing me ….or even sending an sms . after numerous tries I got thru the postpaid call center and they told me that the system is migrated and hence they do not have any info on my account …..i had to send some one to visit the showroom personally to check as I had no medium of communication and I get to know after 1 hr being there that thre is some issue with transfer … god know how the airtel is functioning …it is ridiculous ….if airtel customer care ppl have any answer to this then call me on [protected] or [protected]@gmail.com

                I am Kumar.k[Illiterate about your postpaid service]. My airtel number is [protected]. I have been using airtel more than 3 yrs. Before 6 months, I have changed my connection from prepaid to postpaid services in the same number. In this postpaid connection I have been faced a lot of service problems, which I mentioned below.
                I paid Rs.300 as deposit. Ambathur Relationship centre agreed the following the statements while taking the connection.
                1> Pay Rs. 300 as deposit which will be refunded from your fourth month bill.
                2> If You wish, you can again migrate from postpaid to prepaid, without any migration fee, but it is applicable only after 3-months usage of your postpaid connection.
                I choosen the plan name ”polarish-corp” which is a corporate connection. For this Ambathur Relationship centre given the following details.
                1> Monthly 600-min free for any mobile, except roaming calls
                2> 5000-local sms free.
                3> You will be getting service tax of 10.36%
                They didn’t tell that anything about credit-limit details. I have taken the connection in Aug month, after ten days Outgoing calls and message sent facility has been blocked. I made a call to customer care, those people gave the following information
                1> Once your unbilled amount cross your credit limit means, your connection will be barred.
                2> To overcome this barrier, you have to pay the unbilled amount totally, this amount will be minus from the sub-sequent months.
                3> Otherwise, once your bill generated pay the billed amount, connection will be activated.
                4> Your credit limit initially is Rs.1200, will be increased based on your usage.
                You just think one think, if your AIRTEL service given me free sms of 5000 means, on daily basis minum I can sent 200 sms, so my billed amount will be Rs.200 per day. If I sent 1200-sms in 10-days means obviously my credit limited will reach Rs.1200. So as per your scheme I need to use your service only for 10-days in a month of 30-days.
                And then I need pay the rent for the remaining days which I didn’t use for any calls and any sms.
                So for 10-days service I have to make 300 right?. If you have strict scheme that should not cross credit limit menas either you need to collect that mount as deposit in the beginning or you have inform while taking the connection for the uninterrupted service. You people are working in such a brilliant and diplomatic way.
                THEN,
                I took the connection on aug’05. My connection barred after 12-days from aug’05, probably aug-20. As I informed above, as per customer care people conversation, I was waiting for my bill generation that is on sep-05. The bill was not generated at the particular time period.
                Again I called the customer care, again they are saying, there is a process updation going on, it will be rectified only after sep-12. Sorry we are helpless.
                Finally bill generated, I didn’t receive hotcopy of the bill. Calling to cus care, they are giving bla bla bla reasons which is not at all acceptable. By raising complaint, talking, talking, talking to cus care, I got the bill after due date of that particular month.
                FOR THAT I NEED TO PAY THE BILL BEFORE DUE DATE. How do you people expect me to pay the bill on time for this worst service especially the service with AMBATHUR RELATIONSHIP CENTRE.
                IN AMBATHUR RELATIONSHIP CENTRE I paid Rs.600 as cash, those people[Ms. shakila] said connection will be activated within 4-Hours of the payment. But not, I called to the number in that bill, he said that sorry sir, that is wrong information. Customer care people saying credit card payment is accepted, in relationship centre they are saying card payment not accepted.
                WHY THERE IS A KNOWLEDGE GAP BETWEEN CUSTOMER CARE AND RELATIONSHIP CENTRE PEOPLES.

For both the month payments you people called me, I said that please comeback with me deposit deduction of by bill, why you people not detecting the deposit which you agreed while taking the connection. So many people called me, I told the same to everyone. BUT NOT ONE CAMEBACK WITH THE DETAIL. Connection barred probably, on November 12. It shows that “SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED”. While try the call my number is “THE NUMBER YOU HAVE CALLED DOES NOT EXIST”.
                I gone to AMBATHUR RELATIONSHIP CENTRE to make onemonth payment on 23-nov-2009. Those people said that “YOU HAVE TO PAY THE TWO MONTHS BILL, THEN ONLY YOUR CONNECTION WILL BE ACTIVATED AND AS YOUR REGISTRATION FAILED YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED ANY RENT FOR THESE REGISTRATION FAILED PERIOD” As I have two more days to pay my nov-bill, those people didn’t accept the oct’month bill Why is it So?

                I wish to inform you that I have given a request for conversion of my prepaid mobile no. [protected] into Postpaid on January 3, 2010 and paid the requisite fee (plan 998 Advance Rental) alongwith Application Form as well as Photo ID (Driving License), Address Proof (Airtel Landline Bill) & passport size photograph at Airtel Showroom at Dilshad Colony E-Block. My services got activated on 4th January 2010. Kindly note the following treatment which I have been getting till date:



                9th January 2010: Got an SMS from AD-SERVICE to submit my documents to the nearest Airtel Showroom.



                10th January 2010: Got an SMS from AD-SERVICE to submit my documents to the nearest Airtel Showroom.



                12th January 2010: Got a Call from Airtel to submit the documents otherwise services will be barred.



                13th January 2010: I contacted Airtel Showroom in Dilshad Colony and submitted the documents again and got the assurance that the
                services will not be barred.


                14th January 2010: MY OUTGOING CALLS WERE BARRED



                15th January 2010: Given a complaint to Customer Care for the same and got the Ref. No. 30435704 with an assurance that the same will
                be resolved by 19th January 2010.


                18th January 2010: Got a call / SMS from Airtel and asking for my outstanding dues on a number [protected] which I was carrying in
                2007 and surrendered in October 2007.


                18th January 2010: Gave a call to customer care asking for details of the amount of Rs.1569/- as I have already paid all the dues in 2007
                itself and after that got Landline and other postpaid connection in 2009.


                19th January 2010: My incoming calls and outgoing calls were barred due to non-receipt of application form called customer care and asking
                for the reason and got only Ref No. F[protected] to get a call in 2 hours time.




                19th January 2010: After two hours again called Customer Care and got another Ref No. F[protected] to get a call in 2 hours time.





                19th January 2010: I had to pay an amount of Rs.1560/- without even knowing the details as I was blackmailed by AIRTEL.



                19th January 2010: Given a complaint to Customer care for the same and my services were resumed. No. F[protected].



                20th January 2010: While roaming to Jaipur got a call from Airtel Showroom that my form has been rejected due to signature mismatch on Driving License (issued in 2001).



                21st January 2010: Contacted Customer care and asking to give me one pretty reason why I am suffering with all these issues and got a ref. No. 30525977 and a call back assurance ref no.[protected].



                21st January 2010: Contacted Airtel Showroom submitted all the documents 3rd time and fill the Application Form again.



                21st January 2010: Got a Call from Mr. Sartaz who were not even polite and ask about my problem and I had to sing a song for him again. He just gave me an assurance that the same will be resuming in due course of time.



                Could you please give me one pretty reason?



                Ø WHY A COMPANY WHO CLAIMS TO BE NUMBER ONE doing these kinds of things with a prominent customer?

                Ø On what basis you have asked for outstanding dues of Rs.1569/- related to 2007 even after 3 years?

                Ø Why you have not sent any reminder in last three years or when I have applied for other postpaid number / landline number as I am residing there for last 7 years?



                Kindly solve this issue and refund my 1560/- immediately or provide me the details of the outstanding at once otherwise I will be in constraint to lodge a complaint against AIRTEL in consumer court.

                Airtel Mobile — Frequent disconnects

                Airtel has disconnected my service and reconnected 4 times in last 5 weeks for address verfication. Everytime they say it would be the last time and then a few days later they disconnect again. Their support and technology infrastructure is very poor compared to other providers. Stay away from these guys.

                Vodafone — Network Complaint is not fixed in more than 7 months

                There are following three complaints.
                1> The network in my locality is very bad. I am facing the problem of call drops and poor voice clarity. After filling so many complaint with Vodafone the network issue is not yet fixed. Here are the list of complaints made since Nov 2009.

                THE MOST PATHETIC THING ON PART OF AIRTEL .







                I had visited their Customer Relationship Center situated in Dwarka, Sector:4, on , 20/07/10 and placed a request that I want to convert my Regular Connection into a prepaid connection & the response given to me was that we are out of stock of prepaid sim cards from last 15 Days & for another 15 Days they will not be available. I was realy shocked by this response of Airtel executive. The more worst thing is that after this I called at the customer Care Number of Airtel ( 121 ) on 20/07/10 itself & lodged a complaint about this with them.



                A Service Request Number: 33225030, was given to me & it was told to me that Airtel will get back to me by 22/07/10, along with a solution for my complaint. But even on 22/07/10, nothing happened & the executives of a so called reputed company Airtel, even don’t have a curtsey to even call me.



                On, 22/07/10, I called at their Customer Care No( 121) again for the same & instead of apologizing their executive simply told me that the all he can do is that He can take my complaint again & He simply gave me a another Service Request No:33260503. But even after my 2 Requests, till now ( On 23/07/10), nothing have happened yet & no one from Airtel’s side have contacted me yet. This is really pathetic on part of a so called reputed company Airtel.







                Now I request the concerned authorities to kindly look into the matter & provide me a solution & please don’t force me to knock the doors of the Media & the consumer court for the same.

                I have been enjoying the services of Airtel Broadband and Landline for last 3-4 years. My due date for renewal is 18th March 2011. I was informed that the old unlimited prepaid plans have been discontinued and now I am under new plan of Rs.2000 per mont. This is against the law without asking / telling me this is done and they will come for recovery of dues which is never done by me. I have sent them a mail today i.e. 16th March 2011 for discontinuence of both the services i.e. Broadband and fixed line.

                Airtel Broadband — Broadband never works

                I have an Airtel Broadband connection alongwith a landline telephone. We had made an advance payment for a year to use the broadband connection. Since the last 2 months the internet is not working. I lodged a complaint and their engineer visited our premises and got the connection working asking us not to switch off the computer for atleast and hour. We followed the instructions given to us. Next day onwards it stopped again. A few days later we registered another complain. Surprisingly this complain was closed even without a visit siting that there is a problem in the internal wiring. How could they reach to a conclusion that there is a problem in the internal wiring without even checking it? I filed another complain and the service engineer arrived to check. They worked for about 2 hours and said that they changed the wiring. It worked for one more day and then died again.
                Finally I was fed up with the kind of service provided to me and decided to get rid of the connection and terminate it. I visited the Airtel office and filled in the form for disconnection. I ask for the refund of the balance amount which they have with them which they bluntly refused to refund stating that its not their policy to refund.
                Airtel is incompetent to provide services for which we applied for and paid as well in advance. This is daylight robbery. Nowhere were we told that in case if we pay in advance and plan to terminate the services we would not be getting the refund. Their not refunding the payment made against delivery of a promised service, which was not provided and which is not wanted, is tantamount to unfair practice and breach of contract. Also, I had applied for a disconnection on 14/05/2011 for which I received an SMS stating that my query will be processed by 01/07/2011. Are these guys a bunch of ? Does it take them 1.5 months to disconnect a connection?
                I am approaching the Consumer Court and file a case against them for cheating customers.

                My Phone Line is not working from last 03 months. My Complaint no. is 43632248,
                Phone is on the name of Kuldip Nath. I have given the request for disconnection
                on 15 April 2011. For this you have given me a new reference no. 1448562. Now
                you have raised a bill in favor of me. I just want to know that why this bill
                raised when i have already disconnect the phone. Why should we pay this bill as phone line is not working from last 3 months and i have already disconnect this number from my side.

                I don't know how much time Airtel People will take to disconnect my connection and cancel the bill for the amount of Rs.668/-.
                Not sorted out yet.
                My issue has not been resolved yet. Still i have got

                I've sent lots of complaint to Airtel for my Landline No.[protected]. The no. is dead since last two months and I'm loosing my business because of this.

                Spidigo Broadband & Internet Service — Pathetic Service

                Respected Sir,

                In spite of lots of Complaints registered with the Company, they people are unable to resolve my problems regarding non-functioning of Internet service, they people have taken advanced money/bill/charges from me for the service as per their plan. I have paid rs. 4000/- for six months. I am really exhausted by calling them to resolve my problem, this is what a common man has to suffer.

                I beg you sir to help me out to resolve this matter so as stop this foolish making service providers who are just doing for the sack of their benefits.

                I have also contacted them through no. of emails, and also by intimating to consumer forum gujarat.

                This is Anand my Airtel Number is ([protected] in name of Shive Kumar Rastogi) and i have suffering from Airtel's pathetic services from July 2011, Fixed line and broadband both are not working from 1st july 2011, I raised several service request but but never got the resolution, finally I raised the cancellation request 25th july 2011 which was forwarded to retention team. on 28th july 2011 retention team executive Sandeep (mob. no. [protected]) visited and convinced me to continue the no. and also promised for visit of engineer to fix the problem and also offered other plan for which I agreed and gave my consent., but as on today 5th aug 2011 neither the engineer has visited to fix the problem and also not getting proper response from customer care, the technical request no 1542044 already closed without resolving the same.
                what the hell with your services its really horrible and IRRITATING. Every month there is a issue....

                AirTel — Pathetic handling of services

                Around first week of July, 2011, I had raised a service request for transferring my AIRTEL fixed line (and broadband) connection to my new address. Both the houses (old and new houses) are within the same compount just few meters away. Till today (September 20th, 2011), no action has been taken in this regards. Forget action, nobody from the backend department or customer care even bothered to call me up and enquire.

                This even after making umpteen calls to the Customer care (around 7 service requests) and even some mails to [protected]@airtel.in

                And funny thing they are sending me monthly bills and enquiring about when I'll pay them. Actually I should be getting the compensation for all the follow ups, inconvenience and agony caused to me & my family. CONSUMER COURT???

                Airtel — deactivation of broadband service, despite having made the payment

                Hi,

                My Airtel Landline & Broadband connection has been deactivated since Aug-11, despite having made an online payment. The amount is already debited from my account and reflects on my statement and i've also double-checked with my Bank. Even though I've sent a mail to Airtel with the Statement attached and also making repeated calls to Airtel Customer care (121 &198), speaking to several Escalation Managers - there has been no permanent resolution yet. Each time, my service gets activated (after speaking to Second level Escalation manager) and then the next day gets deactivated again. This has been happening since Sep-11. I tried to reach the Nodal Manager, but no one responded on that number. Finally, out of sheer frustration, I went to their Office and told them I wanted to speak to their Nodal Manager. They told me that he is not available. However, they did reactivate my Broadband connection but my Phone line was yet to be activated.

                The Customer service is extremely pathetic. It seems that nobody knows how to resolve this issue. Could someone please help me out with this?

                Airtel — landline and broadband services down for 16 days

                Airtel,

                With reference to the landline number [protected] I would like o bring to your notice that while service to this number was disrupted since 14 November no efforts has been made in restoring the line.

                Having waited I choose to disconnect and cancel this number and Airtel is implying via email that I might have to pay even for the period the phone was out of order. Kindly let me know the procedure in not letting this happen and holding Airtel accountable for their actions.

                Airtel Broadband ahmedabad — Regarding Airtel internet connection

                We are facing issue of internet connection since 10days and registered our complain 3-4 times in customer care. Also vistied nearest Airtel broardband service center. No one came to office to check and test. We have lot of workload and due to internet issue we couldnt deliver our work and lost our job.

                Bharti Airtel — Troublesome and Pathetic customer service

                In August 2011 we called customer care regarding shifting of house and telephone services and we were told that it will be done in 7 days. After 13 days still no call so we called again and they ensured us that it will be done in 2 days. After 2 days still no call so we called and requested a disconnection of service. This was noted on the 8th of September by the operator and were ensured that it will be done in 3 days. We left the house and moved elsewhere and decided to take Air tel services in the new house and immediately an agent showed and money was paid but no connection even after 7 days. We then changed to a different provider.
                The calls from the call centers keep coming in for payment when we have not even been using their services since September 2011 and these calls have not stopped till date. We are tired of explaining that we are no longer their customers and to please check their records and stop calling us. We speak to so many operators that we might have explained it to all present in the office.
                This has got to stop as its becoming a mental torture and affecting our lives.

                AirTel — No Network and Pathetic Customer Service

                I have written to Airtel first in Nov 2011 about a Network Issue. I pleaded with them, sometimes got frustrated and shouted at them, requested them, and tried all possible ways of getting the issue resolved. What did AIRTEL give me... only FALSE PROMISES over the last 4 months now... Not one person from Top to Bottom of the entire Airtel Organization has been able to resolve my issue. They are playing around with me just because I have been patient for so long. Just imagine, without paying the bills for so long, they have harassed me and my wife and at least 100 other people around whitefield by not resolving this issue, we have been going through this for I cant remember how many months and before that I have even paid all my bills on time. Now, if I had paid my bills, I am sure they would not even bothered about looking at this issue because AIRTEL IS GETTING WHAT IT NEEDS FROM CUSTOMERS..... the money which they dont deserve to get paid.

                In India we talk about raising concerns and talk about taking action against all those who falter but who is taking this complaint and taking action against AIRTEL... NOT ONE PERSON!!! ALL OF THEM are only worried about how much more money they will make. I consider this money as extortion money and illegal wealth that AIRTEL IS BUILDING because they dont have the right to even claim this from customers if they dont provide the service they promise.

                I have long email trails and not a single person from AIRTEL HAS BEEN ABLE TO HELP ME WITH MY ISSUE WHICH HAS BEEN PENDING FOR MORE THAN 125 DAYS NOW! IS THERE ANYONE LISTENING?????????????

                Airtel Broadband — Pathetic service in new connection

                Dear Sir,

                This is to complain about the poor service from the Airtel side. As we have applied for the new broadband connection from Airtel we have approached a person named Nani in KPHB coloy, Hyderabad (his Mobile number [protected]). And with in 2 days a technician came (Dont remember the name but mobile number [protected])along with him and gave the wire and took the whole installation charges. However its been nearly one week since we gave the amount, they wont give any update and they are very rude in answering. After calling them hundreds of times they will pick the call and say that they will come by evening. This is been the case for the past 3-4 days. Airtel is being one of the top Indian internet/mobile service provider , this shouldnt be the way to respond to its customers. We have also reached out to their customer care and they said they will check the status and gave a reference number 16699220.They speak only to complete their shift for the day as always they say that they will take appropriate action.
                This is a pathetic show from Airtel. Is there any way we can get the service from them or get the refund from them?

                I sincerely advice to fellow customers (atleast in KPHB region) not to go with Airtel broadband as the guys are very rude and you will pay for choosing airtel.

                Airtel — All transaction blocked due to system upgrade

                My Mobile Account Balance [protected] turned 0 on 8th June before 10:00 AM. I tried recharging it online via an online portal. The balance was not credited although the amount got deducted.

                I called customer care [protected] where in a representative picked up a call and asked me all the details regarding the transaction to register a complaint. Also, I was informed that I would receive a complaint number after the call, which never happened.

                Thinking maybe this was a false transaction, I tried again for another rechar04342ge this time from airtel portal. Same thing happened here too . I called customer care again and enquired for the previous complaint but the previous complaint was not registered.

                I told the representative to transfer the call to his supervisor which he eventually did but the great supervisor disconnected the call after speaking for few seconds.

                I asked my brother to do an easy recharge in a hope that my phone will get some balance. Here too the same issue. This time I received a message saying the easy recharge transaction has failed.

                I again called the customer care, this time he logged a complaint with # CONRC[protected] I asked for it before disconnecting the call but still not sure if it’s a correct complaint number). As expected, the complaint no. is still not received via sms.

                I asked him how can I get my phone recharged today and the answer was “we will resolve this issue by 13th June 2012 before 10:00 AM.”

                The amount deducted is in process to be returned to the bank but even till today my issue is not resolved. I cannot recharge my phone through any means and also my balance has been turned to zero so i cannot even port out to other network. An airtel representative from Delhi is in contact with me to resolve the issue but even after 6 days there is no success.

                The customer service department is not helping me out for MNP. Please help

                  I have taken the corporate plan from Airtel and my number got activated on June 28,2013. At that time I was told by one of the Airtel representative that internet usage will be absolutely free for one month’s time. And now I have been charged approx. Rs 600 for internet usage. And the bill has been generated of approx. Rs. 724.42 only for 7 days till July 4,2013. And I am not at all liable to pay this amount as the fault is from Airtel...

                    Please be informed that I had received a call from your executive ([protected] – Bhaumik), he tried to assure that it will take 90days to resolve the issue (which is totally not acceptable).
                    Other serious issue I need to highlight is that there is some tweaking in the system done by Airtel.
                    My complaint Request No. 38483126, Dated. 14.07.2011 is now said to be invalid and that I have logged complaint only once in last 3 years which is a false.
                    I believe that complaints are deleted without trace if there isn’t any solution in place. A higher probe is required immediately.

                    With reference to appended communication below, Please be informed that inside my residence (actually whole complex premises), signal is literally 0 (zero). I need to come out of my complex to get some signal (2/7) with which I could manage the outgoing calls. There is no incoming at all when at home. I lost some important communication (serious illness / death) also because of this problem, which I came to know through a different channel with delay.
                    I complained the customer care several times over phone / internet since then. Whenever I called 121, I was tortured with a huge list of questions (as usual), for which I gave response with utmost patience and a lot of hope. But the net result is NIL (problem still persists - my relatives/friends coming to my house don't get signal after entering my home). I got vexed with the worst resolution process of Airtel. All the complaints were simply closed without inquiring me regarding the status of signal strength. There were no closure comments for any of the complaints.
                    Considering the current Telecom scenario such distressful service is not at all acceptable. Trust most of your customers switched to other networks without escalating, however since I posses company CUG card a justification will be required (which this mail covers if remained unsorted).

                    1 I am serving Army Officer, staying Government allotted house in Delhi Cantt.During the month of Nov 2008, I took a new Prepaid Mobile connection No [protected], through Standard Communication, Gopinath Bazar Delhi Cantt.I has submitted required application along with documents like, Photoidentity(Xerox driving licence), Residence proof (xerox MTNL telephone bill) and the photograph.
                    2 To my surprise, outgoing calls were stopped during mid Dec 08, demanding again the set of documents given above. On enquiry i was told that the documents are being asked due to security reasons.
                    3 On 30 dec 2008, required application alongh with documents were submitted through Standard communication and was assured that that services will be restored within next 48 hours.( Your sale Executive Mr Nitin (holding Mob No [protected]) is responsible for collecting and submission of the documents.
                    4 Services were never restored, rather permanently disconnected wef 05 dec 2008, Mr Nitin claimed that he had submitted my documents to assigned office on 31 Dec 2008. The Phone was fully charged with adequate prepaidamount.
                    5 I would request you to forward my complaint to your CMD so that he should know that your services are deteriorating and I find MTNL/BSNL better in their Customercare.
                    6 I would request you to look into the case and ensure that the services discontinued due to callous attitude/approach of your statff, because they never took pain to verify my address. please depute some responsible person to verify the address, after 2PM on working days as house is closed upto 2 PM, my wife being away on her school.
                    7 I am hurt because I have undergone lot of harrassment due deficincy in services of the airtel. I expect suitable action erring staff and reply on action taken.

                    I want to bring into your notice that since day 1, I was facing problems regarding my new connection for +91 [protected] regarding internet services. The problem was that since day 1 i was not getting the guarantedd speed of 3G services and even I used that Airtel Modem and I complaint to the Airtel three times but they never replied to my complaint and they slapped me a bill of Rupees 2000.

                    My complaint is not resolved yet so I didn't pay the bill to the Bharti Airtel. Now they started harrasing me. Even I can't use my broadband correctly due to the bad 3G coverage. I am very much frustrated due to the Bharti Airtel ignorance with me. I want file a case regarding this issue.

                    I am requesting the Airtel to refund my Dongle price of Rs 1800. As they didn't provide me the services to me as they promised and they didn't resolve my issue also.

                      I am a regular customer of airtel using dth since last three yrs but from last few months as i was out of town hence not recharged. When i called to customer care for know the recharge offer he said airtel system is slow please call back after some time. After that on next day i received a call from airtel that under a software updation scheme all setupbox need to be submitted and after updation i can recharge it. first time i denied for this submission of setupbox but i received three more call and then a person named Mr. Sumit (Mobile: [protected]) approached me at my address n gave me a form having my details n my setupbox number, VC number over d form n treating that an airtel scheme had submitted my setupbox with assurance that i will get d same back after a week. But now after two weeks m tracking d same number to get back my setupbox but not getting satisfactory answer over those nos.

                      After So many Calls to Mr Sumit, given to Mr. Amit when i called to Mr. Amit he is talk to me two to three days making fool to me and after that he is given third number of Mr. Anil Tripathi. When i called to Mr. Anil he said you setupbox can not be return it is deposited to Airtel.

                      Then i have called to Airtel DTH customer care and talk to him and launch a complain. They gave me assurance your problem will be resolved with in 48 hours. And your setupbox will be returned.

                      After appox. 16 hours I got a call from Airtel and he told me your setupbox cann't be return. You can contact to metro tower. So i have contacted to Metro Tower (Airtel Head Office, Indore), they told me contact to Mr. Sunil Sangwan, Airtel Head Office, Metro Tower, Indore.

                      So i have called him but he said please wait i will call back you after some time. But i didn't get any call, again i called him, again he said i will call back you after 10 min. And making me fool from 11 july 2013. After two days he is not picking my phone.

                      So i have again contacted to Airtel Customer care and again lunch the complain. Again they gave me 48 hours time for resolution but till now its over but i didn't get any resolution.

                      Kindly check n revert me over my complain and return my setupbox.

                      Please reply me as soon as possible.

                      Note: Please take a note of it i got a call from airtel for software updation and they are doing wrong with us.

                      Everyone needs to red the FINE print! Don't be mad at your mobile phone company! ALL of these "FREE" ringtones, jokes, horoscopes are a SCAM. You innocently visit these "free" this or that sites, thinking you're gonna get something for "free" and once they have your mobile number, that's all they need to bill you through your phone company. Your mobile phone company has no idea if you have authorized these charges or not (until you call them and complain). The charges on your phone bill are from a third party. I used to work at T-Mobile, so I know how these scams work. It's not a scam by your carrier though. You are getting billed by a third party. The ONLY ringtones that are free are the ones that come on your phone when you get it. Seriously! What you have to do to stop the billing is call the third party billing (your carrier has all the phone numbers and can tell you the phone number of the 3rd party that is billing you). Your carrier will give a few courtesy credits, but cancelling the subscription is up to the individual. All of these "free" ringtones and such are a SCAM! Nothing is free..not the jokes, not the ringtones, not the horoscopes. Advice to all... don't vistit the sites that claim to have "FREE" anything! And if you do, don't give them your mobile number!

                      AirTel — Fraud Scheme

                      Dear Sir,

                      ONGOING FRAUD IN THE NAME OF AIRTEL

                      This is to report a fraud taking place in the Name of Airtel.

                      Firstly there is a call from an lady who introduces herself as an Airtel employee Varsha from Airtel office.(ph number: [protected]) on Saturday Apr 25th.

                      She tells me that your no. is XXXX and you have been selected to be upgraded into the Corporate plan.
                      The plan reduces the minimum monthly charge to Rs.49 and your callcharges will be 30 ps Airtel2Airtel, 50 ps other networks and 1 Rs STD. Also one no. i have to select which will be free dialling.
                      All this would come at the down payment of Rs.600 out of which 500 will be refunded in the future bills.

                      They said they would send a man to our office or home for the collection.
                      I received call from this lady quite a no of times confirmation acceptance o[censored]pgrade, also she said that she could upgrade any other Airtel no of my family/friend for the same amount. I confirmed another airtel 2 nos of my family.

                      So on Monday, the represantative came to my office in Forst He was named Jai, was was dressed casually in a Jeans and casual shirt (quite contradictory to an executive from airtel)
                      He has brought along a plastic bang, containg 2-3 reciept of Airtel and a brochure of Nokia (probably 1605)

                      He led me into filling the reciept no (861726) which was in triplicate. he wrote the amount of Rs. 2450 as being made payment.
                      Rs.600 each for 2 upgrades and Rs 600 each for 2 new Sim Cards ( the nos which he gave were [protected], [protected])
                      and 50 Rs. handling.

                      Then he went on giving me the 3rd page of the Reciept (MY COPY) and left to return in the evening with the new sim cards etc.

                      He told the the PLAN upgrade would be done as soon as he reached office.

                      He hasnt showed up till date.

                      Calling up the mobile no.[protected], first the so called Airtel rep. told us that he would be coming the next day, was in Dadar and gave all sorts of different reasons.

                      Now, since yesterday 27th April 2009, she isnt receiving our calls made from any mobile or landlines.

                      Now, i checked on the internet and with my friends, and found out that this is a fraud scheme whereby we are left without any help whatsoever.

                      one day i call to the customer care of airtel to know that on which recharge i got full talktime, then the Customer Care executive of Airtel Told me that, Whenever i want to know about the full talktime Scheme i hav to call their tollfree number 121312 and then i got the information of full talktime recharge on my number,
                      Sir, on[protected] i call on 121312 and i got a message that if i recharge my number with 56 Rs. then i got full talktime, condition is: i got 47 rs. balance instantly and remaining 9 Rs. after 24 hours of recharge.
                      so today i again call to Airtel Customer Care to know that . why i cant receive my remaining balance,
                      then the executive named Priya Yogi told me that your problem is solved by 10 november, and when i ask her to giv me my complaint num, she is making excuse and make delay,

                      But till this time and date[protected] i wont received my remaining balance, due to whch i am so Depressed about these service providers will to do any thing with customers,.
                      So Sir, Please take thr right action against Airtel against this Fraud coz this suppressess consumers a lot.

                      I have been AIRTEL DTH customer but a victim of pathtic service and cheating for about a year now.First of all ,customer service is pathetic...I have to waste 5-6hrs to get connected !!! Horrible Cust Rep ppl, they dont know basic languages.....For 6 months or so I have been facing signal loss problem, when ever it rains or drizzles..my reception is gone for 2-3 dys....Fed up i registed a complaint after much struggle.I was horrified even after a week complaint unattended ,wat followed was false promises to solve the problem.Finally, tech guy visited and did nothing..said i cant help because that is wat AIRTEL can provide. ...Also, HE SAYS UR LUCKY THAT UR ATLEST GETTING THE SIGNALS BUT WITH LATEST IS STILL WORSE.....MPEG4 N ALL IS JUST A LIE ,THE SIGNAL QUALITY WILL BE LIKE THIS ONLY.SO Y SHUD I RECHARGE ?                         I purchased Airtel Broadband plan, for 30 GB Usage per month. After 15 days of every month i get the message that i have already used 80% of data. To my amazement i started checking the data usage myself and installed a data usage tracker software on my computer. When next month i got the same msg from airtel saying i have used 80% data, i checked in actual my data usage was only 50% on that software. I called up customer care to which thy said, they cannot trust 3rd party software and its method of calculating data and he directed me to chk my usage details on their website with my account details.When i checked, i was shocked to see the details, internet and data usage charged at inappropriate times when my laptop is switched off and i am asleep (5 am), (4 am)... when I am not at home, and in the office data is charged even for that time. I called up the customer care, to which he said u must have shared your password with someone... and i was like.. ohh is this your excuse??? Then he said, modem must have been switched on, I said but my laptop was off !! So incompetent people sitting in customer care, that this should be renamed as Customer Discomfort service". When i asked him to direct me to his senior, he kept me waiting for 30 minutes. When his senior actually spoke with me, he got my system checked if my internet is being used by any other IP address, to which he got cleared that no other laptop/PC is connected with this connection.
                        Then he asked me to write a mail, to which i said why should i write a mail, you need to take down my complaint and give me the complaint number, then he did so. Now, I am so pissed off with airtel that i have taken an oath to destroy its brand image for broadband connection on social media and on the internet. They are MAKING FOOL OUT OF THE CUSTOMER.

                        Airtel — Airtel Bunch of Incompetent Fools

                        Dear Sir/Madam,



                        This is to bring to your attention a problem I am facing since 12th April, 2008.



                        On 11th April, 2008, I activated GPRS on my mobile because I had to travel to Gujarat for a week. It was activated instantly. However, after repeated sms/calling 121, I did not get the settings for my Imate SPL mobile. Infact my mobile was blocked for calling 121 and I was advised that I should contact only through SMS which will be replied in 24 hours.



                        After searching on the internet, finally I found the settings on 12th April, 2008 when I was in Ahmedabad. However, the speed was so poor/pathetic that immediately I sent an SMS to deactivate my GPRS. However, I got error “FAILURE TO DEACTIVATE SERVICE. PLEASE TRY LATER.” When I called 121, I was told that since my mobile was from Bombay, I have to call a Bombay number [protected] to deactivate the same.



                        Instantly I called that number and the executive took my complaint. However, when I found that my money was being deducted for the next two days, I sent an email on 15th April, 2008.



                        After that, I have been continuously calling helpline 121, sending emails, have personally visited your Kandivli relationship centre but my problem still continues.



                        Everyday Rs.14.99 is being deducted from my mobile. I did get refund a few times but what about my time that is being wasted in calling everyday to your 121 and giving my complaint.



                        I believe now each and every executive at your Mindspace office knows my voice. Till date, almost each and everyone has assured me that ‘YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED IN 2 HRS., IN 6 HRS., IN 24 HRS’ etc. but nothing has been done. One particular gentleman Mr.Sheetal Mohite asked me to personally call him and check about the status of my complaint but after that he was not approachable. Once, I was informed that he is not available but he will call me back. Till date nobody has called back.



                        A few times, some people called me from Airtel saying that they are calling from the head office and also refunded my money and said ‘YOUR PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED’.



                        Also, I keep getting messages that ‘YOUR PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED’ and ‘YOUR MONEY IS BEING REFUNDED’ but these are only SMS, I didn’t get money whenever I got SMS but a few times I did get money refund but without any SMS.



                        Why does it take 50 days to solve this simple problem?



                        I would have simply discontinued this pathetic service but the problem is I have just printed 10, 000 brochures and 1, 000 visiting cards and have got the number on a lot of my websites.



                        Please solve this problem at the earliest because I don’t have any other options but to keep calling 121 and keep posting to various consumer centres/public interest blogs/reviews on the internet about Airtel.



                        A general search on “airtel sucks” on Google would bring a lot of them. Anyway, there are thousands of complaints already and I don’t think another addition makes any difference.



                        I wish I could get Shahrukh Khan’s email to just check from him why he goes “ga-ga” in ads over this rubbish service.

                        Dear Sir,

                        This is to bring to your notice that someone made three unauthorised transactions with bharti airtel through my ICICI Credit card number [protected] in October 2008.The transactions happened on the same day, almost same time . Each transaction was of Rs.6334.

                        The transaction ID'd given to me by ICICI bank to trace the above person with Bharti airtel for the above three payments are as follows :
                        1) 110171
                        2) 224166
                        3) 895922
                        All of the three were of same value i.e Rs6334 each.

                        Since the payment to bharti airtel was done through my credit card, I would like to know the details of the purchase i.e. if the payment was done for mobile phone bills then let me know the name, number and address of the concerned person. Or if the person has bought some product then the address of the concerned person etc..

                        My intention is to get to the person who has done this unauthorised purchase through my credit card.

                        I would really appreciate if you can search and provide me with the information of the concerned person asap.

                        Airtel — Not providing data usages

                        I have puchased Nokia-C3 on 03 oct,2010 and their was a scheme that if we purchase Nokia-C3 then Airtel will provide us the GPRS upto 6 month (2 GB per month). First month the data usages is provided to us but in the next month (05 Nov,2010) this facility stopped, when I talked to costumer care of Airtel Mr. Pawan told me that there was a technical mistake and these data usages will be add in my account on 08 Nov,2010 and we have followed all the rules, but this have not be done. When I again talked to the costumer care,now they are refusing to do this.

                            I am with Airtel mobile no. 98400 XXXXX and using this number for more than 5 years. Few months back , I have converted my connection from Post Paid to prepaid. I have submitted all the relevant papers at Customer care center I was not in city for couple of month when I am back to Chennai and came to know that my number has been blocked for not using it.
                            I have converted this Postpaid connection to prepaid. Again I want to make it postpaid connection. Still, number has not been given to anyone. So my humble request to you please block it this number for me and do.

                            I have keep sending email for more than a month to all your nodal officers and visiting chennai Airtel office in different places. (last visit with Purusaiwakkam branch)

                            I believe Airtel being global company they should atleast repond to email and call. Which is not happening right now.

                            P.S: This number I have given to all major account like Bank, LIC etc.

                            I have a postpaid airtel connection no [protected]. Its last bill is Rs. 433 which I had paid on 4th april 2008. but till now my phone is not activated. I[censored] want to contact me pls ring me on [protected].
                            Hello AIRTEL,

                            Service was restored on above phone on 20th afternoon, after repeated complaints with your call centre.

                            All services on the phone have been disconnected once again on 22nd evening. We contacted your call centre today morning, and we were informed that services have been suspended again because of address verification and that our application form is not traceable and told us to visit relationship centre and submit application once again.

                            This is absolutely shocking, it seems we have been picked up for continuous harassment for no rhyme or reason whatsoever.

                            The application (it was second application for your information, we were told first application is not traceable)was picked up by your sales staff from our office and in next 3/4 days, your officials visited us for verification purposes and all his quarries were provided to his satisfaction.

                            Now please tell us how many times we have to submit application and how many times the verification process takes place.

                            Now we are sick in lodging our complaints repeatedly and nothing moving to sort out and close this issue once for all.

                            We are lodging a complaint with police today for being cheated for not providing promised services after we have paid Rs 36000 for the i-phone.

                            We are also planning to proceed to CONSUMER ADDRESSAL COURT for deficiency of service.

                            We are simply appalled at the treatment we are getting in your hands.

                            I have logged a smiliar complaints on Airtel India (FP page) so i started receiving call with different different numbers. But my problem not got resolved. Finally, One of their executives informed me saying they are not direct employee of Airtel. I was surprice to that i was talking to people who do not have basic detail from Airtel and addressing my issue. I have sent them couple of emails but they claim that they haven't received a single email from me.

                            How i came to know that they are not from Airtel?
                            When they asked me to forward all email which i have sent to nodal office and their airtel office to "airtel.[protected]@gmail.com". Even, same question i aksed in FB whether this email ID belongs to Airtel because it address to @gmail.com.

                            Everytime i got call from different number and same person never calls back again.

                            I can clearly see there is fraud side of Airtel and Self intrest of giving my number to someone else.
                            ISSUE NOT RESOLVED: First you should get definition of resolved.

                            I have just got information saying my number has been allocated to someone. Wihout stating when i have asked to keep it block for me and Even i got call from 9th Jun then how come to can deactivate my number?

                              I am an Airtel prepaid user. I use 3G data service. On 13 July 2013, I had not used much of data & I still had 90 MBs approx in my 3G data balance. But in evening when I was out for some work during my visit at my home town in Muzaffarnagar, I had to call my father for some urgent work but found that balance is Zero. I had not used any of the balance for calling & there were still approx 100 Rs. balance till morning. I tried calling the customer care to know the reason of balance deduction. They refused to lodge any complaint or resolve the query since I am a Delh region customer. They gave me a no. [protected] & asked to call on the same but roaming charged would apply & since balance was already zero, I was unable to call them either. I could not find any store nearby where I could get the recharge done. I actually could not contact my father for 3 long hours that caused me a lot of problems. I HAVE A BIG QUESTION THAT WHEN I CAN GET THE RECHARGE OF A DELHI NO. DONE IN MUZAFFARNAGAR, WHY COULD THE UP CUSTOMER CARE NOT LISTEN TO MY COMPLAINTS.


                              MOREOVER, when I reached delhi on sunday late evening I tried calling 198 (customer complaint) but could not connect. Whenever I press 9 to talk to representative & lodge a complaint the call automatically disconnected.

                              I need a quick resolution. When I was using a data pack (155 for 500 MB 2G & 500 MB 3G data) I didnt get any message or call from the company that My 3G data is getting over. I could have got the recharge done or switched my data service off if I knew this fact. Further I had not used much of internet. Where had all the 90 MBs gone without any major use of the same. Company actually cheated on their part. The recovered 255 actually (155 for data pack & 100 for single day's use - Which they are not telling who had used the same).

                              They should have actually allowed me proportionate data for RS. 100 balance. I should ve got 400 MBs 2G & 400 MBs of 3G data for Rs. 100.


                              I face a lot trouble & need a resolution fast.

                              Airtel Prepaid — Deduction of prepaid balance of approx. Rs. 400

                              Following a promotional SMS sent to my prepaid mobile phone by Airtel, I recharged on 23-June-2010, through a local grocery store, an amount of Rs. 500 on which I were to get Rs 550 talk time. After recharging, to my surprise *123# balance reflected only Re.1. The grocery storewala then told me that the money might have gone into some scheme & advised me to contact Airtel Customer Care at 198 instead of 121 from my mobile for further details of scheme. I spoke to the customer care executive who informed me that this scheme provides me 550 minutes of talk time whereas the SMS had mentioned about Rs 550 talk time and he also informed me that for balance, I had to request *123*8#. No further detail than that described above was provided to me by Airtel. I had even checked my balance after 1 local call and the balance showed was in Rs. & not in minutes. Suddenly on 17-July-2010, when trying to make a local call, came an automated reply that the phone balance is 0 & recharge again. On contacting the Airtel Customer Care at [protected] from my landline member, I was informed that the scheme I had entered into had a validity of 25 days & so whatever was the balance remaining had lapsed. I registered a complaint with the escalation officer of Airtel and also with the Nodal officer. The Nodal officer categorically declined to refund my forfeited balance in spite of my argument that I was not informed about the 25 days validity of the scheme.
                              Dear Sir / Madam,

                              I am using airtel preapaid cards & our phone Nos. [protected] & [protected]. as sson as recharge my card deduct Rs.10.00 every 4 -5 Days sent massage from your end. So many time i complent on 198 & 121 but not given resposnse & reply from customer side. I giving warrning of declared in press Airtel customer service arresing to customer. But not any reply to me . even again again deduct my Rs. 10.00 from our rechards cards.

                              Please look into the matter & reverse my deduct amt & give me suitable reply.

                              As i mantion above i am airtel user and my no. Is [protected] and today i am recharge my account with Rs. 100 and suddenly when i check my baalance it shows the balance is Rs. 0.01.
                              Than i call customer care he says that we transfer yur call to our senior executive please stay on line than he disconnect the line. Than i call again and i face the same situation of disconnection but i tried again then their senior says that my bal is deduct due to the use of internet surfing but his reply is not satisfactory because i am using internet on my phone from last 8 months and this is first time when my balance is deduct because i am using special internet pack for using it.
                              The senior executive says that my balance is deduct by Rs. 89 (approx.) for the usage something 5000 mbs but their charges are 30p./20kb. But i[censored] calculate according to them the charges will more than thousands of rupees. This thing make me unsatisfy this is reason which take me at your door step.

                              Bharti Airtel Ltd. — Charged For Services Not Used

                              In the month of June, I had requested for the cancellation of my broadband connection (number: [protected]) as I was relocating to Mumbai. I was informed by the customer care that instead of cancellation I can get a relocation package, wherein, my connection will be transferred to Mumbai and the Bangalore number will cease to exist. The relocation was done in July 1st week and my new Mumbai number ([protected]) was installed along with the broadband connection.

                              However, I am still being charged for my Bangalore connection (although it should ideally not exist anymore) each month and money being debited from my bank account through ECS, along with being charged for the Mumbai connection. I am ending up paying for a connection and utility that I am not even using anymore. Till date I have lost close to Rs 5000.

                              On numerous occasions I have filed a complaint with the Airtel customer support and also followed up on the complaint, but each time they assure that this will not happen again and that I will be refunded for the incorrect charges. However, till date there has been no resolution from Airtel with my money still with them. They have charged me and debited my account in the month of August and October (copies of bank statement have record of it).

                              Below are the details of each complaint:

                              1st complaint Ref Number: 2812098. I was assured that I will receive the money by courier by Aug 31, 11:30 am, but have still not got it. On top of it, Aitrel went ahead and closed this complaint without any resolution.

                              2nd complaint Ref Number: 5364146. I was again assured that I will have a resolution by Oct 10, 5:30 pm. (spoken to Arvind & Rajlakshmi at Bangalore customer care), however I still did not hear back from them.

                              After waiting the entire day today, I once again called to follow up on my complaints and the people there were trying to dilly dally by giving me new rules and regulations that they did not inform me of at the time of relocating the number.

                              I would earnestly appeal to help me out here and let me know of ways, if any, to get this issue resolved.

                                I am airtel customer since 2 years, My no is [protected]. But before January, 2009, this no. was in the name of splendid Techno Systems. But after leaving this company, I had been issued this in my name i.e. Praveen Kumar . I have requested to convert it in prepaid but airtel customer care & respective outlets refused to do the same, they say that minimum three month time is required for the same. I waited for 3 months & again requested, but again refused, & said that ID is not clear, but I gave same ID which was given to convert this no in my name. I have given many other ID but refused saying that no ID is clear. But I am not getting the point, when I purchase a new connection, there is no problem with the ID, but airtel has problems with this ID . Many time I went to your outlet in Dwarka sector 5, but they refused without giving any reason & many time talked to customer care but no fruitful result was obtained. So please convert my no in prepaid services & give your good reply.

                                In the past I faced no problems with the Services but now I am not satisfied with the Airtel services. I am using Airtel Since my Childhood and My Family too. But after this case, I am very frustrated and don’t want to use any kind of airtel services in the future.

                                Airtel Mobile Service — Recharge regarding

                                On receiving an offer for recharge in my mobile no.[protected], I have read 30Days as 300 inadvertently and charged for Rs.916/-Only after recharging it came to my notice that it was only 30 days validity.Actually a space bar in between 30 and Days was missing in your offer.
                                The offer was
                                916 Golden recharge...........Dtls 51572.
                                Hence I request that the remitted amount may be changed to normal scheme at the earliest.
                                Kindly note that I and all my family members use the airtel service despite several offers for women and for State Govt. employees( I being an woman employee of Kerala State) offered by BSNL.

                                AirTel — COMPLAINT ABOUT RECHARGE

                                I Jaspal Singh want to tell that I am using Airtel Number [protected] which is Prepaid. As per the Airtel Scheme I always recharge my card with Rs. 75 in which I get Rs. 75 as the full recharge value valid for 7 Days. I recharged my account on 5th through an easy recharge dealer who are involved in recharging any mobile number as well have the facility to pay your electricity bills and telephone bills. But I could not get any recharge from that, whereas the amount was deducted from the dealer's account. When I called the customer care, i could not connect my call to the customer care as it became a paid call from this month onwards. So i could not fire a complaint against the problem in the customer care. After that I got a survey message from Airtel to asking me to give a brief about the call and service which they give us. There also I replied that I was not satisfied with the service. Still I did not get any call from the customer care of Airtel.

                                Now I would be very obliged if I could get the recharged amount refunded to my account.

                                  ir again Airtel done an unauthorized deduction as i have not done any paid games download from my mobile but AIRTEL have deducted inr 50.00 from my mobile @ 4.40 pm on 11h July 2013 and also on today @ 9.21am they have deducted rs 50 mentioning value added pack,again three other deductions have been made , and all the details has been attached on add photo link please go thru the matter

                                  so far my knowledge concern airtel has a program to deduct unused amount from customer periodically by cheating us,
                                  this is the fifth consecutive unauthorized deduction from my account the first two has reverted and they have not taken any action to revert the next three deductions .

                                  so please return my amount as i have not even use this service, but when i dial customer care no body is lifting the phone after deducting the prescribed .00.50 INR for 3 min,
                                  but as per govt policy the complaint should lodge @198 without any charge, but the airtel is deducting the amount and not connecting to any customer care persons, this is also illegal, this is the repeated and deduction within this week but airtel has returned my previous deduction under same category which was deducted on 7th july and reversed on 10th july, so please do not repeat the same harassment to a genuine customer

                                  Ihave both Prepaid and Postpaid connections.for my prepaid connections I have registered for DND service.Ireescpective of the fact iam receiving Promotional SMS form Airtel and with out my consent for subscription I am being auto renewing to the services which i do not want...and BALANCES ARE BEING DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT DAY AFTER DAY..for those service which i do not want to subscribe..

                                  I work in Ashok Leyland, I took a sim card with a number alloted for me from a sales person who visits my office regularly in my office CUG. I was offered that number and even after 3 days the mobile was not activated and when i asked Airtel Sales Man is saying me that the number is given to some one else and wants me to choose the number from the other list. I ask him to get me the same number, he doesnt even respond to my call.. He just cut the call !!! what the heck is this ?

                                  WHY should he cheat ? I still have the simcard with the number he specified with me !! Shall I file a suite against this person for cheating me ?

                                  Is this the way Airtel trains their person ? what a shame on Airtel a brand in india ? If you cannot keep up your words why do you promise ?

I was shocked to know that my balance has run down to Inr 85 so soon as our usage is very limited. I tried requesting customer care to provide me with itemised statement but to no avail. Can I get a statement for prepaid service or not. How can govt allow operators to take customers for a ride. It is so frustrating talking to call center guys who inevitably hang the line when they have no answer and then u get another operator every time and one has to repeat the whole story evry time to no avail.                                   Airtel Mobile — Cheated by Airtel

                                  My Airtel no if [protected]. I was using the rs.499 blackberry plan and the bill amount went to more than rs.9000 for just a week. Dont know how this could go so much and Airtel has not given any detailed bill on this. I could not afford to pay this in one go and so told Airtel this would be done in parts of rs.3000 every month. It was agreed that there would be no late payment fees but now Airtel has charged rs 488 as late fees. I had also disconnected my blackberry services on Dec 7th but they charged blackberry charges of rs.899 for a whole month. I had sent a mail disconnecting the blackberry services by 7th Dec. Its a shame that a customer like me who has been with Airtel for 7 years could not be given a waiver or discount in the bill. They could have easily treated it with the rs.899 plan and waived off the amount. Atleast I expected a discount. Pathetic customer service and its sad Airtel is treating customer shabbily. Have stopped blackberry services and just waiting for number portability to shift to another service provider.

                                  when i contacted customer care, they agreed for the refund of amount and make a promise for refund within 24 hours on 07.01.2011

                                  till date i am waiting for refund. I feel that airtel is cheating with me. please look into this matter & resolve it

                                  Airtel — wrong deduction from talk value : prepaid

                                  I am a pre-paid user of Air tel since last 4 years. My number is [protected] balasore circle of orissa. On 31st oct 11 at about 17.50 hrs a call came. The call was hello tune call from air tel service. just i received the call a sms came that "thank you for choosing hello tunes, you have been charged Rs30 for 30 days. Again another sms came from AK54888 that Rs 15 for 90 days . Total Rs 45/- has been ddeducted from may talk value. Just I am reading the sms with my surprise i came to know that I can stop service by dialing[protected]. Within second , I rang to stop to the aforesaid no.Again another sms came that services stopped. But what is this? Without my consent and within some second how my talk value will be reduced . Sir, I am a faithful customer of your company since 4 years. Please do not do this. You are kindly requested to refund my talk value which was deducted by you wrongly. I am sure you will be kind enogh and refund my talk value immediately. I also promise you that, I will be with air tel as I was for the last 4 years. Hoping a favourable action from your end.

After that i called customer care and was told that the bal. Was deducted wrongly and kindly talk to his senior. After that my call was put on hold and it remained silent till i disconnected. The kind of customer support povided by the india no 1 service provider donot match your standards. My no is 875712/8120. Kindly look in to the matter and refund the balance at the earliest.
