[Resolved]  Airtel - Mobile Postpaid Connection SIM Activation — AIRTEL POSTPAID CORPORATE MOBILE CONNECTION – SIM ACTIVATION ENDLESS WAIT

I had purchased a mobile connection # [protected] from Airtel outlet in Vijayanagar, Bangalore on 1st August 2013 by providing all the documents. I was told the address verification would happen next day & SIM would be activated by 5th. However when no one came to verify the address, I contacted the outlet on 6th Aug & I was told that address verification had failed & someone from verification team had called my mobile & that it was not reachable. None of this was true as my current postpaid connection [protected] from airtel also has the same billing address & it was verified 3 yrs back when I got that connection. Also I didnt get any call from verification team either on 2nd or 3rd Aug. The outlet was kind enough to escalate this & arrange for address re-verification at a time of my choice. The next day 7th, the address was verified both at my residence & office. I was expecting the activation to happen on 8th. Since it didnt happen, I called outlet again on 8th evening & I was told this would happen by 9th. Again on 9th it didnt happen & was told that it would be done by the end of 9th Aug. Finally without success in activation, I went to the outlet on 10th & was told that activation would be done anytime of the day & that I would get a call. Since it didnt happen by 7 pm, I went to the outlet again & I was given another SIM [protected][protected] for the same mobile no requested & I was told that it is a technical problem which would be resolved by tuesday 13th Aug. I dont know if this problem would ever get resolved. It has been 10days without any help from airtel.

About 3 weeks back I purchased a AIRTEL mobile connection from a shop of navi mumbai near kharghar
my airtel no. : [protected].


This was given as identity proof. In airtel gallery in vashi shop, the number have not been activated.

- In the mean time a copy of the voter id was also given to the shop. This is causing a great harassment to us, there is great problem in communicating with me

- I request you to look into this and activate the connection immediately.

- Also please compensate us adequately for the harassment and inconvenience caused to us.

Bill of airtel mobile is comming to our mobile from past a couple of months from 121. It should be stopped very soon because the message inbox will be full.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — Not yet connected after given complaint

I got Airtel postpaid connection (mobile no. [protected]) on 13th May 2010, after that on 1st June 2010 they disconnected the connection because of they are not updated my address verification details. After that I went sevaral times to airtel office to complaint the same. They are told like within one hour, two hour it will activate. Those are hapennened between 7 days. But still now (7th June 2010) it is not yet activated.
But in my Airtel internet account displays that it is active. Because of this problem I have losed My customers contact & my mind also upset. Kindly take an action on Airtel.

Postpaid sim — ACTIVATION

I HAD BOUGHT A SIM FROM YOUR RETAILER WHICH IS SITUATED IN HARIOM TOWER NAMED TATA INDICOM, 1ST FLOOR, CIRCULAR ROAD, RANCHI ON 11TH OCTOBER 2010 AND NOW TILL DATE MY SIM IS NOT ACTIVATED. MY SIM SERIAL NO. IS[protected]. I AM CALLING MANY TIMES EVERY DAY BUT NOT RESPONDING NIETHER BY YOUR TATA INDICOM REPRESENTATIVES NOR BY YOUR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES. WHAT CAN I DO THEN? AirTel — Post paid mobile connection

I changed my Airtel connection from prepaid to post paid. They gave me a new sim card and it got activated after 6 days. This was working for a day and then got deactivated. I called up airtel customer care and they said there was no problem with their end. Customer care person asked me to change my sim card as it could have got damaged. I did changed the sim but the same problem.

I called up Airtel customer care several times but each time I call they are giving different information. When I checked in the near by airtel showroom they said the connection is disconnected and redirecting me to check with the person I made the prepaid to post paid request. But when I checked with them they say the connection is active and no problem with their end. Airtel service is very pathetic, annoying and they are not giving clear information.

Now even I have to change to other service provider I have to activate this connection and wait for three months to change as this is considered as new connection. Some how I have to get rid of Airtel soon.

Facebook — Mobile Activation Problem

I have been informed to send a message to a provided number (Msg "F" to 51555), and my mobile service provider is TATA Docomo. But I didn't receive my confirmation code to activate notifications on my mobile. Kindly look into the matter and oblige.

Airtel — airtel gprs activation not according to my choice.

My Airtel prepaid connection No. is [protected]. I use GPRS pack of rs 98/= every month but today airtel has activated rs 60/= pack validity 14 days automaticaly without informing me.Today evening when i called up airtel customer service about this matter the gentleman told me that hum log kewal suneno ke liye baithe hai aapka plan change karne ke liye nahi baithe hai aapko jaha complain kana hai karo
I am shocked to hear such iresponsible type of comments from the indias top most mobile service provider AIRTEL



Please help me to get my refund or change my GPRS TARIFF since it is unfair with me.

sim purchase — not getting connection

Dear sir,
On 27/11/2011 I purchased a Idea sim at Tumkur, and i got the connection by 9 pm on the same day. I had submitted all relavant documents but even then i was receiving a msg that " you have not submitted the application form and photo so that your connection gets barred. This was kept informed to the purchesed person. Inspite of this my connection got dissconnected on 04/12/2011. After severe effort I was informed that I had signed at wrong place. Again a new application with photo has been given and i was told that I will get the connection by evening of 07/12/2011. But now the concerned person is not lifting the phone or providing the connection. Really the worst service which i ever felt. If possibletry to get my connection other wise let my account be payed back . My other cell no is [protected]. The newly bought Idea no is [protected] which is corrently not in connection. The concerned person is Mr Prasad and his no is [protected]. This is really a rubbish thing and my biiter experiance with IDEA SERVICE.

Airtel — Postpaid Corporate connection not closed

I submitted the request to close my corporate post paid connection for the 2 mobile connections that I had on my name back on Oct 21st since I am travelling to the US on the last day of Oct. I was asked to send the request 2 days in advance prior to the billing date in an automated email to which I responded with another email asking to take my request as final to surrender. When I am moving with my family, I have lot of other things to wind up. How would I remember to send 2 days in prior? That’s the reason I clearly mentioned to take my request as final. Now eventually my account is not closed and I am asked to pay a bill for 249 on one number and 1067 on another. I left the country on Oct 31st to which I attached the proof of travel already. Someone else is using my account (I don’t know how). I immediately sent an email to block this and asked for clarification. Now I am being told that only if I clear the outstanding my account will be closed. First of all I have not used it and sent a request to close and it is not my fault if Airtel has not closed it by the Oct-Nov billing cycle. I cannot be held responsible for the payment. Also, I have a very clean payment history and I have not defaulted a single time. This is hopeless customer service from Airtel. If I take a connection in the middle of the month, won't they accept it? Do I need to wait for a billing cycle? I never had this bad experience before. Everytime my issue is being worked by different customer service reps and everyone of them start from square one.
More than 1 month airtel people harassing me for converting prepaid to postpaid. 3 times I submitted my documents but still they are losing them and says document is inapropriate. Every time they threatens that they will not start the connection or if started then it will be barred.

Could you please help me to resolve this problem.
