Respected Sir,
I request you to stop the enhancement of Annual Value of the premises no – 4E, Nanda Ram Sen Street, Kolkata – 700005, Ward No – 9 in the Assessment Hearing dated 8th June’2022 at 2:30 pm vide Notice No – 185/[protected]/574348.
I strongly object the proposed enhancement of Annual Value distinctly depicting the reasons below: -
1) The building is very old (Approx. 400 years)
2) There is no addition or alteration or renovation in the said property over 15 years except minimum white-wash (Chun rong).
3) There is no income generated from the said property.
4) There are no tenants in the property over 15 years.
5) The building is old and in damaged condition.
6) I am now 67 years and I have no income over 20 years to repair the property properly.
7) Some of the room’s conditions are not so well.

I have clearly stated the current conditions of the said property. So, it is my kind request to stop the proposed enhancement of Annual Value or whatever you may deem fit and proper.

Sir, I live at p-64/A CIT Road scheme 6m, near phoolbagan police station, kolkata-700054 and we are really fed up of the stray dogs in our lane.There are almost 10 dogs who chase most of the people in the lane.Old people who face difficulty in walking are bitten by the dogs and so are children.There is a lady who abuses if we try to shoo the dogs away and she laughs when the dogs bite the people walking on the road.She gets raw fishes and she collects garbage from the road for the dogs, She is creating a nuisance too.At night the dogs scream and howl and do not let people sleep too.We tried to inform the police station but they said to complain to kmc.I urge your competent authority to take care of this mess and help us from this mess.Initially also dog catchers have come but this lady abused them and they went away.She is like a curse in this locality.Please help us by sending a dog catcher.

The garbage collector man in my locality, 12/7 Sadhan Kali Tala Road, Barisha, Kolkata 700008, regularly verbally abuses my mother for no purpose. She is 67 years old. I think he is paid by local goons to harass us.

I stay in ward no.126 of kmc.on today morning dated 26.03.22 when i came to open my shop i am seeing that all the wastage from drain is spreaded all over my enterance..i cant even walk properly inside...Not even my customer can come..please look into this matter as soon as possible..and take further steps.

We are from a society which holds two kindergarten schools, alongside to which we have multiple doctors living in the society but there are Garbage/Trash Cans available.

Garbage and Dirt stops the trees from growing also because of Overhead wires not being bundled up.

The drainage is not proper and the streets get waterlogged.

Kindly look into the issue as per the needful.

We are residents of 8/49, Fern Road, Kolkata-700019 under Ward No.-68 of your corporation. One male member of the occupants of the ground floor of this premise is regularly urinating from the window and creating nuisance on the footpath. Although he has been repeatedly asked not to do so, he is not paying any attention. It is our earnest request to you to solve this problem immediately to enable us to live in an hygienic atmosphere.

This is to inform you about illegal Pond Filling about to happen in my locality.. Some influential people are waiting for the municipal elections results to get over this month to start illegally filling up the pond and selling them for construction purpose. I am residing in Pachsayar area (Pin Code 700094) Nayabad, Kolkata. It is to bring to kind attention that there has been a sharp increase in the number of dogs in our locality. We are getting harassed with the barking all the time which are adversely affecting our sleep pattern and health specially during odd hours. Kindly help us in getting a resolution to this issue. For the last few months, there has been an unfortunate increase in the number of street dogs roaming the locality at night. They fight and bark loudly throughout the night which disturbs everyone's sleep including my mother, who is old and unwell.

Dear Sir,

This is to let you know that my immediate neighbor, the Sanyals, at 27 Debinibas Road, Kolkata 700074, has illegally used up the common passage between our houses while reconstructing their wall boundaries. In fact, they have demolished the boundary wall, progressed their boundary lines by some feet encroaching the common passage, have dug up the common passage which was cemented by us, promising us to repair the same later but have failed to keep their promise. They do not have ownership of the common passage and must recede their boundary line as per the blueprints of the common passage.

This has resulted in a narrow and dirty common passage. Our house which is located at the same address but a plot behind theirs, is now hidden from the main road. Gps tracking is not working correctly and delivery/service personelles are not able to locate our premises. On top of that the Sanyals are throwing garbage in the passage causing street dogs to create havoc there, and are quite vocal about their doings.

I would request you to please take this issue under your radar and fix the inconveniences that we are facing currently. We would be very grateful for the same.

I am Debmalya Dey, an advocate and social activist. 131E picnic garden road, kolkata-700039 east side, beside Tiljala Police Station there is a huge pond which is being filled up by some anti-socials with the help of many influencials as I think. Police remained silent as the police station is just some meters away. Tiljala police station may be in hand in in gloves with them.

I have complained numerous times, repeatedly to Tiljala Police Station as well to Lalbazar Control room.

Please look into this matter and resolve the issue. This is a crime against society and to the environment which also puts danger to our future generation.

Sir, Sub : Menace of mosquitoes attack.

We the people of Talpukur Road (Main), Sarsuna, Kolkata - 61, Ward - 126 are suffering too much for attack of mosquitoes whole day and night. This has become too much difficult to live in this place any further. Mosquitoes in large scale are entering houses and are biting the people day and night. We are afraid that the citizens of this area may be victims of Dengue, Malaria etc any day . Medicines/ oil for destroying mosquitoes are applied at long intervals in this area. The open drains in this area are the breeding grounds of huge mosquitoes needless to say. I would therefore request you to arrange for sanitary drains ( pucca drains ) in this area by removing the open drains. Only then the attack of mosquitoes will be reduced as we hope this.

Illegal construction in Kaysthapara, Haltu, Kasbaarea. This is opposite to Frozen, 3rd plot, near Masala corner. MInimum gap between two flats are not maintained, incase of earthquake it will endanger the life of the same flat as well as surrounding. Please look at this.

I am resident of 73 upen banerjee road, kolkata-700060., Ward 131. Here, dogs and puppies, are being allowed inside the apartment and the staircase is full of dogs and puppies thus blocking common person's space. My students have a problem entering the apartment, and they have to literally jump staircase. Dogs doesn't move at all. Earlier dogs gave many puppies, which suddenly disappeared, but again this have happened. My neighbors have created all nuisance inside the apartment by giving them food. We don't have any problem regarding giving of food but it is better if they can give outside the apartment. The dogs smell literally is very unhygienic. The apartment is getting filled with dogs nuisance everywhere. We are not able to walk and pass through it. We have talked to the acting Secretary many times, but he has not taken any action. Therefore, we request very eagerly to the KMC Kolkata to please take appropriate action regarding the puppies. This is going since last year. And our neighbors are responsible for this only. They use abusive language when asked not to do all these things inside the apartment. We have complained to the police regarding all these things, however they have been threatened once but still this issue continues. I request the KMC to please resolve the problem.

I'm the resident of 59 ward. My full address is Rambagan. In our area a Street dog is biting people regularly. And it becomes to be dangerous day by day. please do the needful.

Premises 4&5 Temple Street chandni ward 47 Borough 6 lying locked for years . Owner unknown. Jungle inside premises . Deadly animals, poisonous snakes, mongoose, scorpions, centipedes, creepy insects, breeding ground for mosquitoes, dengue and deadly diseases. Must be cleaned immediately. Dangerous to reside in the area. Urgent intervention required.
