Musafir.com — Unprofessional service. | |||
I had booked a Spice jet flight from mumbai to bangalore with reference no m-77gw via Musafir.com. The same got rescheduled from 9.50am to 7.30am.. I was not given any intimation about the same. Also, after calling the help line number they tell me that the airline (Spicejet) is suppose to inform directly. I had given my personal mail id while booking the ticklets despite that musafir mentioned its own id for communication on the booking. Now still they say that airline should have communicated. I have never experienced such an unprofessional service in my life. I have booked through makemytrip and they do inform incase of any changes. After calling five times and speaking to 5 people and being on hold for more than 20mins i get the reply that we cant do anything. I was on a holiday trip with family and was going to mysore from bangalore on the same day. Some how after speakingto spice jet i could get a flight to coimbatore. My bangalore cab had to be cancelled and hence I had requested musafir for cab from Coimbatore to mysore that was denied upfront. They asked me to mail and complain, i did the that also immediately but no feedback from Musafir yet. Also i was told that we have no information of any changes in flight timing thats even more absurd. I had to incur 5000 rs plus my entire day got spoiled. I want to complaint against musafir. Horrible Service I must SAY.
While booking the air ticket through MUSAFIR.COM, I was entitled to cash back per ticket as per guidelines...which i did not
get for 15 days.
Post follow up i was said that the offer has expired and after re follow ups I was again refused with some insensible excuse.
Ultimately the discount / cash back was never received by me.
Misleading the customers.
Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware.
Better to route through Make my trip or Yatra/...expensive but profesionals.

Due to that my evening tickets of train wasted. Finaly after so much calls and conversations tgey told me to give back my money. I got a mail from there side to give me my money back butvthat is [censored] mail tgey not revert my money back. I am trying to contact them again and again but they not give answer of any question. Please dont use musfir for your flight bookings

My experience has been worse. The name of daughter got changed. I have lost the mandatory 1800 for the ticket + the convenience fee and something else by MUSAFIR. I didn't have even the basic courtesy of the so called return cal from them( auto -reply says 1 hour) . Even after 48 hrs, NO RESPONSE.

I requested them for a change of date as we were 6 months ahead and it was a genuine mistake but we were told that we will have to pay Rs 1500 per passenger per each way which made it Rs, 12, 000 in all plus they Rs 250 per ticket and Rs 750 as a facilitation fee.
so in all they charged us Rs 14750.
They could not convince Indigo airlines to even reduce the fee forget waiving it off and plus they did not even forego their own fee that too for cancellation for a genuine reason.
I decided not to re-book with them as they did not have the sense to understand my reasoning.
I would have definately convinced the airline if i would have booked with them directly, Musafir.com does not have a sense for customer service and how to retain a customer.
bye bye Musafir.com you have lost a customer forever .
also note that the website User interphase is outdated, i wonder a how a new website comes up with a outdated website design .
