I'm writing in regarding to refunds for Musafir. I sent them over 30 emails. They were also contacted on the phone in regarding to refunds for all charges they made ( without confirming trips ). All documentation and statements with proof of all charges were provided to them.

I am now asking that Musafir provide a refund of all charges as its’ illegal to keep money for not confirmed trips. Please refund all charges.

    Hi - I booked ticket for my parents from Del to new York from musafir.com and got a confirmation of successful payment and was waiting for the ticket. However, they didn’t book the ticket and are now coming back and saying we can’t honor your request now after ticket prices are up now. This site can’t be trusted and should be black listed in India. I want the compensation of price difference loss which I had to bear because of their mistake.

      To whom it may concern,

      I'm writing this complaint because one of your SR. Travel Consultant Hussain Sayyed is not responsive, most of the time I'm sending email to him ​it will take me several follow up email before he will response. The last email to him was almost two weeks but until today, I did not receive any response from him.

      I would like also follow up on my request refund# [protected] it was applied last August 10, 2021.

        After the rejection they will tell u, sorry sir u got rejection.
        Sir kindly increase ur bank statement and travel history.
        So after the rejection, u r telling me the right things.
        Especially this SO CALLED INTERNATIONAL VISA CONSULTANT SHAGUFEE RAKHNAGI, is only interested in getting the payment done to the company.
        After that u have to inform them that i paid u and u have complete my documentation.Making follow up several times.
        They are not interested in small customers.
        They have only colourful advertising and dead customer service.
        If it is ur hard-earned money, then think about it and do some research for the visa by urself.

          Dear Team, Musafir,

          After 7 exceptionally well customized holidays with you, it is now time for us to part ways. The last few days have depleted my finances, my energy, my time, my patience, and my faith in the quality customer service I attributed to you. It is such a shame.

          Let me clarify first off, I don’t have a problem with your policy, I understand that the grant of visa is not something you can guarantee. However, I want to spell out in no uncertain terms my displeasure for the mixed messaging, lack of communication and delayed response time, exceptionally slow turn around and lack of clarity of process and/or expectations. This is the first time I have had such a horrible experience with Musafir.

          For your information, I was considering my trip with Akbar Tours and Sun Tours at first, but changed my mind because I trusted Musafir more even though Musafir’s package was

          a) more expensive
          b) without all meals provided in the price range I chose

          My loyalty to your service, led me to choose you over other providers. I even recommended you to 5 other colleagues who needed a quarantine option to return to the UAE, please check.

          Strangely, it is so ridiculously uncanny that all my colleagues who travelled with Akbar and Sun Tours

          a) received their travel documents in advance
          b) received the details of their Armenia contact person in advance and
          c) are currently enjoying themselves in Yerevan

          I on the other hand had to follow up constantly for information and spend 1.5 hours at the airport off-boarding and clearing a range of procedures and having to explain that I was supposed to travel to Armenia even though I had no documents to prove it! When I made a request for some proof via WhatsApp, I received radio silence. On returning home at 2:00 am, Your team sent me a message to as ‘if they should send some documents by email’. Wasn’t that the expectation when I first got in touch after being made to exit the departure gate? This is what I mean by exceptionally slow turn around and lack of communication, and is only one of many examples I can but will not go on to provide.

          Please keep in mind all this took place against the backdrop of pandemic restrictions, curfew in Kolkata streets and exorbitantly priced PCR testing which is now of no use to me. I also have to find and make another booking to get back to the UAE.

          As travel advisors in a service industry – your role is to advise, to guide, to reassure us, to walk us through processes and possibilities. That is why we pay for you to do the planning for us. If we didn’t need your support, we would all be planning our own trips by ourselves. I have been to 23 countries in 14 years, I can do my own planning but I consciously select Musafir each time because for the last 7 countries I have been to, members of your team took care of all the details and allowed me to focus on my research, planning and my travel blog.

          Please understand I have no issues with any individuals, but this has been such an exceptionally poor-quality experience with your team that I am appalled at how the last few weeks have panned out.

          Kindly issue me the refund AED 7384 (Package + Domestic Fare Charge) so that I can close this chapter with Musafir once and for all. I would like to know when I can expect it, the faster the better.

          Once a loyal customer, now I am not so sure.

              I paid musafir.com 5200INR for Malaysia visa fees for my wife and kid on 28 dec 2019. But later as visa was not applied i called them to cancel my application and process my refund. Still after sending several mails to their support and several calls I have not received my refund. also they are not providing any update on email for status of my refund. Kindly help.

                Dear concerned,
                I took the 4d3n dubai package but it seems to me that they have charged me unnecessarily and at the last the agent name mr. Ayush mentioned that if you don't wanna take visa from them can go to other place and also being a couple plan they have charged me twice for the same room. Seems not worth for the money they have charged. Also the behavior and attitude of the agent once payment was made got completely changed. Also, not too responsive in taking care of the guests.

                  I apply usa tourist visa though musafir.com i paid 15000+ fees for visa mr. Amar shina not provide me any appointment ds160 form and payment receipt after 5 days i mail to mr amar shina regard my payment he not refund my payment. He is very unprofessional. I need my full payment refund asap. Musafir.com and mr. Amar shina not provide me any mail regarding my refund and i already mail again and again for my refund he not receive my phone and also not reply my mails

                    I booked schegen visa assistance from musafir.com for which they charged me 2800 per person for 4 persons. 1200 for assistance and 1600 vfs appointment charges. These people asked for advance payment of 11200 which I paid and further told Mee if at any point I want to cancel my services I will be charged cancellation fee of RS 350 per person . After the payment process I was not attended properly, my calls very not picked and my work was delayed Everytime I called they told me the representative I am dealing with is on off ..since my Visa process was getting delayed I asked them to cancel my service . After that they told me they would not refund any service charges and olny refund me RS 1600 per person that is appointment charges. Which was totally decisive and fraud. Moreover the agent who talked with me while introducing the package Mr Anup Kumar Gupta never appeared on call .after I made the payment. These people are fooling customers by making false statements and making money by wrong ways . Furthermore I made my refund request on 9th October and they told me I LL get my refund of 1600per person for 4 persons within 7-10 working days . Which I haven't received till now. I asked them to book my appointment on 5 Oct but they didn't respond my email not pick my call . Then I asked the same on 7th . Still it was not done . Their agent told me that he is calling in 10 minutes but he didn't called me back and I didn't get the desired appointment date nor the helped me out with managing the documents . The just sent me the list to required documents . Which is also available on vfs website . When the payment was to be made my call was picked in 2-3 minutes and emails were responded quickly. But after payment was done nor my calls were picked nor emails were responded. Their mismanagement and casual approach has costed me my dream holiday.

                      I had booked my Malaysia visa from musafir. And in return they completely cheated me and currently none of them are responding.Such unprofessional attitude was not expected.
                      Taking this matter further I had registered a complain at consumerhelpline (govt. Portal).
                      I have attached the same for further REFERENCE.

                      I had booked visa for Malaysia with reference no- M-5S6S8.
                      My travel date was on 18th August from Bhubaneswar to Kuala Lumpur.
                      I was provided with a error in visa from your executive for which I was denied from boarding the flight.
                      The very next day you rectified the visa by just editing it yourself for which I had to convince the immigration staff again at the airport.
                      For which again the representative from Musafir lied that it got rectified at Malaysian consulate.
                      Such kind o[censored]nprofessional service was not expected by Musafir.
                      After being denied for boarding then I had to wait at the airport for the whole night. Next day again I had to track and follow up with the airlines as well for all those things.
                      You had just provided me with an airline ticket after negotiating with your customer representative. Whereas I had to cancel all my further bookings and stay as well. I had to rebook all my itinerary again including flights and stay. So for your mistake I had to bear all these expenses and I expect a justified reimbursement from Musafir side. Being in a service industry how could you do this to your customers.

                      Please provide a justified reimbursement for the loss that I had to suffer. Hoping for justice and rightful customer experience from Musafir.

                        I applied for visa 1 month back. Before payment submission, I used to receive a call from Mr.Sameet Shetty, 4-5times in a day reminding me to submit my payment. Before applying, I literally checked with Sameet several times, if its sufficient time to get the visa processed and I always got a confirmed yes. Also, there was no guidance on documents and due to the ask for the confirmed Travel itinary and hotel bookings, I booked everything at an expense of 1Lac Rs.
                        Post payment submission, my file got transferred to Asmina Kazi, who after multiple follow ups, has not even bothered to answer my call once, The operator has a standard reply that she is buzy and visa is under application. I have been following up with Musafir team several times on the tentative date of visa availability but to no avail and with the pathetic customer service. They have no sensitivity towards consumer's money at stake. They are asking me to follow up with the Consulate myself without even sharing the relevant details and have no visibility on the status. I fail to understand the role that they have played in the entire process except for mentally harassing me and misusing my hard earned money. They just don't bother to respond and have completely messed up my application. Now who is going to reimburse me for the 1Lac I spent on bookings and the holidays I had planned.
                        Strictly, advise against their services as they are just to exploit you and your money, post that you will be the one following up and the return response would be that its under process and we can't do anything. Really disturbed by their disastrous customer service.

                          I contacted musafir.com on april 11, 2019 for schengen visa. I told the executive named akhil shetty (Visa officer) that i wish to visit multiple countries and would need their advice on preparing the itinerary. The intelligent person only took the payment and after that i had to follow with him and the team to help me with required documents.
                          Within minutes of sending the link, i made payment to start visa document process however i did not receive any help from musafir.com team. I had to prepare the itinerary, make hotels reservations and internal travel all on my own. I had to write multiple emails to them to get the medical insurance also.
                          Since they did not send me the complete documents in time, i missed my first appointment at vfs office. Next day also, they did not send me insurance documents till last minute and the one sent by maitree patil (Another visa officer) had incorrect details.
                          3 days before my scheduled departure, i received letter from german consulate that my visa has been refused due to incomplete documents. The letter mentioned that my ‘reason for visit’ and ‘return proof’ were not correct. The cover letter mentioning the reason for visit and return tickets were the only two documents that were prepared by musafir.com team for which my visa was refused.
                          Now the manager - yogesh mane has denied taking any accountability of the event and said that they already knew this would be rejected. At any point during my innumerable calls to them any of them told me that my visa could be rejected. Now they are not helping to resubmit the documents, nor they are refunding the amount i paid for insurance or the services they never provided.
                          I would still want to get my visa instead of refund as i have put a lot of money in bookings.

                            Dear sir,

                            I have booked service for china visa through musafir.com and my reference number is musafir booking reference m-5pmz8. I applied on 30th march & sent documents for china business visa on 1st of april, on 5th musafir team called me and said the scan copy of invitation is not acceptable and suggested me to process the tourist visa & agreed to them & sent the documents again for tourist visa. Till april 11th my application was not processed as china consulate was not allowing agents when i asked about solution musafir team said they can not confirm when will china consulate will allow agents & even they were not sure will my application will be processed then i requested them to withdraw my application and refund the amount they agreed too. After 15days i got refund email, but i was not full refund they deducted 4000 rupees when i called from china and asked the agent about 4000 rupees she said its charge of china consulate. When my application is not at all processed how can china consulate takes fees.

                            I asked for payment receipt from consulate but they can not provide it.

                            Requesting musafir management to look into this matter asap.

                              Contacted musafir on 3rd march made a payment on 5th march and had sent all documents prior to payment that was requested!!

                              There have been wrong forms sent and for small information required they do not call and resolve but mail and wait for a response.

                              The whatapp number they do not respond at all after the payment.

                              After continuous follow up i learn that there are no appointment dates available which was initially told is available due to which i had to cancel my trip!!!

                              Loss of money and time

                              And now for refund i have been calling and mailing for the last few days and have not even got a mail confirmation that refund is processed with the amount details.in one mail they are stating that they will charge me 7500 for the 3 visa stating service charge for the bad\no service provided

                              It as been very disappointing experience. Reference id : 3547916 - call me on [protected] for any more details.

                              Last update is mr hemant more has acknowledged the mail and i am waiting to hear the latest

                                I had booked a singapore visa application but i requested a refund and they said rs.350 would be deducted but i never got the money back. It has been over 2 weeks i am running for money. Mr. Amar sinha was the case handler. This is malpractice by the agency. As they never reply to me on whatsapp neither receive the call. I have attached couple of pictures in order to support....

                                I have applied singapore visa through musafir, stating that will get in 5 working days. They checked it and sent a mail air tickets missing, will i replied to that immedealty. After that no call back and no updates, when i ask aboit status they said need air tickets.. Such careless response. I have sent twice and asking them in mail and over call. No proper updates from them.. I have to travel in a week and still visa not ready..

                                Worst service ever i seen. Stongly disagree to suggest my friends.

                                  Musafir staff charges money to provide service but fails to do the same. They fixed our appointment on 9th nov at the visa office. However, they don’t provide the insurance details to the client. Above that the visa application form is incorrectly filled even after us filling up for them.

                                  There is noway our visa is going to get approved. Action asap.

                                    I submitted visa application for south africa after discussing with musafir last week and based on the discussion the representation ms. Suvarna asked me to send all the document to mumbai first so that she will verify. I had asked her to submit document to delhi sa embassy and not mumbai and she said she will check document and if everything is fine she will send to delhi for submission.

                                    The document reached to them on friday (19th oct 2018). The document was verified by her on monday (22nd oct 2018) where she never mentioned anything wrong in the document. She mentions that she will submit in mumbai sa embassy however i insisted to submit to delhi but she was very keen in submitting to mumbai.

                                    When all document was fine, she did not submit on monday (22nd oct 2018). Dont know why?

                                    They try to submit only on tuesday (23rd oct 2018) and then vfs representative rejects the form saying passport already has valid visa (I had one sa visa which was valid until 2019 which was issued to me based on work permit issue to my husband but now it had to be cancelled as my husband shifted company). So suvarna did not check this part. And i lost one more day. Also it was very surprising for me that she did not know what to do in this situation.

                                    I myself tried calling embassy and figured out the way. I edited my cover letter and asked to cancel old visa (As suggested by embassy) and issue new visa. Again i want to highlight that suvarna did not check documents before submitting to embassy. Suvarna had all documents now on 24th oct 2018 early morning on wednesday (24th oct 2018) but still she was not happy to submit it to embassy in morning but only wanted to submit in embassy in afternoon (Dont know why?)

                                    When person went to submit today (24th oct 2018) to vfs they say there is some issue with bank statement as it is e statement. But such statement was given by bank and i have been submitting such statement itself in all my visa. Again i would like to say suvarna did not check documents properly.

                                    In all these, i lost 3 days and my document is still not submitted. I need faster resolution to this as i need visa by next week at any cost as my ticket is booked.

                                    I expect some action will be taken on this at the earliest on urgent basis

                                      I have book ticket at 11:00pm, payment deducted but tickets not confirmed, also i have got mail that out representative will contact you shortly, but no calls
                                      And working hours mentioned in mail is 9:00am to 6:00pm but it's 9:11 am still no. Not reachable

                                      I have flight on 3:00pm today, my wife is sick i have cancelled train ticket but musafir don't even call if there is any issue so that i can book any other ticket...
