Key Features to Look for in a Resume:
• Does it come with the proper cover letter? This document can be almost as important as the resume.
• Is it free of spelling or grammatical errors? Sloppiness is the fast track to the wastebasket, and spellcheckers can't eliminate it.
• Does it use strong action verbs? Foggy terms like "facilitate" challenge the employer's understanding and memory.
• Is it fat-free? Has it stripped away clutter such as age, health, and "References available on request"?
• Does it highlight the heart of your career? In most cases, it should cover just the last 10 to 15 years.
• Does it have the right keywords? You'll need them to get past computer scans.
• Does it look attractive? Or does it resemble the legal notices in a paper? Insist on appealing use of white space, bullets, and boldface.
• Highlight the advantages of your background for employers.

Resume cover letters are the first thing a recruiter and hiring manager will see from you. We provide the professional cover letter builder you require, making your cover letter stand out from the pile. We prepare your cover letter as carefully as your resume itself. If you've hastily typed up a cover letter, it will up in the shredder, and you will never get a call to tell you why you didn't get the interview.
As a professional cover letter builder we increase the number of interview requests you receive. We will develop the cover letters you need, each customized for the company you are targeting.

Key features of Cover letter:
• Introduce you appropriately.
• Showcase you as an individual.
• Spotlight key strengths in your resume.
• Demonstrate your writing skill.
• Make the companies want to know more about you.
How do I make a good impression at a job interview?

Stand out for all the right reasons by ensuring you:

arrive on time or better still early;
are organised. Take your application letter, CV and examples of work (if appropriate) with you;
listen carefully to questions and answer them concisely;
highlight your best attributes in the interview. Before you go, think about what you want the interviewer to know about you (in relation to the job) during the interviewing process;
pay attention to the way you communicate. There's evidence to suggest that non-verbal communication overpowers verbal communication so if you describe yourself as confident and outgoing but speak inaudibly and avoid eye contact, the interviewer will read the latter as indicating a lack of confidence and disregard what you said about being confident;
practise anything you're concerned about. This could be saying your answers aloud, which builds confidence in hearing yourself speak, or having a trial run of the journey to the interview.

What techniques can I use to control my nerves?

In interviews, nerves can make you forget to do simple things such as smile and listen, which can result in being thought of as unfriendly or inattentive. You're more likely to be nervous if you're inadequately prepared so as well as following our advice above, you should:

give yourself time to think about what unique qualities you will bring to the job/organisation;
think of practical examples to demonstrate what you have achieved and draw upon all aspects of your working, educational and social life;
write notes and take these along to the interview;
use cues in your notes to highlight examples that you want to draw upon, such as 'cricket team', 'course representative', 'sales job';
be aware of the structure of the interview. Interviews often begin with topics that are easier to answer because you need less time to think, such as 'tell us about your studies at university';
pause before answering a difficult question in order to give yourself time to think;
use positive language, as interviewers will be assessing your motivation and enthusiasm;
ask for clarification if, at first, you're unsure of what the question means;
breathe.

                Yesterday i was contacted by someone claiming to be from naukri.com. They said that my resume has been shortlisted by 2 mncs. They asked me to pay a security deposit of 2900 rupees which would be refunded upon selection.

                Then they mailed me from this id : aditiroy. [protected]@gmail.com asking for my relevant documents. The mail looked very authentic and i replied.
                But i later got a doubt when i observed it's from a gmail id.

                Next, they mailed me asking rs. 6780 for document verification. Which is when i knew for sure this is a scam. I didn't reply to it but later this girl claiming to be aditi roa called me and asked for the money when i said i don't want to go ahead with this and want a refund of the initail 2900 she started getting rude and arguing with me.

                The part that concerns me is that she said i can see that you have applied to a number of jobs recently. This makes me doubt the privacy policy naukri.com has in place. How much of my data is public? Why are these scammers able to access my data so easily.

                This has been a very bad experience for me and now i'm considering not using naukri.com anymore. The data of the users has be be safeguarded better.

                    I received a call today from a lady named neha claiming that she is from naukri.com (Truecaller also mentioned "neha naukri"). Initially the lady asked me to mail her all the relevant documents for the interview including my updated resume, last semester's marksheet and a clear picture of mine on "[protected]@hr-naukri.com". Then she started asking me about my preferred job location and told me that she has some job opportunities which matches my profile and asked me to pay a sum of rs. 2500 as a security deposit which is refundable after 24hrs if i do not get through the interview process or else with the first month's salary of my new job. She asked me to pay through official naukri.com. She told me once i pay, they would schedule an interview with itc, amazon and indigo airlines (Bangalore domestic airport) as my resume got shortlisted by the company for the interview. After convincing me to pay, another lady took up the call and guided me how to pay the amount. Since coincidentally, there were some network issues, she forwarded a payment link on my registered phone number on whatsapp.
                    Here are the numbers that tried to contact me through calls and whatsapp claiming of being naukri.com employees:
                    [protected] (Truecaller: neha naukri)
                    [protected] (Contacted me on whatsapp)
                    [protected] (Truecaller: sonali pandey)
                    It is such a shameful thing to hear that inspite of the trust that the candidates have on naukri.com, they are still facing these kind of fraudulent activities and still there is no improvement in terms of reduction of such fake callers or any actions taken on them.
                    I hope the respected authority of the company takes some action soon on the above mentioned case or else i will have to take the case to the higher authority for a proper action.

                        Hi i received call from ms anjali from naukri.com whose phone no is [protected]. She asked me to pay 1500 as security money and it will be refundable and if i will not be able to clear online test or telephonic interview or personal interview then your money will be refundable. She organized an online test through mail then telephonic interview for me then i got mail that profile verification amount is pending so please pay the amount and the amount was 6500 they asked me to pay through paytm in a bank account.

                        They even sent me mail regarding the account opening and asked me to pay 10, 500 for account opening and it will be refundable in my hdfc account which will be opened by them only in72 hours.

                        After that i got my offer letter through mail and told me to printout and sign it and send the photo after that i got the mail that please send your complete confirmation and then you will receive your welcome kit at your home address and after that your job will be 100% confirm. Total amount is 20500 and your amount will be refund in 24 hours in your account. But i denied i told them that i don’t want any job and please refund my money then he said that it will be refundable in 24 hours. Then next day i got call and he said that your money will be refundable for that you have to pay 10, 000 but i denied they told me that your fill will be closed and your money will not be refundable if you don’t pay this amount. Total amount paid by me is 18500.

                        The process is still going on and now i realized its all a fraud since hdfc bank does not ask anybody to pay.

                        Please help me in refund.

                        They even sent me mail regarding the account opening and asked me to pay 10, 500 for account opening and it will be refundable in my hdfc account which will be opened by them only in72 hours .

                        After that i got my offer letter through mail and told me to printout and sign it and send the photo after that i got the mail that please send your complete confirmation and then you will receive your welcome kit at your home address and after that your job will be 100% confirm.Total amount is 20500 and your amount will be refund in 24 hours in your account.

                                My daughter registered on the web site of Naukri.com. After 2 days of registration, she got a call on 27-06-19 from mobile no.[protected] by Rohan and said to pay Rs.1650/-+GT (total Rs.1947/-) she paid in account no.[protected], account name Naukri services and IFSC code SBIN 0000300. Then again they called and said there will be a phone call interview from 'Accenture-Bangalore, you to attend. After Interview, again they called and said your phone call interview is successful. Now you have to attend face to face round for which you have to pay security fee Rs.9500/-+GST as the security deposit. They gave call after call and didn't give time to check and made to hurry. Accordingly, total Rs.11210/- has been paid. Again on 28-06-19 asked to pay security amount Rs.15901+GST(total Rs.18763/-) and they said, this will be refunded in second salary negotiable round. Again fourth time they asked to pay Rs.29500/- for account opening amount, which will be refunded in salary they said, but we resisted and didn't pay this amount. All the above amounts paid in the same account.

                                Our concern is how information is gone fraudsters hand when we registered only on www.naukri. com

                                We need either refund of our paid amount or claim on Naukri.com.

                                    I have received call today from [protected], at starting she asked for my details and according to her she was confirming if I have updated the right details or not. Then she said I have to pay INR 2500 to attend the interview. When I said naukri doesn't ask for money to set you up for interviews to my knowledge, she said for premium packages candidates have to pay to face the interview. Clearly it's a fake call but to naukri why don't you guys tighten the privacy.

                                      This complaint is against TFG holidays, as they had a job posting on Naukri.com. When I contacted the number provided, the lady convinced me to pay Rs. 5850 with a guaranteed salary of Rs. 22500 on completion of the target. I will be honest that I was not able to fulfil the target and I only got Rs. 250 for the job I did, which is not the problem. My sponser Ms. Reshu Agarwal promised me that I also get a holiday package with the purchased program, which she said I can get any time after 7 daysof my registration and then when I texted her she said it is supposed to be after the 1st month, I still kept quiet and now after a month she is ignoring my texts. Naukri.com is a job search portal which a lot of people depend upon and allowing such fraudsters to post their jobs spoils the reputation. I am now worried to even look for a job on the website.
