Nissan Motors — Non delivery of cars booked.

Hello,
I booked 2 Nissan Magnites(xe) on the 10th of December 2020 at Neo Nissan, Moti Nagar, New Delhi.

Was promised that id get delivery in February, in February was told there's a lot of backlog, orders are overwhelming and cars are being delayed by 2 months, then the sales persons kept on changing and we were told that once the car is in stock we would be contacted.

I received email during shradhs/ October 2021, to take delivery (silver colour..! I booked both cars in white) or my booking would be cancelled, I called em up n mailed back that how do you expect me to take delivery during shradhs as it's inauspicious, I can take delivery in Navratras (both mails at bottom), then we were changing homes and upon contacting the dealership I was told the colour I booked isn't available. I booked 2 cars in white.

I agreed to take one in silver if white isn't available, which again was never in stock with dealership in October 2021 when we enquired.

In between we didn't had a valid kyc as we were shifting from delhi to gurgaon which was shown to the dealership with documentary proof and provided when we visited the dealership 4-5 times for inquiring delivery status, they didn't have a car then too, when I told em the car can be registered at the old address too.

Now since last 2 months I'm told we will be updated bout the status on the 7th of each month as that's when they get the delivery schedule of vehicles, last month when I visited the showroom, I offered to make more advance payment for both the cars which they said they can't accept as cars aren't available.
i was told there aren't any xe variant in dispatch I can opt for a higher variant at new price, which I disagreed to, they told me to inquire in December, I kept in touch over the phone with the sales person, n was repeatedly told to buy higher variants at new prices against both the bookings. Or wait till 7th December for status to be cleared.
I called the showroom today (being 7th December) n was told there aren't any xe variants coming and can opt for a higher variant or buy a new car at new price. I told them it's their duty to fulfill the delivery promised, I've waited for a whole year for the same and I was told they can't help it, was told either to buy higher variants of car at new price, or wait till 7th january 2022, which clearly exceeds the price protection promised at the time of booking and today he bluntly told me now id have to by the xe variant at inflated price.

I told em id contact Nissan India, and was again very bluntly told I can do that too.

Outta curiosity I just tried to check my delivery schedule online n to my surprise my number isn't there in records, meaning the dealership has cancelled my booking without notifying me n was giving me false hopes to wait till December or forcing me to buy higher variant at new prices as that's what's available.

I'm attaching a screen shot of the delivery status notification which I sent to the sales person too, he has seen it long back but didn't bother to revert. Clearly shows that this was being done intentionally, else he would've atleast replied as I put an allegation that my bookings have been cancelled without my knowledge.

I would like to know if this is morally and ethically correct to do.
Upon waiting for a complete year this is where it leaves me, disgruntled and cheated by the dealership!?!

I look forward to an honest review of my situation n provide me with the delivery of both my cars.

The customer service is very slow at Nissan India end. I still haven't got a satisfactory answer from dealership or Nissan India. Dealership still says that cars aren't available.
