For a while now the volume of my nokia E51 has reduce that i barely get what the other party is saying. So i dont know what next too do although the volume is at maximum there isnt no change

same happened to me, take front cover off, clean around speaker, then with a small pointy tool, ie whats in a screwdriver set, put two small holes in the front cover where it covers the speaker from the inside, then the outside, small holes that you cant see.It worked for me on a phone off ebay, obsv a non geniune cover, but dirt build up will do the same.

    ur nokia care near zoom hotel rk road is running from very bad condition .whenever i go there they take minimum 3 hours too resolve ur complaint .it happen becoz there is only 2 desks & there is persons they take too much time to solve the one customer complaint. i only ask that pls creat 2 more desk to help us serve better . now i want o replace my battery but i worried about how much time they taken so i dont go there to think of that

        Hi Nokia,

        I have purchased nokia e71 in the month december 27th. For first 4 months it function really good ther was no probelm, but after that it started giving trouble like the phone should get hang and then it started getting on & off on stand by mode. I went to my retailer i.e. The Mobile Store, they were also not able to help me out, when i complained them they said that they are not reponsible for any problems happening with handset, they are just there sell the nokia products. After that i went to nokia care they said its software issue and they upgraded the software, but the problem still persist. Then once again i went to nokia care they ask me to keep the phone for 18 months. When i refeused to do that they said they will not be able to help me. I asked for replacement of handset, they said it is not possible. After lots of argument they said they will resolve my problem within 10 days. Then i gave my phone for repairing on 25th June and know today is 8th july still I have not got my phone back. I check the status of Job sheet on website it says the problem is resolved. Then I called up the nokia care people they said the mobile is not yet returned from delhi headoffice, I have to wait for more 10days.

        Nokia I dont think you people are really looking into this mails and trying to resolve this problems. Nokia is just to provide a worst quality products. nokia is meant to suck money from people.

        We should all boycott the nokia products.

        Nokia E 71 Mobile — Defect in the mobile

        We have purchased a Nokia handset (model E71) grey steel [protected] from Univer Cell, number P.KOR/2805 dated 22.08.2009. However we have observed that during some of the received calls, the system hangs and no key including the on - off switch functions. We have to again remove the battery and then the system functions.

        On the advise of the dealer, we had taken the instrument to Nokia service centre and the software was reloaded. However the defect continued and again the software was reloaded for the second time and the memory card was formatted. However the problem is still existing.

              Sir,
              My wife Smt. Parvinder Kaur had purchased a mobile phone of Nokia (Model 6300) last year. After delivery date, it started performance problems which were brought into the notice of Nokia Co. at its Nokia Care Service Centres. From January 2009 onwards the same problem is being repeated and the hand-set was again shown to Nokia Care Centre, Patel Nagar, Near Police Station. They kept the hand-set for a long time i.e. more than 15 days, after repeating requests telephonically, they hand it over to me but the problem was not rectified. The same exercise took place in the month of February, 09, the same attitude was adopted by the company staff (Mr. Hemant and one more staff) and after a period of more than a fortnight the set was handed over to me with the same problem. Now, as on date, the same set is still with them vide job sheet No.[protected]/090608/41 dated 8th June 2009. Two weeks back I was called upon to collect the handset. I was shocked when an another handset, which was roughly used, had been offered to me instead of my original one with the remarks that the body and the machinary have been changed by the company as the original one was not repairable.
              Sir, all it happened without my consent. When I requested them to handover me the same handset which is mine, the staff ignored me by saying that it could not be possible because it is the company's decision to replace your set to old one.
              During my visits and telephonically discussions, Mr. Hemant, Ms. Babita and one other staff provoked me to make a complain in Consumer Forum by saying that there will be nothing except delay, so, it will be better for you to accept the other old hand set.
              As the handset is under warranty, the company has not charged any charges for repairing.
              Sir, it is my humble request to please intervee in the matter and the company may please be directed to give my handset back after repairing and, if replaced, a new set of the same cost may be delivered to me immediately.

                I was travelling from bus 459 at 1930hrs on 23.06.09 from Panckkuti to Shyam Nagar. When he bus reached Hiranandani stop I discovered that my cell phone is missing. then I made a call to my number, it was not reacheble.

                I Lodge a complaint in Powai poloce Station for same on 24.06.09. Yet I havent received any feedback from same.

                  Actually my phone is in under warranty and giving problem related with speaker and i went to three nokia care at
                  1st they told me tht they dont have parts of it so they refer me to another Nokia care.
                  on
                  2nd Nokia care they told me that they dont have data cable of it and again refer me to another nokia care
                  and finally on
                  3rd nokia care they told me that "your key pad color is faded so that your mobile is out of warranty now" but my mobile is in warranty now and that guy was talking vary rudely.

                    I experience the worst service from Nokia Care. My nokia E51 Mobile (IMEI-[protected]) having some call drop problem. Had disused with Vodafone regarding this issue and replaced the SIM card. Problem not sorted out after that I called your Nokia Care Line[protected].







                    As suggested by Nokia Care-line I am tried to update my software at home but due to some problem I am not able to update the Mobile software (error massage attached with the Mail). And Nokia Care Line informed me to contact the nearest Nokia care.



                    As per Nokia Care Line instruction visited nearest nokia care infotel Services and at that time they informed me that left side of keypad having liquid issue and now mobile are not cover under warranty the same was confirmed by Nokia Care Line. After discussion with Nokia Care I am agreed for Mobile repair by paying Rs. 330.00.







                    But when I get back my phone I found that ON-OFF switch got damaged, LCD having lots of dust and Keypad was not properly screwed, they not only refuse to repair the system also blamed that my mobile on-off switch was faulty. The behavior of Nokia Care representative was very rude and non-cooperative.



                    I was back from Nokia Care to my office and called Nokia Care Line from[protected]/300, 44010250/251 and informed the problem. I was already informed the every step to Nokia Care Line[protected].



                    As disused with Nokia Care Line I visited another Nokia Care Arya InfoTech. Engineer Reported following problem.



                    Physical Condition of Set is Not OK

                    Physical Condition of PCB is Not OK (Tempered)

                    I want to know that is tempering required in updating of software. I was busy in the election process that the reason I was not able to write a mail to you.

                    Nokia — Faulty mobile set E51

                    Dear Sir

                    I bought a new E 51 from M/s Party People, Ludhiana on 18/04/09. Invoice No. 465 dated 18.04.09

                    In about two week's time, two buttons on the set stopped working. On 09/05/09 I took the set to the above said seller who forwarded me to Nokia Care, Model Town Extension, Ludhiana.

                    The lady at Care Centre informed me after checking the set that some liquid has seeped into the key pad and the same will have to replaced against payment since the fault is not covered in the warranty.

                    Owing to total trust and thereby their Care Centre, I readily agreed for the same. The lady in question was Ms. Neeru and was very cordial and polite.

                    On 12.05.09 I received my set back seemingly repaired. I was handed over an invoice for Rs. 1000/- which was surprisingly not in the name of Nokia but a private party called Mobile People.

                    After using the phone for further two days, a worse snag appeared wherein some switches stopped responding whereas others were responding even without pressing. All in all the mobile had become quite unusable, one could not dial any number without the unwanted digit / function coming on screen on its own. Since I was out of Ludhiana and came back on 18.05.09, I went to Nokia Care again yesterday, 20.05.09 and approached Ms. Neeru. She assured me that since I have already paid for same problem once and that too when the set was only purchased one month back, it would be repaired free of charge. I was asked to wait for some time at Centre itself. After waiting for about an hour, I was told that repairs were taking some time and I would receive a call whenever it was finished. That was about two o' clock yesterday.

                    Today I went to the Centre again not having received any calls, this time I was talked to by a different lady who very rudely informed me that since there's liquid inside the phone, I will have to pay repair charges. I tried to tell the lady that I had bought the phone only on 18/04 and have already paid Rs. 1000/- for same problem only two days before the problem reappeared. She was not willing to listen. My submission in the whole case is :

                    1. Why should liquid reappear only two days after getting the same repaired? I don't go swimming, use the phone normally, have been doing so since 2002.

                    2. Why was I told yesterday that the repair would be done free of charge and when I went to collect the set today, I was told that I would have to pay when the set had been examined properly even yesterday?

                    3. Why should I pay for getting a new set repaired for something I don't have any hand in causing? I took the responsibility first time that maybe because of my incorrect usage, some liquid had seeped in, but I can assure you, after paying money for the same, I was extra cautious of the problem next time around. Is it possible that in two days, a problem far worse than before should occur because of my incorrect usage, I don't think so.

                    4. When I am giving my set at a Nokia Care, why am I getting invoice of some private player called "Mobile Super Market" (Invoice No. 351993 dated 12.05.2009 for Rs. 1000/-). I think these people are running a racket under the name of Nokia which has people's trust.

                    And I must tell that the lady I encountered today was so rude and unprofessional that in my anger I left both the repair slip and the set (alongwith back cover and battery) there at the Centre itself.

                    You are requested to intervene in the matter and it is my request to you that I don't want to take a Nokia set any more. It seems that the days when Nokia used to be the preferred brand are going to be over soon, at least I was a die hard fan of the mobiles under this brand name, not any more. You are kindly requested to reimburse the money I had paid for the set in the first place Rs. 11, 300.00,
                    I am not asking for the amount I have paid for repairs Rs. 1000.00 and for numerous visits I have paid to Nokia Care wasting time and money on the efforts. My phone no. is [protected] Phone Numbers of the Nokia Care Centre are [protected] and [protected]

                      I hv purchesed a nokia phone from Newyourk mobile centre, lalbazar, kolkata, wesbengal, india. When i open this pack it is faulty, fm not working. The nokia care of AM mobile service centre, p-34, princep street, kolkata, toid me to repair it, after 3 days they back me my mobile as it is repaired, but when i chaked it it was same fault coming. They keep my mobile again, still now i can not get my mobile, please do sonething.

                        Sir,
                        I have purchased Nokia 1203 handset on 02.06.2009 at Chennai. Right from the first day the battery standby not withstand not even 24 hours. the battery fully discharged within 12 hours. I handed over the handset at "Nokia care", Jothi Communication, 25/11, Evening Bazzar, park town, parrys,
                        Chennai-600003 (Job card No.31646550/090609/47, dt. 10.06.2009). After service the Nokia care centre returned the handset after a week. Thereafter the same problem happened again. I had again handed over the set to the above Nokia care centre (Job card No.31646550/090609/47, dt. 20.06.2009). The sent was returned to me on 03.07.2009. But the problem in the set has not been rectified. It is now known what the Nokia care centre is doing. I am sending the mail with so much of frustration.                         We bought a Nokia 1203 G.Silver model from Planet M Showroom but from the very first day we are facing problem of sound coming from both ear piece as well as from loudspeaker. We had given this set for reparing in Nokia Care center in Ludhiana but we didn't get any satisfactory feed back from the Nokia care center and as well as from Planet M. They said that this is a problem at manufacturing end and they can't help us .after that i send email to nokia but we got no reply from nokia end.Please help us to overcome this problem .                         Nokia 1203 — Traumatic Experience

                        Sir/Madam,

                        This is to bring to your notice that I, Ajoy Sarkar, presently residing at Mithapur, Patna had purchased a Nokia 1203 model on 09th Septemmber,2009 from a Nokia authorized dealer ‘Planet Emporium’ at Boring Road, Patna. Within six days of the purchase date, from 16th September morning, the handset went out of order. It’s neither getting charged nor showing any display on its screen. On 18th I have contacted the same dealer and another Nokia authorized service centre (Nokia Premium Care/Ganapati Mobiles), Boaring Road, and I am being told that the handset has been damaged with water and for which there would be no warranty/guarantee. They have returned me the hand set without repairing (complain no. 8 dated[protected]. But ever since I bought the set I had it wrapped in the packet box for the most of the time and there was no question/possibility for the set to come in touch of water..

                        Battery of my new handset works for hours only.
                        I purchased a new handset nokia 1203 IMEI no. 352004/04/323883/7 battery no[protected]R202J10508229 on date 13/7/2010 from seema Telecom geeta colony.
                        First speaker of this phone was not working properly for which this was repaired in your care centre at laxmi nagar.
                        Secondly its battery works only for hours after getting fully charged, while this is not assured by nokia co.
                        After contacting with your laxmi nagar care centre at tel no. 4309911, they asked me to leave the battery for checking & if this is faulty this will take about seven days to replace. No substitute of battery will be provided by nokia. How will a person do for 7 days without any fault of mine.

                        Costomers has to wait for hours to tell there complaint at your costumer care because of rush of complainants.

                        Please arrannge a substitute battery for my new handset & give me the new battery. I will suggest to give prompt service to costomer to keep up the reputation of Nokia Mobile.

                          i had given my nokia 5800 express music phone for repairs on its display on the 17th of june'09 to the nokia care centre in bandra west.they assured me that it is a display problem and said i would receive it the next day.however on approaching them the next day they said something else was wrong with the phone and coldn't be repaired here so had to be sent to nokia head office delhi for repairs. i agreed on the terms that it would be back after 7 days. however after 7 days they said it has not yet come, please come back after 2 days...n then 2 days...n then 2 days...its been over a month now and they even refuse to tell me what the problem with the phone is and again saying come and collect it after 2 days.

                          i request u to please help me out with the same.

                          nokia 5233 — DELAY IN REPAIRING OF MOBILE

                          Hi all,

                          its again a shame for the leading mobile manufacturer NOKIA who is again in the news regarding the poor and irresponsible for their customers.

                          I had purchased a NOKIA 5233 on 01.07.2010...it worked fine for about 3.5 months but by the end of the nov month by hanset occured a problem where in the battery wasn't getting charged and neither the diaply was there on teh screen.

                          The mobile was purchased from BABALAL JI STORES in A BLOCK SAHIBABAD..
                          the shop owner assured me that the mobile would get repaired by 1 month.
                          so i expected my handset to get repaired by the end of dec 2010...but now it is the middle of the feb month and the nokia service centre is still resolving that issue..

                          whenevr i go the shop(baba lal ji stores), he advises me to ocme after 2 days or 3 days, when evr the next visit is made he agains advices to come around 5 days later..

                          i dont think a company like nokia who has a good image in the international market needs to their customers in this way...

                          as assured by the babalalji shop owner, i would get my mobile by 08.02.2011.still the story is same..
                          i havent faced such kind of pathetic services in my life..

                          I urge all the people authorised in NOKIA to kindly get my mobile repaired ASAP or else i would surely take this to CONSUMER COURT.....

I contacted Nokia Care Centre at Kapurthala (Opp Bus Stand)as well as Jalandhar near BMC Chowk. Kapurthala Nokia centre demanded Rs.850/- for its repair even it is within warranty period. I deposited my mobile with Kapurthala Nokia Centre. After four days they refused to repair and given me back asking to report at Jalandhar Nokia Centre. They I contacted Jalandhar Nokia Centre on 09 March 2011 they have given me the repair estimate amount Rs.1000/- After 10 days when I enquired from them they demanded Rs.2500/-. Then they refused to repair it with a Zig Zag manners . Sir What I should do no where I should go now. The individuals of Nokia Care Centre are spoiling your name and fame. Sir please reply me soon as I am very depressed as Iost my huge amount to purchase the Nokia Mobile or otherwise.

                            Hello,

                            I bought Nokia 5310 express music mobile from Mobile Stores, Kalyani Nagar, Pune in February 2009.with in One month of buying the mobile, display got damaged and I was not able to view anything in the mobile.Then I took it to the Nokia service centre, Golebar maidan, Pune.After having 4 visits to the showroom and vexed up with the service, my mobile display got repaired.Now after 2 months again today the display got damaged and now also same problem that i was not able to view anything, but i am getting calls and m able to do calls.Within 6 months of buying the mobile, twice the mobile got damaged.
                            Now my mobile is in warranty and iam able to get the service from nokia for free.But if the problem still persists after the warranty expires, then I can't afford the costs for this repairing.Is this model a faulty one? Can I have my mobile replaced with another new piece?Please respond to this as son as possible.

                            nokia5310 — nokia display issue

                            I brought Nokia 5310 phone on Feb09 and since am facing the diplay issue, disply changed for last week still same problem.THis time when it again went out of service i asked them for replacement as my phone is a brand new phone with a proper bill but Nokia Care centre flatly refused.

                            My query is that if it is justified that if there any 1 in 100's phone is a faulty phone from the beginning itself and the same cannot be replaced with a new handset...

                            Where is the fault of the customer...who had put in their entire belief on the authenticity of the nokia Product...

                            Cant they accept their one fault...and get it replaced...

                            so people like this make your name up,but the branch like akshar chowk & the peoples in the branch make your name dirty.Now my problem is solved & please tell the some peoples to behave good with customers.

                                I brought a Nokia 5610 mobile in the month of April 2008.Since then I have been facing many problems with that mobile.Every time I face the problem, I gave my mobile to Devatha Communications, a Nokia Service care, here in kukatpally, Hyderabad.Every time I handover my mobile to service, they kept it for 15-20 days.How can you expect me to be without a mobile for 15 days and that too for multiple times?Still the problem continued.As this was not the only work I have, I beared the problem and continued to use the same mobile.Finally, I spoke to Regional Manager and got the mobile repalced on the month of September, 2008.The problem continued even with the new piece.Even then it continued to give the same old problems for which I took the mobile for servicing in Devatha communications.The same story repeated.They kept my mobile with them for almost 15 days saying that it is at the L3 service center and finally returned the piece to me.Even then same problems
                                continued.I am very much fedup with this service and I beared the problem and continued to use the same mobile. And now, my mobile screen suddenly turned off on the mobile that was replaced on september.When asked the same, Devatha Communications replied me saying Display screen was gone and new one costs around Rs.2100.And they asked me to call after 2 weeks to know about the availability of Display Screens. I should find out if there are any Display Screens availble at the center, if they say 'YES', then I need to give my mobile again to get a new display screen giving Rs.2, 100.They lost the mobile bill which I gave it for the first time I've submitted my mobile for servicing.When asked for a reason why the problem has been repeating from a long time, they replied me "I have told already told Madam, to sell this mobile and get a new piece".I got such an reckless answer.How can a Company with such an market share be irresponsible with the customers.I gave a complaint to nokia care about this once, and I got a reply that we will respond in 24 hours.But, I didnt get any call from the customer care.What do you expect me to do now???
                                My display screen on mobile was lost and I'm unable to contact others.

                                I have took the hand set to the service center lots of times and they asked to leave the set with them for almost 15-20 days each time I leave it there which is a high time inconvinience for me.I have also comminicated with email support as well as the phone support which is not at all helpful.
                                Is there anyone who can respond on this. Please respond ASAP.

I am getting connected with my phone but unable to install driver for modem. I am able to connect internet via bluetooth modem of the same set. But I want to connect by usb modem of Nokia 2630. Is there any solution for me?

                                      N 72 — Replacement of Mobile

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      IF there was liquid damage on the mobile nothing can be done. I think as there has been severe rainfall in Bombay which might have caused this liquid damage to Mr Gorale's phone. Mr Gorale whenever u use any kind of costly electronic gadget make sure there would not be any liquid damage on that.
                                      Even im facing the same problem with my N72 mobile however my mobile is out of warranty.
                                      I cannot afford for the repair. Hence planning to go for a new mobile.
                                      Can any technician suggest which would be the best mobile which has the basic features like good music, good camera, fast messaging, with 2-4 gb inbuilt memory and nice processing speed, which would not hangup while using multiple tasks. I would appreciate the suggestion.

                                      I am sorry to have to contact you like this, but I need your answer as soon as possible.

                                      My father received a text message on his cell stating that he has won 1, 000, 000GBP in the nokia 40yrs celebration. He was told not to call he should email to claim winnings.

                                      However, we did that and got an address to that of, Trans Express Courier services. I emailed them and told them what I told you.

                                      They replied that the are a going to deliver the winnings to us but we had to pay 350GBP to receive it, as they can not take that fee out of the winnings, and we have ten days to claim the prizes.

                                      We are living in Jamaica and we have heard of people being scammed. that money is over 52, 000JMD please reply and let us know if nokia is doing such things, I need a reply soon.

                                        while charging my nokia E71, under warranty purchased on 14th april 2009 from a authorised dealer, on 4 th july 2009 at 9 pm the device became extremly hot, unable to touch and the entire screen was smogged. imidiately i switched off the cell and will now approach nokia service station at andheri east on 6th july 2009 and expect a definate replacement of the device immediately
