I have purchased a NOKIA CELL PHONE 7610 Model ON 11.05.2009, INVOICE NO.1023 DRoyal Communications Kurnool. Andhrapradesh.-518002. Since purchase of this cell phone there is a FM Radio loud speaker problem, immediateliy i given in the Nokia Care Kurnool, But the problem was not rectified. In this situation what can i do and whom to contact for rectification and replacementof my cell phone. It is there fore I requerst you to give suggestion for rectifying problem or replacing of New cell phone.

Nokia/Cell phone7610 — Guarantee

Sir/Madam

I bought the nokia 7610 model 20 days before. I was lost my guranty(bill slip). Now cell phone's problem(hearing problem) found. What can i do now? Please help and guide me at till your end.

    Dear Sir,
    I purchased one mobile telephone set type no. NOKIA-3110C1GB (Lot no.[protected]) from Hotspot Mobile store, Shop no.C-2/14, Rana Pratap Bagh. Delhi-110007.Vide their Invoice no. [protected] dated 24/06/09, and paid Rs.4000/-.

    The mobile was having some manufacturing defect in its ON/OFF Switch, but dealer convinced that you will not face any operational problem, it will be smooth later on, and we have given you this item Factory sealed so you will not face any problem, any how I got convinced with his views and put the phone in my use.

    After a use of only one week, it started giving problem; it gets off automatically, and became unreliable as it gets off without my knowledge.

    I showed it to the dealer from I purchased, he asked me to contact nearest NOKIA CARE Centre, I visited Chaitanya Communications, 920-22, I-Floor, Clock Tower, Subzi Mandi, Delhi-110007, after inspection they said the switch is broken and your item is therefore out of warranty, and the service centre charges Rs.55.15 on account of Inspection charges. Surprisingly the service centre could not show any visible damage or broken or any harm to the set. It looks that the switch has some manufacturing defect and it stops operating with a small jerk or vibration.

    Now my submission is that I started facing such a ticklish problem without availing any satisfactory services from this item.

    Now I request you to get this defective item replaced free of cost and also ensure refund of Rs.55.15 service charges which your service centre charges wrongly from me.

    Acknowledge it, and looking for your immediate attention.

    Nokia — selling of defective set

    this is one big blunder i committed in chosing 3600 slide,just banking on the brand name.. last year i purchased this set, one month later it got dead it was repaired , again it got dead, again repaired, its battery including the memory card were replaced, finally the set itself was replaced due to my long persuation and its regular errors, 9 months later the cell again got dead... now technically exceeding the so called warranty.... i was charged Rs.780 for just reformatting it, no part was changed... again the cell has started showing wrong signs within 7 days... is it my error to buy a new launch by nokia?? how long do i keep on paying 780 Rs. every month to keep my cell in working condition. i have all the job sheets and the bill.
    please kindly look into this matter.
    this is more than a harassment that every time you have a fear that your set might collapse and you become a regular visitor to nokia care... for no fault of yours, but for the fact the company sold a defective set.
    the amount of discomfort caused by such problems can neither be satiated by a sorry nor cash compensation.

    Nokia India — SELLING DEFECTIVE PRODUCT

    i am drafting this mail about my rather unfortunate experience with an e71 mobile phone purchased from mobile store trivandrum on 9th of May 2009. I have always been a nokia customer and my previous phone was an e series itself which lasted me nearly 3 years. I made a call on my e71 and it just got cut out. Since then it has not switched on. I always kept my phone serviced and updated. I took the phone to nokia care pattom and they mentioned that the board had failed. It has never had any accidents, no water damage, etc and it was always kept in a travel blue mobile pouch, they have denied me the repair and mentioend that i wont get a warranty for that and also mentioned that there is no point in repairing this phone. This is not at all acceptable. A 20k worth phone failing after 1 year o[censored]se is not expected. It seemed like it was programmed to fail after 1 year o[censored]sage. I need to get a motherboard replacement or the phone itself to be replaced and am not ready to bear any cost involved since as a customer i dont think i have been treated fairly. I could have passed it on as hard luck if it was say a few months down the lane. But this is just a few days out of the warranty. I am happy to send the phone anywhere for a thorough inspection and am sure you will also agree to the fact that the phone is in immaculate condition.

    Nokia India — Defective Nokia E71

    Dear sir,
    I Ajay Malviya working as a manager Sales at Mahindra Dealership in Allahabad, from last one and half year I was Using a HTC P 3400 windows mobile, but while I made a decision to change it I decided to go for the world’s best renowned company Nokia product I read all the feedbacks reviews etc. for choosing the set which fits for my needs and come in my budget. I found the Nokia E71 which was fulfilling all of my needs and also suits to my budget. So finally I bought a Nokia E71 containing IMEI number [protected] on 5th of August’2010. But I was unaware that I am buying the problems in the terms of this set. From day 2 it starts hanging. While I tried to dial 2 numbers it hanged, I reported to the retailer he suggested me to upgrade the software through PC suite. I did the same but it didn’t worked when I returned back to the retailer he said that this is the common concern with this model. Then I tried to compromise on it, because I didn’t had any option. On 6th of october’2010 I was speaking to one of my colleague and that call stretched to around 45 minutes but at last he compelled that he is not hearing me, I at once dialed 2 – 3 other numbers to checkout that is it a network problem or else and finally I found that the microphone of my handset is not working at all. I reported to local nokia care centre on 8th of october’2010 for the solution they treated me very well and they told that they need to send it to Delhi for repair job because they don’t have the facility to do the same at local level. I was helpless so I did as they told me after 13 days on 21st of October I got a call that my set is ready and I can collect it from nokia care centre. I rushed to the nokia care and collected my set I asked the delivery person to check the same but he said that he don’t have the battery and he assured that nokia believes in first time right approach and seeing the nokia image which I had in mind forced me to get the set back without checking . but when I returned back to my home I found that I really need to speak loudly to talk with someone. I was really shocked I found several scratches on the navigation key of my set. The Nokia claim of first time right was seeming failure, and I again I have to send back my mobile to the nokia care and wait for another 15 days to get my set back. While purchasing I got a three month free GPS navigation key. But I t seems that one month will be waste due to repair time and I have to undergo through mental stress also. I wish to have a prompt reply from nokia care or else I will bound to go to the consumer forum.

      Hello Friends,

      I am happy that such portals exist for expressing your views on a product/ service.

      I had purchased a Nokia phone 2255 a year back. It never gave me any problems till 12 month of the purchase. But in th e12th Month, it developed a serious automatic on off problem, the flap phone was not functionnong.

      I decided to take the same to a customer care center in my area, was surprised to know that there was only one in Andheri for CDMA handsets. I was made to wait for 2 hrs. They opened my phone turned a few screws here and there and then said that its a level 2 problem and they cant touch the same, I would have to go to peninsula customer care repair center to repair the same.
      when my turn came, was promptly instructed that the phone is out of warenty period and that they would charge me 1000 rs to touch the phone and 3000 to repair the same.
      I called the customer care number and informed them of the issue, the lady told me that there is a 20 days extended warenty by default. Even though the same was communicated to the repair guy at the center, he did not address my complaint.

      Since, I had purchased my phone from an authoirised Nokia priority dealer, yet was given a shabby treatment. I did feel cheated that for a factory defect., a consumer had to pay for the pain and undergo a agony .

      My community has decided not to buy NOKIA products in future. So be carefull of buying them. I am not saying all this to discourage you form buying, but bring to your notice the pathetic service which may be in store for you also.
      I have switched to a different brand and found the service nuch better and professional and customer friednly

      This is with regret i have to inform you that my set has developed problems the day it was purchased from, it first developed problems with the keys nad was not able to use the navigation keys as well as the number keys, took it to nokia care they fixed the problem and said it would not occur again.Later it started dialling numbers on its own once the slider was operated again it was taken to the nokia care and they fixed it again, now this is the third time it developed a snag in the camera and the image fades when the flash is ON now they have kept it with them to rectify that.The demo games are also not working and is giving problems there in.
      I am sure that a faulty set has been given to me and i have lost the trust in the current handset. The Product code is 0558083.It has been currently given to the Nokia Care at 30/28, East Patel Nagar, N.Delhi and the Job Sheet no is APAINY[protected]. Since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

      nokia1200 — delay in work & charging more than estimated value..

      My mobile model-nokia1200, EMI number [protected] is been given in nokia care { telesphere, sco no.385 first floor, sector-8, panchkula } from 18th of january and till 15th of febraury they didn't repaired my mobile.The estimated expenditure given by nokia care was rs.500 and now they are asking for rs.800 which is more than 80% of the current value of new mobile.i need your response as soon as possible otherwise i have to knock the doors of consumer court...

        respected sir,
        i bought a nokia 6233 handset from hotspot centre paschim vihar on 15july 2008 and even paid for the care pack that gives 2 year warranty against liquid and physical damage.there occured a problem with my handsfree jack and i gave my phone for repair on 6th july 2009 and got it back unrepaired on 15 july 2009.i showed my phone at nokia care and they told me there is a problem with the headset jack and my phone has not been repaired at all.i have again submitted my phone and the executive is not ready to acept that i have got my phone unrepaired and they have not even provided me a standby phone which is posing a problem for me.the people there at hotspot are not listening at all.i hope you would my consider my problem resolve it soon.

          Earlier i TRUST Nokia but now Nokia has made me to never TRUST Nokia.
          I have purchased Nokia 6600 Slide on 26 November2008 from SukhiJa Traders, Raja Park, Jaipur, Rajasthan (Invoice No.: 5241), Its IMEI No. is: [protected].
          The day i have purchased that mobile i am facing lots of problems.
          You can check in your records that this mobile has been repaired 4 times in warranty period and still i am not satisfied with this mobile. Sometimes its speaker is faulty, sometimes its slide is loose and lots more.

          Now what i will do as that phone was almost Rs.14, 000 at the time of purchase.
          Such a bad mobile, I request you to please exchange my Nokia6600 Slide with the same mobile or other.
          Please revert ASAP.

          I totally agree... I have purchased the same for 14k too.. the sound of the mobile is horrible... the slide is loose... the screen got spoilt so gave it to Nokia repair center in Noida. I gave them with just a crack in the ph and they returned with more damage. The best they has all the guts in the world not to accept its thier mistake and the manager of the center is totally crazy n rude... now with sooo many inbuilt problems of the ph I have a broken ph too... PLEASE help to sell/exchange for a new one...

          Nokia 6600 slide — Poor service

          Dear sir

          This is the third time I have left my Nokia 6600S Handset with your local service center at Kota (Rajasthan).
          on September 26, I had rendered the handset with service center. Initially it had network problem. After 15 days I got it back with the data cable cover missing. After another 10 days when I got my handset back, the memory card lock was found missing, so I cannot fix the memory card into it.
          It is almost a month passed and still my handset is unusable for me. It is really very disheartening. I can't do anything as I don't know where to register complaint.
          i have purchased the nokia 6600slide on march 2008
          i went to the service centre three times regarding the camera and slide loose problem three times.
          the first time they made the camera settings but not good and within a day it went back lines on my camera and when i am zooming it is showing a cartooned picture.
          And the second time i asked them for the same problem they said that sir we cant repair the slide even if it is in warranty. and he said let me check and took my handset inside the service centre and came back with the calling button broken, and the end button press inside.
          and if i asked them they just sticked it with the glue which may break any time .
          instead of apology to me for damaging my set
          he is saying that "(button hi to nikla na lagadiye!)" with full of attitude.
          Is this the way they treat with the customer.

            I bought the N96 8 months back and for the past 3 months, the Call button is not working. The phone is getting switched off automatically and when we press a specific Key some other functinonalities work. I want to know what is the problem aand whether reloading of software will serve the purpose. If i want to reload the entire software how to go about it.

            I hate this phone. It frustrates me to no end and makes me seriously want to chuck it against the wall. The whole point of having a phone is to be able to call people … MINE WON’T!!! (call button doesnt work and when i even choose the option call, it just goes back to the menu) It also doesn’t log on to websites requiring a password, constantly freezes, starts up only after holding in the on button 3 times and the battery won’t last me longer than a day…
            lol i hadnt noticed this was a complaint site for india ... woops

It was 15 days later I got my new number and started using the phone after 8 days o[censored]sing it suddenly in the morning I could not open my messages wherein I got an error saying “MESSAGE MEMORY FULL CLOSE DOWN SOME APPLICATIONS” I tried all the various options could not check my messages neither could operate any other applications finally I had to switch off my phone and started it again thinking may be a one time error after that 2 days it was functioning smoothly but the same error was there I called up Nokia Customercare but all in vain they could not resolve the issue. I went to Divine cells but the person who had convinced me to buy the piece was now not at all Interested in talking or listening to my grievances he bluntly told you go to Nokia Care bcoz we cannot do anything or else we will revert back to you once we receive any revert from the company. Thrice the mobile was checked at Divine Cells Service Centre but no results I had also asked for a replacement piece as I had not used the piece but the same was denied with a blunt reply.

                  I finally went to Nokia Care in Lower Parel since then till my handset must have just been used by Nokia Care and not by me as every alternate day I was getting the same error after visiting there for 15-20 times I got a swapped piece which also was defective giving the same error (Latest Job sheets attached) as the Lower Parel Nokia got winded up I had been told to contact Procom I had visited Procom more than 20 times for the same error but no positive revert. I had submitted my handset requesting a replacement (Box packed piece or refund) on 2nd of June which was again repaired and delivered on 15th June but again got the same error so I had returned it immediately on the same day to Procom till date I haven’t received it back neither the refund nor the Box packed piece which I have asked for.

                    I have purchase my nokia N72 IMEI no [protected]on 9Aug2007 from gwalior M.P.on june11 2008 i gave my phone to nokia care centre bareilly as it had sudden signal drop problem.After 20 days i got my phone back but the problem still sustain.again it went to nokia care centre but the problem was still there.on july 31 2008 again my phone had went to care centre.Nokia care centre people says now again i have to wait for 15 days to get my phone back.Its my request to look into the matter.
                    If it is possible to repair then get it otherwise give me a new one.

                    it went out of order due to jack problem on 10th novemeber...even after rececieving a new handset in place of the original one...
                    then i got the set back on 6th december after swapping...

                    I am not complaining for all sets of Nokia but, since i am using nokia sets from last 7 yrs, but when i bought nokia 3600s, it prouced many problems for me... right after 1 week of buying this set it started hanging & its side-buttons were also not working properly, then i took it to service center of lucknow where they said to return in next 25 days.after 25 days set was swapped for me from delhi, but that new set was also not woking properly, its camera resolution & buttons were still not up to the mark & now again i had taken it service center & they called me up after 25 days again...

                    I am using NOKIA 3600 slide IMEI NO: [protected] from last few months, earlier i got a problem in the on/off switch and the headset jack. then it was send to the head office in delhi for nearly abt 15 days. those problems were fixed but after i got my cell phone a new problem was there, as i use to opes the slide the volume of the speaker was very low and was not audible. I went to a NOKIA CARE on 15 june 2009 with this problem, along with this the signal dissapears automatically, the camera was not working properly, and the arrow keys were evwn not functioning.
                    I stated getting the same problems again and on 7 july 2009 i have again given my cell phone to a NOKIN CARE the job sheet number is:[protected]/090615/44 along wid those problems, none of the applications are working, not even the calculator. whenever i change the shortcut on restarting the phone it automatically selects the defalt settings the phone has again been sent to the head office for 15-20 days told to me by the reception of NOKIA CARE, MEHTA WATCH COMPANY, 1 OMKAR ROAD, BEHIND GPO, DEHRADUN.
                    I have checked the network problem with my connection provider(AIRTEL) and got a feedback that the problem have been fixed even after that i am facing such problem.

                        Hi there,

                        We purchased 2 cell phone Handsets of Nokia on 21st March 2009. 1 handset is working absolutely fine. But the other handset (Nokia 2600 Classic), started giving some problems from the past 3 days. We went to the showroom (Sangeetha - Jayanagar 4th Block - Bangalore). We were guided to approach the Nokia service center. When I approached the Service center folks in Jayanagar 3rd Block, Bangalore, they analysed the problem and told that some water might have crept into the handset and this has burnt a few electronic devices in the handset. As far as my knowledge, we have never dropped this handset down. No way, some water can creep into the handset, since we take utmost care. Although, this new handset is just 2 weeks old and is under warranty, the service center folks say, that they can neither repair it, nor provide us a replacement handset. They literally asked me to trash this new Handset, which is not at all acceptable. If it is an old handset, it might not have mattered. It is a brand new handset we have purchased and is just 2 weeks old. Not sure whom to approach, so I'm lodging a complaint here. Hope, I do get justice and these Nokia guys provide me a replacement handset.

                            I had deposited a Nokia N70 on the 13th of Nov, 2007. Job Sheet number :[protected]/071113/49. This was submited to their authorised service centre named : Infotel situated at 26/2 Hindustan Park, Kol-29. I have been going to this centre for the last three years and never got my handset back. I many-a-times go out of kolkata for official purposes so this matter was also handled by my brother-in-law. They have never come to a conclusion as to what has happened to the set. I flared up badly yesterday and they have given me a refurbished handset ( N70 ) today i.e. 14th of July, 2009.
                            I am unwilling to accept this handset as I had given then a handset that was barely a few months old and had a starting up problem. I want a new N81 as a replacement. When I bought my N70 it costed Rs.17500 but could never use it properly. N81 cost lesser than that now, Rs16000. As a compensation I want a 1 GB memory card as well. I dont think I am asking for anything more than what I should. Please let me know what should be done if they donot agree to this. I am willing to lodge a complaint with the consumer forum and claim Rs20000 as compensation alongwith a top of the line handset as well.
                            Please advice.

                                Dear Sir/Madame,

                                I purchased this Nokia N 78 phone (Nokia GSM, N 78, [protected]) from an authorised shop in Mulund East, Mumbai on 31st Jan 2009 as per the attached invoice.

                                1) As soon as I started using the same, I noticed that the handset was getting hung every now and then and I had to swithch it Off and On everytime it did so. The shopkeeper tried everything including software uploading, anti virus etc. over a period of time but the problem continued. Finally I got it checked with an authorised service centre of Noia Care in February and they suggested a replacement.

                                2) On 23rd March, they got it replaced with a new piece (I assume) (Nokia GSM, N 78, [protected]) as per the exchange note attached.

                                3) In addition to the hanging problem continuing with the new piece, there was a charging problem. On immediately checking with Nokia Care, they said that though everything was normal with the handset, the battery had drained out and needs replacement. The battery was replaced and the new battery was received on 11th April as per the Service job sheet attached.

                                4) With the new handset and battery combination, I noticed that the battery was getting discharged within 2 to 3 hours of charging and the handset was getting hot. On rechecking with Nokia Care, they got me another battery replacement somewhere in May.

                                5) The problem of bettery discharging within 2 to 3 hrs and phone getting hot continued and they suggested to resend both to the factory for thorough checking. Both were checked thoroughly for a period of 3 weeks and then returned to me in June saying that everything is normal. They didn't give me a copy of the job sheet this time saying that the same has been logged into their system.

                                6) However, when I asked them to give me the job sheet no. for reference of this letter they said the system was down and that they couldn't find the record.

                                It's been 6 months now since I purchased this phone for Rs. 12400 and till now haven't been able to use it even for a day. Though I agree that I am neither authority to commentI on the technical expertise of the Nokia service centres nor on the service standards that these centres exhibit, I fail to understand what needs to be done in this case.

                                I am sure that getting directly in touch with Nokia should certainly help me getting a full refund of the amount invested or at least a new good phone which works to its value.

                                Expect a reply/revert on this at the earliest.

                                  Dear Concerned

                                  I have always been a user of nokia like N82, Communicator(ex), 6300, 7610(ex), 3530(ex) & 1100.

                                  For authenticated purchase of N82, i travelled all the way from Goa to pune(to a priority dealer). The mobile is used with utmost care and loaded with F secure Antivirus with official subsription.. The speaker of the mobile stopped working which was then replaced at Nokia Care Margao-Goa.

                                  Now the phone is showing numerous errors like

                                  1. System Error( specially after disconnecting WiFi)
                                  2. Sim card not ready.
                                  3. Restarts often
                                  4. If i use secondary camera it restarts.
                                  5. If i swap between 2 calls it hangs.

                                  After showing it to nokia care, they damaged my keypad from inside and told me that the warranty is void because of liquid damage, which is not at all related to the nuemorous software problems. The phone has never fallen down or got intouch with water.

                                  Since I have purchased the all my phones at a very dear prices, i expect full value for my money and ask you to do the needful at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains strong.

                                      I purchased a nokia 5800 xpress music handset, and since the day i bought it it was having problems. everytime there was a error message that memory full please close some applications and try again. i could not access the gallery and some other applications, it worked only after i switched off and restarted the handset, since the delaer (e-zone) told me to visit a nokia care centre in case of issues i did not approach dealer for a replacement, insted i visited the nearest nokia care centre (authorised). the bhandup centre (in mumbai) was not well equipped and they redirected me to lower parel far away from place i stay.
                                      i thought of getting it serviced at my native place (bhopal) because of my busy schedule. so during my visit to home town i got it serviced where they checked it for every possible defect and even scanned the memory card incase there was any virus.
                                      Even after a software upgrade it had the same problem.

                                      I visited the mulund centre (in mumbai) this time and told them the whole story. i asked them to keep the handset with them and provide me only after the problem is resolved.

                                      after almost three weeks i took my handset back after it was sent to delhi for a repair.

                                      still the mobile was having the same issue. i again went back to mulund service centre and asked for a repair. when i went back after a week they said they could not provide the handset because there is no electricity and asked me to file a complaint if i had any issues.

                                      i have written several mails but nokia is taking advantage of the common indian public. i want to go aginst nokia and want my money back
                                      I am facing the same problem and I have sent complaint to Nokia online. Once I get any reply from them, I will post further.

                                      I bought the Nokia 5800 music express from The Mobile Store, Thakur Village, Kandivali East, Mumbai on the 19th of July, 2009. The very same day with only 2 messages in my mailbox and with no music downloads i got this message "Memory Full, please close some applications" On going back to the dealer he said I must have pressed the Red button instead of the 'end call' or 'exit' icon. Suggested that when this happens I should close the phone and restart it. This suggestion I think is nonsense and guess it is a inbuilt fault with this model. Going to the Nokia Care centre is futile because they are USELESS and dont know what they are doing. It's a waste of time to go to their Service centre.
                                      I have the same problem since I have bought the phone. Any luck?
