This is what I complained to Nokia...
[Message:I recently found that the phone was not responding to the keys. On a visit to the service center I was told that the handset had liquid damage, and the same will not be covered in warranty . The phone has never been exposed to rain or any moisture other than maybe some sweat from the cheek while using the phone. I would like to know if the phone can be damaged by sweat as in normal conditions o[censored]se in India? As it is obvious in this case that it has, it is not the responsibility of the firm to make sure that their products confirm to normal usage conditions prevalent in India? I find non applicability of warranty in this case totally ridiculous and not confirming to good business practices. ]
And this is what they replied back!!!

This e-mail is with respect to the functionality of your Nokia N96. We regret the inconvenience caused. Please note that, all Nokia phones come with a 12 month warranty from the original date of purchase. Our warranty guidelines state that any repairs or servicing would be covered under warranty provided our qualified Nokia technicians do not find any liquid damage on the phone. We would like to advise you that the warranty is void in the event that the technicians find that your phone has been subject to any of these damages.

The Consumer shall have no coverage or benefits under this limited warranty if any of the following conditions are applicable:
(a) The Product has been subject to: abnormal use, abnormal condition, improper storage, exposure to moisture or dampness, exposure to excessive temperature or other such environmental conditions, unauthorized modifications, unauthorized connections, unauthorized repair including but not limited to use o[censored]nauthorized spare parts in repairs, misuse, neglect, abuse, accident, alteration, improper installation, Acts of God, spill of foods or liquids, maladjustment of customer controls or other acts which are beyond of reasonable control of Nokia, including deficiencies in consumable parts such as fuses and breakage or damage to antennas, unless caused directly by defects in materials or workmanship, and normal wear and tear of the Product.
(b) Nokia was not notified by Consumer of the alleged defect or malfunction of the Product during the applicable limited warranty period.
(c) The Product serial number or the accessory date code has been removed, defaced or altered.
(d) The defect or damage was caused by defective function of the cellular system or by inadequate signal reception by the external antenna.
(e) The Product was used with or connected to accessory not supplied by Nokia, not fit for use with Nokia cellular phones or used in other than its intended use.
(f) The battery was short circuited or seals of the battery enclosure or cells are broken or show evidence of tampering or the battery was used in equipment other that for which is has been specified.
Further, should the technician find the phone to be repairable, a repair quotation would be provided. If the customer chooses to have the phone repaired, the customer would need to bear the cost of the service charge as well as the repair charges of the phone. In certain instances, the phone may be irreparable and the customer would be advised of this. Hence, we suggest that you take your phone to any of our Nokia Care Centre for further assistance in this regard.

We recommend you take along the proof of purchase/receipt while visiting the Nokia Care Centre. Your phone would be repaired under warranty if it meets all the warranty guidelines.

If the phone supports memory card, take a back up of contacts, messages, images, clips etc. on to the memory card or on to the PC. Back up can be taken, provided the phone is in “Power ON” condition. Looks like they dont even read whats asked! So much for their service. It isnt surprising, I think they just sell the same products worldwide without adapting to local conditions. Thank God, they didnt tell me to go n live in Sweden! This was my last Nokia!

This is exactly what happened to me here in UK. I am a 'three' mobile customer and they came back with the same excuse - What a lot of rubbish.

I have refused to pay them and still have an on going dispute since feb 09. I know for fact that I didn't cause the suppose liquid damage
I also have the same problem, moreover I was also told by nokia people that even I got it repaired from them (which will cost more than Rs 3000) the warranty of the N96 will be void.Also the camera of the phone stopped responding (ERROR msg. THIS FEATURE IS NOT SUPPORTED) to this also they said its because of water damage. which I know it can't be.
NEVER BUY A NOKIA AGAIN. and ALSO SUGGEST MY FRIENDS NOT TO BUY ONE.

KINDLY SUGGEST WHAT TO DO with this phone
I am using nokia n96. My firmware version is 30.033. My live TV application used to work but is currently not working.

I get the error No TV Signal in your current location. What should I do? Kindly assist.

    I HAVE PURCHASE A NOKIA MOBILE MODEL 6085 IN FEB 08 BUT AFTER 6 MONTH MY MOBILE HAS PROBLEM OF DISPLAY IS NOT CLEAR, CAMERA IS NOT WORKING & KAY PAD IN NOT DOING THE WORK PROPERLY.I GIVE THIS MOBILE TO NOKIA CARE BUT THEY HAVE NOT GIVE ME POSITIVE RESPONSE.THEY SAID ME THAT THERE ARE NO ANY OPTION FOR WORKING THIS MOBILE.

      I purchased a E71 cell phone on 31st may 09, from planet M in Manisquare mall in kolkata. I was attended by Mr Amit Paul from Nokia and assistant store manager of the store to sell the phone. They said they will do the compete setting of the phone and instead they messed up with my phone and there was no training on the usage was given to me. Also it seems that they handed over used handset to me. I wanted a silvercolour handset andinstead i was given a black colour phone.

      Please help me and i want you to please take strong actions against these 2 people.

        Dear sir,
        Hemant Patel here. i bought nokia E 51 phone. and still my phone in warranty period. currently my phone having some problems in key or switches are not properly working. i went to nokia care and coplain regading this matter but they people tell me that your phone key pad is damage due to water but i never keep my phone any wahere even my phone do not having any single scratches. so how can they people say like this. they say your service will be chargeble not in warranty. means whatever cost is arrived i have to barred but why should i barred i have waranty period. so pls sir i need help in this matter.

        Yes I agree with this complaints, because I am also facing same problem with my E51 mobiles.

        My 1st E51 mobile have same problem, then within 1 year I bought another one, again same problem within 6 months. '

        Oh Nokia...lost confidence.

        This is absolute LOOT from Nokia. They should give new cell phones those who have E51.

        After all we are common ... peoples. Cant fight & whom to fight. No UNITY.

        Govt. should think seriously on this matter.

          I m Nokia's customer with IMEI Number - [protected]. On 21st 0f April 2009 some body steel my Nokia 3110C from my pocket while getting into the bus at Kempegowda bus stand in Bangalore City. I went to Nokia Care and they told me that they don't have any facility to trace or block the mobile phones. and that to not only in that center but also not in any of the centres and also the same facility is not available anywhere in India. they asked me to visit the Police station. But police station people also told me the same thing that they can't help me in tracing or blocking the mobile phone. but they can give an acknowledgement of FIR given by me so that I can apply for a duplicate sim card which I have already got without FIR from IDEA Care. ******* The main purpose of my complaint over here is to ask for help from NOKIA in tracing or blocking my mobile phone.******* *******AND IF THE SAME THING CANNOT BE DONE FROM NOKIA ALSO AND IF THERE ANSWER IS ALSO THE SAME AS OF NOKIA CARE AND POLICE STATION THEN I HAVE A QUESTION FOR NOKIA COMPANY.           Nokia 3110 Classic — defective product

          this is with subject to hand set mentioned above was found defective. this was purchased on 14/02/2008 from surat, my hand set was stoped performing 27/jan/2009 as i m talking with my friend. this hand set was taken to the nokia care, job sheet no.[protected]/090128/16 dat, 28/2/2009. the symptom is no responce to any type and no screen. before this once i have serviced only for speeker problem and was serviced by the same care center on 10th jan 2009. now i have given the resion that your hand set is stamperd and you have to pay for the service charge. if the care center is serviced for the same is called stamperd than i would like to know the defination of stamperd.

            MOBILE HANGING AND DISPLAY LIGHT BLINKING

            Sir,
            I purchased a N70 mobile on 14/10/2008 which has given me a lot of trouble . I went twice to the Nokia Care and got it serviced but the problem still remains . The display light of the mobile blinks while switchig off, not only that the mobile also has an instinct of being hang very often .             i bought nokia 3120 classic on 01.08.2008 from Planet M. All of a sudden some problem came with the mobile i.e my voice was not going on the other side..probably the mike would have been faulty.
            i gave the moblie for reparing on, then the process of going again and again asking for phone started they said its not done, spare parts are not available etc and after about 1 month they said phone is tempered and cannot and gurantee voided.
            phone is not al all tempered it works fine except mike and they kept it for month and then said its tempered, phone never fell nor liquidated i think they dont have spares so they declared it tempered.i am student i bought it from my hardly saved pocket money and looking forward to get replacement from nokia

              I have E71 model which was purchased in October 2008. The volume of Phone, s ringing, Alarm and Music player has become very faint. I have twice given it to Nokia Customer Care Centre in Gurgaon, but no improvement in sound quality. Both times the mobile was kept for more than 15days.Both times I was told that it has been sent to the head office and the part has been replaced.
              Since my set is still in Warrenty I would likethe set to be replaced, if repair cannot be done. During all my visits to the centre i found all the customers very dissatisfied with the work.

              Here is the idea that worked, if you still have warranty left for more than 2 months, then ...


              remove the batteries, soak the phone in the water for abt two minutes. ( only the keypad part, not the screen )
              put batteries back in and power on and leave it for a minute.
              then take out the batterries and let it dry for a next month or so, for a thorough clean look.

              then send it in claiming the phone is completely not working, forcing them to send you a new phone.

              Lol, just laugh at it, and dont do it, because it is against the law and if you damage your phone and claim the company at fault and expect a replacement. You might have to face legal penalties. What was refering is only a joke dont take it serious or read it if you cannot take jokes.


              In my opinion, i have read people doing what i typed above and succeeded in it. sometimes its true that companies try to make money out o[censored]s, but forget abt us as soon as the bussiness is over. I would get very angry if i was you for not honoring the warranty on the product and doing a proper repair. Just call them and yell at them, " what are you waiting for my warranty to expire, so that can buy another phone from you? hell no, you have lost a customer, just remember that, now if you dont fix this phone once and for all, or offer me a replacement, i am gonna file a lawsuit on you" just say it... and proceed with help of law. Trust me laws are out there to protect us. You wont be left alone. Try it and keep us updated.
              to all the indians, for once and for all, cant you just forget NOKIA and stop dying for them. because up here in USA, we dont see nokia that much. you know why ? we think style, portability, and value should be met before buying a product. In my opinion Nokia's look bulky kinda makes me feel like carrying bricks in my pocket as if am gonna build house on it and use it as paper weight. You might argue that they are a name brand, but over here it isnt the case, every brand has recognition here. and every other brand which sells in USA, outsells nokia by a notable margin. if you dont believe me, google it my friend.

                Dear All,
                I am a regular user of Nokia mobiles from 2003 till now. I always prefer to buy Nokia mobiles as it has a best quality in its making. I recommend all my friends & family members to buy nokia mobiles even till now. But am very much fed up with one of the Nokia care service centre named:

                Within one month from the date of purchase my mobile got a problem. The problem with my mobile was the caller on the other side cannot hear my voice even if it is an incoming or an outgoing call. The next day I went to the Nokia care service centre mentioned above. There they opened the back side of the mobile and checked before me and said that the mike has broken and it would cost Rs.1600/- for repairing it. They returned me my battery & memory card to me and gave me a job sheet (no.12548) mentioning the delivery date of one week.
                From that day, for one month I & my friend would have gone to the service centre for more than 20 times returning back empty. Each time when we went there to get our mobile they added each problem with my mobile like* my ring tones are not working, *display is not good, *my motherboard has some problem, *the mobile has gone to the head office Etc.
                Suddenly I was in an emergency to move to my relations house in Coimbatore, so I thought of getting back my mobile before I go. At last we fought with those people and asked them to return back the mobile without repairing it. They returned it after four days. Within those four days we walked there four times.
                At the time when they returned the mobile it was in a dead condition. I had sent my other collogue to ask them when they would return the mobile. That time they returned the mobile to him and have told to put charge for the mobile and it would get switched on. As I was in the emergency to start outstation that night, it took the charger with me and thought of putting charge when I reach my relative house. But even after charging it for 8 hours I can’t switch on it.
                When I gave my mobile for repair in the centre it had only one problem with the broken mike, which was even mentioned by the service engineer who tested the mobile. But at the time I got my mobile in return it was in a burying condition.
                After I returned back Chennai I went to another Nokia care service centre near kodambakkam and enquired about the problem that I can’t switch on my mobile. There the service engineer opened the phone and said that they have spoiled the mother board by soldering it, and also removed some of the parts inside it and it cannot be produced into good condition even after it is repaired. They asked me to go again to that same service centre and ask the solution for this.
                So I went again to that same centre in Annanagar to ask them for the solution. There one of the service engineer ill-treated us, shouted on us that they would not be responsible for this after we got back the phone. The Manager/ Owner of the centre Mr. RameshSuthar came and compromised us and created another new job sheet (no.[protected]/090422/24) on 22 April 2009 mentioning the delivery date will be on 6 May 2009. But till date we had been there for more than 10 times from 6 may 2009 getting back the same response we got before.
                I have not even used the mobile for one month at least, but am paying the EMI till date.
                Nokia is the best product with a worst service.
                Can anyone suggest me a solution to get my mobile back in a good condition. Please anybody tell me where & Whom to contact for giving complaints and get a solution .
                hi all,
                Ive been using this phone for 2 plus years. On may 26th i went to nokia service centre cos my 6070 model never had enabled me to send sms to a list of groups right from the day i bought it, and i assumed the option wasnt there until i created group with list of friends names and no's but the option to send it to the list want there so i called[protected]. I spoke to aperson called vaibav a very helpful gentle man he said the option is there but my mobile aint showing it so i gotta go to a service centre and they will help me out software upgradation which inturn will help me with my problem, i went to this annanagar service centre one behind hi-style and new grand looking L.K.S gold house.I was told by one Mr.Enok that the phone will be updated with new software but he doesnt it work or not and i can pay if it works and i dont have to if it doesnt i said fair enough and time he said was 1 hr after which i will recive my mobile .I run my own business so i had some work and was doing it and realised the time was 7 45 when i reached this service centre the security said the time was up i said ok i will get it tom and went back home.Next day (today that is 27th may)sharp 4 o clock i walk in the first floor where the delivary area is and give my job sheet the person there, very cool person says sir come and collect it tommorrow same time.!!! i was shocked i said he was mistaken the cell was supposed to be ready in one hour yesterday and icouldnt collect it how come its not ready as promised. moreover why should i wait one full day for that now the next day i asked he said who told you you will get the mobile in 1 hr i said enok and he says he wouldnt have told so, i was dumb struck cos why should i lie in this matter !!@#i said come let ask him. Three counters and there in the ground floor the othr two ppl sitting there knw me cos they were clarifying with enok for over promising on 26th itself enok said it will be dont confidently.so i knew they will be there for witness so was very confident. They did tell yes this happened then enok came and said pls wait for an hour and things will be ok, i said yesterday you said it might work how come now it will work for sure he says it will i said sorry i cant wait for an hour cos i had to go for marriage and i need the cell back or give my mobile to me he said he wanted to tell not to come after an hour but he forgot i was shocked. and asked whose mistake it was he it wasnt his and i should have stayed and i made the mistake of not hanging out there for 1 full hour.i said are yo blaming and he goes i never said 1 hr thing infront of all the customers this drama is taking place now all the customers weere shocked cos he is lying in front of all the best part is yet to come the ppl his colleagues who were witness now says he never said that yesterday to get it after an hour.all three same lies i was shocked some 5 -6 customer said this place is bad on thier face and walked out, then enok starts shouting at me, why do you come here and fight like this, my father who with me was without words totally shocked and we got the celll phone and walked out throwing the job sheet on their table, then enok comes out screaming till entrance of that place stating i only did right you were wrong, i dint want continue so went home totally knowing not how to correct this total devious attitude, 100% sure these ppl dont know what customer service is, i felt very cheated and used and totally not respecting my time.In my opinion this enok is a total rowdy dont know what he is doing here, plus these ppl with him my god i am out of words.While i was starting my vehicle one customer who walked out with out giving his mobile came and thanked my for opening his eyes and said he would have slapped the guy if he did that to him.I totally have to agree with devika in this matter and even iam wondering to whom we should complain about his any global managers email id.ph no. cos there was to one to escalate this issue and as threw away the job sheet there i dont have the job sheet also.
                Thanks my friend, am above to visit the nokia care center at annanagar near blue star bus stop. i have changed my mind and planning to give it to adyar nokia care.

                Thanks for your patience and my suggestion is to lodge a complaint in consumer forum.
                These Guys are cheats, dont go to Nokia service center Anna Nagar, 10th Street, they took Rs.450 never repaired my mobile...pure cheaters.

                Save your money & time dont go near them...

                      I bought nokia n82 but problems are coming from very first day. Sometimes voice received and sometimes not. I gave it to nokia care for three times but they are returning me without solving the problem and saying they have solved the problem. I am tired of going to nokia care. I spent about 19000 Rs not to visit nokia care. Many other problems are keep coming in my phone. I want my money back

                      nokia n 82 — faulty

                      Hi, I Purchased Nokia N 82 on jan2008. Now I am facing the problem that my cell can hangs, resets or it shows the message insert sim or emergency call only. I had go for nokia care but my problem still persist & now i am facing too much problems & harashments. do something for me. I am from Nagpur India My mobiles imei no. is [protected].

                      I have given my NOKIA 5300 phone to nokia care service centre at 26/2, Hindustan Park, Gariahat, kolkata-700029 on 18/09/2009 for servicing.My job sheet number is[protected]/090918/36. Whenever I give them a call they say it will be ready within 10 days. Then I lodged a complaint at Nokia Careline number[protected] & the complain ID is 1-[protected].                           I bought above said hand set from The mobile store, Panvel on 10/05/2009 and same day it's shows some display problem. When i contacted The Mobile Store they sugested me to goto customer care.
                          I went and submitted the hand set with Nokia customer Center at Ville Parle, Mumbai on 12/05/2009.

                          Till today it is not get repaired. and the people out there says they are waiting for the component. now today on 09/06/2009 it completes 1 month of purchases of hand set but of no use for me. I don't know what is my fault except buying and trusting in nokia set.

                          Can you help me to get it replaced as soon as possible.

                          Nokia-2650 — Set is not working

                          I have purchased aNokia mobile model 2650 in the year 2005. The mobile started problem in its working in the month of April 2008. I went to the nearest Nokia Care i.e. Nirmal Enterprises, LIA Complex, 2nd Floor. P.P.Compound, Ranchi, Jharkhand for the necessary repair of my mobile on 28.4.2008. They have received my mobile and gave me Service Job Sheet No.[protected]/080428/39 dated 28.4.2008. The IMEI Number is [protected]. Since depositing my mobile set there I have enquired personally and through telephonicallly several times but my mobile set has not been repaired till date. I have a very tight schedule at my office therefore I cannot visit personnaly very often to the Noiia Care. Many times they said me that they will inform me about the status of my job but they never do this. My cell number is already with them.
                          I request you to look inthe matter and do the needful so that I can get my mobile repaired.

                          i purchased 3600s on 10th Apr'09, & got the defect of powering on problem on next day. when i came to nokia carae centre they suggested to replace it. i got a new phone the by the priority dealer.
                          after 1 month the 2nd new phone has same problems again this time volume keys are also not working and the headphone point is too. i went to care centre and again i got the replacement, now i m waiting for my 3rd phone in two months, this is frustrating...

                            Dear Sir/Madam,

                            I purchased a Nokia N82 mobile on Apr 2008 from Mobile store. After 2 months, some color patchs appears in the TFT screen. When i take my phone to authorised service centre-Nokia Care, they replaced the screen, instead of replacing the entire handset. When i asked why they not replaced the handset, then they told that "no needed to change the handset". After 2 months from the 1st service, again the keypad (UI module) joystick broken. Again i taken my phone to service centre, they told that Nokia doesn't provides warranty for Keypad. Ok then i agreed for paid service. They told that for changing the keypad, it will cost around 1500/-. From Oct 2008 itself iam asking the service centre for changing the keypad. On that time they told some excuse like stock is not yet came, stock will come after 2 weeks. etc, etc. For 8 months iam using the handset without joystick and my warranty period is over. before that iam using a Sony Ericsson handset and used more than 2 yrs. No handset complaints happens. accessories like handsfree- i have change 4 time with full warranty. But Nokia only providing 6 months warranty for accessories. That also very bad. Even spares like keypad, handsfree is not available in market, then why Nokia is manufacturing these types of high-end mobile phones. I request to help me in this regards.

                            Nokia/ N82 — product damage by nokia service centre

                            i'll try to explain the incidents to the best of my efforts.
                            my n-82 had some problems,
                            the primary concern is with camera flash light.
                            it was continuesly glowing red even when i switched off my phone till the battery is drained.
                            it left the phone unusable.

                            the other minor issues were,
                            1) there is a small coloured spot on my display, i had no problem with that but since i was giving my phone for repair, i asked them to check that also if its not costing too much.
                            2) since software update and cleaning of phone was free, i asked them to do that also but also mentioned clearly that i dont want to lose my contacts.

                            i gave my phone on 6th june,
                            they said they will check the phone and give me a call about the expenses , but they never called. i had to personally go there and ask.

                            They replied it will cost me 3000 rupees. Display needs to be changed.
                            i asked them not to change display and rectify the flash problem only as well as software update and cleaning.
                            then the owner himself told me that it cannot be dont without changing the display since the problem is inter-related...

                            i felt he is lying...how greedy they can be for some money, but since i was not sure, i agreed to his terms and ask him to do whatever it takes to repair.

                            After 7 or 8 days when i went to collect the phone, the phone was ok but still it had some problem with flash which was behaving in a strange manner.
                            The owner tried to convince me that it is normal(again a series of lies), but i refused to take phone. Also phone was niether cleaned nor software updated.he said he'll look into the matter.
                            after some 8 days when i went to collect the phone, they said they cant repair the phone and called me next day to return the phone in original condition.
                            Now what is this premium care !!!
                            And to my horror when i went to collect the phone, it was a blow to me....the condition of my phone was worse than before,
                            They damaged the body of my phone....and when i questioned about this, they said there is no other way to open this phone.They dont know how to open the phone what kind of nokia care is this, and when i switched on my phone, i realised that display is further detoriated.
                            what initially was a little coloured dot, its now a considerable color issue.
                            all my contacts are missing, which are extremely important to me and Phone mic is also not working now that means i cant even make calls now.
                            Now my phone is a utter piece of crap.
                            i was extremely dissatisfied and refused to sign the delivery receipt.
                            they said nothing will be done now , u have to take the phone...and took my customer receipt also.
                            On my insistance they let me have a photocopy of customer receipt.

                            After few months months of toil and numerous phone calls to Nokia care, i recieved a call from Nokia executive Mr. Ankur. he suggested that i should submit my handset to Nokia care Bhopal and he'll do the needful, but its been 2 months i have submitted my handset and they have responded in any way.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I had purchased a Nokia E71 ( IMEI [protected], product code[protected] on 11/02/2009 from mobile store, chakrata road, Dehradun.

                                from the very first day of purchase i have many problems with this handset. Firstly i came to know that the bundled handsfree is not working, later i have replace it from nokia care. After that i have found that the cell started hanging very oftenly. sometimes i was unable to recieve the calls cause the phone started to hang when i pressed the call key. Later it also started to restarts automatically.

                                after these problems i have given the handset to nokia care and they have given it to me after installing new software and they insturcted me not to restore data from the memory card. Then i have lost my usefull data cause of this problematic handset. After using i have found that the problems are still persists and i have gone to the nokia care again, this time they have sent the handset to the nokia care( Delhi) for repairing and i had to buy a new samsung handset for my work. After 15 days when i got back my handset they again not to restore old date from memory card and again i have lost my usefull data only because of this problematic handset.

                                And again the problem again persists and i have given the handset again. This time Nokia care, dehradun again sent the handset to nokia care, delhi but i know that i have to waste my time due this problematic handset again and again.

                                Due to repetition of this problem, I request you to kindly change the present handset with a new one for your customer satisfaction.

                                Nokia E71 — Given me the Defected Product

                                Hi,
                                I purshased Nokia E71 cell phone from Croma, Ishanya, Pune on 27-Dec-08 and i found a defect in the cell phone and then i requested to replace the handset on 28-Dec-08 and these people didn't agree to replace my handset.
                                These people are pethatic by their words... They only want to sell the product and after wards these people are not bothered about the customer.
                                Till date 31-Dec-08, I have not got my cell and they have sent my new cell for repair.
                                It means purchase a defected product from Croma and then send it to the service centre on the very next day.
                                Please take necessary actions against them.

                                I noticed while visiting Pune, that my backlight illumination in my E71 handset was not working, after some search I located the aundh centre on 13th March, where afterlong wait I finally was informed that the set cannot be repaired with them and has to be sent to factory under warranty repairs, they said they cannot give me a replacement handset. enqire to-morrow, when I called themon 15th, I could hear two people talking in background, "Why you have not sent it to company?", finally i was informed that set is being sent to-day, when i asked why was it not sent on 13th, they said it is their internal business, I explained to the lady that I had to go back to hyd, on 23rd, tpo please make sure that the set is returned to me by then, they said they canot promise anything it may take two weeks!!!. In the meanwhile I am left tweedling my thumbs, am going to recommend NOKIA, to any one?, guess what...

                                    I BOUGHT MY NOKIA N73 M ON 16 FEB.2009 FROM AUTHORISED MOBILE CENTRE OF NOKIA LINKS MOBILES, RESIDENCY ROAD, SRINAGAR, KASHMIR, J&K. I WAS NOT ABLE TO USE THE MOBILE TILL 21ST OF FEB. 2009, AS I WAS BUSY WITH MEETING. THAN I STARTED USING IT ON 21ST FEB.2009. WHEN I TRIED TO CONNET MY MOBILE WITH MY PC IT WAS NOT CONNECTING AND WAS BLINKING AND SIMULTANEOUSLY SWITCHED OFF.

                                    WHEN I APPROACHED LINKS MOBILE ON 23RD OF FEB.2009 THEY TOLD ME TO GO TO THE LOCAL NOKIA CARE. I APROACHED NOKIA CARE AND THEY TOLD ME IT IS VERY SMALL PROBLEM AND WILL BE OK TILL TOMARROW ON 24TH OF FEB.2009. BUT WHEN I WENT TO THEM ON 24TH OF FEB.2009 THEY TOLD ME TO COME ON 25TH OF FEB.2009. AS THERE IS A JACK PROBLEM AND WILL BE CHANGED TILL TOMARROW. WHEN I WENT THERE ON 26TH OF FEB.2009. THEY TOLD ME THERE IS A MANUFACTURING PROBLEM IN YOUR MOBILE AND WE WILL BE SENDING YOUR MOBILE TO NEW DELHI SO THAT THEY WILL EXCHANGE IT WITH A NEW MOBILE PHONE.

                                    AS THEY HAD GIVEN ME THE DATE OF 15 DAYS SO I WENT THERE ON 13TH OF MARCH 2009. THERE THE MANAGER OF THE NOKIA CARE, LALCHOWK, SRINAGAR, KASHMIR, J&K TOLD ME YOU HAVE OPENED THE MOBILE PHONE BEFORE YOU CAME HERE, I TOLD THEM THAT WHY SHOULD I DO IT AS MY MOBILE WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND THERE IS A RULE IN NOKIA THAT IF THE MOBILE HAS BEEN BOOKED FOR 3 TIMES UNDER WARRANTY IT SHOULD BE EXCHANGED BY THE NEW MOBILE PHONE. BUT THEY DIDNOT LISTEN TO ME. THAN I TALKED TO MR WASIM WHO IS STATE HEAD FOR NOKIA, BUT HE WAS ALSO NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING, I APPROACHED MANY OFFICERS OF NOKIA OF VERY HIGH RANK BUT THEY GAVE ME THE NEGATIVE REPLY. EVEN WHEN I TOLD TO THE NOKIA CENTRE OF SRINAGAR THAT I MAY GO TO THE CONSUMER COURT THEY TOLD ME WE HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY MOBILE FROM YOU GO AND FIND YOUR MOBILE.

                                    WHEN I FOUND THAT NO BODY IS LISTENING TO ME I WENT TO THE CONSUMER COURT FOR THE SAME AND THEY ENTERTAINED MY CASE. BUT THEY GAVE THE TIME PERIOD OF ONE MONTH AND THEN WHEN I APPROACHED THEM IN THE MONTH OF APRIL THEY EXTEND THE DATE TILL 15 TH OF MAY 2009, AND THEN WHEN I APPROACHED THEM ON 15TH OF MAY 2009. THEY TOLD ME THAT WE HAVE EXTENDED THE DATE TILL 15 TH OF JUNE 2009.

                                    FROM THREE MONTHS I AM GOING FROM PILLAR TO POST TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM BUT ALL IN VAIN. THAN I FOUND YOUR WEBSITE AND TRIED TO TELL YOU THE WHOLE STORY, SO THAT MY PROBLEM MAY BE RESOLVED. I HAVE GOT ALL THE DOCUMENTARY PROOF AND THE DETAILS OF MY MOBILE BELLOW. BUT BEFORE THAT I WANT TO APPEAL TO THE WHOLE NATION IF THEY ARE PURCHASING ANY NOKIA MOBILE YOU SHOULD NOT BE SURE THAT IT IS 100% OK.. THANKS

                                      I gave a complaint agaist nokia care centre people on 1st june regarding the battery problem of my nokia7210 supernova.They replaced the battery but it is also not working properly.When I contacted them they say that the piece had some software problem which they didnot say when I first contacted them.when they replaced battery they didn't gave me its number or details.I do not know whether it is new or not.When I tried with the battery of other piece it is responding properly.The customer care people are behaving indecently.If they make us roam around the care centre all the time and not giving proper service we have to complaint against them.They asked me to go some customer care in Suryapet which is 60 km far from my place.If such is the case what is the use of the unit in Khammam.Are you going to take action on them, if not there is no choice for us, we will file a case in consumer forum.

                                      Nokia — msg & fm

                                      i bought nokia 5130 xpress music two months ago i.e. in november.....since then its msg receving time is not doesn't appear correct whenever a msg comes....i showed to nokia service center but he made the problem worst not corrected it . he injected the problem in media player as well....
                                      and its fm also make problem sometimes like shows station name automatically even i havn't named it anything...
                                      nokia shud take needfull action against it and check it throughly via good service providers.

                                      nokia 7210 supernova — Costumer Care not attending properly

                                      Few days ago I face problem in my cell. My nokia 7210 S was restarting I go for Nokia care they said my cell display is damage dew to water and and it cost 500-600 Rs. But my cell never drop in water or any liquid damage. after this I get my cell to dealer from where I buy my cell he update cell software and my cell work fine. After a week I face same problem and Nokia care not attending me properly. Many other people have same problem which I face.Please tell me what should I do now

                                      Nokia — deduction in currency

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      Grateful to your good Office that refund was done to my number and balance was seen the same. Just the matter of 10 days happiness could remain as again there is deduction in balance. Why is it happening to me often.

                                      There is deduction of Rs.2/-again. Please give remedy to this problem as I cannot always surf net to mail the complaint. When I called 198 several times after holding for 3 – 4 minutes waiting for Airtel Representative or someone at customer care to receive the call, it says dail 123 to know the balance.

                                      I am really got fed up of deduction often done it has become a common matter inspite of several call and mails sent, and so many requesting to overcome the deductions. I don’t want to get disturbed in any way to my balance.

                                      Please consider my request seriously.
