I have purchased a Nokia N70-1 (Music Edition) phone just 1year and 2 months back, recently I have switch off my phone at night and very next day when I have tried to switch on it then it was not on. Then I went to Nokia Service Station they said it would not repairable the phone is dead. Only one possible to send it at New Delhi and about Rs. 5800/- would be expended whereas new costing is Rs. 9800/-.

My name is K.Polash Narayan and i own a Nokia N70. My phone crashed around 2 times and once it was told to be problem of Display card, but second time when crashed i took it again to Nokia care and they denied to repair it because it seems to be tampered by local repairer, I am very sad because first of all they didnot repair it and second of all even if my phone was taken to a local repairer then also it's Nokia and it should be repaired.My phone had no virus because memory card was never inserted in it .

      nokia 6275 — broken case

      I have registered so many complaints through the nokia care centre for getting a new case to my above phone. Unfortunately, it will not be received as on date. Please arrange to get a case to my phone as early as possible.
      I am not able to receive file of size more then 4mb, in my nokia 6245 cdma phone with Reliance Network connection, please help as all the mp3 hindi songs are more then 4mb

        I had purchased a Nokia Unit (Model No 6300 ) on 09.05.09 from Nokia Store at Nirmal Lifestyle, Mulund M/s Addon Retail Pvt Ltd vide their Invoice No MUL/721 dated 09.05.09.

        The box of this handset had a sticker announcing scheme of “ Sabki Jeet Pakki” – Scratech and win exciting prizes.

        However the outlet did not offer me the scratch card .I was instead given a pouch . The outlet staff told me that this is the standard prize and I will get only this and will not get the scratch card.

        This is breach of trust and is indicative of a false and misleading campaign conducted by Nokia and its authorized Nokia Store at Nirmal Lifestyle Mulund.

        I seek your intervention and justice in the matter

            i am located at Patparganj, Delhi 110092, and use 1650 Nokia mobile. the battery has swelled up distinctly and is causing problems in enclosing the lid at the back. moreover the keypad has also balloned within a year o[censored]se. i fear the battery may explode. suggest a solution and nearest service centre. the dealer is not taking keen interest in solving my problem because he deals in many brands of mobiles.

              I have purchase nokia 5130 on 4/04/09 but on 15/06/09 it sudenlly off and not work.
              then i can told this problem on nokia care centre but after one day this care centre were told me
              ur mobile can send to delhi and deleverd u after 20 days.
              but in this 20 days how can i manage my work. pls help to repair earilest as possible.
              or replace this deficative hand set.

                I have also recievd the same mail, I made couple of interaction with them through email then I start searching on net and dail couple of numbers who had already the victim of this and come to know that this all bull crap is going on.However I would like to appreciate the master mind behind this but I also like to pass the message that the Indian are not boor.

                in one it came months ago n i gave my personnel details bt thanks to net i tried to search on the address given by them i cudn't get n den i luckily viewed on consumer complaints site so didn't interacted much wid dem...bt sumthing must be done to make aware everybody 'bout this
                I don't know how they are getting our details(numbers and mobile details)? however it could be done with the 'indian corporate companies alone', the most important thing is the message center was mumbai... they have no income from this action(some times possible), but this is their entertainment and some psychological readings done by this kind of people, for example they have given the contact number, did anyone of you call them? instead of that you people are giving all the personal details with trust on mail id itself... so be aware of it and dont share your personal details online with anyone...

                  Hi,
                  My name is Saurabh Taneja. Suddenly there was aproblem occurred in my nokia 5310 xpress music mobile phone. Problem is it got heated up very much on standby mode and battery gets drained out in 1-2 hrs. I visited Nokia Care pitam pura for the problem. They adviced me to purchase new battery. I purchased it and it cost me Rs 1200. But the problem remain same. I went back and they chec the battery again then returned it to me then probem remain same. I went there for six times in 3 months everytime they returned me set. At last they said its a software problem its not with me; please visit another nokia care. Then I visited another Nokia Care branch its in rohini near M2K (Dexter's Lab); there they kept my phone for 2 weeks and they said it can not repairable. When I start my phone now then one more problem occurs that is camera is not getting started.I purchased my phone in Rs 12000.

                  I have bought the above-noted set one month back which is infested with certain technical problems. During the first week itself it started giving me problem in the form of rebooting three to four times a day without ant reason. The phone also hangs many times a day. I am really frustrated with this product and do not want to visit nokia cares every week for software updating. Since I have paid a good amount for this phone, I expect full value for my money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

                  Nokia/ Mobile Phone 5310 — Not replacing defective Nokia handset Model 5310

                  Dear Sir,

                  I have purchased Nokia 5310 in December 2007 at the cost of Rs. 11, 000/- from authorised shop. Comparing still photography with video it is observed that video quality is poor as compare to still photography. If i focus an object with camera in still mode the object appears bright of good quality but as i change to video mode the same object appears dark and the video is also dark. In other Nokia phones the same is not observed.

                  I have given the set for repair four times at Nokia care at Noida vide job sheet No. [protected] dated 29/02/08, [protected] dated 24/04/08, [protected] dated 28/04/08 and [protected] dated 19/05/08. Each time I have been assured that the set has been repaired. But while checking myself I find the defect still exist. Third time my cell phone was replaced but the new one is also having same defect. It seems 5310 has permanent or design defect. My mobile phone is still with Nokia Care since 19/05/08. I have discussed and explained the defect to Mr. Jatin of Nokia Care Centre, Noida and to Mr. Kumar and Mr. Wadhawan of Nokia Head Office, Gurgoan but defect has not been resolved. If this defect cannot be removed than why Nokia care: -

                  1) Has taken the phone for repair four times.
                  2) Each time during taking delivery I have been informed by Nokia Care that phone has been repaired.
                  3) Is not responding to my emails dated 28/04/08, 5/5/08, 09/05/08, 13/05/08 and 19/05/08 to Shri Bharat Malik, Shri Manoj Wadhawan and Shri Rakesh K Gupta.

                  Kindly look into the matter. I suggest that you constitute a technical team to examine the fault/ defect explained above. I am ready to explain further to the technical team at Nokia Care Centre at Noida or anywhere else.

                  I am really upset due to poor quality of video and unsatisfactory after sale service from a reputed company.

                  Nokia - 5310 Xpress Music — Expecting a Replacement of my Instrument

                  Dear Sir / madam,

                  This is with reference to the Nokia-5310 Xpress Music which I have purchased on 16th December 2007, just have complete 6 months and was the Latest Model when it was purchased by me. Look wise the Cell Phone is good looking. Have met with so many issues in last 6 months, first if you look at the model the base model is in Black with Cherry Color Flaps on both left & right side corners of LCD Screen. The rights side Flap where we have Music Push Buttons, was pilled off, due to it was looking very pathetic. Last monday a call was made to my office at 1132hrs, when the call was completed, it was observed by me that the LCD screen of my Cell Phone was Conked Off and there was so many different colors were coming on the Screen. Was fail to understand that what has happened to my New Cell, so decided to approach Nokia Care Team in Gurgaon since my Job is in Gurgaon.Well I reached at Nokia Care and started interacting with them, I was shocked when the Nokia Care - Customer Care Manager - Mr. Deepak told me that the problem rectification would be on payment basis only since the LCD Screen has been crashed of my Cell Phone and the charges will be Rs.2, 150/- (Rupees Two Thousand one hundred & Fifty only). Have told them that it has just completed his 6 months of its life, why should I pay this amount. The Gentlemen replied that either you pay this amount or we won't be able to help you in this. Now one can think that If I have to purchase a Cell Phone of my choice and that is a cost of Rs.10, 679/-, there was no choice for me to handover the instrument to them for defect rectification, I make up my mind to pay the same amount to the Nokia Care. Now from last 4 days that instrument is with them only which was promissed to handover to me on the same evening. Another defect which was noticed by me when I reached there to collect my Cell Phone instrument, the core upper keys were not working (Up - Down / Right - Left Arrow, and two keys of left & right), when I enquired the same from Mr. Deepak, he said that, it is not their fault, the said keys were not working earlier as well, you should have inform us about the same which you didn't. Now this was hike of that Gentleman who was not even ready to listen to his Customer and he state away blamed that the LCD Display was intentially broken.

It has been currently given to the Nokia Care at Instant Solutions (Nokia Authorised Service Centre), 5-8, Devi Palace, 522/3, Prem Nagar, Old Delhi Road, Opp Raj Cinema Hall, Gurgaon - 122001 (Haryana) and the Job Sheet no is 001 Dated[protected]. Since I have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted. Have seen Shahrukh Khan in this Cell Phone's Add Campain, we Like Shahrukh Khan but Cell Phone should also be upto the Mark.

                  PROBLEM WITH MOBILE: restarting of mobile as per its wish, hanging up of phone, faster heating up of battery.
                  When first time my mobile was sent, it took more than one month for nokia care to respond with the guarantee of return in 25 days. And when i made call then they replied ur phone has been sent again as ur problems are not solved. And now totally they have sent my mobile for 4 times for reparing pupose, So u can understand that what the kind of lifespan the mobile will have.I have told the to give write my complaint for replacement but they told that this complaint is not to be written by nokia care but to nokia careline and when i have phone nokia care line they replied this is to be done in nokia care.                   NOKIA 5310 — poor music

                  recently i bought a nokia 5310 X-press music n hav found no loud music as it seems in the advertisements but Yes, it has option to connect your sub-woofers n speakers so as to get high volume music but the phone doesnt have enough built-in speaker volume. Its not at all satisfactory when it comes to music. I bought it keepin in mind tht its gonna explode my room but its not upto the mark.
                  But yes the features are nice and overall the phone is good and has good battery life also.

                  I had given my mobile for repaire as it was restarting & sound on the speaker was low.It was submitted at A-78, Sector 2, NOIDA (U.P ) 201301. My mobile was kept for almost one month.
                  In the repaire process the volume adjustment key was damaged as it was not doing anything.So, I had to resubmit the mobile at the same time on the request of the Manager. Still my mobile is not delivered to me. I was exploited & mentally harrased in the process. Now, I am tired of visiting your centre. I would wait for the reply to know how Nokia company can compensate me. I had been without the mobile for more than one and half month. If I do not get any satisfactory answer, I would launch a complaint to protect all my consumer rights in the Court of Law.

                  I had purchased Nokia 5310 express music on 11th Oct'08. On 3rd Nov its display started behaving abruptly.I had given my mobile to a nokia care center in aundh, pune. they said that it has to be sent to Nokia workshop and will be done in a week. I got a call from them after a week that it is fine and you can come and collect it now. But when I went there I saw its cover for USB port was missing. also the display was still not repaired. The points I want to higlight here are:
                  1) The mobile created problems within a month only.
                  2)The mobile was not repaired. This was not checked neither by the Nokia workshop before sending it to the Nokia care nor by the technicians at Nokia care and they just called me to collect it..
                  3) The USB port cover was missing..

                  I doubt that by the time I get back my mobile what all parts will be removed, damaged..
                  All in all I will never buy Nokia again..neither I will recomment anyone to buy it..its just hopeless.

                  On 14.01.2009 ie. yesterday I bought a handset of nokia set model no 5310 Xpressmusic. From the first day I can't able to use my headset. When i attached the headset with phone one earhead not working.
                  I complain to retailer but they told for go to nokia care. I also go to nokia care but, they told that to deposit the headset for repairing and come again after 7 to 10 days.
                  I therefore ask a question that, is this the support which we expect from nokia.??

                  i had bought a nokia 5310 handset in november 2008 and got the first complaint in Jan 2009, and i had given it in PHONE WORLD Nokia Care at Calicut, the complaint was with the display and they had changed the display by taking more than 15 days, and in the month of march again the phone got complaint but this time for the God sake it was not with the display but with charging node. To clear this small complaint they again took more than two weeks, and again on June 1st the display was blank and when i had gone to your service centre in calicut, they told me unsteadily that it should be taken to the company. So what should i do?? I think i will have to buy a handset of some other company to use in the meantime, because I dont think i will be able to use the phone without any complaint hereafter. As in the last Six months i cant use the set for more than 1 month, then what's the use of buying a costly handset of your company.

                  So I request you to take my complaint into consideration or provide me with another phone.

                  I bought a Nokia 5310 Xpress music phone from a nokia store in mumbai (mulund) in April.

                  Within 10 days time the phone started to hang and used to switched off at will.

                  Upon contacting Nokia care in Delhi (Dwarka) where i live they said an old version software has been uploaded in the phone. On my asking them to replace the phone, they said it cannot be replaced but the software can be upgraded in the same phone. I agreed and got back the phone in 10 days. Now after using the phone for just 2 days the phone gets switched off at will again.

                  I really want to understand what kind of phone nokia such a BIG BRAND manufactures. OK one can understand that some cell phones can be faulty but its your duty as a companny to ensure the phone is replaced with a new one. Now clearly as a customer who has paid a hefty amount would want my phone to be replaced as soon as possible.

                  Nokia — NOKIA Care has damaged my phone

                  I owns a nokia E-51 which I purchased in Oct 2008. Within 8 months I had to give this cell phone to Service Center 4 times for Software and vibrator issue.

                  Yesterday I went to collect my NOKIA E-51 and when I received the phone I found the panel of the Camera is broken. They had already kept the phone with them for more than 10 days and again kept the phone for 7 working days.

                  I have complained about this on Customer Care but could not get any firm response.I have already taken the huge amount of toll of submitting and collecting the phone. I have not purchased this phone for giving it to Repair Center all the time. Since last 15 days I don't have my phone.

                  I want someone to take strict action against NOKIA. Is anybody aware of Consumer Court process I am thinking of going in consumer Court against NOKIA.

                  Nokia - 5310 Xpress Music — Handset Battery Misplaced

                  This is to inform you that i had purchased a NOKIA 5310 Xpress Music Handset from the Nokia Priority Dealer Outlet in Kolkata Saltlake, the address of the same being BF - 192, Sector - 1, Saltlake City, Kolkata - 700064. ( Ph:[protected], [protected] ).The warranty period for the Handset is over. Recently, i was facing some problems with the set as it was getting hanged. I went to the Priority Dealer Outlet on the 26th of July 2009 to show them the problem. I was told that there was a software problem in the Handset, and i would have to leave it for repairing. I was also told that my phone contact memory would get deleted. I decided to keep a back up of my contact details in the computer which was there in the outlet. Prior to taking back up of my contact details, my SIM card and the Memory Card was handed over to me. After the contacts backup was taken, i gave my Handset to the concerned person in the outlet. On the 29th of July 2009, i received a call from this outlet, where i was told that my handset was repaired and that i should collect it. On reaching the outlet, they gave me the Handset and asked for the battery so that they could check it. When i told them that the battery was never handed over to me, they started to deny the fact and kept on insisting that they had given the battery to me. I was carrying the SIM card and the Memory card as these were the only two things given to me. They are not ready to accept the fact that the battery has been misplaced by them. Had the battery been with me, i would have taken it to the outlet to get the mobile started. Without the battery, the handset becomes useless. I want a replacement battery from the outlet, but they are not ready to do so.

                  I would request that my complaint be dealt with utmost seriousness.

                  I had purchased a Nokia 5310 in the month of Feb 2009 and by august i had started facing a lot of problems like phone switching off automatically and most often my number used to remain not reachable..I went once to nokia care..and they said they'll do the needful and they took a day and it was of no use..I tried to adjust and use the phone in that condition itself as i need it almost everyday..but then again the problem by september end became too much to bare with...so i had to go again..and dis time...the screen had gone and phone kept switching off and many other problems..

                  When i go to the customer care centre they check and tell me water has gone inside..and i knew thats a lie because i make sure the phone is safely kept whenever i get wet in the rain..so i argue with the customer care agent and then she was like it is DUE TO MOISTURE IN THE AIR AND SO YOUR WARRANTY DOES NOT HOLD GOOD ANYMORE...isn't that ridiculous???I mean moisture in the air is my fault is it??I asked for a replacement as it seems to be a defective piece and she was like Nokia does not give replacements...Well, then nokia just sucks n i'm surely not gonna ever again in my life get a Nokia product cos even their product is defective they coolly say v dont give replacements..I want to go to the consumer court and fight but the thing is i really donot have that much of time.When i'm done wid my job someday I'm surely going..

                    I had purchased Nokia Hands free BH-103 on 25-Apr-09. product was purchased with 6 months warranty and within months time on 21-May-09 Battary of the product stopped working on 22-May I had given the same to Foneworl a Nokia care provider at Borivali. In turn I was given a Service job Sheet bearing no.[protected]/090522/1 which indicates Target Delivery Date as 22-May-09. However till today 17-Jun I have not received the replacement while complained on Nokia care line I was promised the resolution within 48hrs and of followup I was told that I have to wait for another 7days to get the replacement..

                    The person on Nokia care line are not at all supportive and so are persones seating at Nokia care centre

                    Nokia BH101 — Bluetooth not powering on

                    This particular model from Nokia has a 6 month warranty and if you take it to a service centre they will at least take a month or even more. Pathetic service from Nokia. Horrible product
                    I agree, I too had bought a NOKIA BH - 101 handsfree bluetooth in Dec 2008 with a 6 months warrenty. In March the battrey gave up. It never used to recharge. Looks like Nokia products are losing it's prestige & product efficiency. This is happening with a few friends of mine aswell. especially for Bluetooth & handsfree products.

                    I went to a Nokia cutomercare center in Borivali, they promised to replace the BH-101 within 15 days. Guess what it too almost a months to get it back to me. I called up on the 20th day to follow up as I never received a call as they said I would. They said my replacement headset has arrived & I should collect it. Guess what again when I went there, they said there was a miscommunication & my product has not arrived & asked me to follow up after 7 days.

                    Finally, I received my replacement after a months.
                    I have the same headset and after couple of months, all of a sudden, same problem. Battery went dead!

                          I purchased Nokia 5320 from Mobile Store, Thoppumpady, Cochin on 06/05/2009. I used the mobile for a day and on the next day it did not turn on (no display, phone not booting up). I gave it to Nokia Care, Kadavanthara on 08/05/09 and was assigned job no.[protected]/090508/19. They informed me that the board of the mobile needs to be replaced and sent it to Delhi for the same. I received the mobile after repairs on 23/05/209. I used the mobile again for a day and the same problem cropped up. I have now given the mobile back to the same Nokia Care on 25/05/09 and have been assigned a new job no. [protected]/090525/72. They have again informed me that the mobile has to be sent to Delhi for repairs. Here's hoping that they are able to solve the issue this time...

                          myself Meenakshi here, i have bought Nokia N95 few days back and found that the handset was not getting switched on, we went to nokia customer care and they uploaded the software without even tryin to know what was the fault, once we got back with handset it again got switched off and then they told us thtat there's soem fault in the battery.now such expensive handset is having fault we are really pissed off and wnat to replace our handset.
                          now the dealer is telling that replacemen is possible in 24hrs or depends upon customer care and customer care is telling that it depends upon dealer.
                          If there's genuine consumer court exist in india please help us because i am seeing poeple complaining that it takes ages to get the problem solved in consumer court too.plesae get us justice.
                          yes Meenakshi thats true Nokia N95 has some inbuilt fault same thing has happened with lots of my friends.
                          But do not worry, consumer court is always fast to help we victims. hope you will sooon get the handset replaced

                          Last two months back i face one problem in my mobile such as mobile automatic restart.After that i visit nokia care in coimbatore.Nokia care representative solve my problem through software upgradation.After that other problem will raise such as network problem.Again i visit nokia care and again nakia care representatives upgrade my software.finally in my phone memory from 140MB reduced to 30MB.On[protected] i visit nokia care for solving the problem, again the nokia care representatives upgrade my software the same problem will exist.

                          Dude simply dial *#7370# and format ur phone. Try deleting evrythng frm ur phne memory. Then go to nokia care n tell them to giv ur phne a flash n remove evrythng and then install the latest compatiable symbian OS.

                          Hi i bought a handset from singapore before 10 months. That handset is NOKIA 5320. But before 1 week i faced a problem in my phone. It doesnot get switched on. I thought it was battery fault. So i chargd ny phone for approx 1 hour and i tried to switch on. But it didnt get switched on. Then i hurried to Nokia care in Hyderabad and spoke to one person and gave my mobile to him. He tld me to collect my handset on that day evening. Then i called him and he asked to collect my phone.                           By default my phone memory was 130 MB. But recently i hid some video files using an explorer. & now those files are lost,still occupyng the particular amount of memory.                               Nokia - 6681 — Pathatic Support on warranty replacement

                              I have purchased the model of Nokai 6681 about 7 months back. Since beginning the handset is not working properly. Earlier 2 times i registered complaints to customer care along with my handset. Nokia returned back after servicing but the problem remain same. Agian 3rd time registered the complaint alonwith the handset on 29/01/2008 but till date I have not received the same. To manage my bunsinees I have purchased one more mobile.

                              Now i am left out with only option of approching Consumer court.

                                Respected sir,
                                i purchased nokia 6300(slim) mobile two years before here. now there is a problem in mobile battery back up and charging. so i went to nokia care in karur, they said we will correct this one with in four days. i waited four days but the problem is not over in my mobile. now they are saying we can not correct this problem and there is no response for ever.now what can i do? then, i seen nearly ten customers of yours in nokia care in karur, the answer for every one is " we can not or we will send to HQ". i expect your answer for what can i do for my mobile?

                                  I have always been a buyer of NOKIA COMMUNICATOR handsets since its launch, Lately i have seen that the handset is giving problems in the software and also in the hardware.The latest E90 purchased by me has been with your service centre twice due to outgoing audio problem.once it was returned in the month of april due to non availability of parts and now it is lying in your service centre the last 3 days as they are not able to solve the issue.i am quite tired of this and request you to replace the handset with another one.details of the service centre are as follows:V.CARE 408, bharathiyar road, new siddhapudur, coimbatore tel no [protected] and job no[protected]/090615/28 .ASC 419_465550

                                  CAN NOKIA MAKE THERE MANAGERS MORE APPROACHABLE.
                                  THAT'S THE REASON THEY LOSING MARKET SHARE.

                                  Nokia — Handset E 90 For Repair

                                  My nokia E90 phone which was purchased on 16-04-08 from an authorised nokia dealer in Indore .On 4th October my voice was not going out of the phone to the caller/reciever. So I went to M/s Gayatri Incorporation an authorised repair centre of Nokia in Indore on 4th October 2008 (JOB SHEET NUMBER:[protected]/081004/73). I was told that the handset would go to L3 Level for repairs. Than i received a call on 14th oct from the same service centre that the handset is not repairable & it would be swapped with a same E 90. After repeated calls to the service centre till today i.e 01/11/08 nothing has been done. Please help me in this regards. I was very much dependent on my E-90.If nokia advertises these phones as buisiness Phones, It should understand the importance of the same.
                                  This kind of pathetic service from nokia was never expected. I would surely lodge a complain in consumer forum.

                                      HI I went to a Nokia care here in Mumbai situated in bandra(W) - 400050 on st martins road and got my Nokia N72 repaired from there. That person turned out to be a big cheat..he fleashed me with the repairing charges..My display IC was not working, but when I gave him to repair the phone he said that the display is also not working and gave me an estimate of Rs 3, 100. But after negotiation he brought it down to RS 2700 saying that he's not charging service charges. But at that time I dint not the charges exactly..so the other day when I checked out the prices at a Nokia Priority dealer at Dadar, he said he would charge me only 1, 950 to get both repaired. So is there any way I can get my money back from this cheat..Moreover he tells people before checking the phone that he will charge Rs 250 to give them an estimate if the do not repair their phone there..This is never heard of by any co. to charge a customer just to know whats wrong and get an estimate..
