    My name is Sameer.M. Kolhe from Nagpur.My brand new mobile N73 just sent to the nokia care center for version updating in P S ELECTRONICS 29 sidhesh pratksha ring road, pratapnagar nagpur. but I don't know how they broke my mobile display and cracked motherboard bits .this information i got from the shop were i purchase the mobile .when i gave them the mobile to repair then it was in the warranty and they said when warranty will over and then only we can repair the mobile .But my mobile is in warranty . I gave them for software version updating and they broken my mobile's hardware . They always says that come tomorrow and take your mobile to your home and always gives me different excuses that the software is not updating fully and etc .my mobile's purchased date is 7/7/2008 and warranty till 7/7/2009 and i gave the mobile on 9/2/2009 and they said that your mobile warranty is gone .When i gave them the mobile the mobile was working but only version was not there. and nokia care workers fully dead my mobile and my joystick and keypad is not moving .

      I bought a Nokia N-95 phone from Dubai on February 9th 2009 from Dubai and i travelled back home to India . At present i am in Chennai.
      The problem is that ever since i purchased the phone the phone keep on giving me problems at regular intervals. That is the phone automatically selects some applications and does something odd without even touching the keys.At times it does not even detect the SIM and at times it does not even switch on.
      I have given it twice to the Nokia care centre and they repair it for high costs of around rs 600 and
      rs400 after which the phone works fine for another one month.
      This time the problem has come back again and they are asking me to pay a sum of Rs2800/ as they have to change some strip they told.My phone has warranty as it was purchased only in Feb9th 2009 but they say that since i bought it from Dubai i do not get a warranty here in India.When i had purchased the phone it was told to me that the phone has international warranty and could be repaired anywhere.
      Kindly explain me as to why inspite of this i am not able to get my phone repaires under warranty in India. Nokia claims to have an international warranty but then when we have a problem with the handset in a different country they say that the warranty is not there.
      I require that Nokia care does my phone repair with the international warranty this time atleast and get my handset repaired .
      Kindly send me a reply immediately failing to which i would have to approach the consumer court.

      Now there are few problems occurs in my handset(in warranty period), the gap between the sliding slot is much more than the normal "NOKIA N95" handset & it restart on its own automatically during talking.Then i go to your NOKIA CARE CENTER"TURBO INFOTECH S-9 MARUTI PLAZA SANJAY PLACE AGRA"To check our problems then they told me that this is not a problem and they deny to correct my problem, then I said to them that I will report to your upper authority than they behave very rudily and said that no will consult my complaint and they said "we will not correct your problem at any cost and do any thing u want"This behaviour force me to mail the complaint to you.
      so kindly please take any legal action against them & correct my handset problem.

      NOKIA - N-95 — NOT RECEIVED MY HANDSET

      I PURCHASED a nokia N-95 hand set 0n 27 march2008, with in 12 months i have faced problems several time regarding screen flcuctuation & flickering (5 times). i have purchased it for Rs 34, 500 but can not use it for more than half a year coz most of the time it is with customer care center - Patel Nagar.
      Finally after a year they approved me to replace my set but that has taken more than 2 months the handset is still with them and till the date i havnt recivd my cell phone. after approval of my handset on 4/4/2008 and return date was 7/4/2008. And today is 28/4/2008.
      i am waiting and waiting and waiting...
      Now i want that my cell warranty should be increased for atleast 8 months. because i donot have my cell phone for that much period of time.
      I request the concern authority to help me and file a complaint against the company.

      I am Chandan Sharma. I was lots of problem. I have given then Heandsfree 2 feb 2008 but i can receive. My heads free because whenever I asked Nokia care for Gurgaon branch but he not given proper answer and several time. They asked me it will come to Friday but its fourth month but no response. I was contact to other branch Noida nokia center. He told me 3230 model heads free are available but gurgaon Branch told me there is not coming 3230 model head free from Nokia care. I have lots of problem because I have attended some meeting for client side.

      Please Help Me.

        Dear Sirs

        Let me introduced myself, I am Dattatraya G Bhosale. I have purchased mobile of Nokia Model No 1661 on 04th April 09 of Rs 1875 from Prince Telecom, 213, Anant Building, Princess Street, Marine Lines, Mumbai - 400002 email id : [protected]@gmail.com.

        I purchased mobile on 04th and on 06th of April Mobile Display was Mechanically broken, I was surprised hardly two days passed after new purchase and i faced problem. I rushed to the Shop (Prince Telecom ) and showed the problem arised they advised me to go to the customer care. I went to Nokia Care (FONECITY) 214-c Sethna Bldg, Prince Street, Marine Lines Mumbai - 400 002. email [protected]@nokiacareindia.com. I showed the Cell Phone to them they started arguing with me but one of the officer replied me that there is no display available with us not in Mumbai nor in Delhi office. They promised me that they will replaced my pc or change the display of my Mobile.

        Till today they are not giving me proper answer.They always delay or ignore my problem, I always call up them and asked what happen regarding my compliant. But always i received negative answer from them.

        Kindly adviced what to Do

        I am ordinary person what should i do so they will take my complaint on high priority

        Please help me

        Nokia Mobile — Not satisfy by customer care

        Ref : Purchase of Nokia 1662



        I am a regular coustmer of Nokia for years now & never faced any problem.Satisified with the services provided,recently purchased Nokia 1662 on 17 May 09 .But within a months time from the purchase i started facing problem.Informed the purchase center on 27th July,was asked to submit the set as informed there had been some software problem.Was also asked to collect the set the same day in 2-3 hrs.After inserting the battery the same problem occured.

        The next day i.e 28th July submitted the battery which i collected back on 29th July.Again with the same problem was asked to submit the cell along with the battery for L3 on the 31st July which was collected on 12th August as asked to do.

        Again to my disappointment faced the same problem. !3th, 14th,15th being off because of gazzatted holidays couldnot re-submitt the set,which was done on the 17th August along with the battery this time & was asked to collect it on the 28th August.Finally the set was collected on 1st Sept still with the same software / battery whatever problem your service station people have to name.

Would request you to either re-place my set or reimburse me the full amount in a week's time or else as per all the above mentioned i really need to take a legal action against the purchase to the consumer court. Though this is not had even thought of initially but being forced to do so.

        Actually i bought Nokia N97 Mini handset 3 months before which is in warranty period. My side lock unlock key came out suddenly one day. i visited nokia care in Dhobi Ghat area, near Golibar Maidan in Pune, they said they will keep cell for 5 days and amount charged will be 1800 Rs. is it worth to pay?

            myself ganesh dnyandeo khalekar i am using ur product nokia 6233 sir actually when i started my mobile few seconds it will again switch off..i am purchasing a new battery about 3 months..wats actually problem..i want to solution of this problem...plz help me...my phone memory still 3 mb free sir..memory card is also empty and 100% virus free..sim card is also kk...actually i stared my phone by removing SIM CARD and MEMORY CARD but stilll same problem it will automatically switch off...i great hope u will solve my problem...still i have a great confidence on NOKIA..

                I am also facing camera stand by problem, this due to full memory, have free my phone and card memory and now it is working properly. Take backup before doing this.
                hey rajnish, my cell got lot of free memory .. still when i turn on my camera and try to take pic or make video, camera goes on standby automatically .. i restored all factory settings but not usefull .. please dude i[censored] have any idea please let me know, mail me ..

                i purchased a cell phone NOKIA 3110C three months back. But i dont know what kind of mobile is this. I am facing so many problems (You cant hear the sound properly, etc.) .                 all those who r facing this problem can solve it by updateing their phone's software..u can do it by downloading the software from nokia site(through USB) or u can also do it in any Nokia priority shop for spending Rs.150...try it..
                camera on standby problum
                I am using Nokia 3110C handset from past 5years. But now I am not unable to take pictures from my mobile, the error is showing as "Camera on standby". Earlier also I faced this problem, that time I deleted some unwanted data from phone memory and also memory card. The problem was solved that time. Now also I tried the same many a times, but still I am facing the problem though I have enough memory space. What should I do? Please suggest me.

                  1. It is intimated that I have purchased Nokia 5610 xpress music set on 19 Nov 08 from Big Bazar, Gwalior (MP).
                  2. In the month of Mar 09, a fault of display flickering started in this set.
                  3. I had handed over the set to Authorize Nokia Care ‘ Progressive Care’ Gwalior (ASC-180_343506) on 14 Mar 09 for repair under warranty. The concerned Nokia Care staff had told me that it would be repaired in 2 or 3 days and I could collect this set on 16 Mar 09.
                  4. Till date, I could not receive my mobile set. Whenever, I asked the concerned Nokia care Gwalior, they replied that it will come in 2 to 3 days, but 2 to 3 days has been become about 2 months. Now Nokia care Gwalior staff is not giving satisfactory reply.
                  5. Therefore, it is requested that please do needful action and inform me “How much more time is required to repair?” If you will not take any decision, finally I have to go in Consumer forum.
                  6. The details of mobile set are as follows:

                    I PURCHASED NOKIA E63 ON MARCH 2ND WEEK BUT ON THE 04 MAY I SWITCH OFF THE MOBILE AND KEPT IT NEXT WHEN I WAS GOING TO ON IT DOES NOT WORK.

                    my phone map not working
                    sir,
                    i wahave buyed a nokia e63...i want to know how to connect to internet...am using bsnl card...
                    sir plse tell me...at the earliest...am not getting connected through WLAN also..it says bad gate way.sir how to connect plse tell so that i can browse through mob..
                    i bought E63 mobile phone 2 days ago and the problem is that gmail is not connecting on it.
                    i am having vodafone postpaid connection and GPRS is also activated on it but i am not able to retrieve my emails nor i am able to connect to my mailbox.


                    also tell me that i should connect my mailbox with which network of vodafone

                    Drop the company; they should be taken to MRTPT and banned from selling in India. I have spent 4 nights trying to download the phone software; for a few thousand rupees NOKIA believes in jacking the happiness of customers and like a large IT global giant they DO NOT CARE. I am willing to dump my phone; rather throw it at their corporate office reception, break a glass or a face and feel at peace;NOKIA DESERVES TO LOOSE IT's SHARE and BUSINESS and their IT TEAM should be beated up. NOKIA I will celebrate the day you close business in India...and that will be soon enough...
                    Six months back I have purchased a NokiaE63 model from the beginning itself it is working very slowly, i.e., very slow response on commands.i never expected such very worst product from Nokia.I approached nokia customer care they have told me that software upgradation will solve your problem.But still it is working in the same condition even after software upgradation..

                    I have Nokia E63 & using Vodafone as mobile connection...for using internet on it, i use Vodafone live as access point...i have problem in using Nokia Email...it shows error message when it connects to email server...so i m not able to install & use it properly
                    where as other person using airtel connection, he can use it successfully...plz tell me y is it so

                    VODAFONE LIVE activation does not support Nokia Push mail. You need to pay extra money to Vodafone for "Vodafone Mobile Connect" plan which costs 199/month for rental and 5ps/10kb as extra cost. Throw away Vodafone get another service provider like DOCOMO, AirCell, Idea etc. they dont charge for this push mail service on GPRS charges. Or if you can not change your number wait for Mobile Number Portability and switch to another network.

                      On November 10, 2008, I bought one mobile handset model Nokia E71, Serial No. [protected], from The IT Zone, Emall building, Boring Road Crossing, Patna 800 001 (India) with a proper bill.

                      Right from the very beginning, I am having problem with the newly bought Nokia E71 handset. It is perpetually having a ringing tone issue, that is to say none of the ring tones are audible enough even at the highest ringing volume. I got this checked thrice by the service centre guys at Patna and Kolkata and they have not been able to resolve it and acknowledged that this is a manufacturing defect and accordingly I have got 3 job-sheets depicting the same defect.

                      I first took my phone for repair on 20th June 2009 at Ganpati Mobile Bank, Nokia Care Centre, Patna. They claimed to have replaced the ringer and returned back the handset claiming that it is in order (I have a copy of the Job-Sheet). But I am sorry to say that the problem could not be rectified and I once again gave my phone at Anand International Behala, Nokia Care Centre in Kolkata on 14th April 2009. They worked on it, but couldn’t rectify the problem (I have a copy of the Job-Sheet). They clearly stated that it was a manufacturing defect and they needed to send it to Delhi for further actions and examinations and that would take about 2-3 weeks time for rectification and further actions. This is an impossible proposition and in this regard I would like to state that this is a company provided business phone and I am not in a position to hand over the handset for 2-3 weeks. I need immediate action and that too I need to get this handset replaced.

                      As a further persuasion and request I once more took my phone for repair on 30th May 2009 at Ganpati Mobile Bank, Nokia Care Centre, Patna and requested them for replacement on top priority basis, but they again examined the phone (I have a copy of the Job-Sheet) and told me the same story that they needed to send it to Delhi for further actions and examinations and that would take about 2-3 weeks time for rectification / replacement and further actions. But again I would reiterate and state that I am not in a position to part with the handset for 2-3 weeks as this is a company provided business phone and connection and I need immediate replacement of this handset.

                      I ardently take this opportunity to request NOKIA to replace this mobile handset with a new one of the same model as I think there is a persistent problem with this hand set and also, I feel that even if repaired handset is provided back to me, it may again create the same problem and bitter experience for me. I have already been harassed a lot with this hand set.

                      This seems to be a serious problem. I have heard from other E-series users as well. Never in my dreams I thought that Nokia can be such a cheat. Request the forum to address the problem at the earliest.
                      Nokia is detoriorating its quality/service performance day by day in India. The forum should sincerely address this problem
                      The performance of Nokia in India is becoming perpetually degraded. They make false promises to the customers to sell the products and do not provide the service level. This is most unfortunate.

                        I m extremely irritated, disappointed and mentally tortured because of the great services that you offer. To my utter disgust and annoyance for past MONTH AND HALF, I have been through hell because of you. I am a student at the NID and my cell phone is the only way I can connect to the outer world and for that matter my near and dear one. I got this phone a few months ago. One day it suddenly for no reason it switches off n does not start again. I took it to the near by nokia care. They kept it for a week and sent it to Delhi to get it repaired. the hour I got it, it stopped working again in less that half an hour... the second time I gave it they kept it 4 over two weeks and it stopped working in two days ... Again, there is no reason why it should happen can’t an international company who has high clams repair a phone in three weeks the amount of time I have spent coming and going to nokia, care is not funny.                         PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT AS I HAVE LOST MY PACITANCE AND LOADS OF VALUABLE TIME. SINCE YOU HAVE PROVED THAT YOU CANT FIX MY PHONE YOU SHOULD REPLACE IT.

                          I have Nokia N 73- Music edition, which 1.5yrs old. when a call came to me, suddenly my phone got hanged. When switched off and on, it stops at the point where "Nokia" symbol appears and did not proceed further and I even tried by removing by battery, but still the problem is not solve.
                          So I called Nokia customer care, they asked me to go the nearest Nokia care at
                          Mobile care,
                          #808, 7th cross,
                          Mico layout, BTM II stage,
                          Bangalore-76.

                          I gave the phone to them in the same day. On the next day when I called them up at 11.00 a.m. They said that they have installed new OS ver 4.8 and everything works fine and they asked to come and collect. When I went to Nokia care at the evening to collect my phone, they suddenly said that both the speakers are gone and not working. But I gave them a set with good speakers and only problem was hanging. They said that they are not responsible for that and gave me the phone and charged Rs. 440 for installing OS.
                          Not only they have wrongly handled the device and also broken one of the keys of my keypad and kept it neatly that I would not know.

                          How come both the speakers can go wrong at the same time and that to due to OS hanging problem. I am not pleased by the Nokia care service, which is done by less experience guy at BTM II stage. If the speakers were problem they should have informed me at the morning when i inquired at the status of the repair. but suddenly they came up with a new problem in the evening.
                          I called up Nokia contact center and informed about this problem, but they are not ready to take up this case or log a complaint.

                          Please think before and take all precautions before u give the sets to Nokia Care.

                            i bought my nokia n73m in august 2007. it is still in warranty period.
                            actually my camera key is not woking. i give it two times in nokia service center for 15 days each.
                            but they are just unable to solve the problem completly, so im just unable to use that function
                            I AM HAVING N73 M. SINCE LAST TWO DAYS I AM NOT ABLE OPEN ANY PDF FILE.
                            PL HELP ME IN THIS REGARD

                            Nokia N73 M — Nokia N73 M often getting restarted

                            I bought my Handset N73 from Wavetel, Pursawalkam, Chennai on 3rd July'08.From the second day till today it is getting restarted 3 times a day. When i took back to them. They asked to go to Nokia Care. When I visited Nokia Care they simply formatted my mobile and loaded all softwares gave me back on 12.07.2008 & again on 13.07.08 it got restarted (without using memory stick), and again on 14.07.2008 again went to nokia care and got formatted again and now 15.07.2008 it is getting restarted.Now I have given to Nokia Care, Purasawakkam and they have given Job Card No.1903, ASC Code[protected] on 16.07.2008.

                            But now what to do please advice?

                            Please replace my handset !! What is the procedure!

                            I am very much worried i have not used my handset usefully even one day what to do please advice ?

                            Nokia N73 M — NOT SUPPORT WEB

                            I have purchased Nokia N73 M in DT.27.3.2009. Within 2 days of purchase the web support the phone has gone off.
                            I have given my phone for repairs on 4th APRIL09 & today being 10thAPRIL i have not heard anything form the service center. The service center numbers given are perennially engaged & after 30 -40 attempts cant get thro. Also Nokia call center is very ineffective in helping this resolve.

                            I guess the consumer is paying the price for making this brand numero uno & i really wish I had evaluated some other brand rather than putting blind faith in Nokia MY JOB SHEET NO.[protected]/090403/21

                            Nokia BP-6M Battery — Battery of my Nokia N73 Music swells up within 2 years

                            I have a nokia N-73M and my battery BP-6M had recently started giving very erratic power backup when I checked, to my surprise i found the battery size nearly doubled.
                            Its not a question of warranty, why is that nokia being the single largest cell phone manufacturer is repeatedly facing such issues with batteries, is it the cost-cutting from their end which is costing the customers dear.
                            Even after buying a phone in the Rs 20K range, the consumers cannot expect product quality even for 2 years.
                            These faulty batteries should be replaced immediately and Nokia should take steps to check this from happening lest it spoils its image in the biggest cell phone market of the world.
                            I have filed the complaint at the customer support in bangalore also but no updates from them, the local nokia care at Sec-15 Faridabad says that they have communication from nokia to replace this battery.
                            There are suggestions that this happens due to over charging and that the battery should be charged for 2 hours flat, I dont charge the phone continuously and I have had 4 phones before this and have been using mobiles for 6 years now and have never faced such issue except this battery.

                            a) The batter size has increased and it is difficult to fit the battery in the handset if you remove it for any purpose

                            Sir/Madam,
                            This is to bring to urgent notice that I have brought NOKIA N73 on 04/09/2009 from VODAFONE STORE bearing the IMEI No- [protected]. But after using some days, the handsfree that is headphone is disturbing, sound problem and one side ear's sound use to remain silent.
                            And another problem is Battery charging backup. To be full charged this particular mobile is taking near about 3hrs-4hrs.After full charging if some more calls will be there then the charge use to go down drastically.
                            I am a NOKIA user from last 10 years, before I had- 6600, N70(M), 6030, Engage QD, but never such battery problem I faced. Its a costly handset, normally those problem must not be there.

                            I want the replacement both of my handsfree and battery.
                            So what I have to do just put a response.

                              With in one year i got the problem regarding reboot of my phone again & again i got totally harrased i formatted my phone pressing *3 and the answering button after that it started working properly but after few days ther was a problem regarding charging i had to charge it for more then a full night but then also it used to charge only 3 points now i need to move to consumer greviances cell once i let them notice that whats going on with me

                              Nokia E61i — Negligence of the service centre

                              This is to bring to your notice of the negligence of the service center here at Panjagutta,Hyderabad.
                              I had handed over my phone which was very well working to dry and return as it had fallen in water.but they just dint take any action for 6 days and then with constant pestering they gave me the answer that its unrepairable and can be taken back.

                              I am Harbir Singh from Orissa.I ahd purchased a nokia e61i in the month of Feb' 08.Some data connectivity problem occured in the month of May'08.I had given the set on 20th may 2008 to RNS Enterpriser, Ainthapali, Sambalpur, Orissa-768004.The set was externally in good condition.After a month, after repeated calls, .visits I got my set which was not up to my satisfaction and externally also it was toatlly scrached from front screen and back side.When I complained this then one of a person incharged for this state replied that they are not responsible for caring your set.They are only to repair and not bother for handling with care.I returned the set back to them bcoz the problem was not rectified.I doubt that the set was being used by the employees in the service centre.Finally they commit that they are going to provide me new set instead of the old one.Regularly I am going to them for my set but every day they says that come after 2 days and take a new set from us.But regularly going after each and every 2 days I have completed my more than 4 months but yet I havent got my cell and the people are least bother to hear us.They think What they says are right and what we say is wrong?Now I am very much frustrated and cant toloret any more.

                                i ttake this phone inapril 2008 in 12500 Rs now the showing hang problem
                                in this handset i am puted 1 GB card & the used memory is 345 mb.& in manual ur mobile supportted upto 2 GB memory card.
                                so we need want the solution to rectifiy this problem

                                I baught a nokia mobile (5610)on august 2008. From the very second day its become complained. in this short period seven times i goes to nokia care for service. First time they just serviced it second time they upgrade the software.But evenafter this, the mobile showing the same complaint.No keys are working.Then I made some noise in the nokia care centre, manager agreed to replace the mobile.I got the replaced mobile after 14 days . But at that knight the mobile showing the same habit. I am totally wonderd about your service, because Iam trusted in nokia and your service. Fourth time i goes to nokia care again for service . They just do the same [upgrading the soft ware]. In that manner i goes 7 times in nokia care centre . But still my mobile is not given me a good result . Ihave lossed 7 working days and upto 3500 RS in addition of 13000 RS price of this mobile .I do only one wrong thing, thats buying a new nokia mobile . I am the customer of nokia, from the begining of nokia india pvt limited . Ibought my first mobile nokia-3310, then nokia-2300, nokia-2600, nokia-6080 and finally 5610.Only the last purchased mobile is disappointed me it lost my money and time . I baught this due to your reliability and trustness. But you are failed to satisfy my hope . I hope you will concider my complaint in its seriousnes and replace my mobile with a new complaintsfree handset. Otherwise it will adversly affect you very much . I have to spent only 1000 RS for a press meet or for some publishings. I am not threatening you, but i have to do some thing that should reduce your sales and trustnes. So you should take necessary step to satisfy me .It should increase your name in the public.

                                nokia 5610 XpressMusic — Dispay, slider, Hang-on

                                Hi I am from Hyderabad, India
                                I purchased a Cellphone 5610 on 12th July08. In the three months it started giving the problem of Hanging and switched off. After some days it's LCD was going off while sliding and receiving call.

                                For this problem I submitted a complaint to Customer care at HYDERABAD, (with jobsheet no:[protected]/090129/109
                                After 9 days i received a message of repair and I collected a cellphone. It was very unfortunate that within 4-5 hours the LCD started going OFF. Next day it gone permanently OFF. It was told me that cellphone was sent to Chennai for repair and will not have problem again after repairing.
                                Request you to take it as a feedback and look into matter.

                                nokia 5610 XpressMusic — no response from nokia care centre

                                Dear Sir/Mam,

                                This is to irritate me that from Nokia I m not getting any service. first time I have given this mobile to Naranpura Nokia care, they have taken 700 rs. for nokia belt also they were telling me that this phone is not repairable, 2 time I was gone to stadium nokia care they r also not responding, they r saying that u have to go to naranpura, I m confused where I have to go, to whom I have to meet.This phone is also in a warranty period. In 5610 problem first is blank display, second is speaker problem means I cant hear the voice. But noone is soloving this problem.
                                from nokia I cant expect this type of service, kindly do the needful & contact me on given the mobile no or give reply ASAP. So pathetic services from nokia care centre...

After i bought, the incomming volume gradually decreases and comes to the stage of non audible.I have given for service at thanjavur (ref 1). I recived the phone after servicing with some what better but not with full volume. after some days again the volume decreases as before .then second time i gave for servicing, they update the software and made some servicing(ref 2). after 20 days the phone comes to complete dead . no power on, nothing.(ref 3). again i gave for service and the people there said some technical problem which we cannot solve and they send my phone to delhi and asked me to come after 10 or 15 days.often it is hanging after the second time servicing.
                                  Now how can i get incomming calls with out phone during these days and i am daily using gprs internet for commercial purpose.how can i do my work if it takes 10 to 15 days..
                                  As the price of the phone is nearly 7000.00 and bought with confident on nokia the cellphone from the time i bought had contineous problem and even it is solved by now how can i trust it will not get fault in future. the warrenty period will expire in 3 months. so if possible kindly provide another model with same specification gprs, 2Mpixel camara and 3g phone. i will give difference amount if any, The model itself has problem at the manufacture level and keep on giving problem, the only solution is give me another model iistead of that. i have no confident with this model and what is the meaning of 1 year warrenty if the problem is not solved permanently.or extend the warrenty period to one more year. kindly reply. my contact no [protected].In 9 months it goes to service centre 3 times. what is its meaning of buying nokia phone with high price.

                                  My Client: SRI ABHIJIT ROY, son of Sri Arun Kumar Roy, Hindu by faith, resident of Arabinda Pally P.O. Rabindra Sarani Siliguri — 734006, district of Darjeeling, within the state of West Bengal in India.



                                  Upon instructions of and on behalf of my client above mentioned I would like to bring to your notice and appraisal the following facts and circumstances as enumerated below:

                                  1. That my client had purchased a Nokia handset of description Nokia 3120c bearing IMEI no. [protected] from “The Mobile Store Limited.”, having store code no. 1546 addressed at Panitanki More, Ground Floor, Sevoke Road, P.O. & P.S. Siliguri, within the district of Darjeeling on[protected] vide invoice no. WB/01546/00001/7479 for consideration amount of Rs. 6, 689.00/- (Rupees six thousand six hundred eighty nine) only including Value Added Tax of Rs. 257.27/-, i.e. Value Added Tax @ 4% of the price rate of said described handset of Rs. 6, 431.73/-.

                                  2. That only after three months since the purchase of the said handset my client came across certain fault, imperfection and shortcoming in the quality, potency, purity and standard of the said handset as is claimed by the trader in relation to the said handset.

                                  3. That having met with such disappointed inference, my client as a potential user of the said handset approached “The Mobile Store Limited” from where he purchased the said handset as mentioned above in anticipation of some solution of the defects encountered by him in relation to the said handset.

                                  4. That on being apprised of the defects faced by my client while using the handset, “The Mobile Store Limited” referred “Nokia Care Centre”, the authorized service centre of Nokia, as the only place where the solution can be meted out.

                                  5. That thereafter on[protected] my client went to the “Nokia Care Centre” addressed at THE PLANET 670, Rishi Arobindo Road, Hakimpara, Siliguri within the district of Darjeeling with the said handset and apprised the ASC engineer of the defects encountered by him while using the same.

                                  6. That the ASC engineer identified the defects as “Sometime Blank Display, Hang and Charge not stay” and scripting the same on the Service Job Sheet being no. 65 took the handset for its repair.

                                  7. That on[protected] the handset was delivered to my client by the said “Nokia Care Centre” addressed at THE PLANET 670, Rishi Arobindo Road, Hakimpara, Siliguri within the district of Darjeeling with no such defects complained of.

                                  8. That however on 3-2-2009 the defect of Blank Display again cropped up in the said handset and on the same day it was again taken to the “Nokia Care Centre” addressed at THE PLANET 670, Rishi Arobindo Road, Hakimpara, Siliguri within the district of Darjeeling and the same was voiced to the concerned engineer of the centre.

                                  9. That being apprised of the defect the centre proposed to sent it to Kolkata to get rid of the defect and on the following day i.e. on 4-2-2009 my client was intimated over telephone that the same would be sent to Kolkata and my client could collect it from the centre only after expiry of 2 to 3 weeks from that day.

                                  10. That thereafter on[protected] my client took delivery of the said handset from the centre at 2 PM in the desired condition but to his utter astonishment the same defect again cropped up at 5 PM on the same day i.e. after expiry of 3 hours from the time of delivery of the said handset by the centre to my client and immediately, it was again taken to the centre by my client and on enquiry by my client they divulged that in Kolkata the LCD of the handset was changed to get rid of the defect complained of and since the defect again cropped up they decided to keep the handset with them for 1 day for observation.

                                  11. That on[protected] my client again went to the “Nokia Care Centre” addressed at THE PLANET 670, Rishi Arobindo Road, Hakimpara, Siliguri within the district of Darjeeling and on enquiry about the status of the handset the concerned engineer could not deliver the handset to my client in the desired working condition as the defect of Blank Display prevailed and they again decided to send it to Kolkata and furnished a new Service Job Sheet being no.[protected]/090219/14.

                                  12. That at this point when my client harped over the harassment caused to him out of the whole incident and opted for replacement of the said handset with a fresh one of the same description the concerned engineer misbehaved with my client hurling abuses at him in presence of other customers and reiterated on the point that the same is not within their scope to make the defect right and they will sent it to Kolkata tomorrow.

                                  13. That on[protected] on enquiry over telephone to the centre about the handset my client was intimated by rude and impolite voice that it has been sent to Kolkata and my client was threatened not to disturb them anymore failing which they will not bother to take his case into consideration.

                                  14. That on comprehensive appraisal of the entire facts and circumstances it comes to notice that the handset in all circumstances suffered and will suffer from certain serious defects which is not curable.

                                  15. That till this day my client has not been provided with a fresh handset of the same description which divulges the utter indifference, irresponsibility, sorry lack of infrastructure and departure from normal standards of consumer kindness of a company which canvass itself as the best service provider in the whole world with respect to handsets and the same highlight unfair trade practice on your part.

                                  16. That my client is a computer hardware engineer and receives calls from several places for rendering hardware services in many important educational and commercial institutions but with his handset not being in working condition he has to and still has to forgo several important calls and out of such inconvenience he has incurred a huge financial loss.

                                  17. That the whole incident has left my client absolutely disgruntled, anguished, disappointed, frustrated and mentally pained.

                                  18. That there has been serious fault, imperfection, shortcoming and inadequacy in the quality, nature and manner of performance which is required to be maintained in pursuance of the terms and conditions set forth by the “Nokia Care Centre” to my client and the same entails serious legal consequences on your part.


                                  In the background of the aforementioned facts and circumstances, I have been instructed by my client to call upon you to replace the said handset with a new one of similar description which shall be free from any defects within 24 hours of the receipt of this notice failing which my client shall be constrained to initiate against you for redressal of his grievances such proceedings civil and criminal as are warranted by law exclusively at your own peril, cost, responsibility and consequences without any further references to you.

I have the problem that incoming voice and outgoing ring bell is very feeble. Due to low voice more attention has to be paid for hearing.                                   I have purchased Nokia 3120C on 20-9-08 at thanjavur tamilnadu for the cost of 6560.00.B.no:[protected]N[protected]/ G NO:[protected] 067537. After i bought, the incomming volume gradually decreases and comes to the stage of non audible.I have given for service at thanjavur (ref 1). I recived the phone after servicing with some what better but not with full volume. after some days again the volume decreases as before .then second time i gave for servicing, they update the software and made some servicing(ref 2). after 20 days the phone comes to complete dead . no power on, nothing.(ref 3). again i gave for service and the people there said some technical problem which we cannot solve and they send my phone to delhi and asked me to come after 10 or 15 days.often it is hanging after the second time servicing.
                                  Now how can i get incomming calls with out phone during these days and i am daily using gprs internet for commercial purpose.how can i do my work if it takes 10 to 15 days..

                                    sir,
                                    i hve bought a new hand set made by nokia model(7610 supernova) on november month, the last dat i met a problem with my mobie, ie..key pad not functioning...menu not working...so i went near of my nokia care at ernakulam(near saritha theare)...ur people said liquid found in ur set.so no warrenty get ur cell...(but there is no liquid or colour change in key pad).

                                    wat the remedy for my problem...pls give a solution immedietly

[protected]) vide receipt no. 1326 book no. 27 on 26 May, 2009 .They have provided BSNL prepaid mobile SIM number [protected].I have handed over the application affixing my photographs and copy of voter ID card on the same day. The documents have been deposited with you by the firm immediately. The said SIM has not yet been activated at your end although one week has already passed.
