Hi Olx Team, My mobile phone number and name was misused by someone by placing ad with my mobile number on OLX. Due to this, I am receiving a many unwanted calls. My mobile number is[protected] . Please remove my cell number with any relevant ad.

Sir, we surfed an ad posted on olx.in about an iPhone 6 64gb by seller named Lilly Vinod: [protected], [protected], located in Erode, Tamil Nadu. She posted an ad about discounted prices of iphone 6. I transferred Rs. 3850 into her Canara Bank account, Erode through bank transfer. (Acc. No.:[protected] in the name of S. Vinoth Kumar) on 29th Dec., 2014. She provided us all the details but not the proves of the product and also sent a fake "First Flight courier" dispatch details. The product is still not received by us and the contacts are still switched off. No replies of any mail till now.

We had the most horrible experience renting out the Angels Holiday Inn - Pettah House - Club Junction - Edapally Toll - Kochi. The care taker Sen was very nice initially but at the end of our 2 days stay, he made out a bill of 4500/ day (where as it was 3000/ day in OLX). http://olx.in/item/angels-holyday-inn-3-bedroom-fully-furnished-posh-individual-...⇄ We had also booked the room for 2 nights and were to leave by 11 am. He insisted that we pay for the day in which we were leaving as well. We had to get out of the place with a fight. The house was a homestay, with a kitchen. But then we had to give an account o[censored]sing their gas and facilities. After paying for the 2 days stay, we asked for a bill of the transaction but were not given any, even though we insisted on receiving a bill, several times. We told them that we'd place a complaint on OLX and the next thing we know is that the ad has been archived in OLX. Friends, I just wanted to let you know about this place and please don't get sucked into all the sweet talk.

Hi, I purchased Iphone 5 16gb White color from www.Olx.com by contacting one of the add posting(posted by Sri ram). Made the purchase and came to home and started using it. Apparently the phone was not even received any call with in 4-5 hours from the start time (I usually get quite lot of calls), so randomly started calling people and i noticed phone speaker was not functioning properly, I tried to reach out him but it saying unavailable. His Name is Sri Ram, and his phone number is [protected] He gave me receipt for the purchase and I went to authorized apple store for replacement and they told me terrible and shocking words such as, this was stolen phone from Macua (some where in Malasiya) and was used from 2012 and the phone equipment is not at all original. So they declined to accept the piece. After investing such amount for a product and this guy just cheated me. I have the receipt details. Please take necessary actions against this.

I saw an ad on olx.in that a new WD 2TB Hard Disk is for sale at Rs4500/-. I called that person whose name is Abhishek Mishra. I met him with his friend at the Shadi Pur Metro Station. He told me that he already had a hard disk and this one is gifted by some one on his birthday which he is not using and wand to sell it off. After negotiation, i paid him Rs3500/- by using my ATM at the market just behind the market. He told me that right now he don't have any id proof etc. He assured me that if any thing goes wrong he will respond to me. The next day when i was using that hard disk it was responding but not working up-to its capacity. After the through investigation i was shocked to see that the hard is containing two major sleeve bolts and two nut waxed inside the hard disk. And only a small capacity pen drive is fixed inside the hard disk which is programmed to show the capacity of 2TB. Now i started calling the abhishek mishra for this, initially he agreed to meet me but never turned up at any spot. Now is also ignoring my no. When i use any other no to call him he used to picked the call but immediately cut the call after hearing my voice. This is simply a fraud, a matter of shame, that he has committed for just Rs.3500/-. Money is not a matter but a lesson must be taught to him so that in future he will not make this kind of fraud with any one by using this olx forum. I request you to kindly take a proper action against him. I will help you till the last moment, just to ensure that proper punishment be given to him. On 27th October I contacted the firm Image Wireless Electronic Store through Olx.in using their email id [protected]@gmail.com.I made a purchase for Apple Macbook pro for Rs.38000. Money was deposited in an Icici account.All details are available with me.But however after order they said they hav delieverd extra units of laptops and now they want security deposit of rs.48000 for those extra units if delivery has to be completed.After a long quarel i made that payment.And thats when i realised I was duped as they said they wanted rs.20000 more.I am so much traumatised after this event and would like Olx to help me with this issue as soon as possible.

sir i saw an add on olx seller name:kartik sharma having phone no [protected].. his location was SAWKUCHI(Guwahati) Assam.. his add was abaut a computer product (data card).. i transfered 1053 rupees into his sbi account having card no [protected] throu card to card transfer.. but he did not send the product.. when i forced him again and again he sent me a stone in a paper by india post service.. i got it today and when i opened it i found a stone in it.. the post was seal packed so no issue with the post service.. and boy is saying u can not make any police complain as u transfered money directely throw card to card
