i have applied for a new passport for my self on 24/08/2012, but till date my file has been not processed further.
while contacting to customer care they are saying that my file is being pending with Assistant Passport officer, RPO-kolkata and asking me to contact with the RPO itself, from 5th november 2012 i am regularly trying to contact RPO, kolkata on their number provided on the website but i am not getng any response on the same as i am not in Kolkata from october, 2012 because i am doing job in Hyderabad due to which i am not able to visit the rpo kolkata office. i have even mailed them several times to let me know the status for my passport but till date i have not received any reply from their side. please help me so that i can get my passport at earliest.

I am currently studying in Indian Institute of Technology BHU, Varanasi . I had applied for a passport in November of 2011, application number LKOZ884686. Even though I had produced all the documents during police verification the status of passport shown on the website passport is Police report is incomplete and the case is being examined.

I have applied for fresh Passport vide (File No GU[protected] on 6th July 2012. Then passport office has sent for Police Verification. Local thana (Sualkuchi Police Station) called me and informed me to submit the document i.e PAN card copy, PRC Copy, Passport Photographs, Gaonbuda Certificate, Land Paper (Dalil before 1970) Identity Proof, Electricity Bill, Ration card along with my Educational Qualification. I have already submitted all the documents to aforesaid Police Station ASI Mr Thakuria and interviewed with Thana In charge Mr Haloi. I have checked the status of the PVR in Passport Seva Site. But till today still it shows "Pending for physical police verification at your respective Thana under SP Office, District Kamrup. ". I have followed up with Passport Office they told we will not give any update till Police Verification comes. I am surprised that a simple Police Verification Report takes almost 5 months. Lastly on 1st December 2012 I personally visited the Thana and meet Mr Thakuria (ASI) he told that they don't forward any report report to SP office (Kamrup Rural) without bribe money. I denied to give any bribe money to forward the report to SP office Kamrup Rural.

To The Concerened Authority,

I had submitted my passport application on 1st of June 2012. Police Verification was done in August.

Still my passport status is showing as "Police has completed verification process on 01/10/2012. Your passport will be dispatched after 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at Regional Passport Office. You would receive an email/sms once the passport is dispatched."

I am not able to understand when would i be getting passport.

Smt Amudha Balasubramanian resident of No 3(old) No:5 (New) at velayudham street, Radhanagar chromepet chennai 600 044,and neighbour of my house has been issued a consent letter that she is bonafide person for obtaining pass port by me. When she applied for passport to proceed to Germany to see her son such a letter was issued duly certifying she and her family were a decent people of respectble family. Latter date when their qualities inclusive of her husband i.e. shri U.Balasubramanian a VRS retiree of Indianbank as a manager from mylapore branch ;came to know only I felt that I have certified wrongly to an unconerned people for their qualities, nature,behaviour ,good attitudes and characters.Their daily talks with filthy language, slang and unparliamentry words are untollerable and they are not at all fit to move in the society decently,During a small dispute and argument with them their abusive words have gone to an untolerable limit so that the hearing person might try to attempt to the extent of committing suicide.The above persons (saddist) are not at all deserving to apply either for passport or visa that too to go to Germany for seeing their son.From their worst qualities and behaviour, if the people of the country (Germany) where the reputaion of our country is being maintained to appreciable level happened to move, there is no doubt that they wd feel very much. Why should our country and the Embassy concerned admit such people to enter their country. On the interest of our nation this had to be brought to the notice.Very sorry.

I regret to bring the following information to the kind notice of Pass Port issuing authority CHENNAI..This is pertaining to letter of certification issued with my signature to the neighbour Smt Amudha Balasubramniam residing at old No:3,New No:5, Velayudham street,Radhanagar,Chromepet,Chennai 600044 who was found to be an undeserving person for possessing past port because of the rowdy behaviour of her husband and nature of the lady to associate as a decent person in the society.When they had to proceed to Germany to see their boy the lady smt.Amudha Balasubramanian approached me for issuing an introduction letter wherein I had to state tht they belong to a respectable family with good nature and character.Her husband sri U.Balasubramanian who is said to be a retired Bank Manager of Indian bank Mylapore is not fit to certify him for his good nature with good terms and relationships to associate and move with the people in the society.His words of talks during arguments and dispute with others are in slang and filthy language and since he uses unparliamentry words and profine languages..It is sure persons of this nature would certainly spoil the reputation of our country if they and the persons of their family will be allowed to go abroad being issued the passport and visa from our country. I regret once again for my ignorance for having issued an introduction letter for their good behaviour and nature.These facts havecome to known to me when I had to get involved in my personal issue and the people of my whole street know well about this and their present nature. Their fmily is planning to apply for pass port for the other members of family. Their present nature t may be examined by enquiry in the public and myself also have to lodge a complaint to the police for their urrogent nature and retaliating attitude. Issuance of the passport and visa by our Government to these people is really a serious issue in the context of preserving the reputation of our country.My humble request is the passport issuing authority has to carefully examine since I am going to withdraw my consent letter issued to them stating that they are good people.

I wish to put few lines for your kind consideration and necessary action please.

1. Sir, I have applied for the renewal of my passport on 20th May 2009, and all the requisite documents were attached duly verified by the accepting authority. The File No: GZBG00117109 was issued for renewal purpose.

2. Sir, being a Government servant, my application was duly supported by a NOC certificate from my present employer i.e. 510 Army Base Wksp, Meerut Cantt, besides other requisite documents.

3. Sir, when enquired for the process after waiting for two years in first week of Jan 2012, I was told that the verification from my present employer (510 Army Base Wksp, Meerut Cantt) is awaited. I highly appreciate the process from your kind office in sending the verification form the same time to my present employer.
The verification was duly forwarded from my employer vide 510 Army Base Wksp letter No 24501/Gen/Adm dt 18 Jan 2012.

4. Sir, on my next visit to Passport office in 3rd week of Jan 2012, I was again told about non receipt of verification from my present employer.
The verification had again forwarded to my employer and the reply to it was forwarded vide 510 Army Base Wksp letter No 24501/Gen/Adm dt 31-Jan-2012. (Copy attached)

5. Sir, now in Jun 2012, I received a letter dt 25 Apr 2012 from Passport office (copy attached) about FINAL REMINDER and CLOSING OF FILE.

My humble request to your kind honor is to inform me about my fault in all aspects. I and my employer have duly fulfilled all the projected requirements by Passport Office till date without any delay. The verification form was also forwarded twice by my employer. I have also attached the photocopy of the verification form forwarded by my employer dated 31-Jan-2012.

In view of the above, I request to your kindness to look into the matter and take necessary action please. I would always remain in debt to your kind honour in renewing my passport at the earliest please.

Passport for the Madhuri Chakraborty has been applied on 4th April,2012. It is been more than 3-4 months it is showing below status "Pending with SP,North 24 Pargamans".Though police came to my house and verified the applicant's application. I am really surprised to see the kind of service you are providing. It's been more than 6 months still passport has not been despatched. I need this immediately. Passport Inquiry delayed by the Police
Dear Sir,

This is just to bring into ur kind notice that even after the confirmation of all the documents attached to the Application of Passport by the police station Sp office amritsar road tarn taran. Still after 24 days my Passport verification is not forwarded to the Passport Office Amritsar.
So kindly help me out the way it is possible.

My name is Shrivardhan singh I am belong to UP. Dist. Etah & I
applied the passport from Bareilly on May 2011 all police verification
is complete after 4 month we receieve one letter. He said deposit your
date of birth cirthficate issue by municipal board & we send the
cirtificate by speed post after & 2 month i call the customer care he
said pls deposit your DOB cirtificate.. We have submitted the same
documents again on Counter no. 04, dated 14.03.2012 as requested by.
Since we have deposited the necessary documents twice but it has been
requested third time also to submit the same documents again. And
without knowing the reason, we have then submitted the same on dated
22.06.2012 to Mr. Sitaram Yadav (Passport officer), Bareilly. It has
been committed by Mr. Sitaram Yadav that we have the Passport within
the seven days but till now we are still waiting for the Passport.

Also the office web-site is still showing or demanding the attested
photo-copy of Birth Certificate issued by Registrar Birth & Death.We
are deposit many time but not send my passport & I need very urgent.

I hope you will be kind enough to issue me the Passport.
