Passport Office Jaipur Complaints & Reviews

I have been trying to call the Passport office in Jaipur for pass few days, unfortunately the phone keeps ringing but there is no reply. I am calling the passport office to get information regarding renewal of my 5 year old son's passport. When I tried to call on the number provided on http://passport.gov.in/jaipur.html to lodge a complaint, it says that the phone number does not exist.

The least that can be expected is that the phone call are addressed and correct numbers are provided

Concerned authorities,
I, Sinash Sidhik, has applied for an Indian Passport on june 23 2010 at RPO Jaipur under tatkal scheme. My file reference no. is JPR-A026017. Its been six months now and till now I did not get my passport.I made a mistake during filing the application form by not mentioning my college address where i studied for four years in Tamil Nadu. But during my subsequent visit to passport office I submitted another set of PP forms and i was told that an inquiry has been sent to Tamil Nadu for police verification. When i called and enquire about this to college i came to know that no police verification has reached to college nor in SP office Kanyakumari.
I am going through a mental stress due to this. I need my passport to study abroad. Due to the delay in it i had to drop an year and still i am waiting for it. I need the passport by Dec 28th so that i can file a fresh application to the university abroad.
Kindly help me and give me suggestion so that i can get it as soon as possible.

I have applied for a new passport in Feb-2008 in Jaipur passport office. File reference number is JPR-A[protected].

Police verification had done at my hometown in May-2008. Due to some problem my police report was not received at Jaipur Passport office so I visited to Jaipur office in May-2010 and again filled two PP form and submitted there. After it again my Police verification done at my hometown in July-2010.

In Aug-2010, Following status was showing on status portal for my application "Police report has been cleared and your passport will be dispatch by 10-Aug-2010". I was waiting till Sep-2010, but same status was there, then I wrote an email to Jaipur office.

In Sep-2010, they have changed the status of passport as "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time". Till time almost 5 month passed but still I am seeing same status there.

I have written so many emails to RPO Jaipur, SO (PG) Delhi and “ministry of external affair" as well.

SO (PG) Delhi always reply to RPO Jaipur and says “Necessary Action please. For SO (PG)” but RPO Jaipur never take any action and even I did not receive a single reply from RPO Jaipur.

Can you please tell me how many days are in your calendar for a week? Status is saying that your passport will dispatch in a week time while almost 5 month passed.

Please dispatch the passport as soon as possible or change the status or let me know if something is pending from my side.

Myself vaibhav jaiman 21 yr from Banswara(Raj.) ,have applied for passport in last year dated nov. 2009 and it is almost more than 10 months I haven't received my passport yet,all the formalities has been done from our end including the verification and the application is being send to the jaipur head office for further processing but yet not received any news.

According to my knowledge the passport shouldn't take more than 3 months and in worst case can extend upto 4 months but it is almost more than 1 year,

Kindly check this matter on the urgent basis as I have completed my B.tech and have applied abroad for further studies and the due to this hurdle I am very much tensed.

but still no response.I think they just create the mail id and have filtering the mails to automatic delete/move to junk reducing there so called burden ....Not understanding the headache of the consumer.

Might be the delayed would be due to the rain ,headache ,stomach pain just as a stupid reason a LKG boys gives to his class teacher.

This all things just direct that the concern authorities not interested in doing work without any extra payement..so called bribe.. WHY ???????

I had applied for new passport for my wife on 15Jul2010, On 1Sep2010 I checked the status of my application and It was like: Police Report is clear and the passport is expected to be despatched by[protected]. Subject to all documents being in order. When I again checked the status on 8 Sep It was:
"It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time" till today I am getting the same message. I dont know when their one week will complete.
I tried to call all the numbers available on jaipur passport office website more than 100 time but I did not get a respinse single time.....I have sent them email 1 onth back there also no respone.....God knows when my passport will come

My name is Vidyadhar and I am awaiting my passport since last 1 year. I applied on 18/12/2009 and after the police verification the status on the website of Passport office is "The police report is incomplete and the case is being examined". I met with the concerned person at the passport office Jaipur and was advised to fill some "PP" form. I have done that thrice and have inquired many a times and was disappointed by how they responded. They are not going to dispatch my pp form to the next concerned dept. until and unless I will go with a strong "jack" which I suppose I won't be able to arrange anyhow.

I Hitesh vadera, application no. JPR A035536 10, had applied for a fresh passport in Tatkal quota on 31st August, 2010. But I haven't received yet my passport. On 2nd September It was showing on the status page that your passport was ready on 02/09/2010. But after I had opened the status page but was showing nothing. It is now almost 9 days i havn't received the passport. It is an urgent request that please check the passport status and let me know when are you dispatching. I had applied on urgent basis. let me know the status. and update it on the passport website. So I can have a look at it.

Dear All,

I had applied for Tatkaal passport Scheme to get passport in 7 days on 26th -07-2010. However i have not received the passport yet after 24 days. ater on 9th of Aug I received a letter from passport office jaipur stating that I should furnish an affidavit to obtain separate passport . I have submitted the said affidavit on 12.08.2010 but the status on the jaipur passport office web site showing nothing I am constantly trying to contact over phone also but no body his repplying. I have also written a mail to RPO but no response so far. . Please suggest what to do. File refrence no. JPRA03046710

I did following steps to know the status however i am unable to get any update so far.

1- I went two times to passport office but there were huge line 1000 people and there were only one window to handle all query and they are unable to solve the query of 80 % of population. If there are so many people then why there is only one window to handle all query. The face is that 70 % people are coming from other part of rajasthan.
2.Why the people in the office are not answering the Phone , Email and Fax?
3.Why the status of passport is not update on site ?, if this is update on site on timely basis then this will reduce the population of people coming there for query.
4. Why the Officer are not able to verify all the document required for the passport on 1st time when this is their responsibility to verify all the document on 1st time. They usualy send letter stating to furnish some other document. This reduces the efficiency of department and also give trouble to applicant.

I request you to assist Jaipur passport office to make them more transparante, efficient and corruption less department. Currently the corruption in this office on peak. Please take necessary steps to stop corruption and make them more efficient.

Because of this delay i lost my job. But now i would like you to assist people like us so that this can be avoided in future.

IF IN GOVERNMENT SERVICE PLEASE FURNISH "NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE"(IN ORIGINAL) FROM YOUR DEPARTMENT AS PER "ANNEXURE-E" OF THE INSTRUCTIONS ATTACHED TO THE APPLICATION FORM. THE NOC MUST BEAR THE REFERENCE NO. AND DA.

This message is being shown on their website since last 11 months.

i apply for my passport on 20/1/2010 and clearing all stages of documentation, as police documentation is also complete. And have a net status as despatch the passport on 05/04/2010 but not recieve.. after some time, the net status is changed on 19/05/2010 is that" your passport is not despatch by any circumtances but it's delivered within a week but till the date 04/07/2010 i didn't get my passport. I also confirm from my Head Post Office for passport recieve but they also not get from the passport office,jaipur..
Then the passport office, jaipur is not send my passport to post office.
Even in presently the webpage of jaipur branch is not open on the site of passportstatus.nic.in.

On 31st of march I have applied for police clearance to jaipur passport office.
Today is 7th of may and I have not received any information regarding my passport.

File no is JPRH01276510
I submitted it to jaipur passport office on 31st of march.
Verification will be done on G39,Hill view garden,Bhiwadi

I have to go to quatar and they are delaying the process.
I have asked them regarding this and they told it has went for police verfication.
I asked when it will come --they told it may take 6 month or may be 12 month and
they are not responsible for that.

May I know who is responsible for that. I have paid 300 rupees also.
Please help me as it is very important for me and it is a question of my carrier.
