[Resolved] Poorvika Mobiles — sold defective phone | |||||
I purchased a samsung cell phone from poorvika mobiles outlet in gopalan signature mall on 24th december at around 7pm. When i tried to charge the phone and switch it on after couple of hours the cell phone was not switching on and i called the poorvika outlet around 8:30pm, they asked me to come next day. When i reached the outlet on 25th december the sales executive who sold me the phone was not at the store, one other person attended to the issue, he checked the phone and charged it for some time, but it didn't work so he told me that nothing can be done now as the phone is already billed for and asked me to go to samsung service center next day (26th december) to get the phone checked. I reached the samsung service center on 26th and they showed me a small crack at the bottom of the screen that is hardly visible to naked eye, and told me that the screen has to be replaced, which will cost 40% of the cost price of the phone. This will be considered as physical damage and will not come under the warranty. I went back to poorvika outlet on 26th december as they have sold me a defective product and they are refusing to refund or exchange the phone and told that i should have come back to the store on 24th itself. They are not taking the ownership of the defected product which they have sold and asked me to talk to the sales representative who sold me the phone. Now they are trying to avoid by giving reasons. Why should i talk to the sales representative who sold me the phone, i bought the phone from the poorvika outlet and not ftom that individual. It is the responsibility of poorvika outlet to address my issue and they should take the ownership. They have made me go to samsung service center and nothing is fixed. This is absolutely ridiculous customer service, i have paid money to poorvika mobiles and i want the issue to be fixed by them. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Showroom sales person said its not been changed and they wrongly give information .after few minutes they told me to exchange the mobile when purchase amount was Rs 900 its basic mobile it will be taken exchange price Rs 500 only.
Its newly purchase mobile from your showroom just 30mins before but your asking my mobile for exchange price just 500 rupees. Want kind of cheating and told me exchange or kindly leave the place wasting our time,
Atleast manager should come and explain the situation try to find solution.they finally changed my mobile karbonn for me and loss of rupees 400 this kind of service never any one.
