I have a home loan with PNB HFL and i requested for BT to other bank for better roi. Now, Initially they told me it will take 21 working days to get letter, its been more than a 1.5 month they have not provided me any letter. Even i have contacted many times customer care support every time they are saying its in process wait for few days, every time i called i am getting same response even they are not sharing any detail that its pending with whom, I visited bank as well no response from them, Then i complaint nodal officer (Via email ) no response from them i sent 5 followup email no response from them as well. I am really frusteted with this kind of behavior from Govt Authorized bank. I am feeling helpless as no one is giving information and looks like they are delaying without any reason.

PNB HFL guys says i have to pay 3% pre-closing charges and minimum time they take to provide foreclosure latter is 15 working days.
They literally create lot of problems and delay the issues. In any other bank you go there is no pre-closure charges and foreclosure letter will be given within a day.

@PNB HFL: Please grow and satisfy the customers to retain them. If i have to go for loan again you are making me not even think about PNB HFL.

I am Bhargav from Jamshedpur.
Yesterday, I went to PNB Housing office in Jamshedpur with my uncle Mr. Manjit Singh (+[protected] who is a senior citizen and has a loan account ( HOU/TATA/1118/609176) there. He is selling his house and wanted to get the foreclosure statement so that the other bank wherein the buyer's loan is sanctioned can give the cheque in favor of PNB Housing. He wished to do this at the earliest as at this age, he doesnt want to keep the burden OF Emis. He has come all over from Punjab and has been staying in a Hotel for over a week now not knowing the time it will take to get the letter and sell the house.
However, it seems the officers have no intention of helping out the customers
Rather, it looks like the delays are purposeful to mint in more EMIs unethically. I saw several customers there who have been harassed similarly but yet to receive the letters even after two months.
Very disheartened to see the pathetic response. One should show same level of commitment be it while opening the loan account or closing the account.
Hopefully, the top management gives some focus on this issue.

I placed my foreclosure letter with SR[protected] on 6th June-23 and today on 26th June-23 i have no update on the request placed my me.

They are saying it will take complete 21 working days which is clear harassments till 3rd of July. Due to their higher ROI and pathetic service, i don't want to continue with PNBFHL.

Today is 17 day and my request is still waiting for approval. I have this week only to fulfill...

Its been 43 days now. I hope it has 21 working days to do the needful.

I took home loan from PNBHFL. They have increased rate of interest to 11.50% and now to reduce it they want me to pay cash charges for FCL and they are also saying I have to pay charges for past request raised which was not processed....

Dear Sir,

I am running a home loan from PNB housing finance ltd a/c no Hou/chd/1121/928667.
i have applied for foreclosure on 16/03/23 and have depsoited their foreclosure request charges of 885/- on the same day but since than i am following and visiting their branch for foreclosure letter but they have not provided me the foreclosure till now.

i have visited thier branch more than 20 times leaving my work but they are no bothered and more over saying they can't provide it as mandate from their MD not to provide any Forclosure documents to any customer.

they are harassing me and it is causing mental harassment and monetary loss to me.

I am running home loan from PNB housing with LOAN ACCOUNT NO. HOU/CHD/1121/931006.
Want to close my loan have given multiple requests for foreclosure letter and its been 2month I have been visiting their branch but they are not bothered about my request.
They have asked charges of 885/- for applying the foreclosure letter.
i have deposited the same on 26/04/23 but i have not received my foreclosure letter till now.

They are harassing the customers and not even bothered about that.

Request you to kindly direct them to issue foreclosure letter to me for my Home loan LOAN ACCOUNT NO. HOU/CHD/1121/931006

Applied for Loan closure a month ago. I was informed that maximum 21 working days will be taken to generate loan closure report. Now almost a month but have not heard anything from bank.

This is weird way to charge additional interest from customers even though customer is ready to close the loan.

This is with reference to my existing Home loan with PNBHFL with account no. HOU/0321/868356.

On 21 march 23 I have raised request for pre closure letter and List of documents through Chandigarh with service request 21309400.
I was informed that it take 21 working days. Now it is 27 april 2023 but I have not received my requested documents.
I am making consistent follow up with customer care but looks like they are purposely making delay.
They are saying waiting for approval, update me shortly, till now no time lines share with me.

Why so much time is required to provide two documents. It is totally harassment from PNBHFL. I also marked the copy of communication to Nodal officer but nothing happened so far.

I wrote mail to Nodal officer today also and marked copy of mail to "[protected]@pnbhousing.com".

I request your help in this regard to get my documents as early as possible.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of taking out a housing loan with PNB Housing. While it was quite easy to enter into this arrangement, the process of foreclosure turned into a complete disaster due to the bank's uncooperative and unresponsive nature.

Throughout the foreclosure process, PNB Housing was completely uncooperative and provided no assistance. Despite our persistent efforts to follow up on our foreclosure request, we were met with silence and indifference. It became increasingly apparent that PNB Housing follows its own set of rules, disregarding the well-being of its clients and exhibiting a lack of professionalism in the service industry.

Our branch manager was of no help either, ignoring our calls and showing no signs of concern for our predicament. This lack of responsiveness has not only tarnished the bank's reputation in our eyes but has also led us to question their commitment to customer service.

It is truly disheartening to see a housing finance bank like PNB Housing, which is supposed to be a reliable financial partner, turn its back on its clients when they need assistance the most. The foreclosure process was a nightmare, and I would not wish such an experience upon anyone.

I strongly advise against choosing PNB Housing for any financial needs, as their lack of support and unresponsiveness during crucial times can lead to immense stress and financial hardship. My experience with them has been nothing short of disastrous, and I hope others can learn from my ordeal and avoid making the same mistake.

This is with reference to my existing Home loan with PNBHFL with account number HOU/GHA/0522/991955 at their Ghaziabad Branch.

I have applied for Pre-closure letter on 02.03.2023.

Still I am waiting for the Pre-closure letter even after so many reminders in trailing mails. There is no response from the team except auto generated mails on my reminders.

I have also escalated this issue at their all levels but no response till now even the given timeline already crossed.

It is requested to please look into this matter & arrange to provide me Pre-closure letter as soon as possible.

Hi, myself priyanka, we have applied for home loan at PNB kukatpally branch hyderabad, telangana during dec 2022 . during the registration we have found to know the property is uner prohibited list, could not complete the registration. we have immediately closed the loan during jan 23, 2023. still it is showing in all data bases we have our home loan active at pnb, we are continously contacting branch manager, they simple say you send an email you will get reply from customer service.

really bad experience with pnb, such a irresponsible service from you team. how long will it take to update your data base that our loan is closed.. how long you will charge us .
