This is to bring to your notice how cinemas, hospitals and several other private establishments across Chennai city have been levying hefty parking charges despite several supreme/state court directions in the past prohibiting the same. On 05/12/21 I was charged Rs.150 towards the parking of my four-wheeler at PVR Cinemas, Velachery(Chennai). This was in spite of me raising the issue and expressing my reluctance to the staff assigned for the fee collection. I would like this complaint to send across a strict notice to all branches and facilities of PVR run in the country and all the other multiplexes and malls who charge for parking illegally.
