This is Amol Musale. I have bought 3 year two user quick heal internet sequirity software from San Computek, Shivaji Garden, Nashik.
Recently, I have been asked to update the software version by submitting my product key at Quick heal website. Now, it is showing some message like unable to update due to multi use of this product. But, I never installed the same copy on another computer apart from my laptop.
Could you please help me to get out of this situation.

This complain is about Quick Heal anti-virus software.

I started using Quick Heal anti-virus of 3 years subscription period from 15/7/2009 valid upto 14/7/2012. Unfortunately, I could use it upto 27/12/2010 only. My laptop got virus-infected. I did all I could to send (through mail) report to them, as guided by the software but it just won’t go as it was bigger in size. I contacted Quick Heal and their representatives at Kolkata but they said that they can do nothing except that guide me through e-mails about virus-removing procedures. While I received mail from them, it was so technical that a normal user like me is helpless. The virus has manoeuvred my laptop so much that I am not even able to connect to internet on this machine. Now I am using my second laptop and managing work somehow because I don’t have an anti-virus there. I made so many frantic calls to these people and also mailed to them detailing everything many times but they are just not interested. They say that they don’t entertain machines to be brought to their office for anti-virus repairs. They say that the customer has to do it himself.

So, whoever goes through my this mail, please do an advanced IIT course in computer before buying Quick Heal anti-virus. Because: first, it doesn’t protect you from all viruses; secondly, when infected, you yourself will be required to repair it, no support from Quick Heal people. Just because, you have already made the payment to them...

I have purchased Guardin Antivirus (Product of Quick Heal) for 1 year, when i was using Windows Vista Operating system in my notebook. Just after 3 months i have free upgraded Windows Vista into Windows7 OS. My purchased Guardian Antivirus is not compatible with Windows7. I have requested to customer support of the company. But they told me to purchase it again for windows7 compatible. They don't care my previous subscription purchased by me.
