I paid a huge sum of Rs.2.14 lakhs for myself & my husband to travel to Egypt by Raj travels. They had promised to provide us with Indian veg.meal at every point where meals were to be given by them but they failed to do so as their agent in Egypt ( Egypt Plus tours & travels) were instructed by these people to give us some sub-standard food which was terrible. They promised to give us 4 or 5 * hotel accomodation which was given in some remote God foresaken village of Egypt which was miles away from human civilisation & no meals were provided there except b'fast. Their itinerary did not include city-tour & hence we had to only see the important monuments locally & be content. The local travel guide ( supposed to be English speaking) was a stammerer with total incomprehensible broken English,managed to fleece us by compelling us to pay hefty tips to all the locals which was not the system at all. On the whole, we cut short our trip by 4 days & returned home. My sincere advice to anyone & everyone...." Never travel thro. Raj Travels & Tours as they are money making cheats."

    On September 20, 2009, I had tried booking an air ticket through Raj Travels website. Unfortunately, the booking did not go through and the transaction failed.

    I had used by my ICICI Bank account online banking to make this trasanction (which eventually failed). To my surprise, we find that the bank account has been debited with an amount of Rs.56,329/.

    I have been in touch with their Ms. Sejal from Raj Travels, Mumbai office and everytime I get her on the line, I get a standard response that she will revert. It has been 2 weeks since I made the complaint and till date, there is no response from their end.

    I need the refund to be made immediately to my bank account since this transaction never took place.

      Recently I had been to the Far East tour of Raj Travels. I am very Sorry to say but the Tour was Pathetic. We were told that we would be given a seperate tour as we were a group of 21 but suddenly what we see is that in Bangkok another 9 persons were added to our group without our knowledge. We were promised that all the trip would be in Thai Airways and even the Malaysia to Singapore would be by Air and there would be a direct flight from Singapore to Mumbai.But what we got was totally different. All flights were Air India. Travel from Malaysia to Singapore was by Bus & in return we came to Mumbai via Chennai with a halt of 5 hrs without any food provision by Raj. The list of Hotels was handed over to us on the previous day od leaving and that was changed when we actually landed there in Bangkok. The tour Leader travelled for the first time and we were told that she was the best in the industry. No co-ordination between the Tour leader and Raj office and the Customers were in a bad condition and were asked to contact Raj oofice from Bangkok & Malaysia to Sort out the Problems as the Tour Leader Ms Shehnaz Zaveri told that she was not knowing what Mr Vikas Bhatt (The sales guy) had committed. So all was in a soup. Instead of enjoying thr Trip We all were busy sorting our problems. The tour leader would never bother to see whether anybody is left or not . She was the first to board the bus & Flight and also the first for immigration. FREINDS IF ANYBODY IS PLANNING FOR ANY TOUR WITH RAJ PLEASE DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THEM. THEY ARE USELESS. I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO TRAVEL WITH RAJ IN MY ENTIRE LIFE AND THAT FELLOW VIKAS BHATT WHO SITS IN KANDIVLI OFFICE. ONCE YOU PAY YOUR MONEY HE WILL NEVER RESPOND TO YOUR CALLS. I MYSELF RECEIVED HIS RESPONCE AFTER I GAVE HIM 56 MISS CALLS. NOW YOU CAN IMAGINE THAT IN THIS SERVICE ORIENTED WORLD WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL WITH RAJ WHO GIVES SUCH A TYPE OF SERVICE. I HOPE MY ARTICLE WOULD BE HELPFUL TO MANY PERSONS.

        I had planned a Vacation to Ranthambore, Rajasthan from 27th Feb 2010 to 2nd March 2010 through raj Travels inclusive of airfare and stay.

        We were placed in Jet airways flight first at 6.30 am in the morning as agreed later it was shifted to Kingfisher flight which leaves at 11.30 in thye morning but to my surprise just 12 hours before the filght we were shifted to Indigo flight which is obviously much cheaper in comparison to what was promised to me. Idenied going ahead with the tour but I was promised a refund of 13,000 on SMS for degrading my flight and for change in timings and waste of hours.

        Now after the tour it has been almost 50 days and the guys from Raj travels has been only giving false promises to pay me up and now they dont even pick up my call and I have to call from all different numbers.

        Have even escalated the matter to the CFO raj travels but also seems to have taken no ownership of thye problem.

          We had made booking for 6 pax from Hyderabad to Dubai for 19th Feb 2010 through RAJ TRAVELS, Hyderabad. I was promised by the travel agent Mr. Shakir that we will be receiving our VISA and other documents by 17th Feb 2010. But till today, i.e., 18th Feb 2010 20:00 HRS we have not received any visa. We have been waiting in their office since morning, and they are just saying it'll be done in 1/2 hour every time, but have not suceeded in getting it done.

          We have made 100% advance payment 10 days prior for all the services and they have not kept up their word. They have given us some Mumbai office number (Shreenathji Travels, Mr. Mukesh) and they are not taking the call.

          They have spoiled our entire day and still they do not have any information of the status about the Visa.

          Kindly look into the matter very urgently and do the needful.

            I had booked a ticket to travel to Bangalore from Pune on 26/06/2009 . After that I booked the return ticket by flight . On the eve of my travelling date , a guy called me up and informed me that the bus which I was planning to travel has been cancelled and that the amount will be refunded to my account . Since it was informed in the last moment , I had to find another travel agent to book a ticket . And even after weeks , the amount was never refunded . I demand the amount to be returned to my account ASAP . Not that i want to travel through your pathetic agency again , I am not planing to lose that ticket amount just like that .It has been around 3 months now , and I tried calling you guys, also send e-mails with details .               I have booked 3tickets of volvo through your prestigious company online for 27 june 2009 from bombay to shirdi and for 29 june from shirdi to bombay.When i reached bombay with my wife and 4yr old kid, we were shocked to know that there is no such bus service from past few months.This is an act of complete mismanagement and irresponsibility on the part of such a well established travel agency.kindly refund the money which was paid through credit card as soon as possible.PNR NO.-00IW57

                I Vijay Sanghvi had booked for Grand European Discovery Tour with M/s Raj Travels, opera House, Girgaon Chowpatty, Mumbai for 15 days & 16 Nights with my wife Sapna Sanghvi and another couple name Mahendra Chandan & Dipali Chandan. We were informed that the tour date will be 11th June at the time of booking. we have already informed that all the Meals should be booked for Jain Meal throughout the Whole Tour and in the flight. We have told to your sales department that booked our Air Ticket with Jain Meal for both the couples Round Trip. We were also told by your sales person that 80 % of Chef will be there for the Whole Tour. Thereafter Suddenly on 1st of June i recvd a call from your sale department By Mr Bharatbhai that the tour will be depart from 4th June.From Our Side we Prepared for Going on 4 th June. We had Boarding for the flight on 4th June but there was no arrangement for Jain Food in the flight and after checking with there pasenger List there were no Jain Meal were booked for our 4 of them. Approx 15 Hour we were Hungry and Inspite of reminding him Mr Bharatbhai your sales person so many time and same mistake was made again while returning from london flight to mumbai. I was informed by the Airhostess in the flight that every time there is a same problem with RajTravels for Meal and because of there Mistake passenger is facing the problem.. I feel ashamed of you that Such a irresponsible person are there in your Raj Travels. We were hoping a better response from your Raj Group but it was bad experience by going with Raj Tour . Throughout the Whole Tour there were chef only four 5 to 6 daysand that also for dinner and Morning Breakfast. Hotel Booking was also Bad everytime there has been problem in the Room. The Whole Group of 36 peoples were facing the same problem for food, Rooms etc. We were given a packaged Food almost 4 to 5 times in a lunch, which was so bad that all the food we have thrown in the dustbin. it was not eatble. It was packed in the early morning and same has been served after 5 to 6 Hours.There were no Salad, No Dessert, No Soup, No Juice in the Lunch and Dinner.There was no arrangement for Lunch at many places we were having our Lunch at the petrol pump, Near Foothpath, Near Garden.

                I Feel ashamed of you and for your Irresponsibility services. Insipte of calling at your office so many times from Europe to your Mumbai Office but there were no action has been taken to solve the problem.

                It was very bad experience going through Raj Travel. i Will inform my all the freinds and Whole Metal Market & the Diamond Market that such a bad facilities was provided to us throughout the whole Trip.

                Such a big Travel Ageny is doing rubbish & Neglience things with there client. You Please close down your Travel Agency if you cant provide good facilities and better Meal to your client.


                We were provided with Inferior quality package tour facilities. The services of Raj Travels was not customer focused, it was only Money oriented. They are unable to maintain there exclusivity. The objective was to Earn Money from there client and not to make family holidays tours comfortable, exciting and not Service Orieted. This type of Services shows the bad scenario of your Company and the same is been Existing in the Indian Market.

                We have send many email about this poor services, but they have not replied to us . Please take some necessary action.

                  I am making this complaint against Raj Travels for issuing me an online ticket for a bus service from Mumbai to Surat, which was not operating for past 3 months. What surprised me the most that i have booked my ticket through their official online site www.raj.travel My credit card was debited to the respective cost of the ticket. At the date of travelling i was waiting for the bus to come and when i called up their office they said that this bus service is not operational for past 3 months. What disappointed me most is the rude behavior of their senior employee Mr. Tejas who told me to do whatever i want to when i said that i would file a case against you in consumer forum. They have promise to refund the amount but i am not very much bothered of the amount, because of such mistake on the company side, my entire planning for the day went for a toss. I reached surat with lot of difficulty. At the top of it the rude behavior of the employee, who instead of apologizing and helping me in making alternate arrangement spoke very rudely.
                  I would really like to file a suit against them in the consumer forum.

                  This is quite true we have had a similar experiences with raj Travels terribly rude behavior especially when it comes to asking for refund!

                  Sukhvinder Singh here, I have salaried account & credit card of your exteemed bank. someone used my credit card on 19th Aug (Ticket and Itinerary as of Tue-19Aug2008 15:55) for booking Air tickets. one from AIR Deecan (worth Rs. 5475) & one from EzeeGo1Travel (worth rs. 5406). you are requested to block mine card first & also send me the details who use my card (means from which webssite or emailID he/she booked ticket).
                  whatever details you have.
                  i have details from Air Deccan regarding this. they gave me the details of that particular person name, address & mobile no.
                  But, EzeeGo1travel didn't sent me details. So, you are requested to send them Acknowledgement mail for Enquiry. i am going for Policy Enquiry also.

                  the amount was deducted from my account but ticket was not booked
                  they said my amount will be credited to my account in 2days but still i did not recieve

                  I ve booked an online ticket to travel from Banglore to Mumbai (Raj National Express) through your website (www.redbus.in)on[protected].

                  Date of Journey :[protected]
                  DepartureTime : 4.30pm
                  Total fare : 1259.40

                  Due to certain reasons my trip got postponed, I wanted to cancel the travel booking which i ve done.

                  To my surprise when i wanted to cancel the ticket today the system gave me a shock of 19% (Rs.1019.40)cut as cancellation charge when i proceeded to cancel the ticket. (attachmet enclosed)

                  While I booked the ticket in the Important points on my e-ticket it has been stated in point no 5. under the cancellation policy the cancellation charges has been mentioned as (attachment enclosed)

                  10% - Between 24 - 72 hours of journey.
                  5% - Between 3 days - 1 Week before journey and there is no clause stating that the cancellation charges can be changed as the operator whenever he wishes.

                  When i called up your helpdesk @ Bangalore[protected].35pm) I received a reply from Mr. Vijay (Support staff) stating that 2 days before they have increased the cancellation charges, I ve been given your phone number to resolve the grivience.

                  I ve been informed from Mr. Maruti that you left for the day early, and he asked me to write a mail to you.

                  I kindly request you to look into this and I need to cancel the ticket and the cancellation charges should be applicable as mentioned in the ticket.

                  1. the bus was not on time it was 2:00 hr late at the boarding place

                  2. at the border or gujarat and maharastra they told us that you need to change the bus there was not technical fault in bus though. the reason which i can understand is permit of the bus.

                  3. the bus was volvo but there was lots of voice and vibration in the bus and specially after the third row of the sit so i can say it was like third class service and first class charges.

                  4. the fair was 1049 Rs. which is highest compare to all other travels services.

                  5. i reach at ahmedabad very late almost 4 hr and at that place they told me that you have to wait for next bus because we don't have enough passenger for rajkot. after that i requested to the manager at ahmedabad and i also told him that i will do complain he told me we are not worried about complain. at last the we did travelling in the same bus after 30 min of discussion with ahmedabad office staff.

                  6. at last i reach at rajkot 4:30 hr late with very bad experience with raj travel world.

                  i think upper management are not worried with they bad services.

                  I had booked raj travels delhi manali bus (departure at 17.30 hrs) and undergone harrowing experience. At delhi boarding point bharat petroleum petrol pump, janpath street, Raj Travels does not have any proper place with the basic facilities for drinking water, urinals and keeping the luggage. I along with my family had to stand on the footpath with our luggage for more than an hour on 17 Jan 2009. Ultimately the bus was canceled. Although we were told on the telephone that we would be accommodated in other bus but there was no whereabouts of raj travels representative. I did not want to rely on any other bus operator so I asked Raj travels to refund my money and I hired a taxi. After reaching back I have taken up the matter for refund and I am sure that I will have to approach consumer court, which I am willing to do!

                  Raj Travels Bus — inconvenience while travelling

                  The journey from Baroda to Mumbai on August 1-09 was very inconvenient in all the ways..
                  firstly- the bus started from Baroda 1 hour 10 mins late from the given time i.e 11:30 (actual deprt. time) so we started at 12:40.
                  secondly - no blankets or water given in a Volvo A/C bus,
                  thirdly - the bus driver did not know how to drive the bus at all and drove very roughly on rugged roads,
                  The bus was driven in such a horrible way that is broke down 18km before Vapi by 04:30 am, the major cause of the break down was reckless driving on bumpy roads and a very heavy leakage of "oil" from the engine, later the driver leaves the bus to look for local service station but there was no sign of him till 06:30, so most o[censored]s managed to take a lift upto Mumbai,
                  This is a very shamless act by such a reputed bus company who promises good service,
                  I demand for an apology from the travel agency and also demand for a full refund of money, on being informed i shall go to the near by Raj travels office to collect my and my 2 other friends money.
                  On[protected], I started my journey from Baroda to Mumbai in RAJ national express Bus No.: GJ 4Z 700 from 8:30 P.M. I paid Rs 750/- INR for travelling in AC sleper bus with LCD. My number assigned was SL - 26 (Side lower sleper). Instead of that seat at the mean time, the opeartor staff changed my seat to 31, that was the last seat without AC and LCD. When I asked the bus operation staff as well as the agent, Both told me that if you want to seat, you can seat here otherwise you can move from the bus. When I asked for the money back, simply bus staff repliyed me no money will be given to you. If intersted come otherwise getlost. On that horible situation I moved to Mumbai.

                  This is a very shamless act by such a reputed bus company who promises good service, I demand for an apology from the travel agency and also demand for a refund of money,
                  true raj service is worst the goverment offices, Staff is mannerless and irresponsible and raj gives his staff special training to LIE to customers, specially Mr Vikas Kandivali branch, pls never ever think of going from Raj

                    On a Bus journey with Raj travels from Pune to Ahmedabad, me and my husband and another passenger(no friend or relation to us, but coincidentally he too was going for a wedding and had expensive clothes and camera in the bag) found out on alighting the bus in Ahmedabad that our bags were missing from the Luggage compartment. We took the bus to the Raj Ahmedabad office with the driver and helper and there it was found that 2 bags were unclaimed by any passengers. They were not our bags and are still lying unclaimed in Raj, ahmedabad office. The driver and his helper(Mr Mahender Chauhan) said that before us, some passengers last got down at Surat in the night around 4 a.m where the bags could have been exchanged. We stayed in the Raj office and made them call the list of passengers but the people who could be contacted all seemed to reply that they had their own luggage. We have been trying to trace and check about any further information but the Raj offices seem to take the matter of no importance at all. With great difficulty we had to persuade them to even call the passengers and we ourselves called many passengers. We have had no co-operation from any Raj office members to trace our luggage which has been misplaced due to the bus staff of Raj who did not follow the process of stickering each bag and checking the passenger and their seat nos before giving them the luggage.


                    Talking about our bag, we were going for a wedding and it had expensive wedding clothes and gifts which were of great monetary value. I am sure the same would be the case with our co-passenger. But Raj offices have shown no support to do anything about the matter and have only reacted saying that no one has called in. We have been asking them for the names of the passengers who got down at Surat but there has been no help there too.

                    Till now we haven’t seen any responsibility being taken by Raj except calling other passengers on our request nor is there any central place we can call and complain or keep track of any information about our bags. On the website too, there is no central office no available to put in a complaint/enquiry. We came to know of your number only today, 5 days after the incident, that too after constantly calling Raj Ahmedabad.

                    Being such a reputed Travel company, we didn’t expect such a response from Raj and think this is a very poor customer experience due to which we would never like to travel with Raj again and so would we let other people know of our bad experience. For a mere ticket of Rs 800 and trust in Raj’s reputation, we have suffered a big loss in terms of waste of time and money over this incident and a lot of inconvenience as we were attending a wedding but left with no clothes and had to buy everything from scratch.

                      I book my ticket 15 days before from Baroda to Shirdi on 27th Feb 2009

                      2 days before Raj travel cancel his Bus because of less number of seats books for shirdi

                      They give us wrong statement that bus is brake down so its cancel.

                      They told me on 25th Feb 2009 that they will refund money back in 2 days time.

                      Because i booked my ticekt from Singapore i said ok because i am only available for 2 days only after that i have return flight to Singapore.

                      Today is 10 March which is more then 16 Days and daily i am calling from Singapore to give my money back but they are telling that they dont have sufficient fund to give me.

                      This is really cheating case to take customer money and not giving back to customer

                      When i call Mumbai office Mr Tajesh Popat, He told me on 9th March that with in 10 min he will call me but still he didnt call me.

                      I am highly frastrated and dis satisfied with Raj Travel booking system

                      I want to take this issue and put in consumer court so i will get my refund back

                      I book my ticket 3 weeks back Ahmadabad to Bangalore 28th Dec 2009 on Indgo flight service.

                      I have booked ticket on net banking. I haven't got any confirmation of the booking. I called them for confirming booking status. As per them booking is not done and money was dedected from my account. They said that they will return my money by two days time.

                      i called them more then 10 times but till now i haven't get my money back.

                      This is really cheating case to take customer money and not giving back to customer

                      When i call Mumbai office Mr sandeep poojari. Every time i called them, they said that till will take 2 days.

                      I want to take this issue and put in consumer court so i will get my refund back

                        Hi dear friends
                        My name is Fiaz and I as working as BDM.As Per my I have to travel alot. I was traveling in Raj travels few times. After the first experience in raj, never ever want to travel with them. By mistake I had to travel 2 more time. All these three time I was unsatisfiy and I was getting problems with them. They just try to cheat people.Is in their mind that the travelers are stupid?So friends If you wanna plasent trip as they offers you before making the bill, it never ever going to be happen. They are the big cheater in this travel sector. Friend we should act for this. If we are weak in this, ofcoz they have the power to do the same again and again.The people who has complaint be together.I recomend other friends not to travel with RAJ TRAVELS.
                        If you not listening, you ll be the next fish for them.

                          I am Nilesh Patil Working in pune, I have been cheated by Raj Travels. On 20 Jan i booked return ticket from pune to Kolhapur For 22 jan 2009 and return journey on 26 Dec 2009 on their web site ‘www.rajnationalexpress.in’.
                          On 22nd JAN 2009 as per scheduled departure time I went to Raj travels office. But no one was their I waited there for 1 hour for the bus but bus didn’t come. So I tried to call raj travels customer care But no one answered. Some how I got one number of their employee, When I asked him regarding this matter he told me that there is no service available of raj travel from Pune To kolhapur . I told him that I have booked a ticket from internet and you have shown the Bus No NE- G20A Pune to kolhapur And NE- G20B Kolhapur to pune bus service is available on internet www.rajnationalexpress.in. But refused this fact.
                          So couldn’t travel on that day and I faced lot of difficulties due to their mistake. After returning I checked the site once again and still they have not made any changes in their site. So I request you to inform all the people about this type of cheating made by raj travels.

                            the amount was deducted from my account but ticket was not booked
                            they said my amount will be credited to my account in 2days but still i did not recieve
