I was contacted from Shine team yo avail the job assistance services and asked me to pay 3293 rs to avail the premium services.And they said its a one time payment and we wont ask any more fee from you. And they assigned me the relationship manager where i had a call with him 2 days later and he was explaining me about due to your resume presentation you are not getting the job and he was asking me to avail the services one by one after each payment.

Education Verification Plus Package - 5192rs
Job Profile verification - 8376rs

The thing is he was never transparent about any of these services until i made the payment for one. And he as asking to pay 15k more resume creation and i felt fishy and didnt make the payment. He was so rude that i didnt make the 15k payment. I paid the amount in the first place because it was shine and it has its reputation. But they are scamming my money on false pretenses. How can i get the refund amount. Can anyone help me out.

I was trying for change in job. Updated my resume in Shine portal. Before updating I had surgery & discharged from hospital.

Shine staff called me & enquired about me.
They said that there is a combo pack available.

I made Rs.3197.00 which I thought I can afford.
Then two more person called me Amit & Anup requested me to share my resume. Post sharing they did R&D & informed the below services names.

Profile creation
Profile Highlighting
Linden Profile creation
Profile sharing
4 certifications

I thought these services will be given for Rs.3197.

Post R&D they did not told upfront payment information for above services. Instead they keep on sending 6 proforma invoices.

I made payment by scared & torture when I was in medication.

I have confirmed to activate services because I paid huge payments but immediately I realized my financial status & said that DO NOT ACTIVATE ANY SERVICES. Also till date I have not received any of the services & do not want any service.

I have also shared my hospital discharge summary reports. Staff not accepting their incorrect guidance.

They did not told me upfront payment information. They did not gave me sufficient time to decide & make payment.

Please help me to get my refund amount of Rs.1, 18, 593.70

My name is Divya Bhavani R, a resident in Old washermenpet, Chennai, TN. I have registered on shine.com for job opportunities sometime back. I received a call from shine representative on "24-DEC-2021” around 10am. The spokesperson was Nithin HR from shine, wherein he explained me about Paid services of shine.com with Nominal price of Rs.3292/-, initially i showed no interest but then he started flattering about the services offered by them, wherein he said they will assign a dedicated representative from shine for me and that person will closely work with me to help me to get new Job in two weeks’ time with this nominal fees only and i don't have to make any further payment. So, i paid this Rs.3292/-
Then around 11:00 am on the same day, I’ve received another call from shine representative Rohit, who claimed to be the person responsible for my profile. He said i need to have verified documents for all what I’ve claimed in my resume( like my education, skill set). I have been asked to do the payment in a link that they shared in email. They didn’t give enough time to think through as they say that the payment link would expire, and the process completion has to be done once initiated. I paid five consecutive payments in the name of verification, assistance, skills and certification. They claimed every payment to be the final payment, after which I would receive login credentials for further proceedings. Even after making five payments they asked again Rs.35000/- for a certified course. All these payments are happened in the span of 1 hr. When they asked the final payment Rs.35000/- for me to land a job, I refused and didn’t pay that money. I then realized that I’ve been scammed. Took sometime to surf through internet to find whether it is authentic or fake. I found numerous scam reports and similar cases like me who lost their money to these people. While I made the payment I was not informed about the no refund. I asked for full refund to which they denied and said there is not refund system in shine. I Have lost around in total Rs.75000 which is my hard earned money. Kindly help me to get my full amount refund from Shine.com.
I have made two debit card transactions and five credit card transaction in EMI payments. Below are the packages I have paid my money for to shine.

I applied for hdfc requirement in shine web site. I had a call from shine website. They said you are shortlisted for hdfc so you want to pay 2500 and it will be refundable. I paid it. But i don not have any interview call from it. So i want my money refund

I got a call from shine learning on 23rd Dec 2021 and I paid Rs 3292. I was promised I don't have to pay any more.

Again I got a call on 24th Dec 2021 asking for more money Rs 4700/-, when I refused, the person MR Anand was very abusive .

Kindly take action against the person and refund my money. Such people and such actions and not called for and is setting a negative name for Shine and Hindustan Times .

Earlier this Month, I booked the AWS Solutions Architecture-Associatre program (Online Training and Certification Exam with Shine.com).
Online training completed successfully.
Now, I like to book / schedule my SAA-C02 certification exam.
I contacted Shine.com and asked them for the same.
Since last week, I am getting update from shine.com is that they will look into my query.
I am not sure, how much time Shine.com needed to book/schedule my SAA-C02 certification exam.

Yesterday (21st December) I got a call from shine job services. The person from shine team arranged a call for briefing about resume services.

Got another call in evening from shine job services mentioning guaranteed job if I avail their job services. They asked to first make payment of 3657 Rs for application booster package, which I paid online. After making payment, they indicated than few more services should be activated and asked to pay 6478 Rs for Job Profile Verification Plus Package and said this is the last payment to be done. I made the payment and then again asked me to pay Rs 9674 for Education Verification Plus Package 2 + Interviewing and Hiring Test, without which my job services cannot be activated. After making the payment, again they asked me to pay Rs 16054 for Career Assessment Test with Expert Counselling + Visual Resume, without which my job services will not be complete. I made the payment.

By the above way, the team deceived me in making payment of Rs 35863 for job services and then asked another 20766 for additional services, which I denied. When asked for refund, they mention no refund possible. This is really cheating customers in the name of job services.

Kindly assist in resolving this issue.

Initially they said 3600 in the amount for membership there won't be any other hidden charges. Also they forced me to pay in the same day. Exactly after making the payment they gave me call again I have to pay 11800 for educational plus verification plus video resume which I have no interest on. Please I don't want their services. I can arrange my job. Please give me my hard earned money

This is pathetic and disgrace ful site I have ever seen in my life that's for sure 100%. I have prepared Id in shine com is more than 10 year's but not a single GENUINE job call I have ever received it's a shame on this pathetic site. You people are fraud nothing else for me. During lock down your colleagues took money from me as they're promised me we will give you a job but these ### people's only need money. When I call these ### people they don't received my call. Bloody cheaters.

Had updated my profile info on shine.com yesterday and today morning..after that, shine representative called me for 10rs online registration via www.referenceonline.in..and I followed their instructions they asked personal information and I followed them.. they generated OTP and I inserted that's how I lost 40373.19rs in 4 different transactions.

My self Adip Bandyopadhyay, want to change my job. For this reason, I am searching job from different job portal. In this connection, Shine executive Mr. Mohit Singh (M#[protected]) contact me and according to his advise I paid Rs 4248/- against the Profoma Invoice Id: IN20211208_595749 (Jobs on the move-30 days) on 08 Dec. 2021 through net banking vid Transaction id: IN20211208_[protected]_[protected] and assure me that no more money required for next 30 days and one Shine personal will also assign for my job searching in this connection.
Mr Rohit appointed Mr. Shiva (M#[protected]) who will assist me for searching of jobs. During discussion, Mr. Shiva told me that for verification purpose I have to paid additional amount. After receiving these two amounts, job searching activity will be started. As I am searching a suitable job disparately and for the reputation of Shine job organization, I paid the amount Rs. 5192/- against the Profoma Invoice Id: IN20211209_596430 (Educational verification plus package) and Rs. 10736/- against the Profoma Invoice Id: IN20211210_596946 (Job profile verification plus package) on 10 Dec. 2021 vid Transaction id: IN20211209_[protected]_[protected] and IN20211210_[protected]_[protected] respectively through net banking. After transferring the amount (Rs. 5192/- & Rs. 10736/-), I call back Mr Shiva and provide him the transaction id (last four digit) he told me that another charges (for Professional summary writing, Executive level Resume writing, cover latter & presentation) required to be paid for job searching and the amount will be Rs. 18463/-. At that time I am unable to paid the amount and talk with Mr. Mohit Singh regarding initial discussion with him and after that different charges claim by the Shine personal. Mr. Mohit assure me that this is the last charges I have to be paid for getting suitable jobs. As I am disparately searching a good job and for the reputation of Shine Job, I paid the amount Rs. 18463/- against the Profoma Invoice Id: IN20211210_596957 on 13 Dec. 2021 through net banking vid Transaction id: IN20211210_[protected]_[protected].
After confirmation of payment over phone to Mr. Shiva, he immediately claim another charges of Rs. 24779/- for Jobs on the move: 180 days against the Profoma Invoice Id: IN20211213_598305. I am unable to paid this amount. Till now, Mr. Shiva as well as Mr. Mohit continuously follow up me to paid this amount.
Now I am convicted that I am paid the entire amount by fraud Shine job circle.
Pl investigate the matter and return back my money immediately.

4. Getting me interview calls @ 2-3 per week.

All this was promised after paying Rs 3300/_ (approx).

Before paying I had sent my Resume for their confirmation which they did.

However after paying they asked me to further pay Rs 9000/- for Resume writing and verification, which I refused.

I said you use the same Resume and provide me the promised services

However even after writing 4 - 5 mails, no one seems to be responding.

No calls are answered.

I would like to get a refund of the money paid.
