Thank God...
After repeated complaints and reminders... One service technician - Imran Chemanwala +91 [protected] visited today, checked the iron and took it with him stating that there was some parts to be replaced. He informed that the same would be rectified and returned in a day or two...

Today, 8th september at 18.35 I get a message that - "the iron is ready and send me the happy code"
Oh... still waiting
The happy code was sent at 18.50 hrs

I Personally recomment to all ---- NOT TO BUY SINGER PRODUCTS - There are better products with good service
