I have a pending refund yet to be credited on my sbi account. Amazon processed my refund with reference number. But sbi is at fault that they failed to credit amount in my account, 11 days over, yet there is no news of refund.. Its a pity that the customer care is unable to help me, i called the tollfree number and asked them, they are asking me to visit the branch, why should i waste all my time and money to visit the branch if its easily solvable through online or via phone. I paid the amount to AMAZON through debit card.
Due to some problem, I requested AMAZON for a refund and they issued the refund on 17 feb, 2021. They have also provided me with the RRN.
Normally it takes only 3-5 days for the refunded amount to be reflected my account but today is 11th day. Still, I've not received the refunded amount yet.
I contacted the SBI Customer Service via the toll-free number, provided them the refund reference number and requested them to file a DISPUTE as REFUND NOT PROCESSED but they told me to visit my home branch and told me they cannot resolve my issue. They told me there is no provision for checking the refund status. Which is very frustrating.How can be the employees could be such unprofessional.
Deeply regret choosing sbi.
