I had bought 2 products (Nicer Dicer / Magic choppers) from Telebrands in mumbai. These products come with a guarantee that if the product is not useful to the consumer, it can be returned back within 15 days and full refund will be given.
Since I had a commercial usage, to which the product did not fit, I returned both the products in brand new condition, which was acknowledged and I was given a refund receipt on 6th August. Also, I was promised that the money will be credited back to my bank account.
After this did not happen, I went back to them in person, around august-end and they requested to resubmit the bills. It was done. Still the money was not credited.
Around 15th September, I again contacted them, and the refund department said that cannot tell me the refund status based on the invoice number (some , that since it was bought from a retail outlet of Telebrands at R-Mall, for which they don't have the details). They asked me to fax the invoice again, which I did.
I still did not receive my payment, then I called again around mid-october, some other guy in refund department said that no such fax was received and that I should send it again !!
This time I sent a courier (around 20th October) and alongwith the invoice, I sent a warning letter that if my money is not returned in next 15 days, I will file a case in the consumer court.
So far, there is no refund and worst there is no communication from Telebrands.
It is such a harrassment tracking your own money !!!
So i request you to take it back and supply a new one.
