Toyota — Innova Crysta Tyres

I have already submitted my issue. My two tyres burst and wheels got bend. Toyota is not ready to replace the wheels. I am having wobbling problem above 100kms speed. Now I decided to go legal with consumer court. My advocate told me that if there are more people we can file together and it will be better. anybody wants to join me please inform.

One of crysta tyre, Bridgestone, developed air pocket on the outer side of the tyre

Very true even I am facing same problem, in just 25000 kms my 2 tyres has bursted, one more has developed air pocket. Even the wheels are not good one of my Rim has cracked. And Toyota dealers are not entertaining these complaints

I also have such problem with tyres.

Facing same problem one tyre(left rear) bursted at 2500kms and another tyre (left front) also got air pocket within two days
The technicians are not responding well, bridgestone potenza 215 55/r17

I have also same problem in just 8000 Km my 2 tyres has bursted and because of that my Allow Wheel got damaged and i have been asked to pay from dealer in order to change.the kind of response i am getting is very POOR and worst from your end... feel like did biggest mistake

I have also same problem in just 10000 Km my one rare tyres has bursted and with in three months three punchers. I have informed the dealer who is arguing that there is no warranty for tyres. I bought the crysta believing that Toyoto does not compromise on parts. repenting for the same.

I m having the same problem my left front and rear tyres got burst at 15000km 215/55 r17 bridgestone turanza car is just 6 months old. Bridgestone has rejected my problem by saying its not a company fault. i think these tires are not compatible with innova new 17 inch alloy. If everyone is facing problems.

Yes Innova Crysta Tyre has serious issues and it will never give you peace of mind

My vehicle no is Ka 18 z 699.
All my Crysta tyres have failed and Toyota is playing hide and seek games with my issue .I have asked for replacement with 16 inch tyres and wheels.
They are not taking any responsibility in solving the issue.
The new cars are coming with 16 inch tyres.
The company has realised there mistake but they are putting us the old customers life under risk.

I had brought my vehicle in last year in the month of June.Since then i had problem with three of the tyres either cracked or surface air bubble appeared.Our dealer never told us the problems with 17" tyres. Its unfortunate such a well trusted company which cares about safety and quality never concerned either to inform these problem nor called back these vehicles and replaced with appropriate sized tyres. Ironically they have opted for 16"tyres for new vehicle which are sold now leaving behind the old customers with such dangerous issues.I am sure this will reflect in the their further sales of vehicle because today customers are well connected through the social media.Hope company will look in these issues seriously.

Same problem with me. The tyres are of worst quality. The left side rear tyre bursted on NH 4 near Satara and even the Spare tyre was impossible to remove. It took the toyota service centers three technicians to replace that tyre.
Again front right side tyre burst two days ago. The earlier tyre was replaced as a good will gesture by them after lot of followup but we were complaning about the bad quality of tyres as all the tyres had problem of either getting puncture or loosing air frequently.
Toyota says tyres not covered by them but whether i had purchased tyres seperately ? Also 95 % of the materials used by toyota are sourced from their suppliers so will they keep on saying all this for each and every items ? The Car is worst and is very risky in our case. Even the bluetooth connection and fm reception is patchy and gets disconnected frequently.
The problem of tyres is after running for around 200 km continiously, even a small pot hole will burst them open risking everyone in the vehicle. The toyota while designing should have considered this. They have designed it such that it should be driven only on pot hole free road and that too not continiously.
Very much dis satisfied with the product.

Have faced the same problem of tyre burst...
Two of my tyres got burst in span of 2 days when my car ran only about 2000 Km.

That time Toyota replaced my tyres, but again after running about 21000 Km, same problem happened...

One of the tyre got burst while crossing a small pothole at the speed of about 30km'hr, another one got burst while crossing a speed breaker at the same speed within 2 days...

Now my car is standing still with only 3 working tyres.
The dealership has told us that Bridgestone will not be replacing those after they have done the inspection...

There is a problem of side burst in Innva Cresta but they are not entertaining...

I have the 2016 model Innova Crysta Z variant, within the span of 10, 000 kms, my car's 3 tires have burst till now, and toyota is not providing any solution at all, they are just saying that they could provide me 10% discount on purchase of new tires from dealer.
But, the problem will still persist as the problem lies with the design or due to low profile tyres being used in the Z variant, I really doubt the reliability of this car, as 2 tyres got burst at the same time as they got into a small pothole, how could they be so careless about the safety of their customers,

Somehow, If they come up with the solution to downsize the tyres, they should refund our money for those expensive Alloys we purchased in that Top Model, and then provide us with the high profile tyres, but i think they are a way too greedy to consider this, I might better sell this vehicle and would go another car, as this car cannot give me peace of mind like the earlier innova. Safety is the top most priority and should not be compromised for the faulty design of Toyota.
Will never buy any car of Toyota again for sure.

Toyota / Bridgestone combo taking customers for a ride. Same experience. 10000 km run tyre developed crack and Bridgestone said no warranty as it is due to external factor. Quite strange that the new tyre could not take the load of normal Indian road

I have Crysta 2.8 Z model. My car regi. No. is KA 09 MC 2975. When I was traveling back from Kerala to Mysore, near Nilambur my right side both the tyres burst. The showroom people said they will complain to the company. Not only I lost tyres those have run just 10000 kms, ther was stability problem over 105 kms speed.

You may please note that the issue is mainly because of the faulty design of the wheels and tyres are not able to withstand the impact due to the faulty design.
After some time they told that the company may replace 16" wheels to my 17 " wheels. I told them that I need replacement of 17" only once they reintroduce them. 16" wheels are less expensive and those tyres cost less than 50% of 17" Tyres. They said they will write to the company, but nothing happened. I send complaint letter two times but no response from the company.

I think we should unit and file a complaint with consumer court to get justice.

I love the Innova have done 330000 on the old generation and yet have it none of the rims have got a bent.. the new Crysta with 17” rim one tyre has got a bubble and 2 rims got bent at just 30000km and 2 more at 50000km both cars are driven on the same road ... read other blogs seems the tyre height on 17” is not fit for Indian roads that’s the reason I feel Toyota has even changed the tyre rim size to 16”

I am also facing same problem with my innova crysta 2.8 Z and whenever apply the brake, steering vibrating. Two time company changed the Brake assembly at free of cost. One time changed two tyres at free of cost. (Air swelling) My vehicle run only 16000 km.

I filed case on Toyota and local Dealer
