Toyota — Innova Crysta Tyres

I have a 2.8z variant AT. Had two flat tyres about 1, 000km apart. One on the trip2 (around 11, 300km) and the other one on Trip3 (around 12, 200km) which I finished about two days ago. For the first flat tyre, I was surprised that a small pothole caused the problem but ignored it feeling that it is a mishap. But the same thing happened second time again on the pothole, this time I was sure that there is something else other than potholes and while doing the research ended up here and am surprised to know that so many o[censored]s (Crysta owners) are having this issue. Very upset to know that Toyota is putting its customers life to risk by not attending to this problem of flat tyres and related issue. I did not do any search on issues while buying Crysta only because it is from Toyota, because of its reliability, durability and trust. Now I regret for my decision to buy Crysta, blindly. As usual dealer did not own responsibility for first flat tyre, was told by dealer that tyre manufacturer will not own the responsibility. Will have to talk to dealer about the second flat tyre and will support my claim with the info presented here, by Crysta users.

Anybody has any recommendations to get out of this situation. On one of the threads in Team-Bhp website has recommended tyres from Michelin. Dealer is recommending Yokohama, Continental, Celtic. Not sure which way to go, any suggestions would be helpful to all o[censored]s.

I have faced a Tyre burst of my Brand new Toyota Innova Crysta five days ago. I have complained to the company and the dealer. I hope there will be some solution to the issue.

I have already submitted my issue. My two tyres burst and wheels got bend. Toyota is not ready to replace the wheels. I am having wobbling problem above 100kms speed. Now I decided to go legal with consumer court. My advocate told me that if there are more people we can file together and it will be better. anybody wants to join me please inform.

I bought Innova Crysta Z 2months it's done jst 4000kms day befr yesterday on NH my right side front nd back Tyres bustd I took my vehicle to official service centre they said that dey will send a report to the tyre manufacturer and not responding proply can any one tell me what I can do further

I have also same Problem I purchased Innova Crysta in June 2016and my Vehicle Registration Number is KA-03-MY-4559 and my Dealer is Nandi Toyota in Hosur Road Bengaluru and it has done 25000+ kms and one Tyre is Bursted ad Another has Air Bubble and the concerned persons at the Dealership say that they had written to Bridgestone and have received reply stating that due to external impact it has been happened, Toyota being a trusted company world wide has to look into it as many vehicles had same problems. Some vehicle have been given 16" wheels as replacement for 17" but for us they say there is no Warranty, they should also think spending that when a customer is ready pay almost 25 Lakhs for a vehicle then it has to be of International Standards but in India they take us for a Ride because we will not agitata no thats why.
My sincere request to the Toyota-Kirloskar Company is to Manufature vehicles without any problems and give adequate safety measures.

All dissatisfied customers of crysta tyres should immediately file a case in consumer court.It can b done easily online. Toyota will never replace the tyres easily.
And also ask your knowns facing same problem to do the same.
This complaint might be listned only when we all take it jointly.

im also facing same problem with tyres. now i have filed complaint in the consumer forum mumbai.
it is humble request before you all that kindly sent me the mail which was sent you by the TOYOTA for rejecting your claim or any invoice or any other invoice that TOYOTA gave you the replacement in warranty.
I'll also send my invoice or mails to you too. we shall fight together to get justice. we have not spend over 20 Lakhs for defficiency in service.

Same problem faced for my Totoya 2.8Z bought in 2016 August. I had to finally change the tyres to 215/60 R17 . Toyota not ready to accept this fault and no compensation discussions entertained

I have innova crysta 2.4 z manual transmission of 17 inch wheel size, in which there started the alignment problem after 5000 km and told the company to solve the problem and also kept my vehicle for a week in their service center, but they have not solved my problem.as the car get struck to the small holes on the road the alignment get changed.
As the car launched, the tyre size was of 17 inch but due to customer problem, they've replaced the tyre size to 16 inch. And not the service center/toyota company is not solving my problem and i am very disappointed with this.
@Toyota @ToyotaIndia please solve this problem. This problem is all in 2.4 z 17 inch tyres

I dont know how the Toyota released Crysta with checking tyre stability, it is unfortunate that such a reputed company has done silly mistake.. tyres are wared within 40, 000km, , tyres are lot issues with crysta.. Company has to revisit there tyre unit, conduct full fledged research on Tyre stability..

My Innova crysta is 2018 model. I am facing the same problem. Two tyres cracked. Company denying taking any necessary actions. Dint expect this kind of a response from a company like Toyota.

I got the same problem today. Left rear type developed a crack and the tyre was flat. Have taken the type to Toyota showroom today. They have said they will submit the photos to bridgestone and see if they accept and replace the tyre. Keeping my fingers crossed.

any issues with 2.4 Z AT in 2021 ??, guess 2.8 Z AT with more ps claimed tyre life for most of you

I have already changed 2pairs of expensive Bridgestone tyres 215/55/R17. For long runs R17 rims have failed. Leading bad name for Toyota . I have been loyal customer of Toyota since more then 10years. Toyota should come out with inexpensive solution to resolve the issue.

My innova crysta has a second tyre blast problem just after 17000km. This is also happened on a smooth and clean road.
