Dear sir
I babbu kumar singh have a familly health policy from united india insurance, my son Rishikesh Anand age 3 years admited in hospital at ranchi which is cash less tieup for treatment on 23/09/2012 at 1:20:54 pm and discharge on 24/09/2012 at 2:00 pm.TPA haritage health pvt ltd rejected clime to saying less than 24 hours hospitalization .We submitted all original document in insurance office for reimbursement.Two time courier sent by insurance company to TPA and two time we sent speed post to TPA .but TPA did not take any action now till.we mailed to tpa also and so many time called to talk for this.but there is no any response is taken.please help me for this.

    I have taken car general insurance policy from an Insurance company.

    Details are as follows:

    Name of Insurance company: United India Insurance co. Ltd.

    Place of policy issuance: CBD Belapur Branch Navi Mumbai

    Name of the insured: Sainath Sabsare

    Car no. & Name: Tata Indica & MH-06-AS-7287

    Date of policy issued:11/01/2012

    Policy no.121000/31/11/01/00004200

    My car got accident on[protected] at Vapi in Gujarat.

    I submitted claim forms and completed all formalities on 20/06/2012 in Vapi branch in Gujarat as per insurance company instructions.

    I have been following up with Belapur office for claims pass.
    Every alternate day I have been visiting branch office.
    I am meeting there Asst. Divisional Manager Mr.Ashok S.Bansode and Divisional Manager Ms.Deki N.Bonde.

    Every time I visit they say either Mr. Bansode or Ms. Bonde is absent.

    I have been listening this for so times. I do not understand whether they here to serve organization / client or to take leave.

    When they are, there, they ask me, some kind of documentation, sometimes quotations from prospective buyers for car or they asked me to give cancelled cheque twice or claim forms twice.

    Whenever I try to call on their contact number nobody picks up.

    I have been visiting these guys ever since 20/06/2012.
    They are not confirming when they will release claims.
    Insurance company suppose to dispose or sell car in total loss case, but they never tried to sell that car. Even they did not try, or help me for this.

    After so many months also I have not received my claims.

    I was harassed by this insurance company for so many months. I am frustrated now. I do not have any other methods to use against this company. I have tried my best by taking off from my work, visiting their office so many times, by calling them either landline or mobile.

    Do they want me to pay extra commission or bribe to claim my dues?

    Is there any board/forum/department to guide or punish this kind of harassment?

    After days, months of trouble, frustration, embarrassment I am putting request for help.

    Respected Sir/Madam,

    I due to Mr Jai Deep my health policy no is 041700/48/10/97/00002758. I was admitted in Jivan Jyoti Hospital since[protected] to[protected].I was sent a my hospital documents in your TPA vipulmedcorp private Limited 515 Udyog phase V Gurgaon Haryana by courier. But no any information of claim receive to me.So I request to you please give a status of my health claim.

    actuly my acount name is diffrent from registation of bike name please do the action before the insurance company ,,,,,,,,
    i want my claim amount as soon as possible

    I have complaint against United India Insurance Co. Ltd. as above. I have not received any response from either IRDA or from United India.

    If I can not get any response from either of you where will I go for this harrassment?

    Dear Consumer forum,

    I have first lodged a complaint on 30th Dec 2012, regarding complaint against United India Insurance Co. Ltd. as above. I have not received any response from either IRDA or from United India.

    I thought I can get some sort of solution on above issue with consumer court online. I did not get any kind of response from either consumer court or United India Insurance or IRDA. If IRDA can not respond, who will respond? Is there some one responsible who can solve this my problem.

    Can I expect any positive response from any of the above board?

    Greetings for the time.

    W.r.t. previous mail regarding claim, as per your insurance company request I have submitted N.O.C from the financer on 25.03.2013.

    After that I have visiting CBD Belapur office everyday for issuance of the claim.

    Your staff at Belapur, are giving every possible excuse for not doing it. I do not understand why this is taking so much time for final settlement.

    Can I expect positive response or finally result from your end.

    Insurance claim is not as mechanical as you deem to imply. The insurance company is well within its right to investigate the case, examine the case and seek approvals from different levels within the hierarchy. I do agree that in a case like yours, the agony is definitely amplified in a Government Undertaking company like United Insurance, but that does not mean that the delay is attributed to certain individuals seeking bribe.
    my claim no.17719439 is pending & is not being paid on the excuse that the claim is being scrutinized for the last two months.my wife is suffering from cancer & i need money urgently for treatment her life is in danger & the insurance company is taking so lightly please help

        Dear Sir,
        I have took United India Insurance Company Limited's medical insurance and submitted one claim on August 2011 through TPA (Health India PVT LTD). Despite of several communication with our agent Mr. Vinod, we are not getting any positive response from him. When we tracked the Policy number; got message that the policy has been rejected and the reason mentioned was the policy is not carried over a period of 3 years. But that is actually happend a mistake from United Inida Insurance that they didn’t mentioned the continuity period (Inception Date) on the Policy. When we renewed the policy they have done the correction and changed the date 20/03/2009 onwards, which is attaching with this letter with my new Policy number 100200/48/11/06/00004861.I have already registered the grievance one month back ( GRIEVANCE REGISTRATION NUMBER::DG[protected]) into United India Insurance Company but no response.
        Then I have registered complaint in IRDA on 22 Nov 2012 (Entity Reference Number :UI[protected])

            With reference to the subject please notes that:-
            That the incident happen on the morning at about 8.15 am at platform no. 1 at Ahmedabad Guj. on dated 03.10.202 as narrated in brief as under:-
            That our 11 employees coming by Puri – Gandhidham exp. Train no. 12994 from Bhubneshwer to Ahmedabad having legal Tatkal tickets and with their original ID proof. During this long journey their tickets and id checked by the concerned TC time to time and they happily and successfully traveled up to Ahemedabad. The above tickets PNR Nos. :-,[protected],[protected] &[protected]Ticket. Nos.AA17433195, AA17433196, AA[protected]
            these employees while exit for tea the TC of exit gate asked that show ID proof and they have shown but TC told that the ID printed on Ticket is not your but the agent and show that and few have told age difference lightly and asked to deposit about 11000/- . meanwhile I came there to and inquired matter the tc reported that they have not id as printed though all employees have own original and printed document but TC create such hubbub and confusion Lastly any how tC ased to give the 3000/- and leave without any receipt though I insist for it but forcibly they told u all go away else fine will be more. This is come to know that earlier too many innocent passengers/ people become the victims of this looting the TC at exit gate. Names of 2 tc not recollecting names. kindly inquired the matter and make a refund from the concerned TC .
            This is for your kind information and necessary action in the matter on such mal practices and save people of our own country. Hope you will be taking a suitable action in the matter to inform undersigned.

                Dear Sir,
                I was insured with United India Insurance Co. Ltd. with Mediclaim Raksha TPA Scheme through my employer Intex Technologies India Ltd, D-18/2 Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi - 110020.
                During the service period I was taken the facility for treatment of my stomach problem with Ashoka Hospital, Rajendra Nagar, Patna on dt. 28.01.2012 and admitted for one day with Cashless benefit, for which the estimated cost of expenses may be under Rs. 5000/-. But the cost of expenses have charged by the Hospitals of Rs. 46290/- and also passed and paid to hospital the same amount by Raksha TPA. While, we have already informed to him that claim amount is false and neither the related expenses details have disclosed by the Hospital with me nor taken any my acceptance in papers or bill related document of my treatment.

                I have regularly followed with Raksha TPA officers from January 2012 but they only assured me that the investigation is in process and we will inform you very shortly. After a long time 8 months above it’s indicated that they are not interested to resolve the matter.

                  This is Kamlesh Patel s/o Bherulal Patel here.
                  Sir I purchase the my Bike (motorcycle) Policy from your company and the policy number is 31/11/01/00004697 ON Date 18/11/2011. From your branch office in Dhar.
                  I ask for policy on the same day but they told the policy will be send to your Address(house) within 5-6 Weeks. After the 3-4 Month I go to your branch 2-3 times again but no response and the “Vikas Adhikaari”
                  Mr. VK Mehta (Who is work as well as Agent) Not present in the office till 12 noon and ask to come later when talk to on phone (Number is taken from your branch) and tell “Hum hai na aap kou Tension lateho baat mai le jaana”. And when I am going to your branch today (28/8/2012) again They give me a wonderful Answer That “ Are ab to next Premium ka time aa gaya hai ab le jaa kar kya karo gee.Nayi aa rahi wo he le jaana ” and when I ask if any case is happened then they write my policy number on the paper and give me and ask “samal kar rakhna Hum hai na Sab dekhe lege.”
                  What I do after this to take my policy from your company. Please help me and give me my policy I already pay Rs. 500 till now as fine in Dhar Traffic Police.
                  Please Send me my policy on my address as per policy address.
                  (And next time do not tell customer that policy will be send to your address)

                      This is Naresh Kumar Mahto an Ex Employee o[censored]niversal Digital Connect Ltd.(Videocon Mobile Handset Div.) with Mediclaim Policy Member ID-UIC[protected]UNIV, POLICY
                      NO.-221800/48/11/41/00001036, Claim ref no.-[protected]. Sir, I had the group mediclaim policy for an employee from the said co. under which my father Mr. Mangal Mahto had gone under retina detachment surgery on 07th Mar.2012. For which I had raised a claim to the concerned TPA(Raksha TPA) ON 12th Mar.2012 for amount Rs.22688 .Due to my father deteriorating health I had to resign from my Job in next month and I went to my Native place.I waited for around a month that i will receive my claim in a dau or to. When i dint receive then i enquired UDCL HR dept. who directed me to follow up with Raksha. I started following up with Raksha as per its evident from attached mail. Despite of sending the entire docs in original, I was asked to send it again. Which i got the duplicate copy of it from the hospital and send it again. They kept on ignoring my mails & my phone calls. But i dint lost my patience. In between Mr. Mohit(with whom i was following up with Raksha, left then again from starting I had to follow up with Mr. Parveen at palce of Mr. Mohit) left and i was asked that the docs sent to him got misplaced and i was to send again. Which i did. In july Mr. Parveen said that all your Docs are ok now ask United to reopen your policy so that claim can be processed. I dnt know, how come they closed my policy when my claim settlement was under process. Any I got in touch with Mr.Rahul in united & he assured me that my claim would be processed in 15 days. After 15 days when i got in touch with Mr. Parveen, he said the claim wouldnt be processed as it not complete and send the docs again. Is it not a harassment to the poor people. If being they are doing this kind of mischievousness with literate people, God knows how they would be playing with illiterate people. I dont know, whether i will get my claim or not, whom should i knock for this. But one thing is for sure, I would never ever take any kind of Policy from United India in my life nor will let my family, friends, relatives to take. If somebody can help me in taking my claims, i would be really grateful.

                        I have recd again query from vipul Med Corp TPA Pvt Ltd,515 Udyog vihar Phase-V,Gurgaon on dt. 4/7/12. This query according I have been submit all documents through Courier (DTDC). This documents recd. by Insurance co. But till date i have recd. no any response & not recd. any Claim amount agst. my policy no. 222800/48/11/03/00002892 file no. 12RB01U1H3038. Today i have recd. a mail regarding my file is closed without any reason insurance company closed my claim file. I have member o[censored]nited india insurance co ltd from 2008.

                        But insurance compnay not pay my claim amount & close this file.

SO WE GONE TO DELHI FOR CONDUCTING THESE TEST, THE INSURANCE COMPANY SAYS THAT THESE TEST MUST BE DURING THE HOSPITALISATION PERIOD. WE HAVE TO GET DISCHARGE FROM THE HOSPITAL TO GET THESE TESTS WHICH WERE DONE ON DOCTOR ADVICE AND WERE NOT IN ADMITTED HOSPITAL. SO I REQUEST YOU TO HELP ME GET MY DUE CLAIN AMOUNT FROM THE INSURANCE COMAPNY

                              i am covered under mediclaim policy no 040800/48/10/97/00002259 with United India Insurance co.Div office-8, Kailash Bldng, Kasturba Gandhi marg
                              NeW Delhi. I had applied for reimbursement to TPA Vipul Medcorp Udyog Vihar Gurgaon in 2nd week of jan2012 and i had sent all the required documents and prescriptions to TPA vipul medicorp. Thereafter i received a letter from Vipul on 27th jan 2012 in which they has asked for some more documents which were also sent to Vipul Medcorp. When i checked from Vipul after 30 days i was told some approval is awaited from United India Insurance Co. Since last 60 days i have been following United India Insurance co. Kailash Bldg, Kasturba Gandhi Marg to send the approval, but they have been giving some or the other excuse. My FILE NO of Vipul Medcorp is 12 RB01 UIA3658.

                                My self Pritpal singh S/o Late S.Harcharan singh . this has regarding above said vehicle met with accident at mugal chak on dated 5/11/2011. I submitted the application for claim United Insurance Co Ltd office. After thiReceiveed call from United Innsurance office that your claim has been processed and settled in INR 349000(three lakh forty nine thousand only) then I visited United Insurance office at Amritsar 1 March 2012 where United Insurance employee taken the undertaking letter from me of cash loss Excluding Damage Vehicle for Rs 149000(One Lac Forty Nine thousand) . which is yet not recived the same. Now received a letter on dated 19 march 2012 from Unites office that my claim file is closed on the basis of rash and neglence driving of driver. As where the rash and neglence is not done by driver
                                • Where the accident occurred the track was unmanned
                                • There is no sign board of railway crossing/ sign of horn
                                • There is no signal or watchmen for the intimation of the arrived train

                                As my parents died in the accident this is simply the unfortunate incident where nobody can be blamed except the railways authority for not taking proper care of such type of places resulting in such mishaps.

                                I also give request for Reopen But No Reply is come from United Insurance office

                                United Insurance Co Ltd — Partial payment of my claim

                                United Insurance paid only Rs 35, 000 whereas I've paid Rs 67, 652 towards repair and replacements of our car parts for my Policy No: 051500/31/08/01/00001448 .

                                And they have not responded to my grievance.

                                    I have bought an United India Health insurance Family Medicare Policy under Policy No 042381/48/11/06/[protected]Sum Assured 2.0 Lakh) on 23.12.2011.But till the date I didn't receive any ID Card from their end as well as I have made several phone calls to the agent but there is no action till the date.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have a Health insurance policy o[censored]nited India insurance Company and since last two years receiving my identity card with wrong photographs. The matter was referred by lodging a written complaint with old card with photograph to the company twice during the renewal period. I had also informed them that in case, the cards are not received with the photographs in proper order, I will be forced to refer the same to IRDA. Even after sending a written complaint, again I received the cards with wrong photographs.

                                      When I refer the matter to local office, they inform me that they are not concerned with this issue. I would like to know who is concerned with this issue and whom should i refer the matter.

                                        We are in receipt of your letter No. 031901/Health Claim/408/2011, dt.21.2.2012 from United India Insurance Co. Ltd., Siliguri Branch mentioning that “Claim is not submitted in time”. I was alone and I was busy in my wife’s treatment first then I shall think for claim.

                                        In this connection, the shown reason in your letter is withdrawn now a days. The date of discharge was 2.4.2011 but we have submitted our claim on 29.6.2011 due to continuation of treatment and still patient is under treatment for same disease.

                                        We surprised to notice that how any company took so much time to reply above reason for rejection complaint. After lapse of 8 months, company has replied so simply and negatively. Why company has not replied immediately after receipt of our claim.

                                        As you know that, we are your client since more than 10 years and we pay more than Rs. 2 lakh per year altogether for medicare and other GIC in your company.

                                        Therefore, you are once again requested to please look into the matter and settle our claim as early as possible other wise we are compelled to move to consumer court. We shall have to think for business with you in future also.
